Obituary Preview: Brian Lee Nelson of Macomb, Michigan passed away Wednesday, January 9th, 2019; at the age of 66. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 13th, 1952 toCharles Lee Nelson and Loretta I. Nelson (Dewalsche).
He attendedFitzgerald High School in Warren, Michigan and graduated in 1970. Brian proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He bravely ran shipments of supplies up and down the Vietnam peninsula during this conflict. Like many brave soldiers of this war, Brian always humbly stated that "he was just doing his job".
Brian joined the US Postal Service on February 7th, 1981. He exemplified The Postal Services Motto of: “Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night, stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds”. On many occasions Brian would complete his own route ahead of schedule and then go back out to help his co-workers complete their routes. His continued dedication is validated by his many route customers who are very complimentary of his faithful service, positive attitude and kindness.
Brian’s life passions included his wife Julie, son Johnathan (JT), daughter Katie, sports, movies, music, making puzzles, playing with the dogs, and “Swimming in the pool” after work.
Brian is survived by his wife Julie whom he married March 4, 1995 at Zion Church in Troy, MI. Their children Johnathan and Catherine Nelson. Brian is also survived by his siblings, Mary Lou Brown, Joyce Miller and Tom Randall.

He was known to go everywhere with his 'partner in crime', Hazelnut, his Black Lab.
He was an avid Nascar fan.Early on it was hunting, fishing, and bowling with a “mean left hook”. In later years it was showing off his antique Hit and Miss engines at tractor shows, going to oldies concerts, casinos, and spending time with grandchildren.
He is survived by his children; Charles (Dawn) Gillard, Denece (John) Oplinus and Sidney Gillard. His grandchildren; Kenneth O., Charles G.Jr., Hailey S., Courtney S., Gunnar S., Katelynn G., Ronald G., Joshua G., Marti O., Justin O. Also his sister, Cheryl Gillard and life long friend, Susan Gillard (Fournier).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gwendoline Gillard.

He is survived by his son, David (Barbara) Vine and his daughter, Sheryl (Ernie) Harris. His granddaughters; Jordan, Addison and Danielle Harris; and his sister, Susan (Dan) McDavid.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra.
A private service will be held.

Lawrence owned a Model A car and a member of their club. He was a collector of trains, planes and automobiles. Also enjoyed sailing and traveling. His favorite places to travel were Colorado and the East Coast When on the East Coast he would enjoy Maine lobster and clam chowder. He also traveled to Florida where he enjoyed time at his second home.
He is survived by his daughters; Susan (Marty) Schmidt, Patricia (Joseph) Burns and Laura (Doug) Seniw. His grandchildren; Kathryn (Michael) Rehrauer, Bryan (Amanda) Schmidt, Ian Burns, Margaret Burns and Zachary Burns. His great grandsons; Grant and Luke Rehrauer.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Edith and his brother, Milton.

Roy is survived by his children; Charles (Kathy) Delfrate from Mt. Dora, FL; Pamala (Egon) Systermann of Armada, MI; Karen (David) Warner of Wixom, MI; Joseph Delfrate of Clinton Twp., MI; Jeffrey Delfrate of Sterling Hts., MI.
His grandchildren; Sheila Systermann, Rebekah (Nick Oliver) Warner, Benjamin Warner, Sabrina Delfrate, Sarah Delfrate, Joseph Delfrate, Alyssa Delfrate, Emaline Delfrate, William Delfrate, Jacob Delfrate and Jay Anson Kibby. Also, great grandson, Austin Systermann.

She is survived by brothers Harry (Arlene) of Ft Collins CO, Warren of York PA, and sister Susan Peters of York , PA.
She was preceded in death by 13 siblings: Fannie, Gertie, Silvia, Hilda, Thelma, Edward, Eleanora, Florance, Floyd, Alice, Martin (Lavere), Leona, and Charles, all originally from PA.
Idonna was born and raised on a farm. She had a witty/sarcastic sense of humor when you got to know her. When young she wrote poems that were published in the local paper. During WWII she wrote letters to prisoners of war, which was how she met Kenneth her husband. She was a homemaker, DAV Flea Market vendor, and life member of DAV Auxiliary #129.
She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, crocheting, playing games/cards, putting puzzles together, country and gospel music, watching the Game Show Network, and helping her family. (She use to make THE BEST kettle Potato Chips, and neighbors used to buy them!) She still canned jellies, chow chow, corn relish, and pickles and sold them. She collected owls, and previously collected stamps and postcards. She used to travel with her husband, and she had collected magnets from most of the states.
