Obituary Preview: Susan Manjone, 89, of Weston, passed away Tuesday evening at Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas, following a short illness.
Born in Tresckow on August 4, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sue (Timko) Zapatosky and spent the past 60 years in Weston after moving from McAdoo.
She was class valedictorian in 1950 of McAdoo High School. She was a housewife and loving mother for all of her life.  She started her work life at Tung-sol to help support brothers and sisters. Later, she managed the family grocery store located in Weston. Susan lived for her family and always put others before herself.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing the piano.  She was a member of Sacred Heart RC of Weston singing in the choir for 25 years and being a intern organist when called upon.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, a son Roger Manjone Jr.; six brothers Dugan, Jerry, Eugene, Emil, Timmy, and infant brother James Zapatosky; and two nephews.
Surviving are her loving husband Roger Manjone Sr., to whom she was married on October 13, 1957. They would have shared their 65th wedding anniversary this year.  Also surviving is daughter Susan Manjone of Dallas; daughter Sandy Vansock, Weston; daughter Anita Manjone of Millville; daughter Beth and spouse Joseph Bezares of Weston; and a sister Joyce Leggo of Hazleton; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 at Sacred Heart RC, Weston at 10 am. Born in Trenton, NJ, April 6, 1963, he was the son of the late Charles and Margaret (Molnar) Whitehair and spent the past 22 years in Sugarloaf after moving from Nuremberg.
Richard was a Forklift Operator for Forbo Industries, Humboldt Industrial Park.  He was of the Methodist faith and attended Black Creek United Methodist Church, Sugarloaf.  He enjoyed plants, gardening, and fishing.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by a brother Michael Whitehair.
Surviving are his son Ty Whitehair; and daughter Brielle Whitehair, both of Sugarloaf; a brother Tom Whitehair and his wife Susan, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

Obituary Preview: Charlotte A. Shafer, 78, of Nuremberg, passed away Tuesday morning, March 8, 2022 at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born in Bloomsburg, April 6, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Clara (Borchik) Keszkowski and spent the past 50 years in Nuremberg, after moving from Bloomsburg.
Charlotte was a Production Worker for Office Max, Humboldt Industrial Park, and also Harbor Electronics.  She had also previously worked as a Cook for the Hazleton Area School District; Brior's Restaurant, Rock Glen; and Ground Round, West Hazleton.  She was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church, Weston and the church choir.  She enjoyed cooking, attending her grandchildren's activities, and reading.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, William who passed away November 24, 2018; and a great-grandson Bentley Matthew Shafer, May 14, 2020.
Surviving are three children William and his companion Dawn Sabatos, Sugarloaf; Jeannette Barron and her husband John, Drums; and David and his wife Jessica, Drums; seven grandchildren Gregory, Bethany, Emily, Katie, Anna, Bo, and Bella; a great-grandchild Karter; three brothers Stanley Keszkowski and his wife Linda, Bloomsburg; John Keszkowski, Bloomsburg; and Gregory Keszkowski and his wife Nancy, MIllville; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart RC Church, 554 Main Street, Weston.  Friends may call at the church Monday morning from 9 am until the time of the Mass. Janet Margaret Matyas - May 17, 1935 - February 20, 2022

Obituary Preview: Janet Margaret Matyas, 86, of Mountain Grove, passed away February 21, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, following a brief illness.
Born in Nuremberg, PA, May 17, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret (Wanner) Lutz and spent the past 66 years in Mountain Grove.
Janet graduated from Nuremberg High School in 1953. At the age of 18, she sailed, by herself, across the Atlantic to marry her husband Ralph Errol Matyas on February 13,1954 where he was a member of the US Army stationed in Heilbronn, Germany.  Once stateside, she worked at Kathy Fashions, Nuremberg for 15 years, and 10 years as an assistant at the post office in Rock Glen. Her longest and most fulfilling career was as a loving and dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and find-a-word and jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mountain Grove.  She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband Ralph Errol Matyas, and her brother Eugene Lutz.
Surviving are her 4 children: Gary Matyas and his wife Marsha, Olney, MD; Deborah Barton and her husband William, Kokomo, IN; Douglas Matyas and his wife Nancy, Lovettsville, VA; and Linda Matyas, Mountain Grove. She had 6 grandchildren: Joseph, Amanda, Jason, Kendall, Nicholas, and Ella; 1 great grandson, Isaac; as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1551 Rock Glen Road, Bloomsburg PA (Mountain Grove) at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mountain Grove, Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. The family asks you to follow COVID precautions by wearing a mask to the church.

Born in Weston, March 24, 1932, he was the son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Hasker) Moff and spent the past five years in Drums, after moving from Bethlehem and had previously resided in Somerset, NJ.
Gerald was a member of the Accounting Department for Pennwalt University of Medicine and Dentistry and for Westinghouse in NJ.  He was a US Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict from 1952 - 1953.  He enjoyed spending time boating and swimming.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by two sisters Ethel Pecora and Gloria Schrader.
Surviving are his loving wife, the former Joan Ulshafer to whom he was married on April 14, 1956; two sisters Marion Van Horn, Levittown; and Lauretta Chenkus, Blackwood, NJ; and a brother Joseph Moff, Beaver Twp.
His funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 11am in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 260 Mahanoy St, Nuremberg with Reverend Philip Smith officiating. Obituary Preview: Donna Mae (Brior) Dalesandro, 74, of Zion Grove, passed away February 17, 2022 at Berwick Hospital Center in Berwick, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Hazleton, November 25, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Ilamae (Berger) Brior and spent the past 47 years in Zion Grove, after moving from Fern Glen.
Donna was a beloved kindergarten teacher; first at Ringtown, then at Nuremberg, and finally at Valley Elementary Schools for over 31 years.  She loved teaching, children, animals, and helping others. She fostered 14 children while raising her own 6 and teaching hundreds of kids over the years.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by a son David Dalesandro who passed away February 28, 2012; and brother Donald (Butch) Brior.
Surviving are five of her children, Lisa Dalesandro, Zion Grove; Colleen Acri and her husband Joey, Colorado; Melissa Dalesandro, Fern Glen; Tiffany Whitenight, Sheppton; and Dustan Dalesandro and his companion Kim Mumaw, Drums; eight amazing grandchildren; a brother William Brior and his wife Kathy, Sugarloaf; and a sister-in-law JoAnne Brior, Ocean City, MD. as well as many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 3pm in Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 255 Mahanoy St, Nuremberg, PA 18241.  Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.  Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. Ronald Paul Grapsy - August 01, 1935 - February 14, 2022

Obituary Preview: Ronald Paul Grapsy, 86, of Beaver Township, passed away peacefully Monday morning, February 14, 2022 at his home following a short illness. Born in Wilkes Barre PA, August 1, 1935, he was the son of the late Ray and Eve (Yezefski) Grapsy. Ronald lived his childhood and young adulthood in Pottsville, moved to Conyngham in 1980 and lived his last 27 years in retirement in Beaver Township. Ronald and his late wife Rosanne were business owners of RP International, a Navistar Truck Sales and Service Center, Valmont Industrial Park. Ronald previously operated a similar business with his family in Pottsville. He was a US Navy veteran, on active duty from 1958-1961, and attaining the rank of LTJG. Ronald served 20 years as a navigator in the Naval Reserves based at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Willow Grove and retired as Commander. He was a member of St. John Bosco RC Church, Sugarloaf, where he sang in the church choir and served as a lector. He was a proud member of the Hazleton Rotary and the Knights of Columbus and he actively participated in annual golf and bowling leagues. He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his wife the former Rosanne Gonzales, who passed away August 27, 1991 and his brother, Ramon Grapsy. Surviving are three children, Richelle Ann Vible and her husband Mark, Wilmington DE; Karen Rose Shaban and her husband Samir, Ashburn VA; and Ronald Grapsy, Jr., Whitehall; nine grandchildren Mark Vible, Jr. and his wife Sabrina Grouzat; Andrew Vible; Sarah Vible and her husband Kevin Clark; Hussein Shaban; Ronald Shaban and his wife Liz; Abdul Shaban; Alieh Rose Shaban; Benjamin Grapsy; Caitlin Grapsy and a great-grandson Atticus Albenzi; and his friend and companion Ainslie DeYoung. His funeral will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 9:30 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. Born in Berwick, June 8, 1985, he was the son of Stacy J. (Yeager) Perez and her husband Jose, Sugarloaf; and his father Christopher Bartholomew Mumie, Freeland; and spent most of his life in Sugarloaf.
Christopher graduated with honors from Hazleton High School in 2003. He was the Proprietor of Robert's Lawn Care, Nuremberg; and worked for Michael's Distribution, Humbolt; and Evergreen Raceway on weekends in the summer. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Nuremberg. Christopher loved the outdoors, paintball, hunting, fishing, and playing video games. He adored children and was a proud foster parent.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Robert Yeager and uncle Carl Yeager.
Surviving in addition to his parents are three children, Gabriela Weis; Noah, and Meadow; brother Kurt Thomas Mumie, Sugarloaf; sister Nadine Marie Yeager, Sugarloaf; half-brothers Justin and Zach Mumie and Robert Dotter, all of Freeland; maternal grandmother Kathleen Yeager, Easley, SC; paternal grandmother Joann Mumie, Hazleton; companion Sherry Waldron, Nuremberg; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Born in Hazleton, March 25, 1948, he was the son of the late Thomas and Lucille (Lindenmuth) Makara, Sr. and spent the past six years in Black Creek Township, after moving from Nuremberg.
Thomas was a retired Laborer for several local manufacturing facilities.  He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, having served from 1966 - 1969.  He was a member and Past Commander of American Legion Post #699, Nuremberg; and member of Valley Vets, VFW Post #8161, Conyngham.  He was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church, Weston.  He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing and was a member of the Shenandoah Fish and Game Club.  He was an avid Sports Fan, especially of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Pittsburgh Steelers.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his first wife, the former Ann Markosky, who passed away January 21, 1998; a son Michael, May 7, 1972; a brother Robert, and a sister-in-law, Marie Houser.
Surviving are two daughters Debbie Biever and her husband Brian, Drums; and Tammy Mummey and her husband Brian, Black Creek Township; four grandchildren Kasey, Jason, Alivia, and Bronx; a brother Brad and his wife Linda, Doylestown; a sister-in-law Tina Davis and her husband Phil, Drums; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Barbara Makara, Freeland.
His funeral will be held Monday with a procession at Noon from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West) 1265 Rock Glen Road.  A military graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm in Nuremberg Cemetery.   Friends may call at the funeral home  Monday moring from 10 am until the time of the procession.

Born in Nuremberg, November 22, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Daldon) Longo and lived in the Nuremberg area her entire life.
A graduate of Bloomsburg University, she was an English teacher in the Hazleton Area School District for 35 years before her retirement in 1984.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Weston and belonged to the Alter and Rosary Society of the parish.
Celestine was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association and the PSEA Retired Organization of Schuylkill County, the Bloomsburg University Foundation, and the Bloomsburg Alumni Association, where she took an active role.  She was also a member of the Tirolisi Alpini of Hazleton.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband Lawrence, who died in 1996, a brother Thomas Longo, who was killed in a hunting accident in 1953, a brother Joseph Longo in 2002, and a sister Lucille Longo in 2008.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, and is survived by nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:30 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West) 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Sacred Heart RC Church, Weston.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph's RC Cemetery, Sheppton.  Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening 6-8 pm.  A Christian Wake Service will be held Thursday evening.

Jim was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for Slusser Brothers, West Hazleton.  He was a US Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Mt. Grove.  He was an avid sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He enjoyed cooking and baking, and playing golf.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a brother Sylvester Frey.
Surviving are his wife of the past 53 years, the former Joan Brutosky; four children Sandra Johnson, Zion Grove; Michael Frey, Zion Grove; Paula Seatter and her husband Dave, Zion Grove; and Keith Frey and his companion Eugenia DeLeon, Nuremberg; three grandchildren, Zachary, Ashley, and Cody; two step-grandchildren Kyle and Danielle; six-great-grandchildren; a brother Dennis Frey, Scotch Valley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband Mitchell, who passed away August 3, 2003; a daughter Irene Bader, November 21, 2001; a son-in-law Edward Kennedy; and a sister Mary Dudeck.
Surviving a son Joseph Kowalsky, Mt. Grove; two daughters Rita Kennedy, Ellicott City, MD; and Michele Hutton and her husband Stephen, Wake, VA; a son-in-law George Bader, Phoenixville; five grandchildren Catherine and Edward Kennedy, Christopher and Stephanie Hutton, and Diana Bader; a sister Johanna Eckrote, Rock Glen, many nieces and nephews.

Obituary Preview: Lance A. Wolfe, 83, of Stillwater, passed away Saturday December 25, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Zion Grove, PA, March 21, 1938. He was the son of the late William and Mary (Singley) Wolfe and spent the past 30 years in Stillwater, after moving from Bridgewater Twp. New Jersey.
Lance was a Certified Millwright, Construction and Maintenance Manager for Union Carbide.  He was an Army veteran.  He was also a real Estate Investor and Township Auditor. He was a member of the Benton School Board and had served as President.  He loved Antique and Classic cars and was a restorer/collector. Him and his wife were also bird dog breeders/trainers/handlers. He was an avid fisherman and high school sports enthusiast.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents by a brother Walter Wolfe, and sister Catherine Brobst.

Obituary Preview: Stephen J. Supon Jr., 74, of Weston, passed away early Thursday morning, December 16, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton, following a brief illness.
Born in Hazleton, December 26, 1946, he was the son of Veronica (Makara) Supon Pallaver, Weston, and the late Stephen Supon, Sr., and spent his entire life in Weston.
Stephen worked as a Machinist for Barrett and Haentjens/Weir Minerals, Hazleton, where he retired in 2011 after 45 years of service.  He was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War where he attained the rank of MR3.
He was President of the Weston Athletic Association.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors.  After he retired, he went on a hunt to Africa and harvested four trophy animals.  He was a member of Shenandoah Fish and Game Club, and the Park Crest Fish and Game Club, and a former member of the Hazleton Archery Club.  He enjoyed keeping up with the yard, and a vegetable and flower garden.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his step-father Victor Pallaver, and brother-in-law Carl Kapes.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Bonita (Yurcho) Supon to whom he was married on December 27, 2007 in Jamaica; four daughters Mary Kobrick and her husband Fred; Ann Supon; Stephanie Malt; and Christy Strohl and her husband Ed Strohl; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister Kathleen Kapes, Weston; a brother Larry Supon and his wife Dorothy, Sugarloaf; numerous nieces and nephews and his German Short Hair Pointer, Jake.
His funeral will be held Monday, December 20, 2021 at 10 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart RC Cemetery, Weston.  Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon 2-6 pm.

Surviving is his wife, Anne Neaus to whom he was married on June 19, 2004; a brother Richard Neaus and his wife Tracy, Fern Glen; two stepsons Theodore Hargraves, Waldorf, MD; and Mitchell Monroe, Berwick. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Obituary Preview: Ross E. Hofnagle was born on June 26, 1930 on the Hofnagle farm, the only child of Eugene and Martha (Fisher) Hofnagle.
Ross graduated from Berwick High School in 1949 and married the former Violet Rossi on August 12, 1950. They were married for 61 years until her passing on November 3, 2011.
In 1952, Ross moved to Newark, DE after being hired at Chrysler Corp. In 1961, he started working for Thiokol Corp. on Sub Rock Apollo Dyna-Soar rockets for the space program. He was a Design Draftsman for the E.I. DuPont Co. in Wilmington, DE for 19 years until retiring in 1982 and returning to Pennsylvania.
Ross toured all 50 states including Hawaii in 1987 and Alaska in 1993.
He will be missed by daughter Carol Figgs and her husband Rick of Newark, DE; a son Dale Hofnagle and wife Becky, West Grove; two granddaughters Leah Quinn and her husband Sean of Wilmington, DE; and Taylor Hofnagle of West Grove; two great-grandsons Ian and Brady Quinn of Wilmington, DE; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He also will be missed by special friends Genevie and her family, Ed and Rose Ann.
A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 10-11 AM at Harman Funeral & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. Private burial will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg.

Born in Weston, September 5, 1928, he was the son of the late Fred and Elizabeth (Widitz) Nenstiel and spent the past 68 years in Tomhicken after moving from Weston.
Tiggy was a 1946 graduate of Black Creek Township High School, where he played basketball and baseball.  He also played American Legion baseball throughout the area, and was offered a tryout with the Brooklyn Dodgers farm team.  Instead he joined the US Army and served from 1947-1949.  In 1950 he was drafted back into the Army and served during the Korean War, before being discharged again in 1952.
Prior to retiring in 1994, he worked as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for Hershey Foods, Humboldt.  He was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church, Weston.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, hosting family dinners along with his wife, vacationing with his family, attending the sporting events of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and watching baseball.  He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his wife, the former Veronica Yenchick, who passed away April 30, 2021; four brothers, Fred, Edward, Reynold, and Henry; and a sister Ellen.
Surviving are a daughter Cindy Felegie and her husband Tarone, Weston; two sons Gary Nenstiel and his wife Becky, Weston; and Gerry Nenstiel and his companion Darlene Brobst, Hazleton; four grandchildren Tara Klinger and her husband Jon; Timothy Felegie; Adam and Jeremy Nenstiel; five great grandchildren Hailey, and Reese Kashack; Landyn Klinger; Camdyn and Wyatt Felegie; a brother Bernard Nenstiel, Mountaintop and several nieces and nephews.

Born in Mocanaqua, December 25, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Evan) Kobosko.  Upon their marriage in 1956, Chris and her husband, Mike, moved to Manville, NJ to raise their family of six children and thoroughly enjoyed watching their family grow.  They eventually retired to their beautiful Sugarloaf, PA home and spent the past 27 years there, along with visits to their Florida retreat at Golden Acres in the winters.  They enjoyed cherished friendships from Manville, NJ to Dunedin, FL and Sugarloaf, PA.
Christine was a retired Administrative Assistant for Johnson & Johnson, Somerville, NJ.  She was a member of St. John Bosco RC Church, Sugarloaf.
Christine enjoyed many hobbies especially doing jigsaw puzzles, card games, and visiting with friends, and in earlier days, organizing tremendous family reunions in Sugarloaf with her sister, Maryann, and participating in Dunedin, FL events.  But her greatest loves were her cherished relationships with every family member including husband, kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren, her precious sisters, the entire extended Kobosko and Drury families across the country and very special friends Holly Hanisak and Gil Gleco.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband Michael, Sr., who passed away July 21, 2001; a son Michael Jr., July 24, 2019; a brother Charles Kobosko Jr.; and two sisters Marge Augustine and Betty Tearpock.
Surviving are five children, Kathleen Mazewski, Mooresville, NC; Patricia Marko, East Windsor, NJ; Sharon Thomaszfski, Jacksonville, FL; Timothy Drury, Manville, NJ;  Kim Szymanowski, Pipersville, PA and daughter-in-law, Renata Drury, Saylorsburg, PA; thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren (and one on the way); three sisters Ann Castelli, Solon, OH; Maryann Sivilich, Dallas, PA;  Joanne Young, Wasilla, AK, and numerous precious nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He served our country as a US Marine.  He was a member of Saint John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, Sugarloaf.  He was also a member of Preservers of the Past, Drums; attended the Hershey Regional Antique car show annually, and enjoyed collecting and accumulating antique cars, trucks and tractors.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a sister, Dorothy Henry and a brother, Gerald Planutis.
Surviving are his loving wife, the former Regina Kapes whom he was married on October 29, 1949; two sons, William A. Planutis, III., Sugarloaf; and Jeffrey Planutis and wife Cindy, Sugarloaf; two daughters, Terri Mock and husband Robert, Sugarloaf; and Donna Denial, Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Deanna was a Homemaker for most of her life.  She had previously worked for the Bloomsburg Silk Mill; as a Bookkeeper for the Fern Glen Garment Factory; First National Bank, Nuremberg; and Hazleton National Bank, Hazleton.  She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Nuremberg.  She was Cub Scout den mother, member of the PTA, and active with the band parents.  She enjoyed crafting, cooking, knitting, crocheting, and playing cards.  She also enjoyed traveling with family, having traveled twice to each of the lower 48 states, and spending summers at the beach in Delaware.
Surviving are her husband of the past 60 years, Clyde L.; four children Clyde II and his wife Tina, Chester, VA; Carl and his wife Kelly, Forrest, VA; Chris and his wife Jean Ann, Streetsboro, OH; and Cathy Herring and her husband Jason, Zion Grove; four grandchildren, Tyler Rhodes, and his wife Laura, Lynchburg, VA; Savannah Herring, Zion Grove, Nathan and Caroline Rhodes, Chester, VA; a brother Gerald "Clifford" Brior and his wife Susan, Rock Glen; and several nieces and nephews.
