Departed: 05/17/2024 (Massillon)
Obituary Preview: Pamela Dee Carpenter, 68, passed away on May 17, 2024. She was born on July 28, 1955 in Massillon, Ohio where she remained as a lifelong resident.
Pamela worked in banking for over 40 years, retiring from KeyBank. She has an exemplary work ethic and attendance record. Countless customers would ask specifically for her, her attention to each and everyone was detailed and thorough. She was a 1973 graduate of Jackson High School. In 1994, she bought her own home independently and never asked or needed anyone to achieve that goal.
My sister Pam/Pammy was one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and loving people I have ever known.. And I was blessed to have had her in my life. She always looked out for me. When my children; Ebonie, Jarrod, Devin, then grandson chance came along, Pammy was like a second mother to them. We meant the world to her, and she meant the world to us.
Our blended family members in Kent/Ravenna have been blessings as well. Pam remembered everyone with her “Hallmark” cards.
Pam was loved by so many caring friends, family members, etc. down to little Finn and Nora.
Pamela was strong, independent, private and stubborn. We are heartbroken to have lost her. I truly feel as though I have lost a part of myself. We will see her again in Heaven one day, God’s Grace was clearly evident through all this. Special thanks to those who assisted with her care at Aultman Woodlawn Hospice. God Bless you.
Donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 12:00pm and burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
