Age 92, passed away November 22, 2019 in Fort Myers, FL formerly of Torrington, CT.
Skip was the wife of the late Ellsworth A. Tofield and pre-deceased by her siblings Franklin, Melvin and Ruth and her long-time companion Robert.
She loved spending time with her family and she will be missed by all who loved her.
She leaves behind her three loving daughters: Karen T Paganini (David), Candace T Barr (Robert) and Kathy T. Johnson (Brandon). Her seven grandchildren and their spouses: Leslie Fenn (Jamie), Kelly Curtiss-Longi (Bill), Jeff Grammatica (Jackie), Kim Mallett (Jarrett), Brandon Johnson (Kristin), Taylor Johnson and Jordan Johnson -who believes he was the favorite (Diana). Ten great grandchildren: Christopher, Marcus, Grace, Jillian, Harrison, Brockton, Bryce, Jordan, Layla and Julian whom she adored and who lovingly bestowed the name Gigi to her; along with several nieces and nephews.
Skip also leaves behind her wonderful, caring friends with whom she had great times throughout her entire life. The beach, card games, baseball games, lunches, dinners, Dewar’s, winning the title “Farkle Queen” were just a few of the many things they all did together. She enjoyed all of them and they made her days full and happy.
She attended Litchfield Schools and graduated Litchfield High School.
She was employed at the Torrington Company for 30 years.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Torrington - Rosalie N. Fritch, 89, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. She was the wife of the late Hugh Fritch for 57 years. Rosalie was born on October 5, 1929 in Torrington, CT to the late Arthur C. and Irene Pond Newport. She was raised by her father and stepmother, Elizabeth Newport Pettigrew, after the passing of her mother in 1932.
Rosalie attended local schools and graduated from Torrington High School in 1947. She was trained at the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Brooklyn, NY, where she worked as an RN in the newborn nursery for three years before returning to Torrington.
She followed her husband, Hugh, to Guam for two years where he was serving in the U. S. Navy. Upon her return to Torrington she worked as a private-hire nurse, for several convalescent homes and at the Forman School infirmary in Litchfield.
Rosalie was a life-long member of the United Methodist Church in Torrington and a volunteer for the Red Cross Blood Mobile. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and travelling. Her dog Polly brought great joy to her life.
Rosalie is survived by her three sons and their families; Kevin and Lynne of Uncasville, Lawrence and his wife Susan of Old Lyme and William of Harwinton, five grandsons; Travis Gracewski and his wife Jennifer, Seth and his wife Melissa, Justin, Eric and Karl Fritch and three great grandchildren; Bradley, Caroline and Benjamin.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 9:30-11:00am at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield, CT. A service will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, 76 Walnut Street, Torrington.

Charles E. White - August 25, 1927 - September 03, 2018

Obituary Preview: Charles E. “Chuck” White, 244 Forest Street, Torrington, Connecticut, passed away on September 3, 2018 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was 91 years of age. Chuck was born on August 25, 1927, the son of John J. and Selma Abrahamson White. He was the husband of Jeanne “Chris” Bitzer White, who passed away on April 14, 1991, after 43 years of marriage. Chuck retired from The Torrington Company in 1992. He was a member of Center Congregational Church, Torrington for sixty-nine years in 2012. Previous to working at the Torrington Company, he worked for his dad, John J. White Plumbing and Heating Co. and ran said business until 1966. In 1967 through 1969, Chuck was Lead Singer of the “Torringtones”, a barber shop quartet, consisting of Bob Doyle, Mickey Seiser and Ray Doolittle.
Chuck’s sister, Ethel Iffland, passed away in September 2012 and her husband, Ralph Iffland, passed away in December 2013. Chuck leaves three son’s and their wives, Kevin White, and daughter, Meghan, of Norwood, Colorado, Ralph and Lynn White of Eustis, Florida, John and Judy White of Portales, New Mexico and a daughter and her husband, Ellen and Joseph Baron of Burlington, Conn. He also leaves five granddaughters, two grandsons and six great grandchildren. The love of his life, Marie Thompson, his significant other for fourteen years, passed away on November 10, 2008.
Chuck served in the U.S. Army in 1946, 1947, 1948, in the Military Police, Los Alamos, New Mexico, The Manhattan Project and received commendations from President Harry Truman, and from Susan Bysiewicz, former Conn. Secretary of State.
Chuck is sad to leave, his love, Marie Thompson’s, three sons, and one daughter, her nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren who always treated him as one of their family. Chuck adored his loving, affectionate companionship with Marie from 1995 until her passing in 2008.
Chuck also leaves a dear and wonderful friend, Anne O’Brien, his former Choir Director at Center Congregational Church, and the members of Center Church Choir.
Chuck thanks our Heavenly Father for a wonderful, long life filled with fond memories, a fantastic family, and many, many great friendships.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 10 am, on Saturday, September 8, at Hillside Cemetery, Walnut Street, Torrington. There are no calling hours.

She was a graduate of Litchfield High School, class of 1935. Dolly was married to the late Raymond H. Perregaux for 66 years.Dolly was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church Altar Guild, Brooks-Green Woods Chapter, NSDAR and the Pierpont Chapter #49 Order of Eastern Star. She was also active in the Litchfield County Extension, Girl Scouts of America and 4-H Clubs. Over the last fifteen years, Dolly spent many Fridays quilting with the ladies of the Four Corner Circle group at First Congregational Church.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 220 Prospect Street, Torrington, CT 06790. Private burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.

Obituary Preview: Barbara Jane Stafford, New Hartford, 88, passed away on November 28, 2016 after a short stay at Valerie Manor. She was born on June 26, 1928.
She grew up in Torrington attending the local schools. However, summers were spent living at Bantam Lake with her Mom, Dad and six siblings. The cottage on Bantam became a gathering place for the entire family as the siblings became adults and had their own families. Barbara held onto the love of the lake her entire life – in the last few years enjoying a car ride to view the water.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband, William Stafford. They had been dmarried over 50 years, living in the house they built in Bakersville the entire time.
Barbara and Bill had four children. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Steeves and husband John of New Hartford, and two sons, Gary Stafford and wife Maria of Morris, and Mark Stafford and wife Debora of Torrington. She was predeceased by their daughter, Heidi, who was born in 1971 and had a short life of a few days.
Barbara was known as Nanny to her four grandchildren, Aron Steeves, Brett Steeves, Alexander Stafford, and Chelsea Stafford. She also had the joy of having eight great grandchildren.
Barbara was employed at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital for many years as a medical transcriptionist before she retired. Music filled her life as she served as organist and choir director at the Bakersville Methodist Church and then joined the choir at First United Methodist Church in Torrington. She also was a member of Sweet Adelines, a woman's barbershop singing group. Barbara and Bill loved camping and traveled extensively up and down the east coast – towing their home behind them.
A celebration of life will be celebrated on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 12:00pm at the First United Methodist Church, 21 Fern Drive, Torrington, CT 06790.

Christine was born on June 13, 1970 in Danbury, CT to Denis Champagne and the late Renette (Courturier) Champagne of Middlebury, CT.
Christine fought a life long battle with Cerebral Palsy. Christine will be missed and loved by the excellent staff and extended family at Community Residence at Spencer Hill in Winsted, CT and Ann's Nursery in Norfolk, CT. The staff at Spencer Hill was able to share a little bit of Christine’s personality, she was comical and loving. She loved all types of music and was mesmerized by bright vibrant colors. Christine’s giggle and laugh was infectious. Christine continued her mission in life to leave behind her legacy and memories for her family to carry forward. “Children with disabilities are like butterflies with a broken wing. They are as beautiful as all the rest, but need a little help spreading their wings.”
Christine is survived by two brothers Bryan Champagne and his wife Terise Champagne, nephew Alexavier Champagne, and nieces Angel and Kristena Champagne of Rocky Hill, CT and Kevin Champagne of Middlebury, CT, nephews Zachary and Nathan Champagne. Chrsitine is also survived by a large family in Connecticut, Quebec and New Brunswick Canada.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm at Rowe Funeral Home 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. A private funeral service and burial will take place in Canada at the convenience of the family.

Goshen- Marjorie Wadhams, 99, of Beach Street, Goshen died on September 8th at her family home. She was the wife of 68 years of the late Fredric D. Wadhams as well as the loving and devoted mother of three, grandmother of nine and great grandmother of 18.
Marge was born in West Goshen on May 18, 1916, daughter of Alfred Howe Wright and Anna Ackerman Wright and was a proud lifelong resident of Goshen.
The three hallmarks of her well-lived life were: devotion to family, church and community. Marge was a lifelong active member of the Church of Christ Congregational where she served as a deaconess, Sunday school teacher and member of the Women’s Fellowship. While her husband Fred was credited with starting the church’s Annual Blueberry Festival fundraiser 42 years ago, Marge could always be found in the kitchen turning out thousands of pies and muffins.
She was a Cub Scout den mother, member of the Goshen Grange and Goshen Garden Club as well as a volunteer with Goshen’s Community Care and Hospice’s home again program. She served for many years on the Goshen Agricultural Society’s adult baking committee and was a bakery judge for the Connecticut Agriculture Fair.
Marjorie was predeceased by her sister Ruth Wright Birmingham and her brother Alfred Henry Wright. She is survived by her sister Eunice Ann Wright of Daly City, California.
Her children are David A. Wadhams and his wife Nancy of Avon, Dale Wadhams Ives and her husband Robert and Fredric W. Wadhams and his wife Darleene of Goshen.
The quintessential mother, homemaker, caregiver, knitter, cook and baker, she happily passed on many of her skills to the next generations.
The family wishes to express its appreciation to her caregivers Ann Marie Sterling and Martine Bouton for their exceptional attention for the past three years.

Ed was born in Hudson, New York, on March 19, 1928, one of thirteen children of the late Elbert Sr. and Evelyn (Shufelt) Becker.
Ed was a retiree of the Torrington Casting Company, where he worked for 49 years in machine setup.
He is survived by stepchildren, Karen Gardener and her husband, Charles, Ronald Avallone and his wife, Mary, and Robert Avallone and his wife, Wendy; two sisters, Juanita Sieller and her husband, Robert, and Evelyn Bergs and her husband, Ansis; a brother, Wayne Becker; two sisters-in-law, Norma Becker and Charlyne Becker; four grandchildren, Dawn, R.J., Courtney, and Sarah; and many nieces and nephews.
Ed was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters, Betty Leichner, Elbert Becker, Mildred Weigold, Beatrice Becker, Alvaretta Murray, Blanche Yancik, Grover Becker, Reginald Becker and Linda Dick.
All are invited to attend a Prayer Service at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 8, at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial will be private.

She was the mother of daughters Lynda J. Hylander of Kaneohe, HI, Barbara A. “Bambi” Hammarstrom of Ipswich, MA and the late Susan Lee Hammarstrom DeLise. She was sister to Reverend Dr. Remington E. Rose-Crossley of Sewanee, TN.
Barbara was also grandmother of Devon E. Hylander and David A. Hylander of Phoenix, AZ and Dulci Lee Chamberlain of Lyndhurst, NJ. and great-grandmother to Parker Rae and Luke Edward Hylander of Phoenix, AZ.
Barbara Hammarstrom was a resident of Geer Village, N. Canaan, Connecticut and long time resident of Goshen, CT. She was a member of Goshen Congregational Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Founder of the Goshen Quilt Project. She served in Goshen as Registrar of Voters, Elections Moderator, Chairperson of Agricultural Society, member of Recreation Commission and a Justice of the Peace.
A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at Geer Village, 77 S. Canaan Rd., N. Canaan, CT at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, with interment service at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, N.J. at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2013.

Jim died peacefully in the Supportive Care Unit at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington, Ct., on Saturday December 8, 2012 with his devoted wife, Marie, and best friend, Santo, at his side.
Jim was born in Paris, France on October 14, 1959, to John and the late Babette (Schneider) Zielke. Jim lived in Oklahoma from his early years until he graduated from Altus High School. Jim then attended Albertus Magnus earning degrees in Business Administration and Science Management. His love for aerospace and engineering led him to get his degree in Engineering at The University of Memphis. Jim worked at Pratt & Whitney Cheshire plant for 12 years as an engineer in various departments.
Jim lived life to it its fullest, he loved to sail his boat, snow and water ski, and most of all enjoyed the outdoors.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Marie; daughter, Brittany Zielke; parents, John and Jean Zielke; sister, Diane (Zielke) and husband, Tommy Jackson, nieces, Adrienne Griffin and son, Collin, Nicole Capehart and husband, Joe and children, Sara and Coy, and Alexandra Jackson; stepdaughter, Janelle (Howe) and husband, John Carroll; step-granddaughter, Jane; stepson, Brian Howe; and most of all his devoted companions, Buster and Tiffany.
He was predeceased by his mother, Babette and best companion, DE-DE.

She is survived by her very dear and devoted son, J. Fenton Williams of Brookfield and Torrington. She is also survived by her brother, Harry Monroe Smith, Jr. of New Hartford; a niece, Mary Sen; and three cousins, Janet McDonald of California, Arthur Boynton of New Hampshire and Robert Ainsworth’s widow, Virginia, of Colorado.
Harriett was predeceased by a brother, Darius of New Hartford and a nephew, James Monroe Smith.
She spent her early years in New Hartford. She graduated from The Gilbert School in 1935 and Smith College in 1939. After her marriage in 1949, she moved to Torrington.
Harriett was a member of the Trinity Church Altar Guild, Marana Norton Brooks Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, Torrington Historical Society, Torrington Women’s Club, and Women’s College Club of Litchfield County. She was also a docent at the Hotchkiss Fyler House.
After graduating from Smith College and before marriage, she was a legal secretary in the law firm of Alcorn, Bakewell and Alcorn in Hartford.

Obituary Preview: TORRINGTON - Nellie (Gelormino) Saporite died peacefully in the Supportive Care Unit at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on Monday, November 12, 2012. She was 89 years old.
A life-long Torrington resident, Nellie was born on June 13, 1923 to first generation Italian immigrants, Carmine and Angelina (Maraia) Gelormino. She worked at the Torrington Company and later provided private domestic and laundry services for several families in the area. She also served as a volunteer for Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and LARC. A lifelong member of Center Congregational Church, she was a member of various groups and gave of her time, talents and treasure whenever possible. She is probably best known for being the consummate mother, a hard worker, and one rapt in the love of family.
Nellie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Jim Garfield, and sisters Rose Gelormino, Caroline Senzamici, and Tillie Roy, all of Torrington. She was predeceased by her husband, Leslie “Lolly” Saporite, her brother Anthony “Tony” Gelormino, and sisters Fannie Killiany and Violet Gelormino.
Private funeral services have been entrusted to Rowe Funeral Home at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to Center Congregational Church, Inc., 155 Main St., Torrington, CT 06790.

GOSHEN - Harriette Frink Gifford, 85, of 64 Old Middle Street, widow of Robert Rynex Gifford, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at her home after a brief illness.
Harriette was born in Great Barrington, MA May 4, 1927, daughter of the late Harry and Edna Frink and sister of the late E. Louise Frink.
Harriette attended Housatonic Valley Regional High School. She was employed by the Town of Goshen in several positions, including town assessor for a number of years. Harriette was an active member of The Goshen Agricultural Society serving as chair of the cattle committee, treasurer, and Director for 20 years. In addition, she was a 4-H leader for many years and always took an active interest in agricultural events. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Torrington.
Harriette is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Gifford of Goshen, CT, Judith Gifford and her partner, Robert Fry, of Kennedyville, MD, and Barbara Hubbard and her husband, Gene; and granddaughter, Mallory Hubbard of Torrington, CT.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at the First Congregational Church, 835 Riverside Avenue, Torrington.

He retired from the American Brass, Co. and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife Claire, Ken is survived by three sons; Delbert, Jeffrey and Kenneth, Jr and a daughter Carol Gesmondi and her husband Steve, all of Torrington, a brother William Roe and his wife Debbie, of Las Vegas, a sister, Sara Bourgoin of New Jersey, two grandsons; Seth and Mitchell Gesmondi and two granddaughters; Rachel and Abby Roe.
The Roe family would like to extend a special thank- you to the staff at Torrington Health and Rehab for the care that they provided for Ken.

TORRINGTON – Adelaide Elizabeth Batterton, 91, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2012. She was the wife of the late James C. Batterton.
Born in Windsor, Conn., on August 6, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Stark) Koget. She was raised in Wilson, Conn., lived in Bethlehem, Conn. for 40 years and spent the last 13 years living in Torrington, Conn.
She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at The Lutheran Home in Southbury, Conn.
Mrs. Batterton is survived by her sons and their wives, James Jr. and Janice, and Jeff and Mary, two grandchildren, James III and Julie Vizzini and seven great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 10, at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held Sunday (TODAY) Sept 9 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Obituary Preview: Mrs. Virginia (Mann) Wolven, age 93, of Goshen, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, peacefully at her home, in the company of her niece. She was the wife of the late Arnold R. Wolven, and daughter of the late Rev. Archibald I. Mann and Olive (Taber) Mann.
Mrs. Wolven was born in Yonkers, NY on August 20, 1919. She worked for many years at the Yonkers Public Library, retiring as Library Director in 1976. In Yonkers, she and her husband of 64 years raised two children, and she was an active member of the Park Hill Reformed Church, a Girl Scout leader, and Soroptimist. In retirement, she carried on her family and community life in Goshen, CT as an active member of many groups in the community including the Church of Christ Congregational in Goshen, the Goshen Writers Group, Goshen Quilters, Goshen Garden Club, Friendly Neighbors, and a volunteer for the Goshen Public Library and the Historical Society. An avid writer, she helped compile a history of Goshen, "Goshen, Connecticut, a Town Above All Others," and had articles published in several magazines, and op-ed pieces in the Litchfield Times and the Waterbury Republican-American.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Rosenthal, and her loving husband, Arnold. She is survived by her son, Robert, of New York City, grandson, Nick Wolven, granddaughters Virginia Rosenthal and Laura Wolven, niece Rachel Croteau of Shelton, CT, two great-grandchildren and five nephews.

Walter Howe - November 26, 1917 - August 12, 2012

Obituary Preview: Walter Derwin Howe, 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 12th. He was a lifelong resident of Goshen, and was the son of the late Frank and Jessie (Palmer) Howe. He is survived by his wife of 70 yrs., Nellie Siddell Howe; two sisters, Alta Pulaski of Torrington, and Myrtle Cadenelli of Norway, ME. He had many nieces and nephews, but was especially fond of his nieces Holly Simpson and Heather Zavagnin, and his great nephew and niece Christopher and Amanda Zavagnin.
Walt served his country during World War Two in the Army Air Force as an airplane instrument specialist working on the B17 and B29 bombers. After returning home, he helped his father-in-law manage a dairy farm. Later, he worked for CMPA and for Agway. He was a member of the Goshen Agricultural Society, the American Legion, the Goshen Congregational Church, and the former Rod and Gun Club. Walt had a great love for animals especially horses and dogs, and helped his niece Holly have a successful horse show career for 50 years.

Obituary Preview: Elizabeth S. Wheeler, 89, formally of Torrington, CT passed away peacefully on June 8th at the Summit in Southington where she was a resident for eleven years. A loving wife and mother she was predeceased by her husband David Wheeler with whom she shared a love of music and the arts for many years. Their house was often filled with good food, conversation and fun.
She was the daughter of the late Lisle George Spaulding and Mary Nixon Spaulding and was born on February 19, 1923 in St. Johnsbury, VT.
Mrs. Wheeler was an avid reader and letter writer. As a young woman, a former Asst. Librarian in Burlington, VT she read on the radio as the "Storybook Lady" for WCAX radio. As an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Torrington, she was a member of the lay pastoral Care Team and Choir. She loved children and was a strong partner and friend of the Humanities program at Torrington High School, which Mr. Wheeler initiated. Some may best remember Elizabeth enjoying the Pops concert.
A talented crafter she knitted cable sweaters with detailed patterns and later wove beautiful wall hangings from a loom lovingly strung by David.
She was predeceased by her loving daughter, Becky, and survived and sadly missed by daughter, Katherine Bligh, husband Gil, and two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Robert.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, at Hillside Cemetery, 76 Walnut Street, Torrington.

She came to the U.S. as a child and had been a resident of Torrington ever since. After high school she worked as a buyer for the the Mertz Department Store in Torrington, then worked at the Torrington Company and part-time at Sousy Shoe Store in Torrington and finally as an insurance researcher for Aetna Insurance until her retirement. Mary had been a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by a nephew and his wife, Theodore A. and Robin Meleky of Atlanta , GA.

Obituary Preview: Henry A. Leidecker of Torrington, CT died peacefully May 9, 2012 at Hartford Hospital after a courageous (and nearly four month) battle with several serious health issues.
Mr. Leidecker was born in Weehawken, NJ on March 7, 1928 to Albert and Helena Leidecker formerly of Pirmasens, Germany. From there, he lived in Bronx, NY and Long Island before moving to Stamford, CT. There he attended Stamford High / Wright Technical School and began a 38-year career as an engineer with Dorr-Oliver of Stamford. He enjoyed 28 years of retirement in Trumbull and Torrington.
Henry was a private pilot in Warren, PA while working for Dorr-Con, a subsidiary of Dorr-Oliver. He enjoyed fishing, boating, golf, gardening, photography and building model airplanes.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Leidecker of Torrington, CT, two sons, Kurt A. Leidecker of West Haven, CT, and Laurence E. Leidecker and partner Deborah Coffey, of Youngsville, PA; grandchildren, Christine Leidecker of West Haven, CT, Kurt L. Leidecker of West Haven, CT, Sara Campbell of Titusville, PA and Quaker Leidecker of Hudson Falls, NY; step-grandchildren, Sara Luther of Irvine, PA, Jennifer Kinka of Philadelphia, PA, Vickie Paul of Jamestown, NY and Jason Wenzel of Warren, PA; and many great-grandchildren in CT, PA and NY. Doris Leidecker adds: "Henry and I were inseparable since early school days. We were together constantly and I miss him with all my heart. We'll be together through eternity forever."
Mr. Leidecker’s wishes are being honored in that he wanted cremation and no formal services.

Born in the Campville section of Harwinton on September 29, 1916 to Bertha (Frembd) Falk and William Falk, she was the wife of the late Albert F. Jene. She is survived by daughters, Beverly A. Jene of East Hartwick, VT and Marion Vicki Jene of Torrington, CT. Brenda Crowell of Torrington was a close and cherished “third daughter.”
She was an active member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, and Church Women United. Lee was an active member of Theresa Lodge # 14 of the Order of Hermann Sons. She served as president/grand president of the Society of Sister Lodges, State of Connecticut. She enjoyed numerous years as the leader of Girl Scout Troop #77 at Forbes School.
Lillian was predeceased by her brother, William Falk. In addition to her daughters, she is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the diligent, caring staff at Litchfield Woods for their loving care of Lillian and VNA Northwest Hospice Staff who lovingly cared for mom these last few months.
Her celebration of Life service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 5, at Nutting-Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 10 to 11 prior to the service at the funeral home.
