He will be deeply missed by his domestic partner of 13 years, Connie Berg; his children Brooke, Elizabeth, Christopher (Lindsey), Megan; his grandson, Dane; his father, Daniel “Buck” Green; his mother, June Rose; his siblings Tina and Tabitha; and many extended family and friends. Buck loved to be outdoors, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Wayland Chapel, 312 N. Main St., Wayland, MI 49348. A graveside service will be held at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Germond Cemetery in Wayland.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Everdene Buist; children Rick and Deb Buist, Ron and Cheryl Osentoski; grandchildren Tony and Miranda Harshberger, James and Andrea Buist, Alexander and Anna Buist, Taylor Osentoski, Sydney Osentoski; great-grandchildren Jaeden, Keegan, Peyton, Lincoln, Greyson, Brooklyn, Cecelia, Briella, Cameron; siblings Ron and Marge Cook, Ken and Mary Visser; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jack was a longtime member of Wayland Christian Reformed Church and the second of five generations to attend Moline Christian school. He was a self-employed mason contractor. An avid gardener, he was known for his delicious sweet corn.

He was preceded in death by parents Marion and Margaret DeWeerd; brother, Hugh DeWeerd; and sister, Melanee Kahlor. He is survived by his children Ken DeWeerd, Marijane DeWeerd, Wayne DeWeerd, Nicholas DeWeerd and Ashley (Bob) Swainston; grandchildren Nicholas Oglesbee, Lindsay (William) Beattie, Tyler DeWeerd, Trevor DeWeerd, Kaiden DeWeerd, Gavin DeWeerd, Carson DeWeerd, Dane Swainston, Kendal Swainston; great-grandchildren Landon and Nolan Beattie; sister, Lorraine (David) Hammond; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Doc was an icon in the Wayland community - providing his veterinarian services for over 55 years. Stories shared of how Doc saved their family’s animal, be it big or small, were shared many times with his children. His career took up most of Ken’s time but in his free time he enjoyed horses, Dixieland music, and a good scotch.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the many friends at the Auction House Café and all of the caregivers who helped Ken in his final years.
A memorial service to celebrate Ken’s life will be held when the current Covid-19 concerns are over.

He will be deeply missed by his wife 15 years, Memorie Konecny; stepson, Andrew Boss; his parents Richard (Rose) Konecny and Renee (Doug Goodwin) Sevigny; his brothers Richard (Karen) Konecny, Ryan (Kellie) Konecny, Regan (Michelle) Konecny; stepsiblings Cassie (Matt) Merren, Paul Goodwin, Jessica Goodwin; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Randy loved all things outdoors - everything from camping, hunting, bowling, fishing and golfing. Most importantly he loved his family. He had a reputation of teaching his nieces and nephews how to get into trouble. He also loved to laugh and just enjoyed life.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. August 20, 2020 at Germond Cemetery in Shelbyville, Michigan. Guests who will be attending are requested to bring a chair. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 6 p.m. August 22, 2020 at his father’s home.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Joseph and Annetta Kelly; maternal grandparents Darrell and Virginia Powers; uncle, Joseph Kelly; and her sister, Bernadette Kelly. She will be deeply missed by her parents Terry Sr. and Cathy Kelly; her siblings Terry Kelly II, Sarah Kelly; nephew, Terry Kelly III; niece, Caitlyn Kelly; her crazy aunties Donnean Slaughter and Lori Edwards; adopted brother, Chad Levalley and his family; and many extended family and friends.
Jennene had many hobbies and likes, some of which included her favorite color, purple, the Detroit Tigers, Notre Dame, baby dolls and fishing at her favorite vacation spot in Baldwin, MI. She also enjoyed making friends at Special Friends in Moline. She also had a love for classic cars; she would often color very detailed pictures and have them posted all over the house. Most importantly, she loved her family and her family loved her. She will be missed.
Visitation with the family will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 128 Cedar St., Wayland, MI 49348. There will be a rosary at 7:45 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 23 at St. Therese Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior. Jennene will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Donna (Dykstra) Estelle; children Kenneth R. (Kathy) Estelle, Kathie Estelle, Keith (Mindy) Estelle, Karl (Cheryl) Estelle, Kristine (Matt) Weston; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings Donald (Ardis) Estelle, Evelyn DeHaan, Barb (Bob) Miedema; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ken was well known for his love of horses.  He and Donna spent much time camping and enjoying time with their friends and family.  Ken enjoyed his mule, Blossom, and he and Donna spent many wonderful hours riding trails near and far. He spent 50 years working in the masonry construction industry and won several awards for commercial construction projects.
Celebration of his life will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at The River Church, 1652 M-40 North, Allegan, MI. Pastor Craig Van Beek, of the United Methodist Church in Monterey Center will be presiding.  A visitation time will be held prior to the celebration at 2:30 pm at The River Church.

Evelyn loved the outdoors, she loved her flowers, had many friends, and was loved by all. She was a lifelong member of the Wayland VFW Auxiliary and always helped those in need, but most of all she loved her family… dearly.

Scholten; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. With a heart always overflowing with love, Mary Ellen lived her life in service to others. From a nursing career, caring for those in need, to years of training others to do the same at Lansing Community College. From homemade encouragement cards and artfully crafted gifts for friends and family, to countless meals delivered to neighbors and friends. From hosting large 4th of July parties to decorating every inch of the house for Christmas cheer. From mountains of laundry to eagerly changing the dirty "Grammi pants" of the grandkids. From hope-giving letters to her fiancé in Vietnam, to a recent lucid moment thanking him for his years of faithful service to her. She showed us all that, "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13)

He will be lovingly missed by his children Mary Schaner, Karen (Jeff) Barnes, and Patrick Ladwa; grandchildren Jason (Heather) Barnes, Megan (Jason) Montalto, Bridget (Cory) O'Hanlon, and Megan (Rachel) Ladwa; great-grandchildren Alexis, Arthur, and Madison.
At 21, Frank earned POW status and a Purple Heart serving our great country in the US Army (1950-1953) as Combat Infantry / Korean War and finished out his term in Washington DC as honorary guard at Arlington Cemetery.
Frank started his work life early with such companies as Pet Milk, GM, and many other ventures; he also started his own roofing company and leveled off his career as an accomplished millwright at Fisher Body, Kalamazoo.
A private Funeral Mass and burial were held at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic  Church - where Frank was a lifelong member.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Harold Townshend; her children Michael (Darlene) Townshend, James Townshend, Diane (Craig) Vissers, Lori (Kyle) Butters; grandchildren Alicia, Jacquelyn, Krista (Dale), Courtney, Aja, Brittany, Sasha, Bryan, Jennifer (William), Colin, Riley; great-grandchildren Kennedy, Christian; her sister, Carol Colman; and many extended family and friends.
Barbara loved playing Bridge with her group she met with once a month. She also loved fishing, though her style of fishing consisted of letting the line float in the water while she enjoyed a book on the pontoon. Earlier in life, she loved to play piano. She is survived by her parents Mike and Cathy; her brother, Caleb (Amy); grandmother, Margaret Dutkiewicz; aunts and uncles Karen (Mark) Morgan, Mark (Linda) Dutkiewicz, Matt (Karin) Dutkiewicz, Monica (Cliff) Kiefer, Marty (David) Wagner; many cousins and extended family, friends; and her rescue dog and companion, Charlie.
McKenna graduated from Wayland Union in 2017; she played violin in the orchestra, was on the swim team and track and field for four years. She grew up as an active member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Following graduation, she attended Eastern Michigan University for two years and moved to Kalamazoo with plans to continue her education at Western Michigan University. McKenna was in the process of coming home due to the current pandemic conditions. She loved being a part of her large family and the family reunions and events with her cousins. Camping and tubing with family and friends were some of her favorite things to do. McKenna loved her Wayland community, working and volunteering where she was needed. She was always up to sharing new experiences and showing people new things and places.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Monday, June 8, 2020 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 128 Cedar St, Wayland, MI. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday at St. Therese from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with a Rosary to be said at 6 pm. The family welcomes memories and messages in their online guestbook at www.kubiakcook.com.

Marie devoted her life to her family and was a blessing and a strong positive influence on them. Marie was so talented, from her homemade pies to handmade towels, she was good at everything she attempted. She loved to crochet; her abilities where amazing to see and she had them to the very end.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul P. Sprague Sr. and Pauline Medawis Sprague; grandmother, Elizabeth Sprague, who raised Paul and his siblings; and brother, Ronald Dean Sprague.
He will be deeply missed by his sister, Mary Sprague Townsend; half-sisters Ronda Hansen Wesaw, Julia Stanhiser, and Loretta Wesaw; special cousins Rachel Mackety and Seth Kequom; as well as many cousins, extended family, and friends in Michigan and Florida.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Bradley Indian Mission Cemetery in Wayland, Michigan. In memory of Paul and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

Betty was an active member with her church family over the years. She volunteered her time as a good and faithful servant. Most recently she was a member at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Dorr. Betty was known for her love of baking, making everything from pies, bread, and most importantly, her cookies! It was often stated that no one would leave her house with an empty stomach. She was the best example of how to be a good mom; she loved her family with all her heart. Betty’s willingness to volunteer throughout the community brought her joy.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private, family-only service will be held in June. In memory of Betty and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or Faith Hospice – Trillium Woods.
