Obituary Preview: Teresa Young (53) of Clinton passed away, April 18, 2022, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.  Born in Clinton to Marlett Young and Patty Wycoff Young on July 20, 1968.  She was a retired nurse’s aide and worked at Vermillion Convalescent Center and Clinton Gardens.   She was a graduate of South Vermillion High School class of 1986.  She married Robert Gutierrez, June 5, 2021, and he survives.  She was preceded in death by her father, Marlett Young and a brother, Robert Young.  Survivors include her husband, her mother, 1 sister; Tina Bradford of Clinton, her brother; Grant Young of Clinton.  Also, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Cremation was chosen with a memorial service at a later date.  Memorial contributions can be made to Parke-vermillion Humane Society.

Inman in April 1945 and he preceded her in death September 17, 2015. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Sophia (Al) Brokup, Dusan Knezevich, George (Anita) Knezevich, Millie (Francis) Balazs, Beaulah (Richard) Budinger, Mike (Ann) Knezevich.
Surviving are two sons: Edward A. (Toni) Inman of Clinton and Rick (Nancy) Inman of Clinton. Grandchildren; Jacqueline Inman, Michael (Mary) Inman, Jessica Inman-Bush, and Ryan Inman Great Grandchildren; Katie Inman, Isabela Inman, Luke Bush, Taylor Inman, Grant Bush, and Isla Lewis

Scout Master for Boy Scouts of America and coached Little League in Clinton for many years.  Larry had many interests and hobbies including fishing, and hunting but his main interest was being with family.  He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; Russell “Rusty” Riggen (12/11/2020), brothers; Donald, Victor, and Earl.  Sisters-in-law; Janet and Lulu Mae and his brother-in-law; Bob Williams.  He married Mary Ann Pognant, December 23, 1956, and she survives.   He is also survived by 3 Sons: Larry Riggen Jr. (Beverly) of Avon, IN, Tim Riggen Sr. of Covington, IN, Randy Riggen (Vicky) of Hillsdale, IN.  5 Grandchildren; Matthew, Tim Jr. (Tiffany), Aaron (Brittany), Jerimiah (Vanessa), Dwight (Nicole), and Gretchen (Daniel) Shew.  8 great grandchildren; Addison, Cora, Walker, Lewis, Sawyer, Tinley, Wyatt, Abram, and Charlotte.   3 sisters; Pat Williams of Riley, IN, Sally (Ted) Harpold of Montezuma, IN, and Jeanette Riggen of Mooresville, IN, 2 brothers; Carl Riggen of Cayuga, IN, and Elmer (Julia) Riggen of Clinton, IN.  Sister-in-law; Michelene Pognant of Chicago and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be held, Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Giovanini Funeral Home in Clinton with Reverend Cheryl Montgomery officiating.  Burial will be at Walnut Grove cemetery.   Visitation will be held 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions can be made to Park-Vermillion Christian Youth Mission, Inc. 155 S. 5th. Per his request, cremation was chosen without services.  Memorials can be made to Clinton Golf Association, or Parke-Vermillion Humane Society in Mike’s memory.

She is survived by her husband; Darrell Rupnick of Lyford, 1 son; Darrin (Melissa) Rupnick of Clinton, son-in-law; Mike Neice of Terre Haute.  9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.   2 sisters; Sharen Kelsheimer of Terre Haute, and Danyal Kelsheimer of Burnett, Indiana.  4 Brothers; Larry Kelsheimer (Leora) of Clinton; Terry Kelsheimer (Debbie) of Coxville; David Kelsheimer (Jeanie) of Lyford; and Gregg Kelsheimer of Clinton and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, February 28, 2022, at Lyford Bible Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Lyford Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Jeremy Coombes officiating.    Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Clinton.

(BS) Life Sciences/Chemistry minor 1984-1986, Vincennes University (AS) Biology Technician/Biotechnology Laboratory Technician 1981 – 1984.  Member of the Implementation Task Force.  TF is responsible for Implementing the TRACC system of business management to the Dupont work force with skills of Interests – High Performance Liquid Chromatography Spectrophotometry, Titration, UV/Vis, Chemistry.
In her personal life, Susan enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, going to the casino, sewing traveling especially to the lakes in Michigan and solving an array of puzzles.  She was involved with most activities where her many friends at Cobblestone Crossing where she resided.  She was a joyous person and would make everyone feel welcome and was loved by many.  Her hobbies included gardening, bird watching, and she was fascinated with astronomy.
Preceded in death by her parents, life partner; Dave Carithers and her two fur babies, Little Bit and Roxie.
Survived by one sister: Ann Crum of Brown County, Indiana, two nieces, Kyra and Grace Crum.  Her caregiver and “considered” daughter; Tiffany (Carithers) Girton and her husband Kodie, and one granddaughter; Savanuh Girton all of Clay County, Indiana. Cousins and other family members and her fur baby; Chester. Cremation was chosen with a celebration to be held at Cobblestone Crossing Clubhouse from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, March 19, 2022

Survived by 2 sons; Philip Sinclair of Terre Haute, and Jonathan (Mindy) Sinclair of Terre Haute.  Daughter; Dr. Marcia (Frank) Favali of Terre Haute, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Private services will be conducted with Pastors Bud and Lori Aplin with burial in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Charles was born in Illinois on September 22, 1932 to the late Stanley and Zelma Ark. Following his graduation from the University of Illinois, he began his career as a Certified Public Accountant. He worked at the Hyster Company in Danville IL and while employed there he met Phoebe Hewlitt (Smock) who he married on March 3,1962. Together, they raised his step son Terry J Hewlett. Using his amazing skill with numbers, and after retirement, he began working at H&R Block in Clinton, IN preparing taxes where he developed a following based on his thorough, concise preparation methods, eventually he stopped working there to focus on caring for his wife. In January 2017, after 54 years of marriage, his wife, Phoebe, passed away. Survivors Include his step son, Terry J Hewlett as well as several nieces and nephews. Per his wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be held. Interment of his cremated remains will occur at a later date.

Foster sons; Jim (Pam) McDonald and Jim Wallace both of St. Bernice, IN.  Ten grandchildren; Tammy Spivey, Kenna Pearman, Justin McDonald, Mackenzie Clough, Brea Wright, Tony Coonce Jr., Chris Bridges, Brittani Hadley, Larry Barbour and Bronson Moody.  Sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.  Her brother-in-law; Jerome Coonce of Lyons, GA and several nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Friday, December 10, 2021, at Sugar Grove Methodist Church at 2:00 PM EST with Pastor Bill Duke officiating.   Visitation will be held at Sugar Grove Methodist Church 1:00 PM EST until service time at 2:00 PM EST.   Memorial contributions can be made to Sugar Grove Methodist Church. Givens (77) of Clinton, Indiana passed away at 8:50 PM, November 10, 2021, at Signature Health Care in Terre Haute.  He was born July 22, 1944, in Terre Haute to Walter Givens and Rosemary Roth Givens.  A retired heavy equipment operator also helped during the construction of Interstate 70.  Larry was a very hard worker and mostly a very dedicated  father.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Joyce Smock and Sondra Green.  Givens is survived by 3 daughters; Joni Keller of Clinton, Tammy Givens of Terre Haute and Angie Givens of Evansville and 3 sons; Anthony (Kristine) Givens of Covington, Andrew Givens of Mooresville, and Nathan Givens of Mooresville.   Also, surviving are 8 grandchildren: Kali and Rayden Ditto, Bobby, Bradly and Brittany Kirkman, Madelyn and Hunter Hargett and Sabrina Givens, and 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.   Cremation was chosen without services.   Services are entrusted to Giovanini Funeral Home.

Obituary Preview: David Lee Minor went to meet his heavenly father on September 7, 2021.  He was born on December 19, 1952 in Terre Haute, Indiana.  On July 4, 1971, Dave married the love of his life; Rita Ridener.  The couple celebrated their 50 years of unconditional love this summer in a commemoration at their son’s house with family and friends.
Dave was in the U.S. Army reserves before gaining employment with the Zigler Coal Mine for 12 years.  After leaving the mine, he began his career with Ampacet in Terre Haute.  This career path led him to eventually being a Color Chemist and retiring after more than 30 years of service.
He was a devout Christian and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Clinton, IN.  He also attended church with his daughter at the Stateline Church.
For the last 20 years, Dave enjoyed running and participated in and won many races; ranging from 5k’s to Marathons.  He was able to reach the status of qualifying for and running in the Boston Marathon, competing at a Master’s level, and competing in the Senior Olympics.
Dave also enjoyed watching his 8 grandchildren participate in their respective sports for the last 15 years.  Some of the sports in which he became the biggest fan were baseball, softball, basketball,  volleyball, football, cheerleading, and wrestling.  Dave was also able to coach his kid’s sports teams, his grandkid’s sports teams, and was also able to coach many talented and unforgettable athletes throughout the years.
Another pastime that Dave enjoyed was taking his newly purchased Thunderbird to car shows with his grandsons.
Dave and Rita have three beautiful children and 8 grandchildren.  Dave and Amanda (Step) Minor have three children; Bo, Brock, and Becca.  Bobby and Darla (Russell) Minor have three children; Kerrigan, Kenley, and Keelyn.  Heather and Larry Stultz have two children; Gavin and Gunner.  Also surviving is a brother; Chuck  (Kathy) Minor, and three sisters; Mary Jo Graham, Doris Johnson and Marilyn White.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
