Patricia enjoyed playing Bingo, pinochle  and was an avid Detroit Tiger and Red Wing fan.  Patricia also loved to spend time with her family. She was a waitress for 48 years and took great pride in her job.

Beloved husband of the late Dolores and loving father of the late Laura ( Brian), Kristi (Gary) & step father of Ken, John (Robin) and the late Kathy.
Larry was a grandfather of 18 and a great grandfather of 16.
Larry grew up in Detroit and loved reminiscing about his childhood years sneaking into Tiger Stadium and working hard as a child to earn enough money to take the streetcars to Belle Isle, where he loved fishing and horseback riding.
Larry was a proud employee of Preston Trucking Co. ( The 151 Line) and a union member of Teamsters Local 299 for over 25 years. He enjoyed watching sports and loved to golf.
Towards the end of his journey on earth, Larry loved to take walks to the park, spot the airplanes overhead, and would never forget to ask if you had anything " sweet" to eat. Larry was the most kind, giving, and humble man, he will be greatly missed by his family!

Susan had the ability to see potential in everything. She loved painting and doing crafts, turning the ordinary into a creation, not only for art shows, but in exposing her grandchildren to all the different types of art there is. They never left her home without a new creation to take home. She was involved in the Downriver Art Ambiance club for many years, and in her younger years, shared her talent and love for socializing as the Art Director at the St. Jude Nursing Center.
Her passion for gardening was a work of art itself and her backyard was her haven.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, September 19, with visitation starting at 10:00am, with a Memorial Service at 1:00pm, followed by last goodbyes at the Cadillac Memorial Gardens West, in Westland.

Lynda is survived by her brother Gordon (Phyllis) Kapron and Wayne (Judy) Kapron, 6 nieces and nephews, and 8 great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Kapron, and 2 sisters, Nickalyn and Carol.
Lynda leaves behind many friends and family who will solely miss her.

Obituary Preview: On Friday June 10, 2022 Jeanette J. Freeman, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away at the age of 84.
Jeanette was born on November 22, 1938 to Hubert and Harriet Scratch.
On September 4, 1954 she married the love of her life, Almon C. Freeman. They would continue their lives together and go on to have four children, Darlene, Vonna, Thomas, and Joann.
Jeanette loved to go to the Horse races. She would ride in the cart to take the jockeys coffee. When she married Almon she joined him in the love of racing. She would go to the race track to watch her husband run, and later her son Thomas (Tom), her daughter Vonna, and even for the times her grandson Tom would run his car. For the times that she was not at the race track she spent her time cooking, a passion she loved (and was amazing at). She worked as a head cook at a nursing home and Sara Fischer for 30 years. She continued her passion for cooking and baking for her family. Jeanette would bake amazing cakes for her family for various occasions.
Jeanette loved spending time with her family. She adored her grandchildren, and was over the moon when she became a great-grandmother. Jeanette became more ecstatic with every great- grandchild she had.
Jeanette is survived by Darlene Hess, Vonna (Red) Hopkins, Joann Freeman, daughter-in-law Annette Freeman, sister Ellen Breitmeyer and sister -in-law Beverly Scratch: several grandchildren, Amanda (Guthrie) Colburn, Cindy Freeman-Hess, Tom (Myrynda) Freeman, Heather ( Corey) Davis, Mike Hopkins, Christopher Freeman, Junior Zell: five great-grandchildren, Macy, Tucker, Nixon, Harper and Lennox. Along with several nieces and nephews: several great-nieces and nephews.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband Almon, son Thomas, sister Marion, brother Wesley, Father Hubert, Mother Harriet, and Son-in-Law Bill, along with several nieces and nephews/great-nieces and nephews.

Charles Monroe Robinson - July 01, 1934 - May 23, 2022

Obituary Preview: Charles Monroe Robinson (87) of Garden City, Michigan passed away peacefully, with his beloved four children by his side, on May 23, 2022. He was not sad for he knew his family was strong and he would be reuniting with the love of his life again, Marg.
Charles Monroe Robinson was fondly known by friends and family as “Monroe” or “Roe”. Others knew him as “Charlie”. Monroe was born to Stella and Eugene Robinson on July 1, 1934, in Kenvir, Kentucky. He grew up in a small coal miner’s town on Black Mountain. He was the second youngest of 10 children: Tommy, Hazel, Tootsie, Ellen, Bill, Pat, Margret, Joe and Julie Jane. It was in Evarts, Kentucky that he met the love of his life, Margaret “Marg” Harris. They fell in love and married on March 24, 1952. In pursuit of a better life, he and his bride left Kentucky and came to Michigan for a promise of better job. They settled in Detroit in 1952. He accepted a job at General Motors. He spent over 35 years at General Motors. He was proud of his work and proud of his service to the UAW Local 735 and fellow UAW members.
Monroe loved his family with all his heart; his four children Ginger Robinson Gotham, Charles “Chris” Robinson, Tracy (Mandi) Robinson and Melissa “Missy” (George) Roby. He adored all his grandchildren and great grandchildren and beloved nephew Matthew “Matt” Strong (child Carson). He had 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren: Frank (Andrea) Gotham (children Aiden, Conner and Jaxon); Stacey Robinson (child Maverick); Andy (Darlene) Robinson (child Isaac); Travis (Carrie) Robinson (children Elliot and Emmitt); Amanda (Rich) Liebau (children Alyssa, Brooke and Jaxson); Joshua Roby; Kallie (Nate) Reif; Zachary Robinson; Tyler Robinson; Samantha Roby; Chelsea Robinson and Emma Robinson.
Monroe is preceded in death by his one true love, Margaret “Marg” Robinson, his loving mother, Stella Robinson and father Eugene Robinson. As well as by his nine siblings.
Saying good-bye is so final, so we will say “we will see you again in heaven”. We are comforted in knowing that he is now with Marg, his forever true love. She was a graduate of Southfield Lathrup High excelling in English/Writing and attended Interlochen Arts Academy. She became an Emergency Travel Coordinator, helping people get back to the USA if there was difficult medical or politcal situations. She then became a Medical Assistant achieving the school's Dean's List and the National Dean's List. But due to many health concerns/procedures she decided to solely concentrate on her family. She loved cooking, music, bowling, movies, helping friends and was devoted to her daughter Kailee.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years Randy L. Smith; daughter Kailee Ann Smith; brother Joseph (DeAnn) Brzezinski and their family Madelyn, Allison, Jonathon, Justin. Also, many aunts & uncles and nieces & nephews.
She will be dearly missed.

Gloria was born March 26, 1924, in Negaunee, Michigan. Parents, Samuel and Helen Veale.
As a young woman, Gloria made the long trek to Detroit for work. She started work at Michigan Bell as a switch board operator and moved onto sales at Hudsons. Detroit is also where she met and married the love of her life, Gene Campbell. Gloria would tell the story of how they met. She said that she and a friend were coming out of a nickel movie theater and passed Gene on the side walk. Gloria boarded a trolly and moments later Gene pulled up along side in a car and asked them to get off. Gloria said 4 more stops. Gene waited the stops and when Gloria got off the trolly Gene offered to drive both of them home. Both agreed to the ride. Gloria with a smile would say she knew she had him when he turned and asked her friend where she lived first. They had a strong and beautiful marriage. They raised a family, started long-standing traditions and instilled strong family values. Both were active members at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Redford, Michigan
Gloria is survived by her daughter Janet; grandchildren Gene (Jennifer) and Colleen; great-grandchildren Amber, Joshua, and Isabella. Gloria touched the lives of so many with her unconditional love, kindness, generosity, and great wisdom. It didn’t matter the time of day or late hours of the night, she was always there to provide advice and comfort to those she loved. The focus of her life after retirement was raising her granddaughter Colleen. They were inseparable best friends. Gloria would say it was Colleen that gave her so much joy and happiness that contributed to her living a long life. Everyone that knew them would agree!
Preceded in death by her husband, Gene W. Campbell. Parents, Samuel and Helen Veale. Multiple brothers and sisters as well as aunts, uncles and cousin Gloria will be deeply loved and forever missed. Gloria in the last months of life would say goodnight by saying “Thanks for Everything” We love you Gram and thank you for everything!
