Ronnie worked for many years for the Iola Elevator until it closed, and his health declined Ronnie wasn’t able to do much after that. He did like to play horseshoes and he went camping some when he was able.Ronnie is survived by a sister: Rhonda Julius of Kinmundy; brother: Roger McCarty of Robinson, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews, and friends.Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Robert McCarty; 2 sisters: Gloria Miselbrook, and Gwen Reid.There will be a graveside memorial service for Ronnie will be at 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Phillips Cemetery, rural Kinmundy. Anyone attending the service is asked to meet directly at the cemetery. The McGriff Funeral Home in Kinmundy is assisting with the arrangements.
