Obituary Preview: Urban Zimmer, 83, of Westphalia, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at StoneBridge Senior Living – Westphalia surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 4, 1940 in Vienna; a son of the late William and Alvina (Schmitz) Zimmer. On May 8, 1964, he was united in marriage to Betty Rothove.
Urban was a 1958 graduate of Vienna High School. He served his Country in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962. Urban was a steel fabricator and retired from Delong’s Inc. after 38 years of service. In his spare time, he did different fabricating jobs for friends and family. He enjoyed his animals, having had horses, pigs, cows and various other animals on their small acreage over the years.
Urban is survived by his; wife of 59 years, Betty; his children: Michael Zimmer (Valerie Collins) of Linn, and Bethany Cross (John) of Westphalia; brother: Marvin Zimmer of Vienna; sisters: Mary Lou Reichel of Freeburg, Lorraine Stuecken (Roger) of Freeburg and Susie Bassett (Ken) of St. Roberts; grandchildren: Bradley Cross, Cole Cross and Nathan Stone; 11 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Urban was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Eddie Zimmer and Andrew Zimmer; sister: Millie Honse; brother-in-law: Joe Reichel; sister-in-law: Lavaughn Zimmer; grandson: David Collins and 2 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for a visitation with a prayer service starting at 4:15 p.m. at Hilke-Millard Funeral Home in Westphalia, Missouri. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 23, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia, Missouri with Fr. Dylan officiating. Burial with full Military Honors will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.

Francis "Frank" John Reichart - October 31, 1961 - January 15, 2024

Obituary Preview: Francis “Frank” John Reichart, 62, of Westphalia, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, January 15, 2024. He was born in Osage County, Missouri on October 31, 1961; a son to the late Joseph B. and Hedwig C. (Luechenhoff) Reichart. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Patricia “Pat” Moseley, in 2006.
Frank attended and graduated from St. Thomas Seminary in Hannibal, Missouri in 1979. He went on to gain his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Lincoln University in 1992. He dedicated his career to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), where he worked as an Environmental Chemist for 30 years. Frank started with MoDOT in 1993 as a Laboratory Chemist, in 1995 he was promoted to Analytical Chemist. In 1998, he took the role of Field Materials chemist. As Field Materials Chemist, he inspected cement and sign sheeting manufactures from around the region until he was promoted in 2004 to his current role as Environmental Chemist. As an Environmental Chemist, he did asbestos and lead inspections all over the State of Missouri.
Frank holds certifications in Asbestos Inspections, Asbestos Supervisor with Department of Natural Resources, and Lead Risk Assessor with Department of Health and Senior Services. Frank has a BS in Chemistry from Lincoln University. He also has a BS in BS. You could always count on Frank to get the job done. He took lots of pride in his work and coworkers. He never missed the opportunity to brag on his family and they were the center of his world.
Along with his work, Frank enjoyed many outdoor activities including farming, hunting, fishing, and just simply being outdoors. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan. Most of all, Frank cherished his friends and family and will be immensely missed by all who know and love him.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; sons, Sgt. Major Jason (Yvette) Reichart and Rodney (Sheryl) Staehle; daughters, Tonia (Jamie) Curry and Trisha (Daniel) Brown; grandchildren, Bryant, Ethan, Erik, and Jaylen Reichart, Katlyn and Cameron Staehle, Gunner Curry, Ella, Brantley, and Grayson Brown, and Austin and Jake Haake; great-grandchildren, Sebastian and Noah Haake; sisters, Constance M. Reichart and Barbara T. Reichart; and sister-in-law, Sandra Reichart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Hedwig; sisters, Karen Reichart, Susan Reichart, and Rose Huber; brothers, Jospeh Reichart and James Reichart; and brother-in-law, James Huber.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Hilke-Millard Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m.at the funeral home.

Arnold in VanCleve, Missouri, he survives at their home.
Pamela attended Fatima High School and was a long-time employee at Quaker Window. She loved being in the outdoors, fishing, gardening, and tending to her flower beds. She also enjoyed hosting birthday and holiday parties for her family, bird watching and puzzles.

Dorothy worked at Tweedie Shoe Factory, International Shoe Factory, McGraw Edison and retired from Johnson Control. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, watching soap operas, and going grocery shopping with her granddaughters. Her greatest joy was being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was born on September 16, 1960, in Jefferson City; a son of Stephen “Tip” and Mary (Schneider) Weber. He was united in marriage to Brenda Winkelman on September 19, 1987, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia, Missouri, she survives at their home.
He was a 1978 graduate of Fatima High School in Westphalia, Missouri. Kenny worked for his dad at Weber Equipment during and after high school and became the co-owner along with his brother in1994. After he sold the business in 2008, he enjoyed farming and tinkering around the family farm. Kenny loved to cook and spend time with his family that made him so proud. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing, thrifting and finding bargains with his wife, but he significantly loved being beloved “Popo” to his grandsons, giving gator rides, snuggles, and all the love one can take. He was a man who would drop everything immediately to help others, his phone always whistling as he checked in on and chatted with his countless friends and to proudly show off pictures of his children and grandsons.
In addition to his spouse of 36 years, he is survived by his father: Stephen “Tip” Weber; his children: Brady Weber (LeAnn) of Jefferson City, Caleb Weber (Madison) of Westphalia and Andria Zeilman (Nick) of Rich Fountain; brother: Keith Weber (Sheila) of Koeltztown; sisters: Kathy Poff of Jefferson City, Karen Bax (Bill) of Freeburg, and Kristy Meyers (John) of Olathe, Kansas; and his 5 beloved grandsons: Tyler Haslag, Sawyer Haslag, Celius Weber, Carter Weber, Lee Zeilman, and baby Weber due in May. Obituary Preview: Hildegard M. Bax, 97, of Koeltztown, Missouri, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Westphalia Hills Care Center surrounded by her family. She was born on August 8, 1926 in Osage County, Missouri; a daughter of the late Martin and Bernadine (Bock) Brandt. On November 20, 1946, she was united in marriage to Raymond Bax, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years, he passed away on June 7, 2000.
Hildegard attended Boes Country School near Linn, Missouri. Before her marriage she worked at Oberman Clothing Manufacturing Company. After her marriage she was a wife, mother, homemaker, farmer and later in the years she adored and babysat her grandchildren. Hildegard was a dedicated, passionate Christian. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown, Missouri and was the oldest living parishioner of the parish at the time of her death. She was also a member of the quilting circle and the Linn, Missouri Historical Society. Hildegard loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Judy Kempker of Jefferson City, Linda Wieberg (Richard) of Freeburg, and Norbert Bax (Terry) of Jefferson City; sister: Sr. Regina Brandt of San Antonio, Texas; brother-in-law: Tony Falter of Columbia; sisters-in-law: Marie Haller of Vienna and Lorene Brandt of Jefferson City; grandchildren: Lisa Bax Hueste (Alan), Steve Kempker, Kevin Wieberg (Robin), Danny Bax (Lisa), Troy Wieberg (Sue), and Stacey Bryan (Sam); great grandchildren: Whitney Hueste Kemper (Jacob), Taylor Hueste, Isaac, Courtney, Lorelei, Aubrey, Sophia, Raymond and Theodore Wieberg. Along with her parents and husband Raymond, Hildegard was preceded in death by her brothers: Norbert and Mary Ellen Brandt, Roman Brandt and Marty and Mary Brandt; son-in-law: Larry Kempker; sisters-in-law, Loretta and Al Brandt and Betty Falter; brother-in-law: Herbie Haller; and grandsons: Christopher and Bryan Kempker.

Friends will be received following the prayer service from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown with Fr. Joshua David Crede - July 27, 1983 - October 05, 2023

Obituary Preview: Joshua David Crede, 40, of Westphalia, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 5th, 2023 at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on July 27th, 1983, in Westphalia, Missouri. He was the son of Debbie Crede and the late David Crede.
He was a 2001 graduate of Fatima High school and attended St Joseph Catholic Grade School in Westphalia. Josh's dream was to play professional baseball, but he suffered complications from an automobile accident in 1999. He loved playing baseball with his brothers at a very early age. He played baseball and basketball for the Fatima Comets and American Legion baseball in the summers. As an adult, he coached several youth baseball teams.
Joshua worked for Weathercraft, Ronnoco Coffee, and the State of Missouri as the Governor’s aide investigating incoming mail for suspicious materials. He was most recently employed at Central Dairy until he was diagnosed with bladder cancer in March of this year.
He was an avid fan of all his nieces and nephews in their sports. He also enjoyed watching and quoting movies, playing the lottery, and collecting sports memorabilia, rare coins and bills. He was resourceful, strong as an ox, and had a crazy, often dry, sense of humor. He will be missed and cherished by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, David T. Crede; grandparents, Eugene and Marie Parris, and Adolph and Anna Crede; and his great uncle and singing buddy, Alois Crede.
He is survived by his mother, Debbie Crede; 3 siblings, Leigh Anne (Jose) Martin of Jefferson City, Brad (Kim) Crede, and Joe (Lisa) Crede all of Westphalia; his very special friend and companion, Melanie Biele of Jefferson City; eleven nieces and nephews, Abby Crede, Ellie Crede Jackson Crede, Anna Crede, Lucy Crede, Jace Crede, Joseph Travis, Brandon Martin, Jordan Martin, Kaeyla Lampe, and Aleesha Lampe; and great-nephews, Elijah Hammond and Kashton Lampe-Coleman.
There will be a private family service at Hilke-Millard Family Chapel in Westphalia, Missouri. A public Celebration of Life will take place on November 11, 2023 at Apple Creek Farms in Centertown, Missouri during the Joshua Crede Benefit.

He loved nature, flowers, animals, mountains, and camping. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed time spent with his loving family and friends. He also enjoyed attending bible studies and listening to worship services online since he was always on the road.
Dennis is survived by his parents, Robert Libbert and Sherry West; sons, Johnathan Rowden, Michael Libbert; daughter, Sherry Libbert; sister, Angela Dodd; grandchildren, Sofie Libbert, Jamison Libbert, and Astra Rowden. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Loretta Libbert; maternal grandparents, Robert and Lillie West; along with several aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Hilke-Millard in Westphalia. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Arlin West. Interment will take place at Southside Cemetery in Meta, Missouri.

Patricia "Pat" Ann Eichholz - May 26, 1944 - May 16, 2023

Obituary Preview: Patricia “Pat” Ann Eichholz, age 78, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, May 16th, 2023. She was born May 26th, 1944, in Albany, Georgia, to Robert and Helen (nee Fiveash) Natsch.
Born in Albany, Georgia, near an Army airfield, she moved to Jefferson City at the end of WWII. Pat graduated from Helias Catholic High School in 1962. She married Ronald “Ron” Eichholz in 1965 and started her family the following year. She went on to have four children, suffering the tragic loss of her firstborn in infancy.
Pat never had a desire to travel, but nonetheless lived in six states throughout her life. Moving each time to support her husband’s career, she maintained her own career in the healthcare industry, managing physician offices. After retiring in 2000, she and Ron relocated to the mountains of North Carolina in the summer months, and south Texas in the winter months. Upon the death of their oldest daughter, they moved home to Jefferson City. The snowbird lifestyle suited them, and they both loved their Texas family.
After the death of her husband, Pat waved Texas goodbye, and spent her remaining winters with her children. She adored her grandchildren and was happy to spend time with them. She enjoyed playing endless rounds of cards and board games with them. She will be sorely missed.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Eichholz; parents; sister, Laura Lepper; son, Scott Eichholz; and daughter, Angela Eichholz. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Kristen) Eichholz of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; daughter, Christina Rowe of Avon, Ohio, as well as grandsons, Jae, Jacob, Connor, and Jonathan, and granddaughter, Hannah. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Markway of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother, Greg Natsch of Jefferson City; brother, Bob Natsch of Edmond, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Matthew Flatley officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Joseph Parish Cemetery in Westphalia, Missouri following Mass.

Obituary Preview: Russell “Russ” Mertz, 52, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital. He was born February 6, 1971, in Jefferson City; a son to Ronald Francis and Jo Ann Marie (Eichholz) Mertz.
Russ was a 1989 graduate of Fatima High School. He worked at Scholastics, Inc. from 1992 until 1997 as a forklift operator. In 1997, he began working for Maytag until the company was bought out by Porite in 2002. He stayed during the acquisition and worked his way from wire harness production to Production Manager. Altogether, he put in 29 years of service at the company and was very proud of his accomplishments.
Russ was an avid sports fan; especially Missouri based teams. He loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Rams, and St. Louis Blues. He collected baseball cards and was always up to date on his favorite teams’ stats. Russ also enjoyed bowling and bowled with various leagues around mid-Missouri. In the summertime, he could often be found on the Osage River at Bonnots Mill. Most of all, he loved his dog and best friend, Zeuss. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and great-uncle and will be missed immensely by those who know and love him.
Russ is survived by his parents, Ron and Jo Ann; brother, Keith (Anita) Mertz, nieces, Dr. Katrina (Derick) Burke, Amanda (Craig) Stice, FNP, Toni (Dustin) Sneller, and Taylor (Mikael) Doke; nephew, Nikolay Mertz; 11 great-nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Zeuss. He was preceded in death by his brother, Doug Mertz; sister, Lois Mertz; paternal grandparents, Frank Mertz and Leona and Conrad Reinkemeyer; maternal grandparents, Clem and Bernadine Eichholz; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Hilke-Millard Funeral Home in Westphalia. A visitation will follow until 7:00 p.m. An additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia. Obituary Preview: Doris Jo Lauberth-Kempker, 60, of the Westphalia community, went to meet the Lord on Friday, March 17, 2023 at her home. Doris, born March 29, 1962, was the youngest of seven children of Jerome George and Esther Agnes (Fick) Lauberth. She was united in marriage on June 14, 1980 to Thomas Lee Kempker at Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg, Missouri.
Doris was a 1980 graduate of Fatima High School. She, along with her late husband, Tom, were both long-time employees of Quaker Window in Freeburg. They very much enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time on their pontoon boat on Truman Lake as well as the Osage River. They loved their dogs and enjoyed the companionship of their pets over the years.
As the youngest of seven children, Doris enjoyed a special and unique relationship with each of her six siblings. She is survived by Donna (Dick) Otto, Columbia; Jerry Lauberth, Bonnots Mill; Jeannie (Jim) Kampeter, Argyle; Neil (Darlene) Lauberth, Rich Fountain; Leon (Sue) Lauberth, Westphalia; and David (Patty) Lauberth, Freeburg; her mother, Esther Lauberth, Westphalia; brother-in-law, Bill (Peggy) Kempker, Chamois; sister-in-law, Connie (John) Brandt; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, who will miss their Aunt Doris greatly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; father, Jerome Lauberth; and in-laws, Herbert and Helen Kempker.

Obituary Preview: Albert “Al” Bernard Wieberg, 89, of Westphalia, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on March 3, 2023. He was born on June 21, 1933, in Argyle, a son of Adam Frank and Myrtle Helen (Replodge) Wieberg.
Albert was united in marriage on May 24, 1958, in Meta, to Rosalia Christine Hoeller. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia, and a member of the American Legion Post 544, Westphalia, for over fifty years, as well as being the treasurer for many of those years. In 2006, the Westphalia Lions Club awarded him the Alphonse J. Schwartze Award for his distinguished service to civic affairs in Westphalia. He recently served as the Grand Marshal of the 2022 Westphalia Christmas Parade. During his working life, he was employed by Von Hoffman Press for 42 years and served two years in the United States Army.
Albert enjoyed horses, fiddle playing, repairing lawnmowers, and always had a story or joke to share. He was an avid musician who played in the Country Boys Band and competed in several fiddle contests. Albert served his community in various ways which included the maintenance of the St. Joseph Catholic Church’s clock and bells and Westphalia Senior Citizen Housing. He was always willing to lend a hand when needed. Most importantly, Albert will be remembered for his love of his family, friends, and life in general. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his children, Ronald Wieberg (Peggy) of Vienna, Delbert Wieberg of Westphalia, O'Neil Wieberg (Amy) of Taos, and Nancy Wieberg of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Timothy Wieberg (Crystal), Rachelle Ocheskey (fiancé Mark Sundermeyer), Holly Wulff (Patrick), Jade Moeller (Matthew), Chase Wieberg (Madison Smith), and Kylie Wieberg (fiancé Jeremy Kee Jr.); great-grandchildren, Kadyn McCormack, Alex Wieberg, Claire Wulff, Evan Wulff, Sophia Wulff, Nash Sundermeyer, Hattie Sundermeyer, and Elouise Moeller. Three brothers, Adam Wieberg, Jr. (Kay), Vienna; Virgil Wieberg, Marys Home; and William “Bill” Wieberg (Vickie), New Bloomfield; and sister-in-law, Marcella Wieberg.

He was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1955. He worked for McDonnell Douglas upon leaving the military. He also worked for ABB from 1973 to 1998 as a forklift operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, umpiring Osage League baseball, and most of all coaching his daughters softball games. Kenneth enjoyed spending his free time with all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Obituary Preview: Terry Eugene Neuner, 75, of Westphalia, Mo., died peacefully in his sleep on Nov. 23, 2022. The first son of Fred Neuner and Betty McDaniel Neuner Tilson, he was born in Jefferson City on Nov. 9, 1947.
Terry started his long and varied career working on his father’s farm outside of Linn, Mo. He had climbed the career ladder from Meadow Gold Dairy worker to a job at 3M in global marketing for 50 countries. Terry was joined in marriage to Mary Hilkemeyer at St. Joseph Church, Westphalia, on Dec. 30, 1967.
After retiring from 3M, he returned to farming, raising the prized Kobe beef at his and Mary’s farm near Westphalia. He established Westphalia Winery and Vineyards at the same site. He was co-owner with Mary of Westphalia Inn. You could often find Terry on weekends upstairs in the Norton Room, bartending and pouring samples of his award-winning wines. Terry’s educational career has been as diverse. He is a graduate of Linn High School, Lincoln University, and University of Missouri Columbia, where he received his Masters of Science in Biochemistry. He also studied at Harvard and Columbia University during summers during the 1960s. Terry served in the U.S. Army Reserves as an artillery officer after completing ROTC. He was Company Commander of the unit in Jefferson City
The Neuners have lived in such various places as Columbia, Mo. , Oklahoma, Cleveland, Brussels, and Singapore. The couple’s first love has always been the old stone farmhouse on the Maries River, their current residence. Terry was especially proud of the achievements of his children and grandchildren.
Terry is survived by his wife Mary; his children, Eric Neuner (Araceli) of San Diego, Ca., Paul Neuner (Irene) of Louisville, KY, Christina Narendra (Andy) of Bali, Indonesia; siblings Steven Neuner of Dallas, Tx., Rick Neuner of Columbia, Mo; grandchildren Gilbert, Katherine, and Ursula Neuner of San Diego, Truman, Gerhard, Albert, Helen, and David of Louisville, and Sutji, Ina, and Dewi of Bali, Indonesia. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Tilson of Columbia.

Rosalia was a loving mother and homemaker. She was an active member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Rosalia spent most of her time sewing quilts, and gardening. She enjoyed babysitting, baking, and dancing.  She also had the unique ability to remember dates, and everyone’s birthdays, including distant cousins. Most of all, Rosalia cherished spending time with her family and watching her children and grandchildren grow. She will be dearly missed.
She was united in marriage to Albert B. Wieberg on May 24, 1958. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church for many years. Albert was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, going on float trips with his family, sitting on gravel bars and bar-b-quing. He loved helping his brothers on the farm and spending time with his family. Most of all, he loved his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. He will be immensely missed by all of those who were lucky to know him

Lori was a devoted nurse and passionate about the work she performed at Capital Region Medical Center. She was a dedicated mother who happily supported her sons in all of their endeavors. Being a grandmother was the joy of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Roger attended Fatima High School. As a teenager, he began his career working for the family business, Weber Meat Market. He operated the business for many years. Roger was a member of the Lion’s Club and a sponsor of many organizations, including the NRA and Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, muscle cars, being outdoors, telling tall-tales, and was a collector of any and all things. Most of all, Roger was a strong and proud supporter of his community, serving whenever and however he could, and always with a smiling face.

He was born on October 23, 1937 in Koelztown; a son of the late Herman and Christina (Heckman) Reinsch. Ed was united in marriage to Kathryn Angenendt on February 5, 1972 in Loose Creek.
Ed left school early to help on the family farm. He retired from International Shoe. Throughout the years he worked in several area grocery stores. Ed enjoyed squirrel hunting, working in the garden, mowing grass for his children and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. The greatest joy in his life was helping his children accomplish their goals and supporting them in all of their events. He was a loving husband, dad and grandpa and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathy Reinsch; children, Michelle Reinsch of Springfield, LaDonna Masters (Gayla) of Independence, Andrew Reinsch (Sarah) of Frankenstien, Matthew Reinsch (Amanda) of Holden and Amy Jones (Derrick) of Loose Creek; siblings, Dorothy Huhn of Westphalia, Jerome Reinsch of Wardsville and Norbert Reinsch (Renie) of Cuba; 12 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Ed was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Theodore and Nell Angenendt; brothers-in-law, Clarence Huhn and Paul Cortvrient; sister-in-law, Rosie Reinsch; niece, Diane Kroll; and best friend, Skip Nilges.

Emma spent a large majority of her free time sewing quilts, afghans, and clothing. She enjoyed spending time outdoors in the yard landscaping and mowing grass. She enjoyed dancing and passed that joy down to all five of her children while teaching them waltzes, two steps, and fast steps. Most of all, Emma cherished spending time with her family and watching her children and grandchildren grow.
She was united in marriage to Herman Bernard (Benny) Kempker on July 18, 1959. She is survived by her children, Gail Haslag (Wendell) of Bonnots Mill, Donnie Kempker (Debbie) of Westphalia, Kerry Bax (John) of Westphalia, Darren Kempker (Rachel) of Westphalia and Doyle Kempker (Sarah) of Wardsville; sister Rosalia “Sis” Wieberg (Albert) of Westphalia; fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Emma was preceded in death by her father Joe Hoeller, mother Christine Hoeller, brother Herman Hoeller and sister-in-law Salma Hoeller.
