Angela is survived by her parents, Eleno J. “E.J.” and Patricia Romero, her grandmother Margie Zaia, her husband, Daniel Jojola, her daughter Briana Corrales, daughter Brittany Corrales, and her partner Hakeem Edmon and grandson Jamir, son Diego, step-son Estevan Jojola, his wife Michelle and grandchildren Estevan Jr., Elijah and Sophia, her sister Anita Romero O’Brien and her husband Robert O’Brien and her brother Lucas Romero, his wife Karen and son Mack, as well as a large extended family.
Angela was a native of Albuquerque and worked at Sandia National Laboratories.
Angela loved to travel and hike, with her love, husband Daniel, exploring different hot springs. They also enjoyed riding motorcycles.
Angela loved her kids and grandchildren fiercely; they were the light of her life.
Angela was a vivacious spirit whose smile could light up a room. She made friends easily and was loyal, especially to her life-long friends. She will be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor and well as her special talent for bestowing nicknames on people. She loved to laugh and be surrounded by family and friends. As a child, she loved sleep overs and never wanted anyone to go home. She was strong and stubborn, but also girly and liked anything pink and sparkly.
Cooking was Angela’s love language. She was an amazing cook and loved to cook for family and friends. She was also an excellent baker. Her cakes and Christmas goodie platters will be especially missed.
Rest in peace, Angela. You are so loved.

Obituary Preview: Samuel “Sammy” Ray Argo was called by our Lord on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with lung disease. He carried his Cross with dignity and grace. He was met in heaven by his parents., Bernard “Buddy” and JoAn Argo, and his brother, Pete Argo. Born May 29th, 1960, he was raised and lived his whole life in the South Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Sammy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Veronica, children: Renee (Danny) Ayala, Davin (Alexandria) Argo and Calandria (Clint) Reno. He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Ayla, Adelynn, Aloryss, and Caroline, whom he loved dearly, sister MaryAnn (Gene) Sanmann, brother Bert (Stacey) Argo, and sister-in-law Charlene Argo, as well as numerous family and friends.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially while taking trips to Elephant Butte Lake. He took pride growing green chile in his garden and inviting everyone over for a roasting party. You could always find Sammy tinkering in his garage and enjoying an ice-cold Corona.
Services will be held at Church of the Ascension on 2150 Raymac Rd SW, Alb, NM 87105. Viewing will be on Wednesday August 31st, 2022 at 6:30 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm. The funeral mass will be Thursday September 1st at 10 am with burial immediately following at Sunset Memorial Park.
