Born in Wilkes Barre, PA., she lived in Hackensack, NJ prior to Manahawkin where she resided full time since 1966. Prior to her retirement, Susan was a Registered Nurse, working for Hackensack University Hospital.
She is predeceased by her husband Charles E. Korte in 2001 and her eight brothers and sisters.
Susan is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law; Susan & Kenneth Olson, Jean & Jesse Hayes and Donna Labe & John Reinmann, sister Arlene Evans, her six grandchildren; Dawn, Jeffery, Amy, Erik, Rick & Dana, her 11 great grandchildren, as well as her many loving nieces & nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, 12pm, July 26, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, NJ 08008. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 283 Beachview Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
