George W Robbins - April 21, 1943 - May 14, 2024

Departed: 05/14/2024 (Manchester)
Obituary Preview: In loving memory of George (Bill) W. Robbins, who peacefully departed this world at Community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey, after bravely facing a brief battle with leukemia. Born on April 21, 1943, to George William Robbins and Dorothy Robbins in Dover, NJ, George, affectionately known as Bill, spent his formative years in Denville, New Jersey.
Following his high school graduation, Bill enlisted in the Marine Corps, serving his country with honor and dedication. Stationed in California and Puerto Rico, he forged lifelong bonds and cherished memories during his military service. Transitioning to civilian life, Bill pursued his own business in flooring installations, a profession he excelled in until his well-deserved retirement.
An avid enthusiast of bowling and fishing from a young age, Bill's passion for angling remained a constant throughout his life. He derived immense joy from sharing his expertise with his grandsons, fostering their love for fishing. His cherished moments in Vermont, spent alongside dear friend Jimmy, epitomized his love for the sport.
Bill's commitment to sobriety spanned over half a century, as a dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Through his role as a sponsor, he touched countless lives, offering support and guidance to those battling addiction. His steadfast dedication to the principles of AA formed the cornerstone of many enduring friendships.
Bill's legacy is carried on by his daughter Erin, son-in-law JJ, and four adoring grandchildren: Jackson, Miles, Teddy, and Ella. He found boundless joy in nurturing their interests and celebrating their milestones. His pride in their accomplishments knew no bounds, from teaching Jackson to fish to cheering on Teddy at wrestling tournaments, watching endless videos of Miles swimming and spoiling his baby girl Ella.
In April 2023, Bill endured the heartache of losing his beloved son Jonathan Robbins. Despite this profound loss, he found solace in the unwavering support of cherished friends like Joey B, Jimmy, Brian and Debbie. Friends who supported him endlessly over the last most difficult year.
As we fondly remember Bill, let us honor his memory by supporting the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society in lieu of flowers. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. George W. Robbins will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Cameron McPartlin - June 11, 1961 - May 08, 2024

Departed: 05/08/2024 (Manchester)
Obituary Preview: Cameron “Randy” McPartlin, 62, of Lakehurst, New Jersey, passed away on May 8, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born in Buffalo, New York to Jack and Carol McPartlin on June 11, 1961, though he spent most of his life in Jackson, New Jersey. After graduating from Jackson Memorial High School in 1979, he followed the family trend starting his career as a Union Carpenter with Local 2250 (now known as Local 255) where he worked for over 35 years. After his retirement in 2016, he moved to Lakehurst to be closer to his children and grandchildren.
He enjoyed traveling to see family and friends, riding his motorcycle, and hanging out in his garage sharing a beer with good company. His main focus in life was his children, whom he was incredibly proud of. He was blessed to have seen them all get married and have children of their own.
He taught them so much, from changing the oil in their car to building a house. Among many things, they will miss his home-cooked, hand delivered pasta dinners, his “get ‘er done” attitude when one of them needed a project completed (often showing up unprompted and offering his classic saying, “Let's gooooooooo"), and enjoying a NASCAR race on Sundays. The grandchildren will miss going to PopPop's house for goodies, which he always kept fully stocked, and his never-ending creativity in finding ways to entertain them.
Randy lived a great life; he lived it the way he wanted and left the same way. “When it’s my time to go, it's my time to go,” he would say.
Every time we hear a motorcycle drive by, we will think of Dad.
Randy was predeceased by his parents Jack & Carol McPartlin, brother Michael McPartlin, his brother-in-law Ron Cook, and his in-laws Kenneth and Lucy Decher. He is survived and will be terribly missed by his children, Casey McPartlin (Ashley), Megan Seibert (William) and Patrick McPartlin (Shayna), grandchildren, William Jr., Cameron, Raegan, Daniel, Ruby and Henry, brothers, Dennis McPartlin (Linda), Neal McPartlin (Donna), sister, Jayne Cook, mother of his children Karen McPartlin, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as his beloved dog Piper and many lifelong friends.
Visitation is Thursday, May 16th from 4:00-8:00PM with a 7:00PM service at Oliverie Funeral Home, 125 S Cooks Bridge Road, Jackson, New Jersey. Cremation will be private.
