Carolitta was born on August 6, 1939, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Edward and Edna (nee Keeble) Lammers. Devoted wife to the late Arthur Whisonant; Loving mother of Bob (Linda) Ross and the late Darryl Ross and his surviving spouse Connie; Cherished grandmother of Matthew Ross (Lisa), Karri Ross-Marotta (Scott), Joshua Ross, and Taylor Ross; Great-grandmother of Riley Ross and Reese Ross; Dear sister of the late Edward Lammers; Aunt of Karen Lammers and Chrissy Lammers-Fields.
Carolitta enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors. She was known for having a green thumb and loved to garden. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed. Carolitta passed away on April 29, 2024, at the age of 84. Resident of Goshen township. There will be a visitation for Carolitta on Saturday May 11, 2024, from 11:30AM to 1:00PM at Milford Christian Church - 844 St. Rt. 131, Milford, OH 45150. Obituary Preview: Leah R. Evans (nee Burnam) departed this life of 81 years on Monday April 22nd to enter life everlasting. Her husband of 50 years Frank C. Evans along with a host of family and friends welcomed her.
She leaves behind a legacy of strength, wisdom, love of family and love of Jesus with her daughters, Dr. Josie Evans-Phillips (Greg) and Marcy Baker (Derrick). Grandchildren Easton Phillips, Miyah, Donovan and Quinn Baker. Also survived by her sister, Priscilla Burnam and her aunt, Ophelia Wilkinson and a host of relatives and friends.

Thomas Anthony Hackman - March 22, 1938 - April 21, 2024

Obituary Preview: With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Anthony Hackman, a beloved husband, father, teacher, and devout Catholic. Born on March 22, 1938, in Cincinnati, OH, Thomas peacefully departed from this world on April 21, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Tom began his faith journey in the 8th grade as a novitiate at the Sacred Heart Missionary in Anderson Township. After high school, Tom continued seminary studies in Rome, and even received tonsure from Pope John II before deciding the priesthood was not for him. Upon his return to Cincinnati in 1962, Tom began teaching gradeschool at St Elizabeth Ann Seton in Milford, Ohio, where he met his wife, Karen (nee Smith). Tom continued in a lifelong devotion to his faith. He attended church regularly and served in various capacities througout his life. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Tom held a Master's of Education from Xavier University, which shaped his passion for education and lifelong learning. He dedicated 42 years of his life to educating young minds, 29 of them at Cook Elementary School in Goshen, mainly teaching science to 4th graders. He was a favorite teacher, known for sparking interest in learning, gently correcting students and sharing his sense of humour with them. Tom shared these gifts until his well-deserved retirement in 2005.
Tom was a dedicated family man and is survived by his wife of 60 years, Karen Hackman, his children Bridgette (Troy Uahinui) Hackman, Jennifer (Steve Van Kuiken) Hackman, Sara Hackman, Erin Claire Hackman, and Patrick Hackman, his grandchildren Isa Van Kuiken, Thomas Ventura and Matthew Ventura, his sister Janet (John) Amicon, sister-in-law Laurie (Terry) Cox, grandchildren by marriage Hanna (Mike Zazon) Van Kuiken, Aaron (Ashley) Van Kuiken, Derek Uahinui and Zachary Uahinui, and great-grandchildren through marriage Reid, Marlo and Scout.
Tom was loved by many for his quick wit, generous spirit and constant smile. He made friends everywhere he went. Tom's zest for life included hobbies such as woodcarving, playing the accordion, and outdoor activities like fishing, chopping wood, and skiing. He was an active member of the Izaak Walton League. His diverse interests extended to recreational activities like roller skating, water skiing, and snow skiing, displaying his adventurous spirit. He also enjoyed playing games like Canasta and was an esteemed member of a Canasta Card club. Thomas found joy in intellectual pursuits, proving his versatility by playing Scrabble in Latin.
In honor of his memory and legacy, funeral services will be held at St. Louis Church in Owensville. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial service beginning at 11:30 AM. The burial will immediately follow at St. Louis Church Cemetery. A lunch reception will be held at St. Philomena Church once services have concluded.
We mourn the loss of a good and kind man, and we find solace in knowing that Thomas Anthony Hackman's spirit will live on through the memories he created and the lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.

Alexander; Great-grandfather of 14; Brother of Betty, Elaine, Patricia, and Connie. John is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Along with his parents, John is preceded in death by his brothers Ned, William, and George.
John was a soft spoken, kind, caring, and loving man. He served his community for many years as a paramedic with the Goshen Township Fire Department and also served his country in the United States Army. John enjoyed going out on his boat, riding snowmobiles in Wisconsin, and listening to country music, especially Willie Nelson and Jimmy Buffet. John will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.
John passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 77. Resident of Byrdstown, TN. Randy was always ready with a plan and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Randy had a great love for horses and cherished his 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass. His dog Chief and his granddog Daisy, were his loyal companions, and he found joy in every moment spent with them. Despite the challenges and obstacles that life threw in his way, Randy's warrior spirit remained unbroken. Always resilient, he embraced life with an unwavering go-getter spirit.
An aficionado of music, Randy had a zest for life that was infectious to all who knew him. Always on the lookout for new adventures and experiences, he approached each day with enthusiasm and a contagious sense of humor.
Randy is survived by his loving partner of 25 years Roxanne Prater, his children Renisha (Robert Johnson) Barker, David (Angela) Barker, Katha Barker, Destiney Barker, Jessica (Kenny Jinkens) Barker and Rachelle Lyn (Keith Shures) Barker. His grandchildren David Barker, Briana and Hayden Peyton, Aurora, Skyler, Mason and Ronin Hill, Evelyn Kohler, Vivian Barker, Morgan and Parker Dause, Brielle and Carson Shures. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon of Loveland, Ohio. He was devoted father to sons, Timothy P. "Tim" of Blanchester, OH, and Jason D. of Milford, Oh.
Beloved Granddaughter Kylie S. of Blanchester, OH. Beloved brother James D. "Jim" (Joy) of Granville, OH. He leaves a nephew, Matthew A. Jung and many loved cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Edna M. Jung (nee Christen) and brother Julius G. "Gerry".
Jack was an Air Force Veteran, serving from 1966 to 1970. He was stationed in South Korea DMZ, Wright Pat Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio and Patrick Air Force Base in Florida. He was a University of Cincinnati graduate. He received a Bachelor degree in Industrial Management.
Jack was a member of the Milford Masonic Lodge. Jack enjoyed travel, especially in his RV. He made many trips and saw a lot of the US. He also enjoyed trips to Europe during his retirement.
Arrangements are being made by Evans Funeral Home in Milford, Ohio. A celebration of his life will be held on May 11 from 11 AM to 3PM at Miami Township Civic Center, 6101 Meijer Drive, Milford, Ohio 45150 in the Mulberry Room.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Holly Flood Keller, and his 4 beautiful children: Caleb, Corey, Gabriella and Cameron Keller.
Kraig is also survived by his siblings, Kay (Rich) Anderson, Kim (Ralph) Rehkamp, Kip (Linda) Keller, Kevin (Teri) Keller, Kris (Bill) Misch, Kyle (Jackie) Keller, and Kelly Keller; parents-in-law, Dan and Connie Flood; brothers-in-law Jeff (Noelle) Flood, Gary (Tasha) Flood; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Kraig was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Jeanne Keller.
Kraig's journey began in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 5, 1962, as the seventh of eight children. He loved being a part of a big family. His passion for wrestling bloomed early after being exposed to the sport by his big brothers, culminating in victory as the 1980 OHSAA State Champion, an honor yet unmatched by any Finneytown High School athlete. Kraig's talent led him to a full scholarship at Wright State University, where he soared as one of the university's most exceptional wrestlers, earning the distinction of All-American and ranked 8th in the nation, with multiple NCAA qualifications.
Beyond his athletic pursuits, Kraig was a maestro of the guitar, finding joy in music, particularly during his time with the rock band, Ricochet. An adventurer at heart, he embraced the outdoors, reveling in the simplicity of camping. Kraig's wanderlust led him on a year-long global expedition with just a backpack and his guitar. Having met the love of his life, Holly, before he left, the two were able to spend six months of this journey exploring the world together. Their union, born from shared experiences, led to an engagement and ultimately they married on September 19, 1998, a testament to their enduring bond.
Kraig was an amazing father. He loved spending time with his four children, exposing them to his many passions: music, camping, travel, and sports just to name a few. In his professional life, Kraig's innate charisma and acumen as a salesman flourished, earning him much success in multiple industries. His genuine warmth and affability endeared him to all he encountered, leaving an indelible mark on countless lives.
Kraig's journey with Alzheimer's was not easy for him or his family but it's marked by their unwavering strength and resilience, as they all faced each day with grace and dignity. His love for his family was always present, and his memory will forever be a source of inspiration to all who knew him.
Kraig loved the Lord and led his family to embrace the Lord. His commitment was demonstrated through his countless hours serving at Crossroads anywhere he was needed.
His family takes peace in knowing he is with his Lord and Savior.

Elmer Hershel Raisor - August 13, 1943 - April 05, 2024

Obituary Preview: In Loving Memory of Elmer H. Raisor A beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and Vietnam Veteran, Elm lived a life of dignity, honor, and service to his country and family. Elm decided to serve his country and volunteered to join the United States Army in 1965. After completing his basic training at Infantry School he volunteered for Airborne School at Fort Binning, Georgia, where he was awarded his Parachutist Badge or Wings, which was one of his most proud accomplishments. Elm was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell KY, he deployed to Vietnam with the historic 173rd Airborne Brigade and served in Combat with 173rd Airborne at Bien Hoa, South Vietnam, and later with the 25th Infantry Division, 2nd Battalion Wolf Hounds at Cu Chi SVN. Elm participated in Operation Cedar Falls, the largest American ground operation of the Vietnam War. During his tour in Vietnam, he proudly served as an Infantryman and was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge and Bronze Star as well as The Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, and Vietnamese Campaign Medal. Upon his return from Vietnam he was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division. Elm rose to the rank of Sergeant E5 during his service. He embodied courage and dedication in the face of adversity. His military service was a testament to his selfless commitment to protecting the freedoms we all cherish. Elmer was preceded in death by Jean, wife, friend, mother of his children, and partner in life of 55 years. Elm was a steadfast patriarch, showering his loved ones with unconditional love, wisdom, and guidance. To his children Carla, Sean, and Christa, sons-in-law Bill and Benjamin, grandchildren Megan, Christopher, Fitzwilliam, and Colton, and great-grandchildren Olive, Evelyn, Rowan, and Caroline, he was a constant source of pride, support, and inspiration as he witnessed his family grow over the generations. His life was a shining example of sacrifice, resilience, and devotion to both nation and kin. Though he is no longer with us, Elm's enduring spirit, core values, and the countless beautiful memories he created will forever warm our hearts. We find solace knowing his legacy continues to inspire us all to live lives of principle and integrity. A man amongst men, Elm will be tremendously missed yet celebrated eternally. May he rest in eternal peace, for his profound impact on this world will reverberate through the ages.

Mike spent many years in the mortgage loan industry before retiring from 5/3rd Bank.
Mike loved the University of Kentucky Wildcats and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed playing Euchre and Poker.

Karl grew up in the Clifton area of Cincinnati and attended Roger Bacon High School. In September, 1964 he married Anna B. Wagers, his wife for 56 years who passed away in November, 2020. Together they had 3 children - Pamela, who family calls Jeanny, Audra and Joey.
Karl loved to share stories with his family and friends about his childhood, experiences in Vietnam and ordinary, everyday events. He is known for his passion for golf and his love for crossword puzzles, nurturing a sharp mind and an adventurous spirit throughout his life. A proud supporter of the Cincinnati Reds baseball team, his enthusiasm for sports extended to his alma mater, University of Cincinnati, where he graduated and found immense joy in following the Bearcat football and basketball teams.
Having dedicated a significant portion of his life to Procter & Gamble, Karl commenced his career with the company at a young age, eventually becoming a Marketing Analyst and immersing himself in the world of consumer goods. His commitment and loyalty were unwavering, shaping a lifelong career that brought him fulfillment and satisfaction.
In service to his country, Karl enlisted in the Navy on January 2, 1964, and was honorably discharged on July 12, 1968, having reached the rank of FTG2 and serving in the Vietnam War. His military experience further enriched his life, instilling in him values of discipline and courage that would define his character.
A compassionate and dedicated individual, Karl impacted the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence will be greatly missed, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of his company.
Karl is survived by his children Pamela (Jeff) Gross, Audra Sauter, and Joseph (Sharon) Sauter, his grandchildren Nyla, Bridget and Shannon and a sister, Ernestine. He is preceded in death by his parents Ernst and Anna Sauter and his wife of 56 years Anna B. Sauter.
Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, on Tuesday, April 30th from 6 PM until time of memorial services beginning at 7 PM. Burial, with full military honors, will be May 1st at the Dayton National Cemetery.
May Karl Joseph Sauter rest in peace, surrounded by the love and fond memories he leaves behind. His legacy will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who carry his memory in their hearts.

Karin worked as an interpreter for the Deaf community, along with being a homemaker. Not only did she take care of her large family; she canned the garden vegetables, fruits, juices, jams and jellies. She quilted, knitted, and crocheted many beautiful items for family and friends. She was a member of the Dayton Knitting Guild and the Brown County Quilters receiving many ribbons at the Brown County Fair. Her spiritual being was important to Karin. She was a member of the Brown County Ursuline Companions. She was an active member of the St. Angela Merici Parish, in Fayetteville. She is survived by her husband, Richard Burwinkel, children and spouses; Jennifer & Christopher Stuttler, Christine & Robert Halker, Cheryl & Trevor Egnor, Adam & Rachel Burwinkel, Kevin & Katie Burwinkel, grandchildren; Chloe, Olivia, Cora, Isaac, Brian, Trenton, Peter, Weston, Bobby, Piper, Shawn, Caleb, and Jared, brother and sister-in-law; Bob & Sharon Coltrane, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
