Mary was a faithful member of the UNITED HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL PEOPLE. Mary is survived by her daughter, Barbara Watley, with whom she resided. A sister, Mrs. Helen Oliver (102yrs) of New Haven. Six grandchildred, 16 great grand children, 18 great grat grandhcildren an 0ne great great great grandchild. The Family gives a special thanks to the staff of Whitney Manor. David (Natalie) Toliver of Overland Park KS, Joseph (Henrietta) Toliver of Gaithersburg MD, and Steve (Melissa) Toliver of Mars Hill NC, 29 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She really had a "Heart of Gold" Donna was sensitive to others and their needs, and if you hurt, she hurt. If you were happy , she was happy. That was the kind of person she was. She left a long lasting impression on everyone that knew her. Donna leaves to mourn her only child, Nakeya Harrison, three grandchildren, Quintaisja, Jaquan, and Nasia. She continued her fellowship with the Refuge Temple in Waterbury. Her love for the Lord lead her to be a Sunday School Teacher, Mother of the Church and an Inspirational Songstress. Elizabeth was also well known in Waterbury as a gifted Seamstress, who made Choir Robes and alterations. She is survived by four daughters, Eleanor Thomas and Jennifer (Chester) Hughes, both of New Haven. Portia Lawrence of Atlanta, GA and Darcy Jacobs of McComb, Miss. A stepson, Henson Lawrence of Wtby, sons, Earl(Delores) Lawrence and Ernest Lawrence Blue both of Wtby. Her sisters, Lillian Hoffler of Wtby, Thelma Sanders, of Brooklyn NY, a sister in law, Mildre Jawwaad of Wtby. 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He loved to dance and play cards, especially Bid Whist & Spades. Deveron earned many Certificates of Merit & Achievement, while serving in the Job Corps. He also earned a Certificate in "Principles of Christian Living" Deveron was employed as a "Flagman" with New England Flagman Construction Company. He was an avid learner and had a creative talent to "fix & repair things" He also loved to help others in need. Surviving besides his mother Alexis Perkins, are a daughter Denaja Monia Perkins McLaughlin and step-daughter Tuleppe Jacobs of Bridgeport. Aunts, Tauheedah Shakur of Greensboro NC, and Sharon Perkins Boyd of New Haven. A great aunt, Alberta Stephens and great uncle Donnie Hilton.
