Margaret was born on Jan. 20, 1937, in Lovington, N.M., to Joe Thomas Tarry and Hazel Pauline Cox Tarry. After graduating from Lovington High School, Margaret attended Eastern New Mexico University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education.
In addition to raising her five children, Margaret worked full-time as a school teacher throughout New Mexico and Texas. She invested in the lives of numerous children through a career that spanned more than 37 years. After retiring, Margaret ultimately settled in North Richland Hills to be closer to her family. Her home became a hub for family meals, hangouts, and games of dominoes. She was well-known among her family for her hospitality, and she especially enjoyed entertaining her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Grandmother.”
Margaret is survived by her sister, Helen Tarry Hare of Barstow, Calif., and her brother, Joe Ellis Tarry of Roswell, N.M.; her five children, Debbie, Ken, Joe, Marsha, and Kathy; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers William Esteen Tarry and Thomas Edgar Tarry.

He was the oldest of four children and graduated from Springlake Earth High School. Shortly after he met the love of his life Belinda Hendon, he began his military service in the US Army. After being honorably discharged, Lee and Belinda settled in Lovington, NM where they raised three children Bryan, Gayla, and Dawn. He had a lifelong career as a respected and dedicated parts man. Lee enjoyed wood working, fishing, traveling, spending time with family and also with his buddies drinking coffee every morning at the local McDonald's.
He is survived by his daughter: Dawn (Frank) Marquezof Odessa, Texas; daughter-in-law: Roseann Oden of Midland, Texas; grandsons: Justin (Jerrica)Oden of Hobbs, NM, Lucas (Victoria)Marquez of Odessa, Texas, and Nicolas Marquezof Dallas, Texas, great-grandchildren: Marlee and Jude Oden; two sisters: Joann (Gary) Bullsof Amarillo, TX, and Linda Sue Johnson of Plainview, Texas; aunt Ruby Thompson of Petersburg, Texas; one sister-in-law: Yvonne Layman of Earth, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family friend Laura Manes and his grandchildren by love: Frank (Carol) Marquez, Steven (Lupe) Marquez and family both of Odessa, Texas, and Trey Martin of Dallas, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Belinda Oden, son: Bryan Landon Oden, daughter: Gayla L. Tinley; grandson: Shaun Tinley, son-in-law: Coady Tinley, parents: Houston and Lucille Oden, brother: Kenneth Oden, brother-in-law: Truman Layman. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00 at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lovington with Rev. Chad Wease officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery

The Rev. Jaime O. Quiñones was a loving husband, father, and papa. He met the love of his life, Ruth M. Birdsall as she was a missionary nurse in Puerto Rico. Rev. Quiñones lived a life of service and displayed his faith in the way he ministered to all.Rev. Quiñones believed “Religion is just not proclaiming words from a pulpit or a study I was reading. I can know the Bible and point you every passage, but if I do not reflect my faith as I deal with my brother and sister it doesn’t say anything.” He served as a Pastor for over 70 years. Rev. Quiñones served as a Pastor in Chicago, Illinois; Redlands, California; Lovington and Albuquerque New Mexico.Rev. Quiñones taught at University of Redlands.His love for education did not stop there as he served as a teacher, Chaplain and Superintendent of Menual Schools in Albuquerque, NM.He served on many committees throughout the state and country representing Presbyterian Church.He loved his church, loved to travel the world, study the Word, read, and meet people.He had a non-judgmental presence about him that challenged you to be better. Rev. Quiñones treated everyone with kindness and respect.His love was unconditional and he celebrated everyone he met. He believed in building relationships, so people were drawn to him because of the way he made them feel; he was a people “gatherer”. Rev. Quiñones touched the lives of everyone he met.
