Departed: 04/30/2024 (Milton)
Obituary Preview: Our beloved mother and grandmother, Brenda Lee Skelton Perry, entered eternal rest on April 30, 2024, surrounded by love and light. A pillar of strength and a beacon of love, she was a devoted mother to her daughters and many others who found support and warmth in her presence.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, she was a cherished daughter to Ernest “Red” and Idell Skelton and a loving sister to Sheila Glenn and Debbie Cox.
She is survived by her daughters, Sonya Perry Spencer (John) and Lee Perry-Finley (Scott), who will be forever grateful for her guidance and love. She was a proud grandmother and held a special place for her grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Cole, and Abby. She was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia Connell (Trussville, Alabama); her brother, Jerry (Sue) Hutchins (Ragland, Alabama), and her niece, who was like a sister, Dana Simpson (Darren).
She leaves a legacy of kindness and compassion that will forever be remembered by all who have known her. At her request, there will be no services; however, a celebration of her life will be planned. She made it known that she wanted us to share a laugh and celebrate her journey home.

Timothy Leland Smith - September 07, 1957 - February 18, 2024

Departed: 02/18/2024 (Milton)
Obituary Preview: Timothy Leland Smith, 66, of Milton, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
Timothy was born in Springfield, Missouri on September 7, 1957 to father, John Smith and mother, Mary Smith (Henderson) into a family of ten brothers and sisters. He was born alongside his identical twin brother and the two were inseparable in life, rarely seeing one without the other.
Living in California in his younger days, he always talked about how much he loved living on the west coast with his brother. In 1991, my father found himself on the east coast in Orlando, Florida where he met his soon to be wife and my mother. He would father my older brother in 1992 and myself in 1996. His profession was a full-time painter, but moreover he was a full-time father, whose children were his whole world.
After the loss of his oldest son and my brother in 2006, he soon found solace in pouring his pain and his feelings into his artwork, making many beautiful works of art and leaving behind many beautiful memories in the process. Timothy Smith will always be in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, most of all your loving son. I'll never stop loving you, Dad!
Rest easy until we meet again in heaven. With eternal love, your son, Michael Smith.
