Obituary Preview: Clifford T. Haney, 82, of Troy, more recently of Sidney, passed away at 3:50 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. He was born September 8, 1939 in Piqua to the late Junius and Evelyn (Jacobs) Haney. He married Zena L. Norris; and she preceded him in death.
Survivors include four children, Thomas (Rosie) Haney of Charlotte, North Carolina, Taunya (Doug) Teel of Roseville, Illinois, Anthony Haney of Sidney, Tina (James) Lyons of Houston; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters, Helen Stiffler of Troy, and Joyce (Ron) McClurg of Ft. Recovery; and several nieces and nephews who he was very close to. He was preceded in death by one son, Scott Thomas.
Mr. Haney served in the United States Army for two years. He worked as a welder for various companies over the years. He loved to be outside and spend his time fishing, camping, and enjoying a cold beer. He looked forward to family gatherings and enjoyed spending time with his family.

MARY LOUISE SMITH - September 12, 1924 - April 19, 2022

Obituary Preview: Mary Louise Smith, 97 of Greenville, formerly of Piqua, passed away at 11:24 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the Brethren Retirement Community. She was born September 12, 1924 in Darke County to the late Edward and Martha E. (Shuttleworth) Fourman. She married Ezra O. Smith December 29, 1945 in Darke County and he preceded her in death in 1998.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon (Dennis) Booher of Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania; a daughter in law, Karen Smith of Troy; a sister in law, Donna Fourman of Greenville; eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Including her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter and son in law, Linda & Doug Link; her son, Larry J. Smith; and five brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Smith attended Bradford High School and was a longtime member of the Piqua Church of the Brethren. Mary was a hardworker her whole life and had worked for Atlas Superior for many years, and then as the head cook at the Joint Vocational School for ten years before retiring in 1985. She enjoyed being active with the Ladies Fellowship of the Church group in the past and was pleased with her care and friendships made over the years at the Brethren Retirement Community. Mary was an excellent cook and loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren and also root on her Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds. Mary will be missed by all those who loved her.

GARY DEE MEEK - September 09, 1942 - April 18, 2022

Obituary Preview: Gary Dee Meek, 79, of Piqua, went home to be with his Lord Monday, April 18, 2022 at Upper Valley Medical Center. Born Sept 9, 1942 In Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Herschel and Marguerite Griffith Meek who preceded him in death, Gary was educated in the public schools of Louisiana, graduating in 1960 from Amite High School, Amite, Louisiana. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education with a minor in Business in 1965 from McNeese State College and earned a Masters of Education from Wright State University.  In college he was a five- year member of the McNeese State Cowboy Marching and Concert band, playing tuba and French horn. He was also a member of the Blue Key National Honor Society.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Deborah (Applegett) Meek, as well as his children Cassandra Dawn (Dane) Widney and Adam (Heather) Meek. He was Big Daddy and Grandpa to 7 grandchildren, Drake and Danielle Widney, Katelyn (Trey) Vigen, Gavin and Jacey Meek, Lilah and Landon Braaksma.
He was a born again Christian and served the Lord in many areas during his lifetime. He was a Sunday School teacher, Moderator, Deacon, choir member, choir director and praise and worship leader at Piqua Baptist church and Union Baptist church before becoming a member of The Valley Church, Piqua. He began his teaching career at Piqua High School in 1966, and retired in 2001 after 35 years teaching American History and Psychology. He was a much-loved teacher as attested to by many former students.  He was the 1st advisor to the newly formed Key Club, sound man for Piqua Show Choir, the Company, for 15 years, Assistant Marching Band Director for 20 years; filmed football games for the coaching staff, and served as Social Studies Dept. Chairman for many years.
Following his teaching career he began a new avocation as an archivist, employed as Coordinator of the Local History Dept. at the Piqua Public Library. He held this position for 18 years until his retirement in March of this year. His department was greatly praised as being one of the best in the region.  He said he was blessed to have 2 avocations in his lifetime that he dearly loved. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

ROBERT A. "RED" BOMHARD - January 08, 1923 - April 14, 2022

Obituary Preview: Robert A. “Red” Bomhard, 99 of Piqua passed away at 11:21 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Piqua Manor. He was born January 8, 1923 in Piqua to the late Arthur C. and Leota (Dill) Bomhard. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie (Dill) Bomhard in 1988, and his brothers Arthur A. and Neil M. Bomhard. Robert graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1940, and he was a lifelong resident of Piqua.
Robert proudly served in WWII in the 1303rd Engineers General Services Regiment under General Patton’s Third Army. He served in both the European and Japanese theatres, and was among the first Americans to land in Japan after they surrendered.
After Robert was discharged from the Army, he worked for Hobart Manufacturing for a short time, and then worked for the Burroughs Corporation for 30 years as a repairman.
He had many relatives that included the Bomhard, Dill, Lange, and Ike families. In his free time he enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing.
A graveside service to honor his life will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Forest Hill Cemetery with full military honors being provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Survivors include two daughters, Barbie Rinehart, Mary Pulfer-Tangeman, both of Sidney; five grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Ernest Skillman; four sisters, Patricia Heslep, Treva Kinney, Janet Tucker, Maxine Strunk; and her son, R.L. Hammons, Jr.
Ms. Hammons was a wonderful homemaker and mother. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and playing bingo. Most importantly, she loved her family very much and enjoyed the time she was able to spend with them.

She married Warren Powell September 30, 1994 in Troy, and he preceded her in death January 22, 2012.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Jack) Littleton of Piqua and Susan Boryca of Northlake, Texas; seven grandchildren, Beth (Lynn) Maniaci, Tom Littleton, Chris (Jen) Boryca, Jenny (Adam) Arey, Rob (Jenelle) Bolton, Amber Bolton, and Aaron (Anne) Bolton; eleven great grandchildren; a son-in-law, J.C. Bolton; and a sister in law, Nancy Baldwin of Springfield. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Anne Ross and Carol Bolton; and a son in law, Walter Boryca.
Mrs. Powell was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1947, and went on to work as an LPN at Grandview Hospital, Stouder Hospital and Dettmer Hospital and retired after 25 years of caring service. Her biggest passion was tending to her garden and enjoying her pretty flowers. Avery liked to make Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls for her family. She cherished her family and friends and she will be deeply missed by those that loved her.

He married Theresa D. Clawson June 29, 1951 in Piqua; and she preceded him in death December 1, 2016.
Survivors include two sons, Rick (Bev) Snyder of Piqua, Chris (Leisa Spears) Snyder of Union, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Nick (Amy) Snyder, Andrew (Kendra) Snyder, Ashley (Raymond) Anthony, Delaney Snyder, Dylan Snyder, Dawson Snyder, Kaylin Mulcahy, Lauren Mulcahy, Braden Mulcahy; four great grandchildren, Lincoln, Olivia, Jenna, Owen; two brothers, Ron (Susan) Snyder of Minster, Keith (Rosie) Snyder of Piqua; and one sister, Norma Lyons of Columbus. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Snyder; and five sisters, Donna Lemmon, Sue Lavey, Betty Giesseman, Marceil Apple, and Maxine Russell.
Mr. Snyder was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He was the Owner and Sales Representative for Snyder’s Incorporated over 40 years before his retirement. He was active with the Miami County Korean War Veterans where he served as the Secretary for many years, the V.F.W. 40th Infantry, and served as a Miami County Veterans Commissioner. He enjoyed taking his Army vehicle in parades locally as well as to Branson, Missouri for Veterans week. He was honored to be invited to drive his vehicle in Washington D.C.’s Veterans parade. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. Dale was extremely patriotic and was a proud veteran. He loved showing his support to his country by passing out flags to children everywhere he went.
A service to honor his life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Larry Butt officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington where full military honors will be provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. MARGARET E. "PEGGY" CHENEY - November 05, 1935 - April 01, 2022

Cheney “Honey”, also known as Peggy, was surrounded by her loving family as she went home to see the Lord at 5:50 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2022.  She was born November 5, 1935 in Lima to the late Clarence “Click” and Ethel (Richter) O’Connor.  She married Thomas J. Cheney June 18, 1955 in Lima; he preceded her in death December 3, 2019.
Survivors include Cynthia (August) Cianciolo of Piqua, Craig (Susan) Cheney of Piqua, Sandra McNatt of Indialantic, Florida, Maria (Todd) Luft of Sarasota, Florida, Tom (Jamie Brown) of Piqua, a foster child Tina Ross-Colby of Alexandria, Virginia; fourteen grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren with one on the way.  Other survivors include her three brothers Phil (Joellen) O’Connor of South Carolina, Jim (Darlene) O’Connor of Florida and Donnie (Becky) O’Connor of Lima; and one sister Kathy (Bill) Neiswander of Virginia; as well numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Cheney and a great grandson, Angelo David Cianciolo.
Peggy attended and graduated from St. Gerard’s Catholic School in Lima.  She had a wonderful group of friends and kept in touch with her classmates, which were all beautiful friendships.   After marrying Tom and moving to Piqua, she became a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she attended mass every Saturday evening.  She was often accompanied by her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter’s family.  One of her favorite things was to watch some of her grandchildren serve during mass.  Peggy also enjoyed traveling the world with her husband and other family members.  When given the opportunity for an evening out with friends, Peggy always took advantage of the offer especially if she could sip on Canadian Club or a glass of Pinot Grigio with A LOT OF ICE.  Peggy made many friends and each one of them was near and dear to her in a way they may have not known, but she loved big and enjoyed and was grateful for all the moments in which she was given.  Whatever she was called: Peggy, Honey, Aunt Peg or Mom truly didn’t matter, unless of course she was called Margaret and then you were given the side eye “Mean Aunt Peg” look.  She was loved beyond measure and will be missed more that words can express.

Obringer October 21, 1961 at St. Mary Catholic Church; and she preceded him in death January 28, 2012.
Survivors include three daughters, Jeanne (Mark) Conrad of Edgewood, Kentucky, Kathleen (Jeff) Hosner of Beavercreek, Theresa (Chris) Felkel of Lexington, South Carolina; a son, James (Lisa) McKale of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, Michael McKale of Duncansville, Pennsylvania; and two sisters, Connie McKale of Kettering, Kay Vagedes of Troy.
Mr. McKale was a 1956 graduate of Piqua Catholic High School and earned his Chemical Engineering Degree from the University of Dayton in 1961. He retired in 2001 as the Quality Control Manager and Chemical Engineer of Dragon Products in Rockland, Maine. He was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church having served as an Acolyte, Lector, Eucharistic Minister and on its Building Committee and School Board. Additionally, he enjoyed his time coaching little league baseball in his younger years.

He was born March 24, 1940 in Piqua to the late Carl W. and Bessie (Edwards) Faehl. He married Shelba J. Hensley August 28, 1978 in Troy; and she preceded him in death November 18, 2010.
Survivors include three children, Carl J. (Cynthia) Faehl of Piqua, Darla (Bobby) Herron of Piqua, Matt Heslep of Sidney; six grandchildren, Nathan (Anne) Faehl, Kyle Alcorn, Robert (Cedar) Herron, Ryan Herron, Arnold (Emily) Thompson, Christina (Brantley) Warren; numerous great grandchildren; and two sisters, Juanita Jolliff of Piqua, and Shirley (Bill) Dye of Bradford.
Mr. Faehl served proudly in the United States Marine Corps from 1958-1960. He worked for over 30 years for Inland Manufacturing as a tool and dye operator; from which he retired. As a die hard Marine, he was a life member of the AmVets Post 88 where he was active for many years serving on the Color Guard. He was also a proud life member of the National Rifle Association. He loved Southwest Texas; the cowboy culture, the attitude and the way of life. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.
A service to honor his life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Conover near Kiser Lake. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. He was born November 24, 1956 in Piqua to the late Ward L. “Louie” and Henrietta (Carter) Halm. He married Jacquelin T. Thomas May 20, 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada; and she survives.
Other survivors include a stepson, Rob (Melanie) Valentine of Columbus; a stepdaughter, Julie (Samuel Reck) Landers of Piqua; two grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alexandra; a brother, Dick (Susan) Hodges of Piqua; a sister, Lou Ellen (Cork) Oakes of Piqua; his nieces and nephews, Faye Oakes, Cody (Colleen) Oakes, Brent (Janel) Hodges; and his great nephews.
Mr. Halm was a 1975 graduate of Piqua Central High School. He worked as an over the road truck driver for over twenty-five years. He then became the proud owner and operator of SHarpco where he specialized in tool sharpening. Scott loved cars, whether he was restoring them, participating and attending car shows or enjoying them at races; especially NASCAR. He also enjoyed spending time driving his sand buggy. Scott was a patient and caring man who loved his family and was happy to share his advice and opinion with you. He was a constant in the lives of his family and was always happy to help; no matter if it was as the family taxi driver, the house mover, mechanic, or anything in between, he would gladly lend a hand. He was willing to drive to Columbus, Alabama or North Carolina whenever his family needed him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

John A. Gibson Jr., 73, of Piqua, passed away suddenly at his residence. He was born April 19, 1948 in Flemington, West Virginia to the late John A. and Virginia (Bell) Gibson Sr. He married Cinda L. Armstrong June 27, 1970 in Ansonia, and she survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Michelle (Benjamin) Garber of Piqua; a son, Shane (Linda) Gibson of Salem; and six grandchildren, Austin (Ashton) Garber, Isaiah (Maria) Garber, Navie Garber, Braydon Gibson, Gabi Gibson, Troy Gibson. He was preceded in death by three brothers, James, George and Joe Gibson.
Mr. Gibson graduated from high school and enlisted in the United States Marines to serve in the Vietnam War where he was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He was an accomplished Tool & Die maker for the A.O. Smith Company of Tipp City. He devoted much of his time helping other veterans as a Sponsor of Alcoholics Anonymous. He enjoyed fishing, playing Euchre, his pets Coco, Rascal , and Chloe, and he loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Obituary Preview: Katelyn Marie Lewis, 25, of DeGraff, formerly of Piqua, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 while surrounded by her family and beloved pets. She is survived by her parents, Stephanie & Brian (Petrequin) Sells and Matt & Julie Lewis; her sister, Kristen Lewis; and her stepbrothers, Evan Sells, Jayden Sells; and her grandparents, Lynn Niswonger, Peg Sells, Sheila Petrequin and Donald Lewis. Her quality of life was enhanced by many wonderful friends and caregivers who provided love and support. Katelyn was preceded in death by her grandmother, Kathy Lewis; grandfathers, Keith Petrequin, Bob Niswonger, Storm Sells; great grandparents, Herbert and Ida Pencil, Patricia Moran, John and Grace Tripp, and Pete and Ann Lewis.
Katelyn was a member of A Kid Again, A Special Wish, and was a 2016 graduate of Piqua High School. Katelyn faced many challenges with her cerebral palsy that set her apart from her peers in many ways, but she made friends everywhere she went. Her bright blue eyes and beautiful smile would light up your soul. Her laughter was contagious. Her love of music made her van rides fun and helped her through the many hospital stays. She was guarded and loved by her fur babies through the years. Her favorite time of the year was summer when she could soak up the sun or float in the pool. She may have never walked or talked but she left footprints on the hearts of her loved ones. She was a light of purity and happiness. The family was so blessed to have their Christmas Angel, but now she flies with butterflies.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her doctors; Dr. Cheryl Kuck, Dr. Susan Davis-Brown, Dr. David Franz, Dr. Stephen Wolf, Dr. Adam Mezoff, Dr. Michal Albert; as well as Dayton and Cincinnati Children’s and their staff, especially 3 West at Dayton Children’s, as well Cherish Hospice. They provided care with dignity, grace and treated Katelyn’s family like their own in the hardest of times.

He was born April 14, 1942 in Bellefontaine to the late Vernon and Mary (Bishop) Walters. He married Roziland “Ozzy” Shumaker March 11, 1967 in Piqua; and she preceded him in death December 31, 1994.
Survivors include four daughters, Angie (Jack) Baumann of Troy, Christina (Jason) LaForce of Eaton, Melissa Walters of Piqua, Kylie (Jeremy) Dickson of St. Paris; nine grandchildren, including his roommate and caretaker for the last few years, Cameron Horen; two great grandchildren; one brother, Ron (Merri Ellen) Walters of Conover; and one sister, Jeanette (Jim) Bradley of Carson City, Nevada. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle Walters; and an infant brother.
Mr. Walters served proudly in the United States Army in Korea. He worked for many years as a security officer as well as a paramedic. Additionally, he dedicated many years to the Army National Guard as well as the Dayton Police Department where he would teach recruits about firearms and shooting drills. He loved history and spent a lot of his time researching World War II. He was a kind and caring man who dedicated himself to his family.
A gathering of family and friends to honor his life will be held from 10:00-12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. She enjoyed crocheting, watching television programs and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews who were deeply special to her. She was a very kind soul who absolutely loved her job and caring for her patients.

Mr. Butts worked for many years for General Tire, American Trim, and Hobart Brothers. He served proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Covington, AmVets and the American Legion both in Sidney, and the Loyal Order of Moose in Troy. He enjoyed working on and restoring cars. He enjoyed watching football and baseball; especially the Cincinnati Bengals, Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed being around his family and playing computer games.
A graveside service to honor his life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2022 at the Dayton National Cemetery where full military honors will be provided. Mrs. Curtis was a graduate of Piqua Central High School. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. She worked for a short time as an operator for Ohio Bell Telephone. She was a wonderful homemaker and mother. She enjoyed cooking, baking and was an avid reader. She was involved for many years in the Pins to Proms Mother’s Club. Additionally, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a woman of great fortitude and kindness. When she said she was your friend, she lived up to that. She will be remembered for her caring nature and her sweet smile.

Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Coppock of Piqua; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren. She was from a family of fourteen siblings; all have preceded her in death with exception of her sister, Edythe Carla VanHoogen of Boise, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Gene and Greg Drennan; and two sisters.
Her love for her children knew no boundaries. She loved them unconditionally and fervently prayed for their well being and salvation. She lived for and showed love for her children- to her first born Pamela and her sons Gene and Greg. Peggy had a heart for Christ and her family and wanted nothing more than for all of her children and grandchildren to know the Lord. How fitting that Peggy would go to be with the Lord on 3:16.  Peggy was a saving grace for her three oldest grandchildren during a time when they needed her most and continued to be there for all of her grandchildren. A special thank you to the nurses and nurses’ aides of Koester Pavilion and Hospice of Miami County.
A celebration to honor her life will be held by her family on her birthday this summer. Burial will take place at Fletcher Cemetery. Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home is assisting the family. Estelle Agnes Heiner, 94, of Piqua, passed away at 6:07 p.m. March14th, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Estelle was the devoted wife of Harold L. Heiner, with whom she shared over 72 years of marriage. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Estella (Oldring) Mooney and was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Mooney Jr.
Graduating from the Bellevue School of Nursing, New York City, New York in the class of 1949, Estelle devoted her life to caring for others.  As a Registered Nurse, she worked for the American Red Cross and, beginning in 1973 for 15 years, she was a school nurse for the Piqua City Schools including Nicklin, South Street, Staunton Street, High Street, Springcreek and Washington Elementary Schools. It brought Estelle joy to care for those in the communities where she lived. In 1978, Estelle returned to college and graduated with a degree from Central State University to teach health classes in the schools.
As a faithful member of the St. Mary’s & St. Boniface Catholic Churches, Estelle especially valued her time as a religious education teacher, Altar Society president and member for 15 years and St. Clare Eucharistic Chapel Perpetual Adoration adorer for twenty years. She found pleasure in being a part of the Piqua community as a member of the Piqua Cotillion Club, Columbian Club and YWCA of Piqua for over twenty years. She was an Individual Life Trustee for The Piqua Community Foundation.
In her retired life, she with her husband enjoyed viewing the world on 19 cruises, traveling through European and Pacific Ocean countries and the Holy Land.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Harold (Sheila) Heiner Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, Tari (Craig) Lewis of Nashville, Tennessee; Patricia Heiner, Piqua, Susan (Howard) Hendershott of Knoxville, Tennessee, Steven (Donna) Heiner of Fogelsville, Pennsylvania, Nancy (Kevin) Walker of Washington, DC; 23 grandchildren, Julia (Darren) Keyes, Jenna (Gabriel) Molnar, Harold (Denise)  Heiner III, Mya Heiner, Scott Lewis, Stephanie (Dr. Mark) Fritz, Suzanne Lewis, Samantha (Michael) Callaghan, Christine (Dr. Matthew) Blair, Rev. Fr. Michael Hendershott, Mary (Joseph) Roth, Sarah (Logan) Taylor, Dr. Anne Hendershott, John Hendershott, Andrew Hendershott, Catherine Hendershott, Kelsey (Dr. Max) Gottschall, Dr. Kristen (Lt. Colin) Bakey, Michael Heiner, John Walker, Catherine Walker, Juliet Walker, Elizabeth Walker; and 26 great-grandchildren. Estelle’s love and care for her family will forever leave an indelible mark on the hearts and lives of her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael D. Jaqua who was killed in Vietnam.
Billy was a 1973 graduate of Piqua Central High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wright State University. He was an entrepreneur who was involved in many different industries. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with his grandchildren, and was an avid golfer. He was a past member of the Piqua Jaycees and cherished the friendships he made during those years. Additionally, he enjoyed being heavily involved in political activism. Throughout the years, Billy liked being engaged in his community and enjoyed the opportunity to be philanthropic; always very giving of his time and talents through his community involvement. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and always remembered for his outspoken opinions, total honesty, quick wit, spontaneity and sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Smith, George Haddox; and a sister, Verda Johnson.
Mrs. Goodnite was a devout member of Calvary Bible Church in Arcanum. She worked as a machinist for the former Copeland Corporation for 29 years before her retirement. She was a hardworking and dedicated woman. She was a lover of animals and enjoyed watching the birds. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed feeding others, especially those in need. She was selfless and would always put the needs of others, especially her family, before her own. She enjoyed taking walks, collecting rocks, as well as shells from the beach. She was a talented poet and loved to write. She was a woman strong in her faith and enjoyed her church home. She will be deeply missed by those who love her.
