Janet T. Hall - January 22, 1937 - February 06, 2024

Departed: 02/06/2024 (Haltom City)
Obituary Preview: In Loving Memory of Janet T. Hall 1937 - 2024
With profound sadness we announce the passing of our Mother, Janet Hall on February 6th, 2024, after a long fight with Vascular Dementia.
Janet was born January 22nd, 1937, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Edmond & Frances Stoffel.  She met her husband in high school, was married and began raising her 5 children.
After her divorce, as a single parent, Janet embraced the challenges and financial adversities of raising five children by herself by working three jobs, one being the administrative assistant to the Dean of Men at Southwest Missouri State University.
If you would have ever asked Janet what was the most important part of her life she would have answered “her five angels and her Catholic faith”.  Her unconditional love for her children and passion for her Catholic faith was the reason she was adamant her children attend catholic school until they graduated high school.  Shortly before retiring Janet followed her children and moved from Missouri to Texas.
In her free time, Janet loved to bowl, play bridge and garden in her backyard.  She enjoyed giving back to her community and was awarded Woman of the Year 1993-1994 in Watauga for volunteering many hours at the Public Library.
These past few years weren’t easy ones for Janet. The devastating effects of her disease which included watching her lose her cherished memories and having her personality change so much from what she used to be were difficult.
Janet leaves behind four children Gary Hall (Jeannie), Ron Hall, Nancy Stephens and David Hall (Karen); four grandchildren Daniel Millican, Tyler Hall, Garrett Hall and Grant Hall; brother Gordon Stoffel and sister Marion Newbauer St. Paul, MN.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Hall, mother Frances Stoffel and father, Edmund Stoffel.
Please join us for a celebration of her life at Good Shepherd Catholic Church: 1000 Tinker Road, Colleyville, Texas on Monday, February 12th at 11:00am.

Obituary Preview: In Loving Memory of Mark Vidana Ashmore 1985 - 2024
In loving memory of Mark Ashmore, born on December 30, 1985, in Fort Worth, Texas, and peacefully departed on January 20, 2024. Mark's journey was one marked by resilience, love, and an unwavering commitment to family. Born to his father Norberto Comacho Vidana and his mother, Carla Jean Ashmore, Mark's roots in Fort Worth were deep. He leaves behind a devoted family, including his father, sisters Maria Vidana-Alba and her husband, Alexander Alba, Juanita Vidana-Ramirez and her husband, Valente Ramirez, Monica Vidana and her husband, Abraham Alvarado,  Misty Vidana-Boehmisch and her husband, Nicolas Boehmisch and his brother, Omar Ashmore and his wife Cecilia Ashmore. Mark's world revolved around the bonds he shared with his family, a source of unwavering strength and support. A graduate of Northside High School, Mark's love for music, especially the soulful melodies of Spanish tunes, was evident to all who knew him. He not only enjoyed it but shared his passion with the entire neighborhood by playing it loudly, creating a musical backdrop that became a part of the community's fabric. His front porch served as a sanctuary where he found solace, listening to the rhythm of traffic and engaging in the simple yet profound conversations with his neighbors. Mark, facing physical challenges, displayed remarkable strength, both physically and mentally. His family would tell you, that they never met anyone stronger than Mark.   Neither physically or mentally. Yet, Mark's resilience shone through, and he never allowed his disabilities to hinder his spirit or pull others down.  Mark, a true sports aficionado, he harbored a deep love for the Dallas Cowboys. His emotions mirrored those of countless fans when the team faced challenges on the field. Beyond his love for earthly pursuits, Mark's faith in the Lord was a guiding light in his life. In the week leading to his passing, he shared with friends and family his anticipation of receiving a new body from the Lord—an expression of his profound faith and hope. One endearing family story encapsulates Mark's wit and faith. During a road trip, when his parents found themselves lost, they turned to prayer for guidance. Mark, quick-witted and full of faith, humorously chimed in, "Oh, you’re in trouble if you’re lost with Jesus." Mark's funeral service will be a poignant gathering to celebrate his life on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Roberts Martinez Funeral Home, located at 4200 Denton Highway. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 10 AM, with the service commencing at 10 AM. Following the service, Mark will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas. In remembering Mark Ashmore, we honor a life well-lived—a life defined by love, faith, and an indomitable spirit that touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration for his family, friends, and all who were touched by his remarkable journey.
