Marjorie was born on June 2, 1935 to Raymond and Wilhelmina “Minnie” (Schmidthuber) Nuessmeier in Sharon Township, Le Sueur County.  She grew up in the Le Sueur area and graduated from Le Sueur High School where she played in the marching band and sang in the choir.  She married Alvin Thelemann on May 30, 1953 in Le Sueur. The couple farmed in the Tyrone Township area of Le Sueur County.  They moved to Le Sueur in 2007.  She was a long time member of Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur Margie enjoyed music, life on the farm and time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children; Gail (Jim) Bach of Rogers, MN; Gary (Amy) Thelemann of Le Sueur, MN and Terry (Bob) Holz Thelemann of Waconia, MN.  Grandchildren; Jennifer (Scott) von Lehe, Joshua Thelemann and his significant other, Ashley Page; Adam (Elizabeth) Bach and Kaitlyn Bach and her fiancé Robby Richards.  Great-grandchildren; Owen and Ellie von Lehe and Elisie and Luke Bach.  Brother, Harold (Valores) Nuessmeier of Waseca, MN.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband Alvin in 2018 and Sister, Delores “Tootie” Traxler.

Obituary Preview: Sandra Jean Peterson, age 78 of Le Sueur, formerly of Kingsburg, California, died at Comfort First in Le Sueur on Thursday evening, April 21, 2022.  Memorial services will be on Friday, May 13, 2022, 4:00 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. ~ 4:00 p.m.
Sandra was born on August 20, 1943 to Oscar and Mary (Peterson) Hammerstine in Kingsburg, CA.  She grew up in Kingsburg and graduated from Kingsburg High School.  She married Randy Peterson and the couple moved to Los Angeles shortly after they were married.  She worked as a hairdresser for many years and owned a beauty salon in Los Angeles.  She later went to the Police Academy and was a Los Angeles Police officer for several years.  She left the Los Angeles Police Department and moved back to Kingsburg to pursue her passion with Belgium horses and started a carriage business with her husband.  She also enjoyed gardening, crouching and crafts.  Following Randy’s death and her failing health she relocated to Le Sueur, MN to be closer to her daughter, Sandra Fiedler. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Joe) Fiedler of Claremont, MN, son; Bill Barstow of Modesto, CA and many grandchildren and great-grandson.  Sisters; Tammy and Connie

Lorna L. Jones - February 12, 1927 - April 16, 2022

Obituary Preview: Lorna L. Jones, age 95 of LeSueur, Minnesota died on April 16, 2022 at the Ridgeview Nursing Home in LeSueur.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur at 3 p.m.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Sunday. Interment will be in the Mound Cemetery, LeSueur. A light lunch will follow the services.
Lorna was born near Ottawa, Mn. in Sharon Township on  February 12, 1927 to Hugh and Hertha (Bratsch) Jones.  She graduated from LeSueur Public High School and then graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in  1948.  She taught  math, science and Spanish in Grenada and Wayzata.  Lorna worked for Green Giant/Pillsbury from 1950 until retiring in 1988.  She worked various positions, retiring as a computer programmer.  Lorna enjoyed classical music, traveling, brisk political conversations, researching and publishing Bratsch and Jones family genealogy, tending to the roses in her yard as well as playing bridge.  She was a long-time member of Zion United Church of Christ.
She is survived by a nephew, David (Ann) Jones of Belle Plaine and 3 nieces, Lori (Robert) Kloth of Norwood, Sharon Croom of Prior Lake and Beth (Donald) Westphal of North Mankato.
Sister-in-law, Hazel Jones of Belle Plaine, cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul and twin brother, Loren.

Charles E Pfarr - April 10, 1938 - April 14, 2022

Obituary Preview: Charles Edward Pfarr, age 84 of Le Sueur, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Le Sueur Ridgeview Hospital. Visitation will be April 19, 2022, at Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur, starting at 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., followed by a K.C. Rosary. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 10:30 at the funeral home. Mass of Christan Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 20 at St. Anne’s Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery following the funeral service.
Charles was born on the Pfarr Family Farm on April 10, 1938, near Le Sueur, to Joseph and Rose (Helget) Pfarr. Charles attended the Rush River Country School near his family farm and graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1956. He then joined the United States Army Reserve. He married Kathleen (Roehl) Pfarr at St. Anne’s Catholic Church on August 17, 1974. Charles was a dairy and land farmer near Rush River, and he also worked at M.G. Walbaum in the feed mill from 1994-2012. He was known for his outstanding work ethic and knowledge of agriculture and farming. He was a life-long member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus. Charles had a kind heart and loved his family dearly. His wife and three children were the biggest joys of his life. They enjoyed family trips to Duluth every summer, where Charles would grill Pfarr Farm-raised steaks on a makeshift grill on the stone beaches of the shores of Lake Superior. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren and was known as their “Super Pa.” He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him and especially those who loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen “Kathy” Pfarr; his three children: Mary Ellen (Charlie) Miller, Keith Pfarr (Jill), and Karen (Eric) Pfarr Anderson; his six grandchildren: Alyssa Filand (Dylan Deegan), Callie Jo Miller, Lauren Miller, Alison Miller, Ethan Charles Anderson, and Ava Anderson; two great grandchildren: Lee and Henry Deegan; siblings: Carolyn Macrafic, Rosemary Skramstad, JoAnne (Dale) Jones, Patricia (Allen) Israelson, Virgina (Marwood) Neilson, Norma Jean (Roland) Swanson, and Kathleen (Ronald) Gates; and brother-in-law Kenneth Wolff.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Rose Pfarr; siblings: John (Catherine) Pfarr, Robert (Arlene) Pfarr, Marilyn (Jerry) Zeiher, infant Joseph Pfarr, and Jane Wolff; and brothers-in-law: Bernie Macrafic, Keith Johns, and Larry Skramstad.

Sharon Ann Ross - November 23, 1942 - April 07, 2022

Obituary Preview: Sharon Ann Ross of Oak Terrace Community Living in Le Sueur, died peacefully on April 7, 2022.  Memorial service will be on Saturday, June 4, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Le Sueur.  Visitation will be at the Kolden Funeral Home on Friday, June 3, from 4:00 p.m. ~ 6:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at the church.
Sharon was born on Nov 23, 1942 in Kerkhoven, MN to Clifford D. and Opal Gretchen Johnson.  Her family moved to Morris Mn where she graduated from High School in 1960 and was voted most musical.  She attended U of M Morris.  She married her high school sweetheart, Dennis, on Feb 23, 1963. Dennis was in the US Air Force and they moved to Albuquerque, NM.  Sharon retained her love for sales working for Trans World Airlines as a reservation agent and was later transferred to the Phoenix office when Denny enrolled at Arizona State University in 1966.  Sharon had two children Dana Kristine, born in Albuquerque and Jon Walter born in Phoenix.
In 1970 They moved to Le Sueur, MN where they raised their family.  Sharon began a long, successful career in Real Estate and started Ross Realty in 1976 and operated the business for 38 years.   Her daughter Dana is operating Ross Realty still today. She was extremely proud to be the first female member of the Le Sueur Rotary Club. She was on the Board of Realtors & Le Sueur Hospital Board, a member of the Le Sueur Economic Development Authority and very active in the Le Sueur Chamber of Commerce and various community projects.
Sharon travelled throughout Europe, Canada, Mexico and the United States. One of her favorite memories is dinner and the Opera at the Lincoln Center in New York City.  In addition to satisfying the needs of her customers at Ross Realty, her passion for staging homes using Feng Shui, a Chinese art of placement, was apparent when she traveled to China to further her knowledge of Feng Shui.  Sharon also enjoyed playing golf and bridge, tending to her flower gardens, attending theater and symphonies.  She had a lifetime joy of music and she loved being part of the First Lutheran Church choir. More recently, every evening she would watch the Andre Rieu concerts and hum to every song.
Her retirement years took her to Trilogy Golf Resort in Gilbert Arizona.  She loved the Arizona winter climate.   Sharon suffered a stroke in December of 2018 which brought her back to her beloved home in Le Sueur on Ridge Road. She so loved the evening sunsets across the river valley, an occasional eagle flying by, and the birds cheerfully engaged at the birdbath.
Sharon is survived by her husband Denny, daughter Dana Ross-Arlt & son-in-law Arnie Arlt of North Mankato.  Sisters, Shirley Squier of Morris, MN and Arlene Osen & brother-in-law Richard Osen of Winnepeg Canada. Sisters-In-Law, Karen Greiner, Darlene Ross of Benson, MN and Brothers-in-law, LeRoy Greiner of Morton, Illinois and Dick Ross of Morris, MN. Daughter in Law, Cathy Kessler. Grandchildren, Allie Mosley, Abby Mershon and Blake Kessler and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and son Jon Walter Ross.
Family would like to thank Oak Terrace Memory Care and the staff for their kindness and loving care in her last few months.
Celebration and sharing of her life will be held at later date to be determined.

Wayne was born on September 19, 1958 to Erwin and Ruth (Day) Schlegel in St. Peter, MN.  He grew up in Le Sueur and graduated from Le Sueur High School.  He worked for many years at Midland Tire in Le Sueur and married Kathie Lindenbaum on August 16, 1986 at Sharon Park near Le Sueur, MN.  The couple lived in Le Sueur a few years and later moved to Northfield, MN.  Wayne was in the tire delivery business for many years and later delivered for the Minneapolis Tribune in the Northfield area.   Kathie passed away in September of 2015.  Wayne always enjoyed visiting with friends. Wayne also enjoyed softball and bowling years ago and was a past member of the Le Sueur JayCees.  Memorials are preferred.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Patricia Schlegel of Le Sueur, MN and other cousins, relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathie; brother, Wesley and parents.

Dolores M. LaCroix - January 26, 1927 - April 02, 2022

Obituary Preview: Dolores Mae La Croix (nee Proite) was born January 26, 1927 to Leonard Proite and Mary (nee, Kozak) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and entered eternal life April 2, 2022 surrounded by her children and grandchildren in Le Sueur, Minnesota.
Dolores grew up in Milwaukee and attended High School at the Milwaukee Girls' Trade and Technical High School.  Dolores had a close, special relationship with her grandmother, Rose, in her youth.
Before marriage, Dolores worked as a switchboard operator for the Bell Telephone Company starting in 1943.   On June 26th, 1949 she united in marriage to James Richard La Croix in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She became a homemaker attending her family until the late 1960's then she rejoined the workforce as a CNA at Trinity Hospital in Cudahy WI.
She loved and worked hard as a homemaker for her family.  Dolores enjoyed traveling the United States with Jim and family capturing good memories on her ever present camera.  Dolores was a Cub Scout Den Mother for David.  She also loved art and found comfort in music.  When husband Jim retired, they moved to Bradenton, Florida and lived there for over 25 years and continued to travel.  The children and grandchildren enjoyed many holiday vacations in Florida with Jim and Dolores.  In 2018, Jim and Dolores moved to Le Sueur, Minnesota to be under the care of their daughter Judith Johnson and her husband Jerry and lived at the Oak Terrace Senior Living Center of Le Sueur.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Jim in 2021, parents, son David and half-brothers Salvatore, Charles and Leonard and half-sister Janet Chojnacki.   She is survived by her daughters Janice (Mark) Hahn of Kewaskum, Wisconsin, Judith, (Jerry) Johnson of Le Sueur, Minnesota, Joan LaCroix of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Jeanne La Croix of West Bend, Wisconsin and daughter-in-law Diane La Croix of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.  Grandchildren Gavin, Elizabeth, Madeline,  Alison, Kathryn, Lauren, David, Margaret, Mark Jr, and Meredith.  Great grandchildren, Murphy, Eleanor and Riley.  Half-sisters Rosemary Zych, Ann Bontempo and Valerie Agnello.

Wayne was born on July 4, 1950 in New Ulm, MN to Wilbert and Elna (Krueger) Steinke.  He moved at a young age to Le Sueur, MN and graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1969.  He worked for the Le Sueur Foundry, (LSI) his entire working career and retired from LSI.  Wayne was a proud father of his boys and passed down his love and passion for horses, hunting and family to his sons and grandbabies.  He will be remembered on every ride and every hunt.
Wayne is survived by his sons; Kyle (Jessica) Steinke of Le Sueur, MN and Erik (Ashley) Steinke of Le Sueur, MN.  Grandchildren; Lana, Leah, Aubree, Addison, Hunter and Tanner Steinke.  Sister; Kay (Hillard) Rolf of Arlington, MN and brother; Bruce (Debbie) Steinke of Le Sueur, MN; nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, March 17th, 2022, 11:00 a.m, St. Joseph's Church, Henderson, MN.  Visitation will be at the Kolden Funeral Home, Le Sueur on Thursday, morning, starting with a 8:45 a.m. Rosary, and concluding at 10:30, we will then process to St. Joseph's in Henderson for the 11:00 a.m. Mass. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery.   Lunch to follow in church Social Hall.
JoAnn was born on January 12, 1935 in Belle Plaine, MN to Emmett and Oleta (Schuler) Hessian.  JoAnn graduated from St. Peter & Paul grade school, Belle Plaine HS and Mankato State College with an education degree.
On August 2, 1958, JoAnn was united in marriage to Alvin Heinz at Sacred Heart Church in Belle Plaine.  They made their home on the family farm in Henderson.
She was employed as an elementary educator for 34 years mostly at the Sibley East School District in Gaylord MN.  JoAnn was a member of St. Joseph’s parish in Henderson.  JoAnn had an enthusiasm for life. In addition to being a wife and homemaker she enjoyed teaching, travel, gardening, playing cards, visiting & especially her grandchildren.
JoAnn is survived by her children: Steve (Joan), Russ, Jerry (Marion), and Ellen (Dan) Kroehler. 11 Grandchildren: Stephanie (Patrick) Murphy, Jessica, and Nick (Amber) Heinz; Travis (Corissa), Jacob, Mary (Braiden) Trouten, Patrick, and Michael Heinz; Hillary (Nick) Leininger, Nicole (Jake) Meidl, and Hollie (Anthony) Wilma. Seven great grandchildren: Levi, Stella, Charlie, Noah, Isabel, Victoria, and Eleanor.  Brother Mike (Cynthia) Hessian; sisters Sheila (Greg) Dorneman and Marguerite Kaczynski; sister-in-law Bunny Hessian.

She was born on October 6, 1930 in Ottawa, MN to Mahlon & Edna (Turnquist) Schwartz.  She moved at a young age with her family to Blakeley Township, Scott County where she attended country schools.  She later graduated from Le Sueur High School.  She married Gerald R. Distel September 17, 1948 in Fairmont, MN.  The couple lived in Le Sueur all their lives where they raised their family.  She was a homemaker and especially enjoyed her part-time interest in collecting and selling antiques.  She also enjoyed art and writing poetry.  Cooking and time with family and friends was always dear to her.
Ann is survived by her Children; Dan (Jan) Distel of Chaska, MN; Lani (Dan) Driscoll of Le Sueur; Robert (Julie) Distel of Mound, MN and Son-in-Law, Brad Sasse of Le Sueur, MN.  Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald in 2012 and daughter, Mary Lynn Sasse in 2015.  A brother and two sisters.

Betty was born on June 14, 1931 to John L. & Elenor (Giesel) Griffith in Eyota Township, Olmstead County, MN.  She grew up in the St. Paul area and later married Helmuth Eichler on November 19, 1949 in Mason City, Iowa.  The couple farmed in rural Le Sueur for many years and Betty also worked many years at the State Hospital in St. Peter, MN as a Human Resource Technician.  She enjoyed her time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children; Kevin (Kay) Eichler of Madison Lake, MN; Dianna Dvorak of Le Center, MN and Denise (boyfriend, Lynn Bergemann) Tellijohn of Garden City, MN.  Six grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren.  Brother, Dave (Carol) Griffith of Hugo, MN.

Brina was born on May 16, 1944 to Samuel and Gertrude (Miller) Snyder in Chicago, Ill.  At the young age of 5, the family relocated to Minneapolis, MN.  She grew up in Minneapolis and after graduating Washburn High School, received her teaching degree from Mankato State University.  She married David Powers of Le Sueur, MN in Minneapolis in 1967.  The couple lived on a farm near Le Sueur for many years where they raised their two children.  Brina also taught at St. Anne’s Catholic School in Le Sueur for over 37 years. She was a faithful member and volunteer at St. Anne’s Catholic Church.  She developed the “Adopt a Grandparent” program at St. Anne’s School and was also awarded the Woodmen Life Insurance Home Town Hero Award.  As an educator, she met children where they were and celebrated their achievements. She enjoyed her years of teaching and especially her time with the family and friends.  She adored her children and grandchildren and loved them unconditionally.  Her family and friends were blessed to have her in their lives.  We should all live life like Brina:  meet people where they are, smile, be kind, have fun, laugh a lot and find the good in everything. And never give up!
She is survived by her beloved husband Dave of St. Peter, MN.  Children; Patrick (Molly) Powers of Hudson, WI and Julie Powers of St. Peter, MN.  Grandchildren; Tyler (Lilie) Dimmel , Taylor Powers, Benjamin and Amelia Powers. Great-grandson, Cameron Dimmel; Brother, Jerry (Susan) Snyder of Eden Prairie, MN. Fred was born on August 17, 1955 to Norman and Eldora (Wagner) Rusch in International Falls, MN.  He grew up in International Falls and graduated from Falls High School.  He had some technical training after high school and moved to San Diego for a short time where he did contract work for Navy Ship Yards.  He returned home and made a long career in the Paper Mills in International Falls retiring when he became ill.  Fred enjoyed his time on Rainy Lake and spending time at the deer shack but his time spent on his Harley Davidson and taking trips with his friends all over the country was his passion.  He also enjoyed his time with his family and friends.  He moved to Oak Terrace Living Center in Le Sueur due to his illness.
He is survived by his brother James (Kathryn) Rusch of Clevland, MN.  Step-children; Kelly (Chris) Granrud of International Falls, MN and Derek Nelson of International Falls, MN.  Many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Tony was born on June 19, 1946 to William and Myrtle (Gabrielson) Mohr in Marshall, MN.  He graduated from Luverne High School and attended Mankato State University for a short time before enlisting in the United States Navy in 1966, serving during Vietnam until 1972.  After his time in the Navy, he returned to Mankato State University to complete his studies in Business.  He later began a long career in Purchasing for various companies.  He married Victoria Peters on December 19, 1975 in Mankato, MN, the couple later divorced.  Tony enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, reading, and live music; but mostly spending time with close friends and family, especially his grandson, Collin.
Tony is survived by his children; Dan Mohr and his partner Aarin Ledford of Bloomington, MN, Angie Mohr of Sartell, MN and grandson Collin Mohr.  Siblings; Karl (Kim) Mohr, William (Susan) Mohr, James Mohr, Phyllis (Don) Abild, Mary (Jim) DeJarlais, Martha Mohr, Christine (John) Tortorella and Ann (Bruce) Simmons.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Troy Mohr, and sisters, Sally Mohr and Ange Patton.

She participated in band, choir, volleyball, basketball, and track. She attended Mankato State University and loved being a member of the track team and the Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority. Shortly after graduation, she began a long and successful career with TTI, Inc.
She absolutely adored spending time with her nieces, family, and many friends. She enjoyed attending concerts, music festivals, sporting events, and traveling. She lived her life to the fullest and had a unique gift of making people feel like they were her number one. All of her family and friends were so blessed to have her in their lives. She will be forever missed.

Obituary Preview: Malcolm “Robert” Schleeve, age 91 of LeSueur died on January 31, 2022 at his home.  Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur.  Military rites will be provided in the parking lot of the church after the conclusion of the church service.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Bob was born on August 18, 1930 in Sharon Township to William and Esther (Ruehl) Schleeve.  He graduated from Cleveland Public School in 1948 and worked on the family farm.  He was inducted into the U. S. Army in 1951 and served in occupation forces in Germany for 15 months and was honorably discharged in 1953.  He  married Edith Marquardt on July 31, 1955 in Henderson, Minnesota.  Bob farmed in Sharon Township until 1991 and retired to LeSueur.  He was a long-time member of Pioneer Power Association, where he operated the blacksmith shop for 28 years.  He enjoyed hunting, playing golf, working with the grounds crew at the LeSueur County Club, dancing, wood working and time spent with family and friends. He was a member of the V.F.W., The American Legion and served on the LeSueur Honor Guard for many years. Bob had been active in the PTA and served the Zion United Church of Christ on the church council and sang in the choir.
Robert is survived by his children, Paul (Bobbie) Schleeve of LeSueur and Ranae Schleeve of Minneapolis, 3 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren and a sister, Avis Sebastian of Washington state.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith in 2020, brother, Willis Schleeve and a sister, Iomie McCabe.

During his high school years he worked as a floor manager at the Valley Roll-Arena in Le Sueur. Where he met the love of his life Jeanne “smiley” Rheaume. He married Jeanne on June 6, 1969 in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Robert and Jeanne then lived on Robert’s family farm while he continued to farm with family. Robert worked seasonal at Green Giant over the years. Later he cooked at the Canterbury Inn in Shakopee for several years and also many years at Taco John’s in St. Peter, MN before retiring a few years ago. He is survived by his daughter; Karen (Matt) Holicky of St. Peter, Grandchildren; Trevor Holicky, Ryan Wilmes, Courtney Wilmes and Gavin Holicky.  Mother, JoAnn Oldenberg  of Mankato, MN. Elwood was born on April 11, 1935 to  in Arlington, MN to Wallace & Violet (Beseke) Bauleke.  He grew up in Le Sueur and attended Le Sueur public schools.  He married Diane Dahn on October 13, 1956 at St. Anne’s Church, Le Sueur.  Elwood worked many years in Ag Research at Green Giant in Le Sueur and farmed part-time.  After he retired in 1978, he farmed more and stayed active with other part-time work.  He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Le Sueur Bowling Hall of Fame, fishing, farming, garage sales, auctions, fixing bikes, collecting toy tractors and his pets.  He especially enjoyed his time with family and friends.

John (Jack) was born on November 23, 1945 in Minneapolis, MN to Herbert and Eileen (Efta) Seaver.  He grew up in the St. Patrick/Jordan area.  He married Kathleen Liebhard on April 24th 1965, at Assumption Church in Assumption, MN. They were married for 56 happy years raising 5 children in rural Belle Plaine, MN and moved to Henderson, MN about 12 years ago.
He began working at a young age on his Grandpa Efta’s farm and also worked at a service station in Savage, MN. He then transitioned into 50 years of truck driving, including driving a milk truck, gravel truck and later independent truck driving having his own trucking company. He absolutely loved Peterbilt Semi Trucks.  He was a very hard worker and together John and Kathy worked hard to provide for their family.
John had a passion for old cars and enjoyed watching old car shows on television. He also had a passion for coming up with many new projects around the house. He very much enjoyed going to auctions, garage sales and antiquing with Kathy. John loved spending time with his family and sitting around together talking about everything under the sun. John’s family loved to listen to all of his stories and his advice. He loved his wife and kids and family very much. He absolutely adored having his grandchildren around. He was always there for his family whenever they needed him. Words cannot express how much he is loved and will be dearly missed.
John is survived by his wife Kathleen of Henderson, MN.  Children; Curtis (Sima) Seaver of Bloomington, MN, James Seaver of Henderson, MN, Michelle (Michael) Thackrey of Plato, MN, Russell “Rusty” (Sandi) Seaver of Henderson, MN and Heidi (Noah) Schwalbe of Waconia, MN.

He married Jean Traxler on July 24, 1971 at St. Henry Catholic Church. They made their home in Le Sueur raising their three children before moving to Lake Washington in 1992.
Brad was a business owner, mechanic, and a born salesman in Le Sueur for almost 50 years. He loved helping his kids with any project. His grandchildren have fond memories of boat rides on Lake Washington. He also enjoyed traveling, spending time on any beach, and had a passion for anything with wheels! Brad took great pride in the detailing and caring for his collector cars including his ’81 Corvettes and his ’57 Merc.
He is survived by his wife Jean; son Kelly (Michelle) of Burnsville MN, son Charles (Sara) of Savage MN, daughter Frannie Elwell of Belle Plaine, MN; granddaughters Allison, Josie, Jenna, Sofia & Nora Nyblom, Jessica (Matthew) Jones, and Angela Kermes; sister Darlene Briest of The Villages of Florida; sister-in-law Monica Nyblom of St. Peter, MN, along with many nieces and nephews.
