ILETA V JACOBS - June 26, 1938 - March 08, 2022

Departed: 03/08/2022 (Titusville)
Obituary Preview: We are gathered here today to commemorate the life of Ileta Vanessa Jacobs. She was born on the 26th of June 1938 on the island of Antigua, West Indies.  She was one of seven children, 5 girls and 2 boys, born to John and Muriel Jacobs who raised them to be God fearing and family oriented.  Their home life centered around the Bible, church, and education.
Ileta became a devout Christian early in her adult life and she remained that way throughout. She got married to Ronald O. Davis and had 3 children by him – Edward (Stanley), Janice and Ronald Jr.  The marriage dissolved in a few years, and she moved to St. Croix, Virgin Islands to start a new life.  She never re-married and lived there for several years during which time she became a US citizen, and in turn petitioned for her children.  With her strong religious upbringing she also encouraged them to keep God in their lives.  She returned to Antigua for a few years and ended up living next door to the Henry family, at upper Fort Road.  The two families became inseparable, and the kids bonded with Ronald like siblings.  Christiana Henry was a God send because she too had a very religious belief.
Ileta eventually migrated to the US with her children, now adults, in 1983 and set up residence in Titusville, Florida where she again linked up with the Henry family who migrated earlier.  More new West Indian friendships were made, and Ileta was well revered in her circle of friends here in Titusville and back home.  She will be dearly missed.
Ileta is survived by her children, 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, her sister Maudlyn Ambrose, nieces, nephews and all their families too numerous to mention.
She is now with the Lord awaiting his final return.
