Pamela Joy was the Matriarch of our family, our Crown Jewel, the Queen of our hearts. She was a very positive person, always persevering thru tough times, often with a smile on her face. And what a beautiful smile she had too! Pam was selfless, loving, thought and kind but, definitely not a push-over! She was a busy bee! She worked all day, tended to her home and gardens and hardly ever missed a Grandchild's event! They call her Mimi and they meant the world to her. Anytime, day or night, she provided them with support, encouragement, understanding and tough love when necessary. Mimi made priorities out the ordinary; what a fine example she set! She taught four of them to drive and no doubt would have taught the rest as well. Mimi loved to spend quality time with them by taking them shopping and out to eat. Pamela took them on mini vacations every summer. They went to lake houses, zip lining, proper tea parties, Seven Springs, Sandcastle and Slide the City- just to name a few. She deserved more time with us and them and to celebrate all her Grandchildren’s milestones both big and small. Although we are devastated by this loss and know nothing will ever be the same again, she made it clear what she expects from us; to be there for  and take care of each other- no matter what! We will do just that! We will take up her cross and carry on in her honor- always! Pamela Joy never denied her Father in Heaven and He has not denied her a righteous home in His Kingdom. Enjoy your Heavenly family, Mimi! You earned it, Queen!  All our love forever,  Your grateful family To light a candle or to send a condolence in Pam's memory, visit www.readshawfuneralhome.com
