He was the son of Allen and Stephanie Singleton of  Cartersville, Georgia and Hazel and Fred Branham of Williamsburg, Kentucky . He was the brother of Kalynn Wilbur and husband, Lee of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Adriene Singleton, Heather Brown and Austin Palmer all of Atlanta, Georgia,  He was the grandson of Carol Singleton of London, Kentucky. He was the nephew of Craig Singleton and wife, Katina of London, Kentucky and Leslie Singleton Taylor and husband, Craig of Richmond, Kentucky. He was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gervis Singleton and a grandmother, Minnie Powell.
Funeral services for Mr. Christopher Allen Singleton will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15th 2022 at the Mayes, Ward & Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the Mayes, Ward & Dobbins Funeral Home on Friday, April 15th 2022 from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m.

Obituary Preview: Mr. Thomas Fields, age 80, of Locust Grove Road, Keavy, Kentucky passed away on Monday evening at the Mountain View Nursing Home in Pineville, Kentucky.
He was the father of Donna Regina McKnight of Keavy, Kentucky and C.J. Johnson of Corbin, Kentucky. He was the brother of Clarence Fields of Indianapolis, Indiana and Mary Burchette of Pikeville, Kentucky. He was the grandfather of Thomas C. Fields and Granville W. Fields both of Keavy, Kentucky. He was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from the Griffin Pie Company in London, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Johnson, by his parents, Davis and Nancy Kelly-Ghant Fields. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Fields will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Rev. James Paul officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky. She was the daughter of James Martin and the late Natalie Costlow Martin of Barbourville, Kentucky. She was the sister of Summer Rayann Martin of Corbin, Kentucky and Julia Cook of Leesburg, Virginia. She was the niece of Susan Harris of Columbus, Ohio and William “Bill” Costlow of White Hall, Ohio. She was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
The family of Ms. Jimilea Anne Martin has requested all services be “PRIVATE”. Entombment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio.

Obituary Preview: Mr. Jimmy Douglas Cummins, 86 of Corbin, passed from this life there on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Baptist Health Hospital. He was born in Mt. Vernon, KY on January 4, 1936 the son of Ewell and Ina Meadows Cummins. He had been a dispatcher for CSX Railroad for over 42 years before his retirement and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Corbin. He was valedictorian of his graduating class of Mt. Vernon High School in 1954, as well as an avid collector and a Lions Club member.  He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Anna Mildred “Midge” Cromer Cummins; three sons: Randy Cummins and wife Brenda, Rick Cummins, and Doug Cummins and wife Cathy, all of Corbin; ten grandchildren: Erica Ooten and husband Adam, Amy McEndree and husband Caleb, Jade Martin, Chad Cummins and wife Tiffany, MacKenzie Meadors, Holly Marcum and husband Lee, Kelsey Cummins and wife Amanda, Brianna Cummins, Jake Fuller, and Eli Fuller; and 15 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ewell and Ina Cummins, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Cummins and wife Vivian; a sister, Doris Brown and husband Lonnie; and a nephew, Mark Brown.  Funeral services for Mr. Cummins will be conducted Thursday, March 24 at 1:00 PM at the Dowell & Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky with Bro. Kevin Roach officiating. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London. Friends may call at Dowell & Martin Funeral Home in Mt. He was the brother of Tim Mason of Wellington, Florida. He was the nephew of Jack Ledford of Barbourville, Kentucky and Drucilla “Drew” Burnette of Williamsburg, Kentucky. He was also blessed with a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing. He was of the Pentecostal faith and the owner of the Pit Stop Markets in Corbin and Williamsburg, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Ray and Wanda Fay Ledford Mason, by his grandparents, Creed and Lucy Martin Ledford and Huey and Della Mason.
Memorial services for Mr. Tony Mason will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17th 2022 in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel. The family of Mr. Tony Mason will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. until the service time of 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17th 2022. He was the grandfather of Christian Dykes and wife, Pearl of Columbia, Kentucky, Jordan Collett and Fiance, Katie Goodin of Corbin, Kentucky, Austin Collett of Corbin, Kentucky and Katie Campbell of Russell Springs, Kentucky. He was the great grandfather of Ella Blake Dykes of Columbia, Kentucky. He was the brother of Ivalene Cordell of Newcomb, Tennessee. He was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was of the Baptist faith and worked as a salesman for the Reece Monument Company. He was also a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Anna Mae Jordan Hobbs and by one sister, Norma Jean Hobbs.

She was of the Baptist faith and attended the Keck Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Darrell Matthew Mills and by her parents, Jeff & Carrie Gray Merida, by one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Mills and by several brothers and sisters.

He was the uncle of Grace Brown, Kelsey Brown-Gaydos and Austin Brown all of Manchester, Kentucky and Keith Brown of Portland, Maine.
He was a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer and of the Baptist faith. He loved the lake life. Always boating and fishing in his spare time.

Jerrell was born on June 21st 1943 to L.S. and Meade Cloud.
He had just celebrated 60 years of marriage to his wife, Wilma Dean Cloud.
He had worked many years as the service manager for Owens Auto then the Ford Company. He and his wife, Wilma owned and operated the A-1 Sewing and Vacuuming Center in Corbin, Kentucky for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, family and driving his tractor.
Jerrell is preceded in death by his parents, L.S. and Meade Cloud, his brothers, Henry, Harvey, Hubert, Ebb and Jim. By his sisters, Pearl, Ida Mae, Barbara, Doris and by two infant siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Dean Cloud, his son, Jerrell D. Cloud and wife, Penny. Three grandsons, Jerry and wife, Rebekah, Jeff and wife, Chelsea and Justin and wife, Lauren. One granddaughter, Lexie and a host of other family. He was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren.

He was the father of Nelson Adams and Kenneth Adams and fiancé, Bonnie Farmer all of Corbin, Kentucky, Herman J. Adams and wife, Ruby of London, Kentucky and Crystal Kennedy of Georgetown, Kentucky. He was the brother of Ronnie Adams of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Sam Adams and Glenn Adams both of Jonestown, Pennsylvania, Bobby Adams of Grantville, Pennsylvania, Maggie Miller of Annville, Pennsylvania, and Cindy Gettle of Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He was the grandfather of Sarah Adams and Ashley Adams both of London, Kentucky and Taron Palmer of Georgetown, Kentucky. He was the brother-in-law of John Warthman of Versailles, Kentucky, Doris Adams of Jonestown, Pennsylvania and Barbara Adams of Myerstown, Pennsylvania.
He was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was a former mechanic for the General Shale Company and attended the 17th Street Christian Church in Corbin, Kentucky. He had a love for stock car racing, woodworking projects and taking care of his grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents, Herman James and Katherine Walmer Adams.
Funeral services for Mr. Herman Ray Adams will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, January 20th 2022 in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Smith officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the local D.A.V. The family will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, January 20th 2022. Graveside services and burial will be PRIVATE in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky.

He is survived by a son and two daughters, David Wayne Cornett and wife, Kimberly and Michelle Cornett and fiancé, Steven Fawbush all of London, Kentucky and Melanie Gross and husband, Jamie of Lily, Kentucky; a brother Harold Cornett of Corbin, Kentucky: eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, that were the joy of his life; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his sweetheart, Dorothy Jean Coots, whom he married July 15, 1959. He was also preceded in death by his father and mother, Marvin Wayward Cornett and Marvolene Monetta Dixon; two sisters, Iris Ann Cornett and Teri Lynn Jackson; one grandchild and three great grandchildren. He was a warehouse manager for Blue Diamond Mining-Scotia Coal Company and an avid Harlan County family historian. He attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Corbin, Kentucky.  He will be terribly missed by all.
The family of Marvin Wayne Cornett will receive friends on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 3:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be conducted in the Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Bishop Mike McLaughlin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.

Children: Dee Simpson (Kevin Gibbs), Teri Bullock, Lisa Hardy (Rob Hardy), Lee Adams (Mary McKnight), Jamie Maggard  (Joe Maggard); Grandchildren: Michael Wolfe, Nathan Gibbons, Brittany Poff, Leah Olson, Seth Gibbs, Heather Adams, Courtney Maggard, Brian Maggard, Zachary Adams; Great- grandchildren: Easton Carpenter, Emory Maggard, Braxton Hicks, Dominic Hicks, Roxy Nies, Kaylee Gibbons, Ariya Gibbons, Xavier Gibbons, Marisa Cupp and Kaysen Hamblen.  Lottie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a big heart and would do anything that her children or grandchildren needed at any time. She was very loved and will be missed by many.

Being a retired Bishop serving for 69 years in the Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee Assembly. He pastored many churches. Evangelizing and singing for the Lord all across the United States and Canada. He was an excellent musician and singer and could play many instruments for the glory of God, especially the piano. He professionally recorded several C.D.’s with many songs he wrote himself.

Smith will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the Restoration Ministries Church, 420 Lily School Road, Lily, Kentucky 40740 with Pastor Ronnie Smith officiating.
