She was born August 26, 1935 in Port Allegany, the daughter of DeForest and Leona (LaBarr) Baker. In Emporium, PA, she married Frederick Sizer, who died August 2004.
Mrs. Sizer was a graduate of Port Allegany High School and was employed by Motor Coil, in Emporium. She is survived by: a niece Pamela (Donald) Keech who took care of her Two step daughters; Karen Rhinebolt and Chris Hughes
Four step grandchildren and many other nieces and nephews. She wa preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother John Baker and a sister Euretta Amell
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 11:00- 12:00PM at the First Church of God, Main St., Eldred, Pa where funeral service will start at 12:00 noon with the Rev. James Kazimer, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Portage Township Cemetery, Sizerville, PA.

Mrs Black was a 1959 graduate of Austin High School Mrs. Black was employed at Emporium Specialities in Austin and at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in the maintenance department. She loved doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family She is survived by: Three children: Gary Joseph (Sheila) Foust of Coudersport, Dawn (Randy) Gee of Mina, PA and Brian (Mike Bagley) Foust of Port Allegany Three grandchildren: McKenna Gee, Dylan (Katie Jo) Foust, and Trevor Foust Three great grandchildren: Aria, Juliana and Keegan and several nieces, nephews and cousins
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, John Crandall.
Visitation and services will be held privately with the family. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany.

Obituary Preview: Port Allegany--Charles "Sonny" Nathanial Olmstead, 84, of Port Allegany, passed away on April 8, 2024, at Olean General Hospital, from a short illness.
Born August 15, 1939, in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of Llewellyn and Mary McCarthy Olmstead. On February 12, 1967, he married the former Lois Ann Hultz Gotshall, who predeceased him on May 15, 2020.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and served honorably for two years and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan for a short period of time.
He was employed at Dresser Rand of Olean, NY as a crane operator for 35 years, retiring in 2001.
Sonny enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outside, usually around animals. He was a member of the Olean, NY Rabbit Club and superintendent of the rabbit barn for McKean County Fair Association. He was a kind and gentle soul who liked to spend time with his family. He is survived by: three step children; Joy (Kim) Fortner of Port Allegany, Jill (Tom) Jordan of Smethport, and James (Monica) Gotshall, Jr. of Sevierville, TN seven grandchildren: Michelle (Adam) Brugh, Erin (Alvin) Loveless, Katrina (Blane) Murphy, Justin (Stacey) Gotshall, Gabe Gotshall, Levi Gotshall and Craig Fortner, along with several great grandchildren
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Clinton Jordan.

Robert F. Kinney - December 25, 1924 - March 05, 2024

Obituary Preview: Robert F. Kinney, 99 of Port Allegany passed away Tuesday March 5, 2024 in Coudersport Pa. Robert arrived on Christmas Day 1924, just as the noon train passed by, born a son to Fred and Esther (Seyler) Kinney, on the Portage Road Kinney Farm, Port Allegany PA. He had four siblings; John, Orton, and James Kinney and a sister Belle (Jack) Ball. Bob remained and worked on the family farm until the age of eighteen at which time he enlisted in the Army and volunteered for the Ski Patrol. Following basic training at Camp Hale he left for Italy as a member of the io" Mountain Division Ski Troop. He was a very proud World War II Veteran who enjoyed sharing
stories of his service years. Following the War he returned to Port Allegany and on November 20, 1948 married his sweetheart, Bernadine Thrash. At a young age Bob developed an interest in old automobiles that continued throughout his 99 years, including the acquisition and sale of old car parts, along with sharing his knowledge with other antique car buffs. One of his
most treasured automobiles was rumored to have been originally purchased by notorious bank robber John Dillinger for his girlfriend Mary Longnecker. His final working years before retirement were spent with the former North Penn Gas Company where he developed many long-lasting friendships.
A lover of animals he was rarely without a dog. In later years he could be found on many a summer day sitting on his front porch, with his dog, waiting for a passerby, looking forward to a visit.
Bob was a member of the AACA, Liberty Lodge # 505 Free and Accepted Masons and the Coudersport Consistory.
Robert is survived by one daughter; Rebecca Anjeski of Port Allegany PA, one son Retired Colonel Terry J. (Beverly) Kinney of San Antonio, TX.
three grandchildren; Denise M (Todd) Anderson of St. John's FL, Josh (Jorni) Kinney of Springfield, Brittany (Boe) Fogel of Port Allegany PA. eight great grandchildren; Thomas and Margaret Hughes, Saxon, Sawyer, Spike, and Star Kinney and Brooks and Beck Fogel. a daughter-in-law; Sherri Kinney of Port Allegany, PA and a longtime friend
T. Michael Coneys of Port Allegany, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son Thomas R. Kinney and son-in-law Donald R. Anjeski, two brothers John and Orton Kinney and one sister Belle Ball.
There will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Port Allegany PA.

Mrs. Mahon was born April 20, 1923 in, Keating Summit, PA, the daughter of Herman and Alice (Butler) Austin. On March 5 1947, in Niagara Falls, NY, she married Leonard C. Mahon, who died April 16, 2015.
Mrs. Mahon was a life long resident of Austin and Roulette and was knownby many as “Gram” because of her boundless and endless love not just for her family but to anyone who came into her life. She made everyone feel special and cherished. She also had a profound love for amimals who also had a place in her home. Edna was a remarkable women for faith, strength, and resilence as she forged through many life issues. Edna also had a spunky and sassy side and would set anyone straight that she felt needed it. She has changed and touched many lives and will be forever remembered by her favorite quote “One Day at a Time”. She is survived by: two daughters: Cheryl Shall of Neptune Beach, FL, Kristine (Eric) Landes of Roulette
Four sons: Terry (Sue) Lepold of Nottingham, PA, Leo Lepold of Texas, Donald (Rita) Mahon of Roulette, and Butch (Colleen) DeBoer of Roulette. 39 Grandchildren, 85 great grandchildren, 66 great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild
A special family member, Rhonda Bressan and a grandson, Kegan Mahon, who lived with “Gram” for many years.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024, at the Coudersport Fire Hall from 2-3PM, with services beginning at 3PM.

Robert M. Buckheit - May 30, 1945 - February 18, 2024

Obituary Preview: Robert M. Buckheit (Bob), of Port Allegheny, PA, and formerly of Hamburg, NY, passed away on February 18, 2024 in Coudersport, PA following a prolonged battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was 78 years old.
Born in Olean, NY to Joseph and Geraldine Buckheit, Bob grew up in Port Allegheny, PA where he developed his lifelong appreciation of Village life. Bob flourished in sports and academics and excelled in both Science and Football.
Following high school graduation, Bob attended and graduated from Edinboro State College in Edinboro, PA. He was part of the football team and met many of his lifelong friends and teammates that he still kept in touch with. He would eventually receive his master’s degree in education from SUNY@ Buffalo. He also studied at the University of Maine, Portland-Gorham with a focus on Marine Geology while working towards his master’s.
His football accomplishments were award winning. His passion for science and natural ability to lead and educate brought him to Hamburg, NY where he became part of the Hamburg Junior High Faculty. While working in Hamburg, Bob was a committed educator and football coach. He touched, enriched and inspired so many young lives.
Bob is survived by his wife, Cindy (Sawyer) Buckheit, his son Patrick H. (Kathleen) Buckheit and loving grandson’s Colton P and Logan M Buckheit, step son Jerry (Jeanie) Anderson, three step- grandchildren; Katie, Carrie, and Amy Anderson and his brother Thomas M (Renee) Buckheit, his sister Jane A (Bill) Lloyd as well as several nieces and nephews. Bob is predeceased by his mother Geraldine, father Joseph, and older brother Joseph Buckheit. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22nd at the Hartle Tarbox Funeral Home,

Lori was a 1986 graduate of Port Allegany High School. She was a homemaker tending to the needs of her family.
Lori enjoyed playing “Mrs. Claus” for the Christmas season alongside her husband, filling the role of “Santa Claus” every year. She also enjoyed watching many children as a sitter for many years. She also enjoyed her three fur babies that she leaves behind, “Puddles”, “Remington”, and “Baer”. In addition to her mother and her husband, Daniel, of Port Allegany, she is survived by: One daughter: Lorissa Roys of Port Allegany One son: Caden Roys of Port Allegany One Aunt and an Uncle, along with several nieces and nephews
Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents.
At Lori’s request, there will be no visitation or services. There will be a gathering of family and friends at a later date.

She worked at UPMC-Cole in Coudersport as an RN. She then worked in sales at home on Etsy and eBay.
Karen enjoyed being outdoors and spending time “outback” at her home, camping and walks as well as spending time with her dog, “Waldo” and her bird, “Maclead” . In addition to her husband, Alan, she is survived by: One daughter: Jennifer Hyde-Kelley of Pittsburgh Three grandchildren Two sisters: Leslie (Matt) Firth of Philipsburgh, PA and Barbara Hyde of Pittsburgh
And several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Born May 18, 1959, in St. Mary's, Pat was the daughter of Elmer and Betty (Heivly) Stengel. She grew up "on the hill" in a family-built pink house in Emporium.
Pat is a 1977 graduate of Cameron County High School, and she attended the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. She served as Township Secretary for Shippen and Roulette Townships for many years.
Pat loved music and attending concerts with her husband Bill. A self-described hippie, Pat could often be found flashing a peace sign while singing and dancing to her favorite songs. She also enjoyed gardening and loved animals, especially her cats and dog Whitman.
Pat is survived by her beloved husband H. William Harrier. They married on January 27, 2006, and have been inseparable since.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children. She was a fiercely loving mother of two sons, Dustin Newcombe of Los Angeles, CA, and Andrew Beck of Albion, and one daughter, Amanda Beck (William) of Monroeville. She is survived by one grandson, Marshall, whom she cherished dearly.
She is also survived by several brothers and sisters, Ronald Stengel of Valley Forge; Cathy Kwasneski of Rochester, NY; Connie Wolfel and Susan Polinick, both of Emporium; and Edward Stengel of Philadelphia, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by close friend Raymond Lindsey of Austin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Stephanie Beck, and brother Jeff Stengel. Memorials may be made to the Teachers Pet Rescue, 19 Blackberry Lane, Coudersport, PA 16915

Three grandchildren: Kevin (Jodi) and Korry (Ashley) Lindemuth and Kym (James) Moore seven great grandchildren: Jackson, Carter, Jade and Maddox Lindemuth, Aubrey and Gage Dinger, and Tristen Moore one great-great grandchild: Emersyn Lindemuth And several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son Clayton R. Howard, one son Lee A. Howard, one grandson Zachary Olson, and one brother Dr. Norman F. C. Baker.

Ruth went to Turtlepoint Schools and then to Mansfield Teacher’s College where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in education. Mrs. Grimes was an elementary school teacher first for the Shinglehouse School District for two years, then Port Allegany School District, retiring in 1999 after 32 years.
Ruth was a member of the Gethsemane Lutheran Church of Port Allegany, former member of the Order of the Eastern Star Myrtle Chapter, then the Keystone Chapter #2 of Duke Center. She is survived by: a son: Todd (Tanya) Grimes of Turtlepoint a daughter: Brenda Jones of Las Vagas, NV one grandson: Devin Grimes of Port Allegany two great grandsons: Zoin and Josiah Grimes one great granddaughter: Natalie Grimes two brothers: George A. (Virginia) Carlson and Dr. James W. Carlson, both of Turtlepoint two sisters: Anna C. Moore of Asheville, NC and Alice C. Tolan of Horseheads, NY and several nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by a baby daughter at birth, one brother: Elton F. Carlson, two sisters: Roxie Carlson and Rena C. Hitchcock.

Art was a graduate of Port Allegany High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Windsor was a chemical operator for the Chevron Company.
He was a member of the American Legion Frank Burt Post 258 and the Port Allegany Moose Lodge #460. He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church of Smethport and was the Deacon Assistant at the Parish. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons: Nathaniel P. (Jan) Reilly of LaGrange Park, IL, Benjamin T. (Elizabeth) Reilly of Nags Head, NC, and Tashyme (Tarika) Reilly of Queens, NY. Tom was a 1966 graduate of Port Allegany High School and attended Alfred University and received a degree in Ceramic Engineering. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1967 and served until 1969, during Vietnam.
Mr. Edgreen was employed at St. Gobain, now Ardagh Group, of Port Allegany, as a member of the job change crew and was crew leader. Tom retired in 2005 after 38 years of service from the time it was Pierce Glass Co.
He was a member of the PA Farm Bureau, where he was formerly on the state board of directors, was a life member of the VFW of Eldred, a life member of the American Quarter Horse Association, and was Past Commandant of the Marine Corps League; Bob Swanson Detachment of Mt. Jewett. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: two daughters: Tanya (Dave) Okerland of Smethport and Jeanette Dunn of Crosby One son: Matt Edgreen of Port Allegany Two grandchildren: Hailley and Ethan Edgreen One sister: Diane Edgreen Debord of West Virginia And several nieces and nephews
