Lorie knew no strangers. Whether you knew her for many years or just met her, you were subjected to her teasing sense of humor. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of various organizations including St John UCC, Eastern Star, and White Shrine.
Lorie enjoyed volunteering and every November on Old Newsboys Day, you could find her and her friend Marylee at the intersection of Fifth St & Clark collecting money for children’s organizations. Lorie was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels as well as holding office as a volunteer in the Auxiliary to the American Postal Workers Union.
She was a crossing guard for St Charles school district and loved seeing the kids and families each day and continued to receive notes and Christmas cards from multiple families that she interacted with during that time.
Lorie was a lifelong fan of Elvis and will be remembered for her jovial sassiness as well as her love for children and animals. She especially loved the St Louis Clydesdales and Lipizzaner Stallions.
Lorie is survived by her husband Ronald Davis, children Sue (Rich) Myers, Joyce (Armand) Pilotte, and Rob Davis, grandchildren Amanda Myers, Melissa Willyard, Tiffany (Chris) Sehrt, Armand Pilotte, Kate Pilotte, and great-grandchildren Coltyn, Elliott, Landon, Ethan, sister-in-law Audrey Jean (Roger) Ringhausen along with nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. She spent 30 years working at Miss Hullings Bakery before she ended her career as at Plaza Frontenac.location Terry spent the rest of her days doing the most important work of all, the work of a Family Matriarch!
She was a loving and caring wife to Glen whom she adored for over 30 years. They spent their time living in the country and enjoying the Mississippi River on Alton Lake.
She was a wonderful and involved mother of 5 children! She was super close to her mom and dad and she loved every minute of time spent with her 2 Grand daughters and 5 grandsons.
To Terry family was the most important thing, so she stayed involved in keeping her huge family of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins connected through family event planning and hosting reunions. She was not only loved by her whole family but her fur babies as well. Terry Loved Animals and they loved her back. She is survived by her pup Chopper who misses his mommy dearly as do we all.

Richard Frank Burton - March 23, 1935 - April 10, 2024

Obituary Preview: Richard Frank Burton(89) of St. Ann, Missouri was summoned to Heaven on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024 from Oak Pointe Senior Living in Washington, Missouri. Preceded in death by his mother Eva Burton and his loving wife of 31 years (Virginia “Jenny” Burton), he is survived by his daughter Cindy (Stephen) Rust, son Richard (Judy) Burton, Jr., step-daughter Melissa (Peter) Oprisko, step-sons Eric (Stacy) McVicker and Stephen McVicker and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who knew him affectionately as “PaPa.”
Born on March 23, 1935 in Neosho, MO, Richard’s strong character and stellar work ethic (forged by long hours of difficult farm work) led him to become a successful fur trapper in his teens. After high school, Richard was accepted into the elite United States Air Force cadet training program from which he graduated with highest honors. From 1955 to 1963, Richard served as an Air Force commander and pilot of myriad military aircraft on many important, dangerous missions worldwide. His selfless, patriotic service earned him prolific honors and upon returning to civilian life, he remained in the Air Force Reserves through the 1970s.
By this time, Captain Burton was flying for legendary Ozark and later Trans World Airlines in a career that spanned 25 years, hundreds of routes and thousands of hours. After “retiring” in 1991, Richard spent the next decade as a flight instructor/trainer for American Eagle Airlines before retiring for good.
Richard was an avid gardener, fisherman and photographer who was adored by many admirers who knew him as a generous friend, a devoted, faithful husband, a loving and supportive father, a doting grandfather, a fearless leader and a terrific role model. He will be sorely missed, but will forever be in our hearts and prayers.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 13th from 2-3pm at Paul Funeral Home in St. Charles, MO. Funeral services will follow immediately at 3pm. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mountain View, MO on Monday April 15th at 11am. All are welcome to attend.

Alice Renee (nee Allen) Sentiff went home to heaven on April 7, 2024.
Renee was born December 13, 1954 in Dawson Springs, Kentucky to William E. and Martha Nell ( nee Mansell) Allen.  She was the youngest of three children.  Her family moved to Illinois in 1963 and she graduated from Columbia Illinois High School in 1972.
Renee worked for many years as a Civilian Analyst for the U. S. Army.  She was married to her first husband, Kurt Daesch, but that marriage ended.  She married her second husband, Gary Sentiff, who died of a heart attack.  Renee lived for her family, especially her son, Von.  Her son was her pride and joy.
Renee is survived by her loving son, Von ( Shannon) Daesch, her grandson, Tyler Daesch, her first husband, Kurt Daesch and her loving brother, Billy Michael ( Nancy) Allen.  She is also survived by her nieces, Amanda Allen-Adkins ( David Adkins), and Angela (Burk) Watts, her nephews, Michael Allen (Katja Perat), Jason (Cheri) Courtney, Joseph Courtney,  and Jon (Andrea) Courtney.  Her uncle, Donald (Frances) Allen, her cousins, Nancy Hopper Peyton, David (Cindy) Hopper, Debra Allen, Cindy Todd, William Don (Earla) Watson, Bobby Watson, Janice ( Bill) Harper and Terry Hamby.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, Gary Sentiff, her parents, William and Martha (nee Mansell) Allen and her sister, Tamarra Allen Courtney.
She was kind, giving and gentle.  She was loved by all and will be deeply missed.

Sarah was born on December 13, 1975. She was the oldest of six children of Dennis and Diane Oberlohr, and was a loving big sister to her five younger siblings. As a child she attended St. Angela Merici Elementary School. She was a member of the Girl Scouts while there. Sarah graduated from Hazelwood Central High School with a 4.1 GPA, and later attended Florissant Valley Community College. Sarah is remembered as a tremendously gifted artist. She won a nationally sponsored art contest at the age of 6. As an adult, any object became an artistic item for creative expression.
She was outstanding at crochet, loved music and was a big fan of flowers and bright colors. She had a flamboyant personality and was full of big dreams. She found great joy in the life milestones of her family. She will be remembered for her generosity, free spirit and uniquely independent thinking.
Sarah was optimistic in her belief that life was good. She had a strong personality and a bold approach to life that left lasting impacts on those who loved her.
Sarah is survived by her mother Diane Oberlohr; her three children, who were the world to her, Charlotte Phifer, Christopher Oberlohr and Justice Oberlohr; her siblings, Heather Oberlohr, Jason Oberlohr, Greg Oberlohr, Hannah (Josh) Zilch, and Adam Oberlohr. Sarah was a beloved niece, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Oberlohr. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 7th 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 with a funeral service at 4:00pm at Paul Funeral Home, 240 N. Obituary Preview: Neil R. Schraith passed away peacefully in his beloved home in St. Charles, MO, on March 24, 2024, from complications of end stage liver disease. Neil was 52.
Born in Milwaukee, WI, Neil graduated from Nicolet High School in Glendale, and was a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Il, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering. His first job out of college in 1994 was with McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, MO, (later acquired by Boeing) where he spent his entire post graduate career.
Neil took great pride in his role in the development of multiple defense aerospace projects: F-18, F-15, UCAV, JSF, 777X, and many more, including some “he couldn’t talk about.” Neil's dedication and contributions to Boeing were invaluable, leaving a lasting legacy within the aerospace industry.
A lifelong student, Neil earned several Master’s Degrees in related fields.
Beyond his educational and professional accomplishments, Neil was known for his dedication to mentoring and guiding aspiring engineers. His involvement in programs like the Explorer program allowed him to share his knowledge and passion with the next generation of engineering professionals, leaving a lasting impact on their lives and careers.
Despite his professional achievements, Neil silently fought a lifelong battle with depression and a nearly 30-year battle with alcoholism. A struggle he kept largely private from those around him.
Neil's passing serves as a reminder of the personal battles many individuals face and the importance of reaching out for support when needed.
Neil will be remembered fondly for his integrity, kindness, and unwavering commitment to his family, work, and community. He is survived by his brother Mark (Andrea), niece Clara, nephew Luca, and countless family members and friends. Neil was preceded in death by his parents, Roman F. and Mary Ann Schraith (nee Schroeder).
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Neil's life will be held on Saturday, May 11, from 3pm - 7pm at the Bavarian Bierhaus (formerly the Bavarian Inn) in Neil’s childhood hometown of Glendale, WI.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew McGrath whom she married in 1949 and together they had 4 children; Matthew (Lisa) McGrath, Patrick (Deborah) McGrath, Mary Obermark, Anne (James) Ebeler. Dolores was a proud grandmother to Brian, Laura, Daniel, Allie, Cori, Kyle, Maggie, Dustin, and Taylor. Great grandmother to Liam, Nicole, Jamison, William, Caleigh and Austin.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, March 14 at 12 pm at Paul Funeral Home.
