Ann was born in Hobart, Indiana on March 5, 1962. She graduated from Hobart High School in 1980. She accomplished many things during her lifetime, including building a loving family, obtaining her college degree in business management, and volunteering with the Seville Fire Department.

Ann Tanner, beloved daughter of Carol and Gerald Cooley and honored wife of Richard Tanner. Dearly loved mother of Melissa Holland, Eric Piers, Alex Piers and Michelle Parrish. Cherished nana of Jonathon, Christopher, Everett, and Madelyn.

She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. Ann enjoyed spoiling her fur baby Rowdy, gardening, reading, cooking for her family, and game and movie nights with them.

Family & friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Saturday, afternoon September 7, 2019, between 1:00 p.m. — 3:00 p.m. at Lankford Funeral Home, 220 East New York Avenue DeLand, Florida 32724. Immediately following the service there will be a celebration of Ann’s life at the home of her daughter Michelle Parrish, 1760 Glenwood Road, DeLand Florida 32720.

Charles L. Applegate, of DeLand, FL went to be with his beloved Marilyne on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: five sons - Brian, Kenneth, Terry, Anthony, and Charles and one daughter, Elizabeth Heimall of Orlando; first wife, Donna; grandchildren – Ashley Hakojarvi, Christopher Applegate, Amanda Flowers, Brittney Applegate, Charles R. Applegate, Matthew Applegate, Kelsey Applegate, Shannyn Applegate, Zakkary Applegate, Kaleigh Judd, Christina Laudati, and Brandie Clements; and great-grandchildren - Adrian Applegate, Leland Hakojarvi, Brooke Applegate, Easton Applegate, Reagan Flowers, Kaiya Applegate, Azreal Applegate, Delilah Applegate, and Marilyne Eckersen. He also leaves his brother, H.R. (Dink) Applegate, sisters Lola Johnston, Bertha Evans, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his second wife Marilyne and son Neal, his parents Lloyd and Hester Applegate, and five brothers. His life was also shared by close friend, Heidi Baker.

Charles was a country boy raised on a farm in Lewis County Kentucky. He was sixth child of nine. Over his long life he opened several businesses ranging from food services to trucking. One of his greatest achievements was raising seven wonderful children. From the seven children he became a loving and supportive grandfather and then a great grandfather. He was raised a Christian he carried those beliefs with him his whole life and instilled them into his children.

In his later years he served as a deacon for his church, and supported the church in many other ways.

Viewing will be held on Friday, July 26 at Lankford Funeral Home, DeLand from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Services will be Saturday at 11:00am at the Open Door Christian Church of DeLand with viewing from 10:00am until service time at the church.

Obituary Preview: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andre Henry Cazeault. Andy, 73, of DeLand, Florida, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2017. Many of his loved ones were privileged to be by his bedside in his last hours. Andy was born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 22, 1943 to Albert and Cecile (Choiniere) Cazeault. He served in the Army National Guard. Andy was employed by Raytheon as a long-distance truck driver for most of his life, and was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He retired in 2006.

Andy was a wonderful man who was known for his kindness and generosity, and extended that to so many people. He loved to sing karaoke at the American Legion, Post #6, and AmVets, Post #13. He also enjoyed traveling and woodworking, and could fix about anything.

Andy was predeceased by his first wife, Doris and his youngest son, Bobby. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla; brothers, Ronald Cazeault and Allen Cazeault; sister, Deloris Verfallie; son, Roger Cazealt and wife Cheryl; daughter, Marie Boutin and husband Norm; daughter, Paula Allen and husband Vinnie; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Andy is also survived by his step-children, Butch McCowen and wife Tracy; Donna Jones and husband Brandon; Karen Foraker and husband Warren; Crystal Hyer and husband Dwane; and Allyson Cates; 10 step-grandchildren; and 5 step-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 18, from 5 pm to 6 pm, with a service to follow at 6 pm at Lankford Funeral Home in DeLand, FL.
