He was raised in the Kensington section of Brooklyn with sisters Fran and Claire and his aunt Emma, all of whom he deeply loved. Sid graduated Erasmus Hall High School. He served in the United States Army during World War II, including as a control tower operator in Sicily. He graduated Baruch College and had a fulfilling and very long career as a Certified Public Accountant. Sid married Doris Anson in 1949 and had a son, Dennis, born in 1952. He lived in Peter Cooper Village for 60 years. Once widowed, Sid survived his partner, Edith Selig. Sid was an adoring husband and father. He loved his daughter- in-law, Ellie, and was a doting grandfather to Abby (Grant) and Dani (Chester). He cherished his nieces Judy, Elissa, Margie, Ellen, and Janet, and his nephew Tadd. Sid gave of himself fully to his family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors. He retained his exuberance, sense of humor, and sharp mind until the very end. Elinor was a devoted sister and loving mother and grandmother. She was an integral part of both her children and all her grandchildren's lives. She cherished her relationships with her cousins. Elinor had many passions. She was a staunch and early advocate for anti-smoking public health measures, a former lifeguard and avid swimmer, and lover of (very) dark chocolate.

In addition to his immediate family, Jonathan is survived by his loving boyfriend Sam Morrison, countless friends from across the U.S., and his inner circle aka "The Ptown Crew". Jonathan's heart and smile were truly bigger than life, his laugh was ever contagious, and he had endless love to share with all those he met. Jonathan loved theatre, music (especially Lizzo), concerts, walks with friends in the city, amazing dinners, travels around the U.S. and the globe, Thanksgiving with his family, and dancing at home with Sam.

She came to the United States when her family moved to Los Angeles, where she earned her BA from UCLA. Later, she happily married Israel Sol Zeifman, whom she had kept in touch with since her high school days in Canada.

The couple then moved to Paris where he studied medicine. She supported them by working for the US embassy as a translator for the historic Marshall Plan. After moving from Paris to NY, they had two children. The family spent much of their free time hiking and camping. For several years, she pursued an acting career. She was the leading lady in The Plot Against Harry, which played at the Cannes Film Festival. She then decided to become a psychoanalyst and earned her MSW from Hunter College. She completed her training at the Contemporary Freudian Society (CFS). She participated as a lifelong member of both the CSF and the International Psychoanalytic Association. She was a clinician in private practice, treating patients at Columbia Medical College, Hunter College, and Bronx Psychiatric. She also participated in medical research.

She was widowed at an early age when her beloved husband died of ALS in 1985. She was fortunate to have a loving relationship later in life with an academic who shared her passion for politics, literature, and the arts.

She had a tremendous joi de vivre. She was a fierce fighter for the common good, an intellectual, and a lover of the beauty of art and nature. She is survived by her beloved children (Dr. Claude Zeifman and Dr. Anne Zeifman and her partner Bruce Marsh Phd.); four grandchildren (Alyosha, Natalie, Nathaniel, and Elyse); family members in California, Toronto, and France; and by her partner Avrom Fleishman, PhD.

In 1991, he established Harvey Cohn Architecture PLLC (formerly Harvey Cohn Architects). He married Sharon Neier in 1993, and they settled in Manhattan.

Harvey took pride in being the principal of a small firm dedicated to providing personal attention as well as expertise to each client. Design projects included institutional, residential and commercial building types ranging from country retreats to large New York corporate headquarters to diversified city apartments and a Fifth Avenue triplex penthouse. Clients included the Estee Lauder Companies, the Chabad Lubavitch, and Hotjobs.com. His passion for the environment was integral to his practice. He was a true "eco architect" who emphasized sustainable design and encouraged each and every client to make environmentally friendly choices. He was a leader in green architecture with a long and successful track record of green-built work. Harvey had a keen intellect with diverse interests that included reading, painting, travel, and music of many genres. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his siblings, David, Barbara, Joel, and Jeremy; his nephew, Douglas; many cousins and extended family; and friends.
