The close-knit group lived near loving family members and friends. Together since youth, the sisters remained close throughout adulthood. She was adored by the customers and enjoyed this time in her career. An Affayre to Remember Faye found a new calling and started to learn the artistry of floral design. Like many before her, this entrepreneur started in the basement of her home. She crafted various floral arrangements there before moving to her own storefront. She took great pride in her work and always sought to use the highest quality flowers and materials to design spectacular floral arrangements. After more than 30 years of serving the Chicago metropolitan area, Faye closed the doors one last time in 2013 and retired. The flower shop lives on in celluloid history as it is seen in the Paul Newman & Tom Cruise movie, The Color of Money. Let Them Eat Cake Affectionately known as Miss Faye or Faye Faye, she had a great talent for making the most delectable desserts.
