Survivors include his daughter Sheila (Kevin) Pratt; son Todd (Lynn) Stone; nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Carole, one daughter Kimberly Dawn Stone, one infant grandson Casey Taylor Stone, and two brothers Kent and Dan Stone. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO. He and Joann Kollar were united in marriage on January 20, 1983, and she survives. Lauro was a retiree from Fasco grain elevator in Mendota, IL and a welder. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved spending time with family and making new friends, helping them out in any way he could. Survivors include his wife Joann of Scott City, MO, children and spouses Mario (Kay) Villalobos, Richard (Connie) Falcon, Daniel Falcon, Laura (Steven) Pence, Echo (Christopher) Garbett, Andrew (Kelly) Falcon, stepchildren Roberto Villalobos, Sonya (Jerome) Wood, Raul Villalobos, and Rachel Villalobos, eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Ludavina, Olivia, Ramon, Blanca, and Raul. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Eloy, a son Lauro J Falcon, and a daughter, Angie Holcomb. Carl A Meyer - February 13, 1925 - June 14, 2022

Obituary Preview: Carl August Meyer, age 97, of Patton, Missouri, passed away in the early morning hours of June 14th, 2022. He born to John and Emily Meyer in St. Louis where he resided until he met and married his wife of over 50 years. Carl served in the Merchant Marines on the USNS Rose Knot, and then in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. He returned home to his family in the Saint Louis area, raising one son, Wayne Meyer. In the early 1980s, Carl and his wife Lou moved with family to Patton, Missouri where he spent the rest of his years making friends in the community and serving the Patton United Methodist Church, singing in the choir, and carrying out maintenance duties until his penchant for personal disaster finally forced him to pass the torch. Though he was never able to return home to the community he loved directly, he was able to return to Missouri after an extended stay in Arizona through the pandemic and was grateful for the time he was able to spend with his friends and family that visited him. He is survived by his son, Wayne, his grandchildren, Derek and Amanda, his cousin, Judy, nieces and nephews, and many friends in the community whom he also considered family. Services will be held June 25th, 2022, at 1230 at the Patton United Methodist Church in Patton, Missouri. All who would like to join us in tribute to him are welcome to attend.

He and the former Bonnie Jean Darden were united in marriage December 24, 1960.Bill and Bonnie had 3 children of whom he was very proud. Roger Wayne, James “Rick” Richard (Jane Arnzen), and Karen Regina (Chuck Martin); five grandsons: Tim, Blake, Zach, Kyle, and Seth; and eight great-grandchildren: Cameron, Hudson, Scarlett, Jocelyn, Lilianna, Autumn, Addison, and Maverick, with 3 more on the way!At age 17, Bill Joined the US Navy and saw the world. He was on the Maiden Cruise of the USS Forrestal; the first supercarrier. He met Grace Kelley and Prince Rainer on ship. He once hitch hiked (oops!) a ride with Admiral “peg leg” Hoskins. On his 19th birthday he was on the French Riviera. He loved the Navy as he cruised the Mediterranean.Bill worked many years for Grief brothers Containers starting out sweeping floors and then learning how to operate every machine. He eventually became the Plant superintendent of one of the largest plants in Houston, TX. Bill retired to the farm in Glen Allen, MO at an early age and developed his own roofing company, “The Marble Hill Roofers”.Bill made many friends and was especially fond of the kids who frequented his “Hitch-n-Post” in Glen Allen. Bill’s best buddy was his Furbaby Charlie who liked to ride on the tractor or 4-wheeler with him and sat on his knee as he played the keyboard. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Roger; one brother J.W. Jelks, two brothers-in-law Jerry Bell and Jim Darden; and one nephew Chuck Fields. He is survived by one sister, Wilma Bell; three brothers, Bob (Susan), Ted (Jean), and Jim (Wanda); and several nieces and nephews. Bill was of the Baptist faith and attended First Baptist Church of Marble Hill.Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2022, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday June 4, 2022, at 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO; the funeral service will be on June 4, 2022, at 11:00am, with Rev. He often shared favorite stories from his childhood and young adulthood with loved ones, eliciting laughter from both Joe and his audience. Without a doubt, however, Joe’s greatest love was his family.He cherished time spent with his beloved wife, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. He was a man of deep, abiding faith in the Lord and was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson. He retired from Procter & Gamble in 1996. His full-time, never-ending work was on his farm. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Nancy; two daughters, Melissa Hengl of Friedheim, and Crissy (Colin) Harrison of Friedheim; three sons, Arthur (Kyann) Smith Jr of Nebraska, Joey Smith of Friedheim, and Robert (Casey) Smith of Friedheim; one brother and three sisters; fifteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant daughter Angel Smith, four brothers, two sisters, and one daughter-in-law Lisa Smith. Numerous pots of chili were served about midnight after Saturday night dances. Her breakfasts made getting up early worthwhile. She enjoyed supplying dumplings and homemade cookies to anyone--family, friends, and visitors. Clara’s grandchildren remember that Grandma Sis was always generous with her hugs and laughs. She was so humble but had so much wisdom and all who knew her benefitted from it. She was the first to offer a helping hand to anyone who needed one and was admired by friends and family for her kind and compassionate spirit. Grandma applied this patience, humility, and compassion to any work in front of her. We have memories of her at the stove and at the sink, at the bedsides of the sick, working at the store, or running errands - always doing what had to be done with a smile on her face. Grandma had many challenges and difficulties in her life, much sadness and hardship to endure, yet by the grace of God, she was a role model for all who were able to witness her gentle, kind, generous, and loving spirit.Visitation will be at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 on Thursday. Fr. Michael Casteel will be the celebrant at the funeral at 10am on Friday at St. John Catholic Church in Leopold with burial in the church cemetery.

(St. Clair Associated Vocational Enterprises) with ongoing training and developmental programs. She briefly resided at Trinity Services Group home in Mascoutah, Illinois. Patti’s final years were spent under the loving care of her sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Galen Ford, in Cape Girardeau, MO.Patti lived a full and active life. For many years she participated in Illinois Special Olympics. She treasured her medals and trophies won for bowling. Bowling as well as soft ball throw were her trademark events. Patti enjoyed her leisure time with her own form of “Patti Solitaire”. She loved watching classic television, while snacking on her KitKats and Peanut Butter cups. She savored going out to eat, whether it was at the Chinese buffet or just picking up a cheeseburger. She especially enjoyed the Christmas season and her birthday. She relished a good laugh and enjoyed teasing others. She will be missed by many. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gordon & Rita (Schmidt) Bien, her sister Toni Kay Hannon, and her brother Robert John Bien.She is survived by her siblings: Suzanne Bien, Karen (John) Temporiti, and JoAnn (Galen) Ford. For the past 46 years Carol was a loving wife to her husband, Timothy Dwight “Tim” Lincoln, and together they had two daughters, Angela Marie and Jessica Gwen. Carol gave her life to Jesus Christ and was baptized in His Name at the age of 18. She faithfully attended Westside Church of Christ in Jackson, MO. She embraced God’s Word and enjoyed studying Bible prophecy.Being named after her grandmother, Maggie Gertrude (Ramsey) Barks, was an honor for Carol. Throughout her life she worked at Thorngate in Cape, cleaned houses in the Jackson area, and managed her husband’s business, Timber-Link Construction. However, her favorite job was being a Homemaker. She created a beautiful home for her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, and a dedicated wife, a true “helpmeet”, to her husband Tim. Carol enjoyed her grandchildren and attended many of their sporting events. From pencil sketches to embroidery, to catchy phrases, scrapbooking, and handmade cards, Carol was always blessing others with her artistic abilities. She was an excellent cook and was known for her chicken and dumplings, baked beans, and cherry breeze pie. She hosted large gatherings and was an inspiration to many outside her immediate family including nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She will be truly missed.Preceding her in death were her parents, Lowell and Oma Barks, and siblings: Evalene Collins, Jimmy Simmons, Francis Nations, and Wilma Hovis.
