Obituary Preview: Rosa C. Reese- Baggett, affectionately known as "Mama Rose," was born March 26, 1937, in the beautiful city of Fort Pierce, Florida to the late Irene Washington-Reese and Ralph L. Reese Sr. Rosa was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida. Rosa was educated in the St. Lucie County School System and graduated from Lincoln Park. She was employed at McMillan Grocery Store and Scotty's Deli, but selling Avon was her passion. Her friends called her the "Avon Lady."
She was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in her earlier years. Later on, she joined St. James Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Armstead. She was a faithful member and Choir Director. She was also very active in her community. She was a member of the Fort Pierce Community Choir. Mama Rosa enjoyed helping people, she loved to pray, sing, cook, and eat.
On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at ten o'clock in the morning, God called Rosa C. Baggett home to rest. He was educated through Sumter County Catholic school. Joe graduated from Lincoln Park High School with the class of 1962.
Fate would have it that he met the love of his life, France J. Williams, in March 1965 in Stuart, Florida, and to this union he became a proud father of five beautiful children: Ronald Williams, Donald Williams, Katrina Wilson, Cynthia Wilson and Malesia Wilson.
Joe found his passion in the past 49 years being a builder. He was employed by Richard Davis Construction Company, where he later retired from.
Joe was a very loving person. He always liked to have fun and he loved to travel and eat at Golden Corral. Fishing was his hobby. He would fish all night until he caught enough specs. He also loved the beach. He hung out with friends and barbecued. Joe was an awesome dancer and he loved to listen to good music. He also had a green thumb for planting everything in his garden.
He loved his Ford truck and to top it off he was a dresser always on top of his fashion.
On Sunday, March 31, 2024, Joe Louis Wilson was called home by his Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by his PARENTS, James Wilson Sr. and Inez Sims-Wilson; a HALF-BROTHER, Ransom Wilson ("Koejack"); and A GRAND-SON, Dontavious Williams.

She received her formative years of education at Fort Pierce Westwood High School Class of 1980. She was employed at Piccadilly cafeteria as a Line Expediter for more than 20 years then moved to Brunswick Georgia in 2007-2009 and then Valdosta Georgia 2009-2011 with a transfer for the same position with Piccadilly and Shoney's Restaurant until she became ill. She moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in March 2011 and resided with her sister / caregiver Sylvia and Husband Robert Branch until August 2023. In 2014 Teresa able to work part-time at The Broward Mall until she had to retire in 2021 due to her illness declining and her final request was to move back home to Ft. Pierce, Florida and obtain her own independence as of August 2023. Teresa wish list and bucket list was completed.
After completing her assignment here on earth, Teresa Dee Washington Robinson departed this life to her heavenly home on the evening of Sunday, March 10, 2024. Barbara Ann Robinson-Muldrow - December 28, 1947 - December 28, 2023

Obituary Preview: Barbara Ann Robinson Muldrow was born December 28, 1947, to the late Henry James and Irene Fox Robinson in Fort Pierce, Florida.
As the only daughter of five children, she developed her charismatic, free-hearted, assertive personality.
Being born into a prosperous family granted her the opportunity to attend Boylan-Haven-Mather Academy, a private African American school in Camden, South Carolina, she relocated back to Fort Pierce, Florida, where she graduated from Lincoln Park Academy, class of 1965.
She didn't waste any time starting her life and became a wife to Leon and a mother to Lovell (born in 1967).
Barbara Ann started working in the family business, Robinson's Grocery Store (cashiering and management), Robinson's cab stand (dispatcher), and payroll for her father. Branching out from the family business, she met Robert Lee while working at JM Fields, that was the love of her life. Robert and Barbara later united in Holy Matrimony on September 3, 1977. Two years later, a beautiful baby girl was born, Shilisha NaTasha.
Barbara Ann became a school bus driver for St. Lucie County where she drove for 18 years. Excelling in her career, Barbara was then promoted to become the first African-American Area Manager for St.Lucie County, where she remained in her position until her retirement.
The highlight of Barbara's life was truly her grandchildren and later to become her great-grandchildren.
Barbara loved cooking and baking, as well as catering to Robert's every need. On March 18, 2017, Barbara's husband gained his wings. From then, Barbara's life was never the same. She eventually gained her wings on her birthday, December 28, 2023.
Her legacy will continue and will forever be treasured by: her SON, Lovell and DAUGHTER, Shilisha (Charles); BONUS DAUGHTERS: Laurine Woods, Rosa Williams, and Brenda McCord; GRAND CHILD-REN: Floyd, Diamond, Re'Mah, Marquis, Lovell Jr. and Javelle; 13 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.

ELIZABETH WILSON-HOPE was born on November 1, 1947, in the beautiful city of Fort Pierce. Florida, to the late Mary Russ Rolle of Fort Pierce, Florida and Charles Rolle of Nassau. Bahamas. Elizabeth was a life-long resident of Fort Pierce, Florida, and received here education from the local schools in St. Lucie County where she graduated in homeschooling.
Elizabeth worked in various places of employment, including CA Moore Elementary School. where she worked for over 20 years as a substitute teacher. She was a dedicated and faithful member of Good News Mission-airy Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Hairy Shaw.
Elizabeth met and married Mr. Edgar Hope, the love of her life, until he left this earth on April 3, 2013.
She loved her family with all her heart. She enjoyed fishing, cooking. garage sales. and traveling with her family.
On Sunday, July 9, 2023, at 5:55 am, an angel was assigned to escort. Elizabeth Wilson-Hope from labor to reward. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband. Obituary Preview: HONORING THE LIFE, LOVE & LEGACY OF CLEVELAND LEON JOHNSON SR. 1953-2023 Cleveland Leon Johnson, Sr. was born on February 9, 1953, in Oakfield, Georgia to the very proud parents of the late Willie B. Johnson Sr. and Odessa Pery-Johnson. He was the seventh of eight children born to this union. His parents moved to Fort Pierce in 1964 from Oakfield, Georgia. He received his education from St. Lucie Public schools. During high school, Cleveland played baseball and basketball graduating from Fort Pierce Central High School Class of 1972. Upon graduating high school, Cleveland went on to further his education in Texas. Years later, he moved fo Miami, Florida, where he worked for Southern Wine and Spirits for 29 years. Cleveland met and married the love of his life, Lottie An Armstrong-Johnson, in December of 1984. To this union, two children were born: Cleveland Johnson Jr. and Deondra Johnson. Very soon after, Cleveland joined Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dwayne Richardson and became a Deacon. When he wasn't serving the Lord or working for his family. Cleveland was enjoying his sports. An avid sports fanatic his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys, but he was more of a basketball fan when the Cowboys were not playing. He was a hardworking family man that took no days off, a man who broke his back to support his family in every way he could. In 2007, he decided to relocate his family for a better life and opportunity to Atlanta, Georgia, where he met many friends. Cleveland worked at United Distributors for 8 years. He worked for over 40 years until he retired in February of 2016. But even after retiring he did not let that stop him from doing all he could for others. Cleveland was always a super friendly and sweet person, who would always offer his services anyway he could. Because of his dedication to God and his family, others saw and felt Cleveland's love and zeal for life; as a result, he became a strong presence in his neighboring community. On Friday, June 23, 2023, at Piedmont Hospital Fayette in Fayetteville. Georgia. God called his son home to be at peace. He fought a great fight until the very end, and still to this day, he is still taking care of his family. He was a loving husband, a proud father, a dedicated deacon, a great friend and mentor, and a light that continues to shine all around him. Live on Cowboy! Obituary Preview: Roy Rogers Bell, Sr, 75 years of age, resided at 336 Cornwall Ave, Buffalo, NY 14215, passed away on June 16, 2023 @ 0646. Roy R. Bell, Sr was born on April 25, 1948, to Talley & Inez Bell in Fort Pierce Florida. Roy received his Christian background at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce Florida and accepted the Lord and Savior. After Roy graduated from Lincon Park High School in 1968, he joined the United States Navy. While in the Navy, Roy Sr. Fought in Vietnam War. After returning home from the war, Roy Sr received an honorable discharge from the Navy, in Long Beach, California August 19th, 1970. Immediately after, Roy Sr was drafted into the United States Army where he served in the Koren War & Cambodian War. Roy received Vietnam Combat Ribbon, Good Conduct Ribbon, Army Achievement Ribbon, and several other medals & ribbons from serving in the military. He married his wife, Etta E Bell in 1979. On August 16th, 1980, he relocated to Silver Springs, New York with his wife, Etta Bell, and children: Reginald, LeEtta, Roshelle, Kyshawna, Shanaka & Roy Jr in the oven. He joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. R. Turner. While a member, he served on the Deacon Board and Finance Commitee. Roy got hurt while working on the job and had to retire from the military after serving 20 years of service. Roy had many jobs helping lost souls and spreading the word such as a Teacher at GCC and Batavia High School, Street Ministery, etc. Roy married Velma J Bell-Rolle and had Cley, Tanayana, Eugina, Dimitrius & Angel. We are honored to share this time in remembering our beloved Father Roy. Bell Sr. Roy R. Bell Sr was a dedicated family man, who was always there when anyone needed him. Seeing so many people here to say goodbye to Roy R. Bell Sr today shows just how much he was loved and how much he will be missed. Our father’s words reflected his life’s experiences but were also just funny. Some phrases he used to say were: “Gemme that noise! You kidding me! And are favorite on Chirp, Chirp! Scott worked for the Florida Department of Corrections for over 20 years during which many memories and friends were made. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Buffalo Bills, Boston Red Sox, Florida Panthers and nascar. His passion for his friends and family will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

From there, he enlisted in the United States Army and served between 1945 to 1957. He served in two wars: the Korea and Vietnam afterwards he was honorably discharged. He relocated to Fort Pierce where he met and married the love of his life, Pauline Reese, to whom he was married for 56 years. This this union 5 children were born: Charles, Kim, Rodney, Joseph Jr., and Trevor.
JOSEPH gained employment as a truck driver for Dickerson Construction for 10 years. Then later, he worked for East Coast Railroad for 15 years. He later then worked for the next 7 years with the United States Postal Service until his retirement. JOSEPH loved being a husband, a father, and most of all a grandfather. He also loved riding his horse and enjoyed riding his motorcycles.

Obituary Preview: James “Tony” S. Lawson was born on October 2, 1966, to the late Eugene Wyche and Sarah Lawson. He attended the local schools of St. Lucie County where he graduated from Westwood High School in 1984. Afterwards, he joined the United States Army where he served for seven years and fought in the Gulf War. After moving back to Fort Pierce, Mr. Lawson was employed with Wells Fargo as a Armored Security guard. He enjoyed dancing, singing his favorite song “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus” and preaching.
On Tuesday, January 17, 2023, James S. Lawson peacefully departed this life.
