She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Thomas “Billy” Pettigrew, Jr., he survives in Lima.
She was a graduate of West Tallahatchie High School in Webb, Mississippi. Angelina retired from the Food Bank in Lima and was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board.
Besides her loving husband Thomas, she is survived by a son; Thomas Anthony Pettigrew and a daughter; Chiffon (LaMont) Williamson. 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grand-children.  3 brothers and 3 sisters: Money (Emma) Thornton Jr., Sylvester (Donna) Thornton Sr., Dorothy Thornton, all of Clarksdale, MS; Zearhne (Eddie) Meeks of Webb, MS.  Elder James (LaKisha) Thornton of Yazoo City, MS and Mary (Pinkey) Clinkscales of San Antonio, TX. 2 Aunts, Mattie Mae Stewart of St Louis, MO and Mandy Thornton of Mark, MS.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Obituary Preview: Elder F. D. Dunlap, Jr., age 86, passed from this life on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at approximately 11:06 p.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
He was born on April 14, 1935 in Kossuth, Mississippi to the union of Frederick Douglas Dunlap and Georgia (Jones) Dunlap, Sr.; both parents preceded him in death.
In June 11, 1960 he was united in holy matrimony to Georgie A. Johnson, who survives in Lima.
Elder Dunlap accepted Jesus Christ at an early age at Second Baptist Church in Swanton, OH where he served as a Sunday Mission Teacher.  He was called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in 1954.  He was a graduate of Toledo Scott High School and Northwestern School of the Bible.
Elder Dunlap retired from Vistron in 1980. He was the former pastor of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Lima and Latty Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Latty, OH.  He retired from Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Lima where he served 32 years as the Pastor.  He was a member of the Northwestern Ohio Missionary Baptist Association where he served as the Chairman of the Trustee Board and Chairman of the Building Fund Committee.  He was also the former president of the Lima Ministerial Alliance of Lima, Ohio.
Besides his loving wife Georgie he leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; Franklin D. Dunlap of Lima.  6 daughters; Marie A. Dunlap-Ali (Edward) of Toledo, OH.  Donna B. Dunlap  and Bahira M. Brooks (Michael) both of Edgewood, KY.  Mary E. Dunlap of Dayton, OH. Anjoli C. Scott (Charles) and Constance M. Dunlap, both of Columbus, OH.  7 grandchildren.  A sister; Helen Louis Price (James) of Milwaukee, WI.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; James Edward Dunlap and Winford Dunlap.  2 sisters; Elsie Mae Boyd and Earlene Dilworth.
Home going services will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. Dennis M. Ward will officiate, Minister Constance M. Dunlap, MDiv will give the eulogy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the Church. Interment:  Memorial Park Cemetery

Carter of Columbus Grove and Christine Roby of Sidney, OH. 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A brother; Samuel L. Cynthia was a member of Greater Christ Temple where she faithfully served as a church usher, was a member of the Christian Women’s Ministry Auxiliary and the Pastor's Aide / Pastoral Anniversary Committees. She was a faithful supporter of the Timothy Generation Youth Group, and was also a member of the Ohio District Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. Cynthia volunteered for many years for the Ohio District Council Christian Youth and Teen Camps.
In spite of all that Cynthia went through dealing with Sickle Cell she had a beautiful loving spirit. She would always make you laugh.  When she came in your presence her smile would light up a room. She was a true example of God’s love and would do anything she could for anyone.  A void has been left in many lives but the memories will never fade away.
Besides her loving mother she leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 daughters; Cierra Williams and Kieonna Parsley both of Lima. 5 grandchildren; 3 brothers; Ernest Williams (Lisa) of Sidney, OH.  Jeffrey Williams and Matthew F. Williams, Sr. both of Lima.  2 sisters; Mable White (Eddie) and Pamela Williams both of Lima.  A special friend; Kevin Parsley of Dayton. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On October 8, 1982 Joyce was united in holy matrimony to Mr.  Nolan Brown, Jr. in Chicago, IL; he survives in New Albany, OH.
Joyce was a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church, she worked in the Accounting Department at Commonwealth Edison.
Besides her loving and devoted husband Nolan, she leaves to cherish her precious memory, two sisters; Edna (John) Stone of Columbus, OH and Rosemary Dukes of Champaign, IL. A step-son; Nolan Brown III, of Chicago, IL, 3 Step-Grandchildren, 3 Sister-in-laws; Clementine Brown Brunson of Chicago, IL, Maxine Brown Orey of Jackson, MS and Lenora Brown-Brown of Milwaukee, WI. Pastor Charlie Mack Manley, Sr. - November 03, 1939 - March 05, 2022

Obituary Preview: Pastor Charlie Mack Manley, Sr., age 82, passed from this life on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at approximately 11:57 a.m. at Springview Manor Nursing Home in Lima.
He was born on November 3, 1939 in Hurtsboro, Alabama to the union of Thomas J. and Willie Mae (Cooper) Manley, Sr.; both parents preceded him in death.
He was formally married to Annie Lee (Davis) Manley, and she survives in Lima.
Pastor Manley was the Pastor of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church for 55 years, he was a Chef/ cook at the Sweden House and the Black Angus. He was also a restaurant owner and a member of the N.A.A.C.P.  He was a volunteer probation officer and he supervised the community service activities for the corrections institute. Pastor Manley was a member of the Ministers Alliance of Toledo.  He was the founder of the Youth Training Center in Lima.  His church was one of the first churches that served meals to the elderly, he also worked closely with the late Furl Williams on city council, helping to get the youth off the street.  He assisted the Lima City Policy Department in cleaning up Reese and Third. His greatest accomplishment was having the old fashion revivals lasting 3 weeks to 6 months and baptized thousands of people.  From this ministry many Pastors and Ministers have professed their calling under his pastoral ship.  His greatest love was for his 6 children, grandchildren and family members and his New Morning Star Family.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory a daughter; Patricia A. Manley-Carter of Lima. 3 sons; Charlie M. Manley, Jr., Anthony Manley and Rev. Arnold Manley.  A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  2 brothers; Robert Manley, Sr. (Marva) and Depree Manley (Linda) both of Lima. 2 sisters; Ruby M. Brown of Lima and Ernestine James (Johnny) of Alabama. A son of the heart; Percy Nichols.  A host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Lifelong brothers in Christ, Pastor Sylvester Day, Pastor Earnest Stephens and Pastor David Watts.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons; Willie Manley and Ricky Manley.  A special granddaughter; Ericka Boddie and also Jasmine Dion Carter and Ciera Cunningham. 2 sisters; Bertha Smith and Celestine Owens.   11  brothers; Ulice Manley, Thomas Manley, Jr., Rozell Manley, Willie M. Mrs. Hall was baptized at 14 years old. She attended Perry High School and graduated from Lima Senior High School. She also attended Apollo Career Center majoring in accounting. She loved people, and was a wonderful homemaker.  She believed in helping care for her children and grandchildren; she always had a smile on her face.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory; a son James L. McClellan of Columbus, OH. 2 daughters; Catsonava L. (Ricardo) Maloy of Lima, OH, and Dominique S. Hollomon of Hampton, VA. 5 grandchildren; Rapheal, Ja’Qualia, Salibrina, Za’Shawn, and Jazz, along with 4 great-grandchildren. 2 brothers; Robert McClellan, Jr. of Lima, OH, and Leon Bunley of Columbus, OH. 4 sisters; May L. He was born on August 10, 1956 in Lima, Ohio to the union of James H. and Lucy Mae (Hall) Ward; both parents preceded him in death.
On August 4, 1979 he was united in holy matrimony to Cheryl A. Randall the love of his life, the first girl he kissed in the third grade, she survives in Lima.
Gregory retired from Ineos USA, LLC, formally B.P. Chemical Company as a Chemical Operator.  He graduated from Lima Senor High School and attended Lima Technical College. He was a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church, he often spoke of how easy it is to be a fisher of men while surrounded by all Gods beauty and wonders of the world.  Gregory was one of the best fisherman in Lima, Ohio, he started fishing as a youth and dreamed of being in tournaments and becoming a professional.  He educated other fisherman about the sport.  His smile was like beaming sunlight as he told fishing stories.  He loved telling stories to his granddaughters or anyone that would listen.  He was not a stranger to anyone.  He loved to laugh and make others laugh.
Besides his loving wife Cheryl, he leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; Gregory H. Ward, II (Tiffany) of Lima.  A daughter; Nakia M. Ward of Lima.  4 grandchildren; KiAysha, Anyjah, Kamryn and Alexis. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister; Pamela Y. Ward.

He was born on February 24, 1930, in Hurtsboro, Alabama to the union of Thomas J. and Willie Mae (Cooper) Manley, Sr.; both parents preceded him in death.
Mr. Manley retired from General Motors Corporation.  He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.  He became a member of New Morning Star Baptist church under the leadership of Rev. C.M. Manley, where he served on the Deacon Board. He enjoyed watching Old Western Movies and spending time with his beloved dogs, and gardening. His saying “The little man on the Mountain top, told me EVERYTHING GONNA BE ALRIGHT”.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory. Eight sons: Thomas Roberson (Sadie) of Pontiac, MI, Belgium Rose (Stacey), Lindsey Manley Jr. (Jody), Lynn Manley and Joseph Manley all of Lima, OH; Dewayne Manley (Faye) of Pataskala, OH, Anthony Jones of Detroit, MI; Eric Manley, Sr. (Gail) of Fairfield, OH.  Eleven daughters; Linda McCraney(Manley), Geraldine Manley, Ronese Manley, Dondeline Reynolds (Robert), Carolyn Tisdale (Willie), Linda Thompson (Jody) and Día Manley all of Lima, OH; Marcia McCloud of Chicago, IL; Mary Williams of Detroit, MI, Sudan “Susie” Salaam (Manley) of Savannah, GA and Peggy Manley of Upper Marlboro, MD.

Jerain received Christ at an early age and attended Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Lima, Ohio.  As a young adult, he moved to Wickliffe, Ohio to be with his sister and family.  He worked as a chef and cook in the culinary field the past 15 years. He also enjoyed working with computers in computer programming, repair and encoding.  He enjoyed hiking, traveling, camping, biking, dancing and singing.  He enjoyed listening to gospel music especially by Shirley Caesar.  He was an angel on earth with a bright smile and kind word for everyone.  He was always helping to support families and children. He recently began his certification for the foster to adopt program.
Jerain leaves to cherish his precious memories his grandmother who raised him, Helen Mclaurine and Godmother, Ella Bee Benton both of Lima, Ohio.  6 sisters, Patricia Davis, Sarah L. Luckett, Rochelle Johnson,  and Andrea Sewell of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Forestetta (Harry) McDonald of Lima, Ohio; Mary Ann (Adam) Lail of Wickliffe, Ohio; and 4 brothers, Forest Lee Johnson Jr of Marion, Ohio; Larry Johnson of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Jeffrey C. Johnson and Quincy Pritchett of Lima, Ohio.  Jerain will be missed by Pearl, his beloved Labrador Retriever, who laid by his side until his last days along with an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.

He left Ohio to pursue a career with Lockheed Martin in Maryland, where he retired after 36 years of service. Phil was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and was always the person to organize a get together. He will be truly missed.
Besides his loving wife Lisa, he leaves to cherish his precious memory, 3 sons; Richard Thomas, Benjamin Lockett, and  William Lockett; a daughter, Christina Lockett. He also leaves behind 4 sisters; Joyce Bufford (husband Curtis), Carla Lockett, Sheila Sims (husband Paul), and Tarena Berry (husband, Rodney).
