Tobrina Brook Breitbarth - January 22, 1999 - February 10, 2022

Departed: 02/10/2022 (Myrtle Beach)
Obituary Preview: Tobrina was born in Michigan City, IN on January 22, 1999, to Robert Lee Jackson, Jr. and Wendy Nadine Archer Jackson. She spent most of her early childhood in South Bend, IN where she began elementary school, but moved to Myrtle Beach, SC with her family at the age of 8 where she continued school in Forestbrook and Socastee. Tobrina left high school during her sophomore year to stay home and care for her ailing mother, and shortly after, returned to LaPorte, IN with her mother and father at the age of 15, where she continued to care for her mother. When her mother’s health began improving, Tobrina began working outside of the home at a factory in LaPorte where she met the love of her life and future husband, Ashton Breitbarth, at the age of 19. She and Ashton were married in a small ceremony in LaPorte, IN on May 28, 2019, and soon after welcomed their first baby, Joseph Allen Breitbarth in LaPorte on October 8, 2019. A few months after the birth of her first child, in February of 2020, she and her family, including her brother, Kyler Jackson, and sister-in-law, Selena Rivera, decided to move back to Myrtle Beach, SC in pursuit of a better life for herself and her family. Shortly after moving she happily welcomed her brother’s first son, her nephew, Kahlil Jackson, into the family.
Tobrina was a stay-at-home mom while occasionally helping out with her sister and brother-in-law, Emigh and Issaka Ibrahim’s, local family businesses. She gave birth to her 2nd son, Nathaniel Austin Breitbarth on October 26, 2021, who is 4 months old today. She found her niche as a stay-at-home mom, taking care of her family day and night, which was the most important part of her life. She supported her husband’s efforts to advance in his career as a technician at her sister and brother-in-law, Emigh and Issaka’s, auto garage. Tobrina and Ashton were in the process of looking for their first family home and were planning to buy in the coming months. She was ecstatic at the idea of her babies having the freedom to roam safely outside and for the family to have a place to call their own. She was also doing online classes to obtain her high school diploma and planned to go on to train as a nail technician with the prospect of owning her own nail salon one day soon.
Of all her immediate and extended family, Tobrina was the most kind, most thoughtful, most generous and most caring.
