Raymond A. Keplar, 83, Santa Fe, Missouri formerly of Centralia, MO passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 6, 1940, in El Dorado, KS the son of the late Arthur and Martha (Travnicek) Keplar. He first was united in marriage to Patricia (Ramsey), later he married Ruth Jean (Baldwin) and finally he reunited back to his first wife Pat.
In addition to his wife Pat, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons Steve Keplar and his wife LeAnn of Council Grove, KS and Ray Keplar of Centralia, MO; two daughters Annie Clair of Salina, KS and Gina Keplar of Paris, MO; one step daughter Pamela Ford and her husband John of Pratt, KS; one sister Karen Klassen of Augusta, KS; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, eleven brothers and sisters; a stepdaughter Debbie; a granddaughter Randi a grandson Steven and Ruth Jean Keplar preceded him in death.
Ray worked for KG&E Power in Wichita, KS for 12 years. Then he accepted a job with A.B. Chance Co. to travel internationally where he went to 32 different countries. After his international work, he returned home to work domestically for A.B. Chance Company until his retirement in 2002. Later he owned and operated his own company Kep’s Training for several years. He was a member of the Centralia Country Club and enjoyed golf, woodworking, yardwork and spending time with his friends and family. Per family request, casual dress is recommended.

Glenda owned and operated her own pharmacy for several years and later worked for AAI. She enjoyed reading, gardening, fishing and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

He was born March 25, 1942, in the Sturgeon / Clark area, the son of the late William R. and Marjorie A. (Gardner) Wisdom. On June 14, 1963, he was united in marriage to Carolyn (Comer) Wisdom.
In addition to his wife Carolyn of 60 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Lisa Dickey and her husband Ben of Centralia, MO; one son Harlan Wisdom and his wife Kelli of Centralia, MO; one brother Darrell Bosworth and his wife Kim of Martinsburg, MO; four sisters Glenda Ramsey and her husband Mike of the state of Wyoming, Nona Woolfolk of the state of Florida, Teresa Tainter and her husband Quentin of Centralia, MO and Joyce Wisdom of Bowling Green, MO; five grandchildren Justin Wisdom and his wife Nicole, Josh Wisdom, Lakin Boyce and her husband Chris, Cory Dickey and Taylor Dickey and his wife Rachel; six great grandchildren Layla, Evelynn, Jaxstyn, Cora, Eli and Logan; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, his sister Linda Wisdom preceded him in death.
Billy worked as a truck driver for many years. He drove for several companies and later owned and operated his own trucking company. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting and target shooting. Billy loved spending time with his friends and family, especially all his grandchildren. In addition to his wife Caroline of 67 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Christina Mollmon of Lona, OK; one sister Dorothy Null of St. Louis, MO; one grandson Christopher Sulek; nieces and nephews Mike Hargis and his wife Christy of Clark, MO, Randy Hargis and his wife Betty of Hillsboro, MO, Pam Vaughan of Columbia, MO, Tim Hargis and his wife Karrie of Kansas City, MO and Jim Richmond and his wife Kay of Hermann, MO; several great and great great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. Jack served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He first worked delivering newspapers in St. Louis, later he worked numerous odd jobs and finally he owned and operated his own dairy farm for many years in Clark, MO. He was a member of VFW Post 6276 and enjoyed playing poker, hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, yard work, especially cutting grass and spending time with his friends and family. A graveside service will be 1:30 pm Sunday, February 25, 2024, at the Chapel Grove Cemetery near Clark, MO. Donna Jean Bryson, 88, of Centralia Missouri passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the Stuart House in Centralia Missouri. She was born on July 19, 1935, in Hannibal, Missouri, the daughter of the late Otis and Sadie Robertson McDonald.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Jerri Johnson and her husband Garry of Columbia, MO and Marsha Stout and her husband Rick of Sturgeon, MO and her son, Darren Bryson of Centralia, MO, five grandchildren, Jacob and his wife Jessica, Lacey and her husband Brad, Logan, Chelsea and fiancée Lucas, and Caleb. Ten great grandchildren, Haleigh, Gabby, Michael, Caleb, Layla, Sophie, Zoe, Bodie, Joaquin, and Clover. Several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Kelly Eugene Bybee, her granddaughter, Jessica Gerken, and one brother, Duane McDonald. Donna was a spunky little lady that not only loved her family immensely, but everyone she met. Throughout her life she sold Stanley products, worked at Bryson Repair, several restaurants, and even bartended–although she never drank. Later, she worked at 3M where she retired early because she refused to continue working on Sabbath after rediscovering her love for Jesus and rejoining the Sunnydale Seventh-day Adventist church. She retired again from the Centralia Country Club when she was 80. Always a servant at heart, she ironed for several family and friends until two weeks before going to the Stuart House in 2021. Donna would help anyone who asked her–whether that be getting up at five in the morning to go pick up someone and take them to work or doing whatever anyone needed. If you asked her, if it was at all possible, she would help you. But most of all, she shared the love of Jesus with everyone she met. She lived a full life loving others. She passed away on Valentine’s Day with both her immediate family and her Stuart House family by her side. Upon hearing of her passing a dear friend remarked, “she passed on an appropriate day, as everyone loved her.”
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Sunnydale Seventh-day Adventist Church near Centralia, Missouri at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons Mike Morehead of the Florida Keys and Jeff Morehead and his wife Lura Briscoe of Steamboat Springs, CO; one daughter Michelle Gibler and her husband Nelson of Centralia, MO; two grandchildren Brice Gibler and his wife Becca Holley, and Paige Clark and her husband Gavin; three great-grandchildren Gage, Elliott and Boone; several nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, two dear sisters Judy Kay Barklage and Jo Anne Mutersbaugh preceded her in death.
Libby started her teaching career at Bryan School, the same one-room rural school she had attended for eight years as a student in Paris, MO. Soon after, she married her high school sweetheart, “Sonny” Morehead, and they relocated to the Chicago area to teach and raise their family. After separation, Libby returned to the area to teach in Moberly, Centralia, and Paris. She enjoyed photography, sewing, and reading. Libby was a passionate geocacher, where she located over 3,000 caches nationwide. She was a gifted life-long learner who loved exploring and adopted cutting-edge technology with vigor. “Liberated Libby” was truly a woman before her time. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her mother Jackie Creason of Boonville, MO; three sons James Colbert and his wife Gaby of St. Joseph, MO, Ryen Reynolds and his former wife Emily of Versailles, MO and Ian Patrick McDaniel of the State of Virginia; one daughter Julie Colbert of Destin, FL; one brother Rex Rains and his wife Cathy of St. Louis, MO; three sisters Connie Swartz of Sturgeon, MO, Janene Stover of Boonville, MO and Teresa Vollrath and Huber Stover of Boonville, MO; twelve grandchildren Kristopher, Dylan, Katelyn and her husband Suk, Tyler, Jacob and his wife Elizabeth, Allyson, Haley, Rebekah, Haley, Brycen, Hunter and Taylor; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her husband, one great granddaughter Elina Grace and her grandparents Noma and Jacob Fry preceded her in death.
Vicki loved being a nurse. She worked as a nurse for the Stover School District and later at a nursing home in Stover MO. In 1964 Nancy was united in marriage to Wayne Nichols, who also has preceded her in death in 2000. Nancy was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby John Wyatt, and her youngest daughter, Kimberly Jo Nichols.
Nancy will be sadly missed but lovingly always remembered by her oldest daughter, Cindy Morris, wife of Joe, of Centralia, MO; her five grandchildren, Ashley Miller, Amy Jo, Sara Beth, Katie Lynn and Renick Micheal. Nancy was very special and also loved deeply by her 11 great grandchildren.
Nancy was a homemaker and enjoyed making and selling crafts with her husband. She loved music and going to garage sales. Her family was precious to her, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Centralia city Cemetery in Centralia, MO. He was born April 19, 1936, in Radnor, West Virginia, the son of the late Benjamin F. and Stella (Rice) Curnutte. Bob graduated from Wayne High School in Wayne, WV, later he attended Echols College of Mortuary Science in Philadelphia, PA and he studied and took several courses at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. He was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Helen P. (Pat) Curnutte on September 24, 1955, in the First Methodist Church in Wayne, WV.
In addition to his wife Pat of 68 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son Robert L. Curnutte, Jr. of Columbia, MO; one daughter Cynthia Neff and her husband Steve of Columbia, MO; two grandchildren Mason Neff and Meagan Pruett; two great grandchildren Nora Neff and Leah Neff; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, three brothers preceded him in death.
Bob first worked as a funeral director and embalmer for several funeral homes in three different states. Later he worked as an administrator of several nursing homes and finally was the Chairman of the Virginia Health Care Association. He was a member of the Optimist Club and the Tennessee Society of St. Louis. He enjoyed tennis, golf, reading, travelling, and spending time with his friends, family and his dog. Graveside services will be 3:30 pm Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery near Sturgeon, MO. Donna Jean Stillman, 86, Centralia, MO passed away peacefully at her home with her 3 children by her side on January 9, 2024, after a brief fight with cancer. Donna was born August 25, 1937, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Benjamin J. Blair and the late Eva May (Thompson) Blair. She graduated from East High School in Kansas City in 1955. On December 17, 1954, she was united in marriage to Richard Stillman, Sr. and became a military wife. She loved the military life, and it never left her heart. She worked at Centralia Cleaners for 22 years until her retirement.
Anyone who met Donna knew she was a life-long avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Her family knew not to plan anything on a Sunday when her beloved Chiefs were playing. She also enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and other birds, especially after filling the bird-bath with water. She enjoyed reading, putting puzzles together, and she played a mean game of rummy. However, her greatest joy came from her children and grandchildren. She loved them dearly. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Debbie Branson of Fulton, MO and Dori (Tony) Burke of Columbia, MO; her son Rick Stillman, Jr. of St. Charles, MO; her six grandchildren Ricky (Billie) Branson, Monica (James) Ramer of Ashland, MO, Anthony Burke and Alex Burke both of Columbia, MO, Becky (Robert) Hill of New Bloomfield, MO and Kim (Matt) Oligschlaeger of St. Elizabeth, MO; her 12 great grandchildren Madalynn, Kaitlynn, Robert, Evalynn, Riley, Jaxx, Kynadie (Trevor), Shelby, Addie, Colby, Meranda (Shawn) and Brooke (Connor); 1 great-great granddaughter Rylan Grace and a great-great grandson, Walker Lee who is due in May 2024. She also leaves behind many friends, including very special friends Laurie Anzaldua and Patty Rios of the State of Texas. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank J. Blair, her granddaughter Natalie Lynn Burke and her son-in-law Bill Branson and her beloved cat “Sugar.” “She was kind, she was smart, and she was important.” Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Betty worked in several factories and retired from A.B. Chance Co. after 30 years. She was a member of several camping organizations and was a campground host for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. She enjoyed camping, baking, painting, fishing, birdwatching and travelling to the Lake of the Ozarks. She loved her dogs and spending time with her friends and family. Rob served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a quality assurance supervisor for AB Chance Co. and later for Hubbell Power Systems. He was a member of the Centralia Church of Christ and enjoyed all sports, Nascar, playing baseball, coaching baseball, and golfing. Rob loved to sing and loved spending time with his friends and family. A celebration of life will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the Centralia Church Of Christ in Centralia, MO. She was born June 10, 1940, in Mexico, MO the daughter of the late Hobert and Mary (Lewis) George. On July 25, 1958, she was united in marriage to James A. “Bud” Richards.
In addition to her husband Bud of 65 years, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four sons Terry Richards and his wife Jean of Smithville, TX, Randy Richards and Carol of Centralia, MO, James Scott Richards and his wife Delia of Kansas City, KS and Mark Richards and his wife Cassie of Gallatin, MO; four daughters Robin King and Tim of Elgin, TX, Penny Vanlandingham of Clark, MO, Lisa Paige and John of Sturgeon, MO and Michelle Richards and Thomas of Columbia, MO; two sisters Phyllis George-Smith of Hannibal, MO and Karen Abbott of Sedalia, MO; 18 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents a son in law Jack Vanlandingham preceded her in death.
Marlyn first worked at State Farm Insurance, later as a Ward Clerk at Samaritan Hospital in Macon, MO and finally she owned and operated her own daycare in Texas. She was a past member of Mexico First Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to his wife Marie of 46 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by five sons Dennis Trew, David Trew and his wife Brenda of Sunfield, MI, Gary Trew of Hollister, MO, Roger Pryor and his wife Pam of Mead, OK and Richard Pryor and his wife Lisa of Hallsville, MO; one daughter Lorene Rousch of Hollister, MO; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. Richard first served his country in the United States Navy from 1949 to 1950. Later he served in the United States Army during the Korean War where he received a Purple Heart. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and enjoyed woodworking, refurnishing furniture and loved working with his hands. Richard loved his family, his country and most of all his Lord. He was a man of great faith. Two of his last words spoken were, "It's beautiful." In addition to his wife Joan of 12 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter Jill (husband Kurt) Fansler with their children Hunter, Addison and Hayden Fansler; his son Carl (fiancé Ashley) Linnenbringer; a step-son Darrell Huskey with daughter Audri Huskey; his siblings include Hadley (Lynn) Linnenbringer, Sylvia (Phil) Glenn, Hershel (Betty) Linnenbringer, and Jayne Elaine (Robert) Walker; along with numerous cousins; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. Gary earned his Animal Husbandry degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1972. There he was active in Alpha Gamma Sigma fraternity. Gary was a member of the Agricultural Leaders of Tomorrow (ALOT) class, served on North Callaway School Board, as a volunteer for the North Callaway fire department and was an employee at Columbia Livestock Auction and an agent director for Farmers Mutual Insurance Company. Gary ran for public office with the slogan 'Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.' Randy Pauley, age 67, passed away quietly on November 9 in his home from Chronic Kidney Disease. He was a 1974 graduate of Centralia High School having continued on from there to Hawkeye Institute for Photography in Waterloo, IA. Randy worked for 25 years with 3M Company in Columbia, Missouri having left to fulfill a lifelong dream, with his wife of having his own photography studio, Mirror Images Photography in Centralia, Missouri. After 15 years in the retail business, Randy rejoined the workforce and was a forklift operator for Hubbell Power Systems, while he and his wife raised three grandkids for the next 9 years. Randy retired from Hubbell after ten years of service.
Randy is best known for his passion for fishing, camping, his love of photography and shooting cannons at Living History Reenactments. As a boy scout, Randy got the itch for photography by making his first camera from a coffee can. His father built him a dark room in their home garage and his eye for still life grew from there. He went on to freelance for the local newspaper at the time, the Centralia Guard and was the staff photographer for the yearbook during Jr. High and High School. Later, while working at 3M, he partnered with a co-worker and they had a small photography studio in Columbia, Reflections Photography, where Randy was the wedding photographer. Later he and his wife owned the studio in Centralia. Randy was a very accomplished photographer, winning many awards for his work and creativity, plus earning Director positions on two state photography organizations.
Randy is survived by his wife, Sheila of 36 years, two daughters from a previous marriage, Kristin Wilson (and Bobby) of Fulton, Missouri, Nicole King (and Mark) of Mexico, Missouri, a stepson, Reece Strawn of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and son, Roman Pauley (and Kari Malwitz) of Columbia, Missouri. Randy is also survived by his mother, Patricia Pauley and a brother, Rodney Pauley. Randy had nine grandchildren - Caleb King, Mackenzie Wilson, Robbie Wilson, Austyn Culwell, Hunter Strawn, Fisher Strawn, Trapper Strawn, Debin Lewis and Elora Danon Malwitz. He is also survived by one great-grandchild, plus nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Molly Pauley and father, William N. Pauley.

Chance Plastics Plant, retired Centralia Rural Mail Carrier, 30 year breeder of America Quarter Horses, and a Car Salesman for Forest Chevrolet-Oldsmobile He loved going to the Centralia Panthers Football team games, taking care of his horses, attending horse shows and spending time with his family and friends.
