Antowonette accepted Christ at an early age with the Sunset Missionary Baptist Church. And, later moved to Polly Chapel with her mother.
Antowonette attended schools in TISD where she graduated from OPTIONS class of 2000 and then attended Texarkana College briefly trying to obtain a nursing degree.
Antowonette (Nette) was taught at an early age about work ethics. She had numerous of jobs, but she realized that her niche was helping with the elderly. So, she got her CNA certification. Her last position was with Edgewood Manor. Working with the elderly was a passion of hers and she also was elated to be able to care for her aunt and uncle in the same facility as well. Her patients loved her just like she loved them. Her hard work and dedication, tenacity, infectious
smile, bubbly spirit will truly be missed.
Miss Criner was proceeded in death by her mother Tori Criner-Wilkerson, brother Rashard Criner, maternal grandparents Johnnie and James Criner, and paternal sister Ashley Hill.
Miss Antowonette Criner’s life ended at the age of 40 on Saturday May 4, 2024. Her family and friends will definitely remember how she was a kindhearted loving person. Antowonette Criner leaves behind her three lovely children: A’unisty Jefferson, C.J. Griffin, and Dymond Criner. Maternal brother Reginald Criner, stepdad Kenneth Wilkerson. Paternal siblings, Anthony Hawkins, Tiffany Wade-Royal, Allyson

She was united in holy matrimony, to George Dangerfield in Houston, TX on April 27th, 1985. Bobbie Jean, more affectionately known as “Ms. B”, was the proud owner of Ms. B’s Salon. She was an astonishing role model to many young women and was known for her great advice and genuine love and concern for others. She has been described as a classy, loving woman, whose light shined bright as a beacon for others. When she wasn’t mentoring and guiding others, she spent quality time with her husband, George. They thoroughly enjoyed their weekend
“Honeymoon Dates”. Every Saturday they would often travel to different cities visiting quaint shops for small antique treasures. Bobbie Jean had a passion for refurbishing antique furniture which she frequently used to decorate her home.
She also loved planting flowers, her favorites were roses and ivy plants.
Bobbie Jean was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Eva (Candy) Allen, two brothers, Lawrence and Raymond Allen, and one son, Harold Long. She leaves to cherish her memories; her devoted husband George Dangerfield of Ashdown, AR, daughter, Cecelia (Johnnie) Johnson (Long) of Houston, TX, and son, Preston Long of Phoenix AZ. Born on May 1st, 1977, in
Inglewood, California, Larry’s journey was marked by profound experiences that shaped him into the remarkable individual he was. Larry’s early years were spent in Los Angeles, California and he graduated from Atlanta High School in 1996. During his time there, he excelled not only academically but also athletically, participating in football, basketball, and track. His
passion and talent in track earned him numerous medals, reflecting his dedication and drive even from a young age. In 1997, Larry made the decision to serve his country by joining the United States Army. His commitment to his faith led him to dedicate his life to Christ in 2003, followed by his baptism and membership at St. Mary Missionary Baptist
Church. Throughout his military career, Larry served with honor and distinction, including deployments to Germany and active participation in both Iraq wars. After serving thirteen years and reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant (E7), Larry’s military career came to an end due to a knee injury. Returning home to Atlanta, Texas in 2011, he embraced a new chapter in his life. In 2011, Larry found love and companionship with Chaundra, whom he married on June 3rd, 2017. He embraced Chaundra’s sons as his own and welcomed daughter Keira and son Nasir into the world with open arms Determined to continue his pursuit of excellence, Larry earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and embarked on a successful career at International Paper Mill and later with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). His relentless drive
and commitment to self-improvement led him from office work to heavy mobile operations and eventually to the esteemed position of Branch Chief. Larry was not only a dedicated professional but also a devoted family man. He took immense pride in providing for his loved ones, ensuring that they never went without. His love for his wife, children, mother, sisters and extended family
knew no bounds; and his integrity and compassion touched the lives of all who knew him. In addition to his professional and familial pursuits, Larry found joy in cooking gourmet dishes, sharing his culinary creations on social media, and spreading laughter through his humor on Facebook. His BBQ skills were legendary, and he
cherished every moment spent with his family, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
