Obituary Preview: Carol L. Dickant, 84, of 29 Hillside Drive,  Ridgway, died at Penn Highlands DuBois on Friday, July 2, 2021. She was born in Ridgway on June 30, 1937, a daughter of the late Cleo and Enid Huckabone Callahan.  On November 24, 1956 she married John P. Dickant, who preceded he in death on June 4, 2018. Carol was a lifelong resident of Ridgway, and was a member of St. Leo Church.  She enjoyed being with her family and her dog Buffy.  She also enjoyed playing cards and hosting family gatherings. She is survived by four sons: Johnny Dickant of Ridgway, Jim Dickant of Greensburg, Joe Dickant and Tim Dickant of RIdgway, by one daughter, Deb ( Timothy)Aiello of Ridgway,and by twelve grandchildren; Dustin, Nick, Alex, Taylor, Amanda, Andy, Jean Marie, Crystal, Tonya, Jamie and James; 36 great grandchildren  and five great great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Huckabone of Illinois. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Nash Aiello; two brothers, Bill and Bob Callahan and a sister, Betty Wyrenth. John "Jack" C Davidson - January 30, 1936 - June 25, 2021

Obituary Preview: John C. “Jack” Davidson, 85, of St. Augustine, Florida, died on Friday, June 25, 2021.
He was born on January 30, 1936 in Schenectady, NY, a son of the late John and Virginia Anderson Davidson.
On December 29, 1999, in St. Augustine, he married Victoria “Vicky” Caggiano, she survives.
Jack was a graduate of Clarkson College, class of 1959.  He retired in 1999 from SGL in St. Marys after many years as a mechanical engineer.  He was a life member of the Elks Club.
An avid gardener and landscaper, Jack truly loved being outdoors and living near the ocean.  He never missed a chance to take a walk on the beautiful beaches of St. Augustine, and always enjoyed a good game of bocce ball or bowling.  He was a great fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Florida Gators.
A kind, loving, and devoted father and husband, Jack will be fondly remembered for being a gentle, caring, and unselfish man who loved nothing more than spending time with his family and socializing with his friends.
In addition to his wife of more than 21 years, Vicky Caggiano Davidson, he is survived by two daughters; Tammy Kennedy of Edmond, OK, and Jacqueline Shovel of Highland Village, TX, and by four grandchildren; Samantha Dafft, John Shovel, Eric Kennedy, and Miranda Kennedy and by two great-grandchildren; Wesley Dafft and Nicholas Shovel.  He is also survived by two step-children; Jim Barker of North Carolina and Shelly Barker of Kentucky, as well as three step-grandchildren; Byranna Barker, Nick Harvey, and James Barker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; Virginia Kichton.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life for John C. “Jack” Davidson will be held privately at Krise Funeral Home.
Livestreaming of the service will be available Tuesday at 1:00 PM.
Interment will be in St. Leo’s Cemetery.

He was born in Ridgway on February 9, 1957, a son of the late Forest and Maebelle Murvine Crotzer.
John was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He retired from Eastern Sintered Alloys and was a member of the Johnsonburg Piedmont Club and Legion.  He was an avid Pittsburgh fan, and enjoyed watching the Steelers and Pirates. He was dearly loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by a daughter; Jessica Soutiere and her husband Jean and by a son; John Crotzer, both of Virginia Beach, VA, as well as by two granddaughters; Emma and Anna Soutiere.  He is also survived by two sisters; Dorothy (Walter) Beck of Kersey and Sandy (Harold) Mertz of St. Marys, and by one brother; Thomas Crotzer of St. Marys, as well as by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; James and Edward Crotzer, and by two sisters; Janet Lyons and Carol Grunthaner.
Funeral and Committal Services for John P. Crotzer are being held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Thomas E. Copella - January 06, 1953 - June 14, 2021

Obituary Preview: Thomas Edward Copella, 68, of 39876 State Street, Ridgway, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 14, 2021.
He was born in Ridgway on January 6, 1953, a son of the late James C. Copella, Sr. and Carol D. Copella.
Tom graduated from Ridgway Area High School in 1971 and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1973. Art was Tom’s greatest talent as evidenced by the many murals he painted in Kissimmee, Florida during the 25 years he lived there. From a mural that covered a city block to a full beach scene on a sand dollar, Tom captured life by his art. In 2005, Tom came home to Ridgway, and continued creating beautiful murals in Johnsonburg. Tom was also an artist whose paintings were featured in the gallery and a show presented at ECCOTA in Ridgway. In addition to painting, Tom made intricate and beautiful creations by wood carving and sandblasting. Tom’s paper route provided the money with which he purchased his first guitar – music was also a love and talent from a young age.
Tom is survived by his fiancée, Linda Murry of Ridgway; his Magrini family, Babs, Joe, and Laura; his daughter, Scarlett Cabanaw; his son, Joshua Copella; his granddaughter, Morgan Cabanaw; his brother Jim (Delcine) Copella; his sister, Pam (Craig) Wriglesworth; and his sister, Cindy (Dave) Parsons, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by Robert Magrini.
Tom was the comedian at many a family gathering and gave us all many smiles and belly laughs. We love him dearly and will miss him greatly.
A Celebration of Tom’s life and talent will be held at the Krise Funeral Home on Thursday, June17, 2021 at 2:00 PM.

He was born in Ridgway on April 18, 1954, a son of the late James, Sr. and JoAnne Shutika Marche.
Jim was a lifelong resident of the area and served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 8 years.  He worked for Cenni’s Distributor for a number of years.  He was a member of the PFL and coached baseball for more than 10 years.  Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his family.  He will be remembered by his kids as a great dad who was always there for them and would do anything for them.
He is survived by three sons; Jimmy (Tara) Marche of Kersey, Jeff (Kari) Marche of Brandy Camp, Jason (Jessica) Marche of Ridgway, by one daughter; Jennifer (Josh) Marche of Kersey and by ten grandchildren; Jade, Harper, Jimmy IV, Isaac, Josie, Derek, Brooklyne, J.J., Gracey and Maddie “Maggie”.  He is also survived by a brother; Randy Marche, and by his former wife; Nancy Cole.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; Marilyn Marche.
Funeral Services for James A. Marche, Jr., will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Krise Funeral Home.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Fox Township Burial Detail.
Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.

Jeffery is survived by 2 sons; Jeffery Penfield (Lori Jayne) of Brockway, and Daniel Penfield (Leah) of Johnsonburg, his longtime companion of more than 25 years; Betty Ferraro Walter of Ridgway, by Betty’s son; Thomas Walter (Dana) of Pittsburgh, and by several grandchildren. He is also survived by 5 siblings: his twin sister, Jean Main of Ridgway, Debbie Nelson and her husband Gary of Johnsonburg, Mary Stahli and her husband Norman of Ridgway, Stacy Griffith and her husband Ed of Ridgway, and Bill Wolff of St. Marys, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Thomas Penfield and Steven Wolff, and a brother-in-law, Randy Main.
Jeffery was a lifelong resident of Ridgway and was Lutheran by faith. He worked at Exotic Metals (AAM) and retired from Scottish Heights Golf Course. Jeffery was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping and fishing trips with his sons. He enjoyed traveling around the local area with Betty.  He always had a helping hand for others and would not stop working on something until it was fixed.
Funeral Services for Jeffery A. Penfield, Sr. will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 215 Cook Ave, Ridgway, Pa 15853 with Rev. Erik Hart, Pastor, officiating.
There will  be no public visitation.
Interment will follow at St. Leo's Cemetery.

He was born October 26, 1958, in Elkins, WV, a son of the late Leo Main and Virginia Nellis Main, who survives of Emporium.
On June 25, 1977, at the First United Methodist Church, he married the love of his life, Jean Penfield, who survives.
Randy was a graduate of Cameron County High School, and worked for many years as the Director of Facilities Operations at North Central Regional Planning.  He was an avid and dedicated coach, referee, and supporter of the Ridgway Wrestling programs.  He formed many friendships with the kids he coached over the years and was a member of the District 9 Wrestling Hall of Fame.  In his free time, he enjoyed going to dinner with his wife.
A devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather, Randy enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren, who were the light and love of his life.
In addition to his wife of nearly 44 years, Jean Penfield Main, he is survived by a son; Jim Main and his wife Katy of Knoxville, TN, by two daughters; Anita Angelo and her husband David of Warsaw, and Jamie Geibel and her husband Bill of Treasure Lake and by seven grandchildren whom he adored; Tucker and Tatum Main, John Banks and Aiden Angelo, and Gabby, Miley, and Will Geibel.  He is also survived by a brother; Ron (Lisa) Main of Emporium, a sister; Merri (Rob) Burkhouse of Ridgway, and by several nieces and nephews, including Justin Burkhouse and Katie Burkhouse, who were very special to him.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son in infancy, Ronald, and by a sister; Judy Studer.

Diane was a graduate of the Ridway Area High School, class of 1970 and a 1986 graduate of Jeff Tech with a degree in Automotive Technology. For many years, Diane enjoyed working for Larry and Maureen Buehler and especially enjoyed the friendships she shared with them and their daughter, Brandy.  Diane greatly enjoyed riding motorcycles and fixing cars. She also enjoyed going camping and landscaping.  Diane was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and attended The Church Gathering in Ridgway.   She is survived by one daughter; Sherrie Viglione and her husband Tony of Ridgway and by one son; Chad Klawuhn and his wife Amanda of Johnsonburg. She also survived by seven grandchildren, Carissa (Mike) Cappiello, Jacob (Alanna Schiafone) Klawuhn, Caitlin (Drew) Baumgratz, Jayce (Karli) Viglione, Alexis (Phil Scida) Carnovale, and Brennen and Lucy Klawuhn, and by four great grandchildren, Addilyn, Brinley, Zoey and Giani.  She is also survived by a sister; Jean (Dudley) Karpinski of Ridgway, niece and nephews, Tammy, Bryan, and Brandon (Geneva), and by great niece and nephews, Jocelyn, Jack and Everett, as well as by many close friends; including her longtime friend and neighbor, Nancy Klawuhn.  A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life for Diane R. She was born on December 26, 1940 in Ridgway, the daughter of the late Hilding L. and June Earlanson Anderson.
On June 3, 1956, Bonnie married the late Richard E. Lynd, who preceded her in death on November 21, 2008.
Bonnie is survived by three daughters; Linda Redoute and her husband Benett of Michigan, Lana Lyle and her husband William of Titusville, and Lisa Trumbull and her husband Robert of Sigel and by 10 grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary, Hannah, Matthew, and Noah Redoute; Chelsea and Casey Lyle; Lyndsey Thompson and her husband Jacob, Tara Rowles and her husband Ethan, and Chloe Trumbull.  She is also survived by 5 sisters, Janet Viglione, Loretta Herzing, Karen (George) Nero, Junette Weisner, all of St. Marys, and Lynn (Leo) Schrubb of Missouri as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter; Denise Anne Lynd, a son; Richard E. Lynd, Jr., and by a sister; Shirley Fabiano.
Bonnie and her husband were entrepreneurs and owned numerous businesses over their lifetime. She loved spending time with her family, especially her ten grandchildren. In addition, she enjoyed watching movies, antiques, and going to yard sales. Bonnie was the most selfless and loving person, and would have done anything for anyone.
Bonnie was a devoted Catholic who enjoyed attending mass at St. Leo Magnus Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Bonnie M. Lynd will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St.Leo Magnus Church, 111 Depot Street, Ridgway, PA 15853 with Fr. Justin Pino, Pastor, and Fr. Ross Miceli concelebrating.

She was born on June 30, 1933, in Ridgway, a daughter of the late Sheldon and Emma Dahms Buck.
On August 17, 1984, she married Frederick Trumbull, who preceded her in death September 23, 2010.
Rose spent 30 years living in Cleveland before moving back to Ridgway. She is retired from the Ridgway library. Rose was Catholic by faith and was a woman with a big heart. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and crossword puzzles. She spent a lot of time with her kids and grandchildren, she was a role model to all.
She is survived by a daughter, Michelle Sewell and her husband Andy of Ohio, a son, Ted Tenebria and his wife Tracey of Ohio, 2 stepsons; Frederick Trumbull and his wife Cathy of St. Marys, Willaim Trumbull and his wife Sue of Ridgway, 8 grandchildren; David Sewell, Andrew Sewell Jr., Joey Pisano, Sharon Price, Eric Trumbull, Tyler Forsyth, Michael Trumbull, and Leanne Covac and 7 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred J. Tenebria, 2 grandchildren; Teddy Tenebria and Alyssa Forsyth, 4 brothers; Neil, Paul, Ted, and Ed Buck, one sister, Betty Buck.

She was born on March 12, 1931, in Ridgway, a daughter of the late Henry Ulrich and Katherine Fisher Amacher.
On July 12, 1958, she married Thomas M. Dickant, Sr. who preceded her in death March 9, 2008.
Ruth resided in Ridgway all her life and was a graduate of Ridgway High School. She was a former member of the Faith United Church of Christ and a current member of The Halton Church. She enjoyed working on puzzles, reading books, spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also found great happiness in being able to attend church each week and loved supporting her church community through her preparation of sandwiches for the congregation.
Ruth is survived by 3 daughters: Tina Konen and her husband Marlin, Dana Caggiano and her husband Stephen, and Tracy Dickant, all of Ridgway, one son, Thomas Dickant, Jr. and his wife Carol of Ridgway. She is also survived and adored by three grandsons; Matthew (Courtney) Dickant of Perry Hall, Md, Dereck Konen, and Kyle Caggiano, both of Ridgway, two granddaughters; Alexis Konen (Fiancé, Seth Peterson) of Johnsonburg, and Sierra Caggiano of Ridgway, two great-grandchildren; Matthew, Jr., and Benjamin Dickant, one adopted great grandson, Oscar Perdomo, 2 godchildren; Terry Klawuhn and Susie Wonderly, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by 2 sisters; Margaret Shelander, and Helen Amacher, 4 brothers; Walter, George, Robert, and Ralph Amacher and a set of twins in infancy.
A Funeral Service for Ruth M. Dickant will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA 15853 with Rev. Ron Burkett officiating.

Sally was a lifelong resident of Ridgway and a graduate of Ridgway High School, class of 1982. She enjoyed spending her time sitting by the fire, crafting, and crocheting. Sally loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandkids that brought her much love, joy, and happiness.
In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by two sons; Joseph Gerg of Ridgway and William Jr. (Rachelle) Gerg of Kersey, two grandsons; Anthony “A.J” and Bryson. She is also survived by two sisters; Rita Dickant and her husband Jim of Greensburg and Joanne Washburn and her husband Mark of Ridgway, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Carson.
A Funeral Service for Sally A. Gerg will be celebrated at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA 15853 with Rev. Ron Burkett officiating.

Obituary Preview: Charles E. Nichols, Sr., 66, of Kersey, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Penn Highlands Elk.
He was born on August 19, 1954, in Brockway, a son of the late Francis and Lillian Pierce Nichols.
Mr. Nichols was a lifelong resident of the area and a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He enjoyed hunting and local tourist attractions, such as seeing the elk and Kinzua Dam.  An avid racecar fan, he could often be found at Nascar racing and going to the Poconos Speedway.  He also enjoyed dirt track racing.
He is survived by three children; Leilehua Nichols of WA, Kimberly Stine of St. Marys and Charles Nichols, Jr., of St. Marys, and by nine grandchildren; Kinohilani, Makana, Kalai, Keano, Mana, James, Mary, Ellianna, and Ariela.  He is also survived by four siblings; John (Pam) Nichols of Brockway, Raymond (Chris) Nichols of Brockway, Shirley (Bob) Chamberlain of St. Marys, and Dianne (Wayne) Tubbs of Clearfield, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Francis Nichols, Jr.
There will be no public visitation or funeral services.

Obituary Preview: Rosalie Ann “Honey” Wonderly, 82, of Ridgway and formerly of Kersey, died on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Williamsport following a lengthy illness.
She was born on May 6, 1938, in Elbon, a daughter of the late Samuel and Sara Lindenmuth Boroi.
On July 7, 1979, in Maria Lutheran Church, she married the late Robert J. Wonderly, who preceded her in death on August 28, 2018.
Honey was Lutheran by faith and retired from Fairview Sintered Metals after many years of service.  She was a member of the Fox Township Firemen's Women’s Auxiliary and the Ridgway Legion.  Always a social butterfly, Honey will be remembered as a kind and generous lady who loved her family dearly.  She was very easy going and could often be found spending time with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed watching tv shows, and you could be assured that you were always in her prayers.
She is survived by two daughters; Jean Harlan and her husband Mike of Ridgway, Bobbie Jo Kronenwetter and her husband Jamie of Williamsport, and by one son; Joseph Cavallett and his wife Martha of Kersey. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Jen, Missy, Kayla, and Kelsey, by five great-grandchildren; Madilyn, Masson, Olivia, Oliver, and Declan, by one sister; Shirley Fredrickson of Kersey and by a special friend; Kelly Williams; whom she mentored and loved like a daughter.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers; Joseph, Bernard, Richard, Irvin, and Gerald Boroi, by three brothers in infancy, by a sister; Beatrice Boroi, and by her step-mother; Naomi Clark Boroi.

Ginger was a resident of the area for many years and a graduate of Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, New York. She belonged to the Eastern Star Club and St. Mary’s Senior Center Bridge Club. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and volunteering her time at the hospital. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandchildren.
She is survived by 4 daughters; Karen Dowd and her husband Frank of Ridgway, Andrea Schroder of Brooklyn NY, Pam Auer of Harrisburg, and Stacey Krise and her husband Ron of Kersey, one son, John Sherry and longtime girlfriend Cyndi Smith of St. Marys , 14 grandchildren; Frank, Billy, Colin, Karen, Tamara, Vincent, James, Anthony, Alicia, Brooke, Kristin, Cody, Damon, Derek, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is also survived by 3 siblings: Barbara Warnock and her husband Roy of California, Dr. Matthew Snapp and his wife Cindy of Texas, and Susie Phillips and her husband Michael of Florida.
She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

He was born on June 2, 1945, in Punxsutawney, son of the late John and Jane Kromer Bellomo.
On June 4, 1966, in New Bedford, Pa he married Jeannie Rishel, who survives.
Richard was a graduate of Punxsutawney High School, earned his bachelor’s degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s degree in Mathematics at Indiana University at Bloomington.  He was a member of St. Leos Church and former member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He retired from the Ridgway School District after 35 years of teaching students mathematics.  Richard belonged to many organizations, Ridgway Rotary, Ridgway Rifle Club, NRA, Ridgway YMCA, Knights of Columbus, Cursillo #230, and Boy Scout Troop 93.  He loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing, boating, and growing his garden.  Richard had a great work ethic, great sense of humor, loved his family and grandchildren, playing board games, and believed that “each day is a gift from God”.
In addition to his wife of 54 years, Jeannie, he is survived by one son, Michael Allenbaugh and his wife June of Sharon, 2 daughters; Natalie Miller-Martini and her husband David of Clarion, and Christine Geci and her husband Dan of Kersey, 12 grandchildren; Michael, Alexis, Aaron, Emma, Ashlee, Sunny, Janelle, Andy, Mandy, Sami, Tami, and Allison. He is also survived by 3 siblings; Mary Bellomo, Joe Bellomo, and Patty (David) Snyder, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 brothers, John and Phillip Allenbaugh, and special family; Gary and Linda Streich, Elmer and Maxine Frantz, and Ed and Ethel Rickard.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Richard E. Allenbaugh will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at 1:00 PM at St. Leos Magnus Church, 111 Depot Street, Ridgway, PA 15853, with Rev. Justin Pino, Pastor, Officiating.

Linda was a lifelong resident of Kersey and a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. Linda loved the outdoors, traveling with her husband, and going to camp. Many nights, Linda could be found sitting on her porch listening to her “oldies” music. Linda never missed the chance to spend time with her grandchildren and going to family gathering. Linda loved to be riding on her ranger, specially on the “Good Friday” ride.
In addition to her husband of more than 50 years, she is survived by a daughter, Stacy Faulk of Imperial Pa, one son; George Heigel and his wife Rhonda of Kersey, 6 grandchildren; Grace, Nicholas, Jackson, Aleena, Saige, and Amelia, and one great grandson, Lucas. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Cindy Detsch and Judy Marchori, and 2 brothers, Gordon Johnston and Richard Johnston, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Ann Krise,  2 brothers, Michael Johnston and Harry Koss, and a son -in-law, Scott Faulk.

In addition to her husband of 60 years, Bruce Johnson, she is survived by 3 daughters; Pam Lindgren of Ridgway, Wanda Reinsburrow and her husband Rich of Mechanicsburg PA, Shelly Nelson and her husband Mark of Hollidaysburg PA, one son; Randy Johnson and his wife Amy of Ridgway, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Judy Dahler, and one brother, James Weis.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son at birth, Joseph R. Johnson, 2 sisters: Mary Donahue and Phyllis VanAlstine, one brother, Albert “Buzzy” Weis.

Obituary Preview: Robert L. Mader, 80, of Ridgway, died Sunday, February 7,2021, in Erie after a short illness.
He was born March 2, 1940, a son of Leon and Margaret Johnson Mader.
On September 20, 2000, he married Mary Steele, who preceded him in death on December 22, 2017.
Robert was a lifelong resident of Ridgway and member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.  A graduate of Ridgway High School, class of 1958, and a proud player of the Elkers football team. Robert was a member of the American Legion, Ridgway Fire Department, NRA, and Ridgway Rifle Club for many years. He retired from Alltel Phone Company after 35 years of service. Robert spent his time building spectacular military models, watching Penn State, and old western shows. Robert always took pleasure in planning Class reunions and keeping in touch with his classmates all over the years.
One thing that Robert was very fond of was his 33 years in the Army National Guard. Joining in 1961, attaining many skills and training. In 1968 he was promoted to Captain at Ridgway as Company Commander until 1980. During his time in the service, he was involved in NATO exercises in Turkey, twice in Korea, Germany and desert training, Ft. Irwin, CA. After his extensive military career, he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1994.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Beth and her husband Bill Wasko of MD, and Kim Mader of Ridgway, a stepson, Wayne Steele of Ridgway. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  At home he left behind his beloved dogs; Ariel and Percy.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Mader, and parents.
Funeral Services for Robert L. Mader will be held privately by his family. Officiating will be Rev. Erik Hart, Pastor of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Military honors will be accorded by the Ridgway/Johnsonburg Servicemens Detail.
Burial will be at Oakmont Cemetery.

Robert was a member of Central Fire Hall, Ridgway Eagles, and VFW for many years. Robert was a jack of all trades, fixing anything that had an engine. He later retired from SGL and spent his retirement in his garden. Robert had a witty sense to him and could make just about anyone crack a smile.
In addition to his wife of nearly 60 years, Donna Black, he is survived by 2 sons; Scott Black and his wife Regina of OH and Jason Black and his wife Wendy of IL, one daughter, Colleen Mowrey and her husband Bruce of Johnsonburg, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, one brother, Thomas Black and his wife Melinda of Ridgway.  He is also survived by two long dear friends; Kenny Patterson and Duey Geitner.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Keller, and a sister, Betty Shultz.

Ralph was a lifelong resident of Ridgway. In 1966, Ralph joined the Army during the Vietnam War. After retiring from Carbon Graphite, Ralph worked with Kinkead Excavating and Erickson & Sons Inc. Ralph was a jack of all trades and loved to run heavy equipment. He loved his grandkids, bragging about them to anyone that would give him a chance. With his big heart and gift to talk, he could make friends wherever he went. Ralph loved his farm, treating his animals as they were his friends, most specially his dog “Angel”.

Bill was a graduate of Ridgway High School class of 1984 and is member of St. Leos Magnus Church. Bill attended Clarion University to obtain his bachelor’s degree in teaching and master’s degree from Gannon University. Bill loved the outdoors, teaching, and his annual camping trip with his buddies. Bill will be remembered for being the greatest son that William and Ruth could ask for. Bill always had a helping hand and made a huge impact on everyone he came across. If Bill wasn’t out hunting and fishing, he was at home cooking a meal that everyone would remember.
In addition to his wife, Rita Cregan Buhite, and his parents, William and Ruth Buhite, he is survived by 2 daughters; Jenna Buhite of Ridgway, and Rachel Buhite and her boyfriend Shawn Breindel of Ridgway, 2 sisters; Lori Ann Pomeroy and her husband Seth of Kane, and Miriam Bonner and her Husband Jeff of Richmond, Va. He is also survived by many numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents, Willard and Valeria Stewart, and Paternal grandparents, Jean Zarambo and Frank Buhite.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Krise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA 15853. COVID-19 guidelines must be followed.
A Mass of Christian Burial for William Buhite Jr. will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 22, 2021 at St. Boniface Church, 355 Main Street, Kersey, PA 15846 with Rev. Ross Miceli, Pastor, officiating.
Live streaming can been seen at St. Boniface Facebook, as well as Krise Funeral Home Facebook. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Memorial Gardens
