Earl A. “Budd” Hand - February 25, 1954 - April 13, 2022

SMETHPORT — Earl A. “Budd” Hand, 68, of E. Water St.passed away on Wednesday (April 13, 2022) surrounded by his loving family.
Born on Feb. 25, 1954 he was the son of Ernest R. and Eleanor Parker Hand.  On Nov. 24, 1984 he married Sandra Gummo who preceded him in death on May 24, 2012.
Budd was a 1972 graduate of Allegany, N.Y. High School, and then was enlisted in the U.S. Navy as an engine mechanic from 1973 until 1977. He also served in Vietnam on U.S.S. Forrestal. Budd was a lifetime resident of the Eldred Area and used to reside on Slack Hollow.  He was previously employed as a machinist at Case Cutlery.
He was a member of the Eldred American Legion and the Office of Home Building Association.  Budd loved fishing, working in the wood shop and radio boats. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are four sons, Christopher (Kimberly) Hand of Bradford, Matthew (Angie) Hand of Friendship, NY., Zachery (Amanda) Hand of Scio, N.Y., and Timothy Hand of Port Allegany; one sister, Patricia Nichols of Union City; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death including his wife are one son, Buddy Hand in 1985; and one daughter, Alicia Treat in 2017; one brother, Ernest Hand in 2016 and one sister, Julia Hand in 1940.
Friends will be invited to attend a Celebration of Life service, at a later date to be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of Frame Funeral Home, Eldred.

ELDRED, Pa. --- Dennis A. "Dee" Frame, 74, of Main Street, Eldred and Fort White, FL., unexpectedly passed away at home on Sunday, (April 10, 2022).
Born on December 6th, 1947 in Pittsburgh he was the son of Charles M. and Eleanore Hager Frame.
Denny was a 1965 graduate of Otto-Eldred Junior/Senior High School and then went on to attend Clarion University where he received his B.A. in Art. He also received his degree from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1969.
He spent his career as the second-generation funeral director and supervisor of the Frame Funeral Home in Eldred from 1977 to present.
Denny attended the Derrick City Seventh Day Adventist Church; he was a founding member of the Eldred Area Free Library, and a long-time member of the Eldred Area Lion’s Club. Denny loved having the wind in his face and thus thoroughly enjoyed riding his motorcycle and sailing, kayaking, and camping. His other passions include art, birding, and as many of you know, collecting junk. Denny treasured his puppies Dutchess, Dutchess, Isaac “Puppers”, Ginger, and his many kitties especially Precious, Meemers, and Speedy Gonzales.
Surviving are two sons Aaron M. (Bethany) Frame of Smethport; Devin Harris (Jess DeHaven) Frame of Eldred; one daughter Jessica A. (Sam) Hubbard of Arizona; five grandchildren Chance Frame, Brody Frame, Zoe Frame, Blake McCoy, and Reese Kinney; one brother Charles L. (Kathleen) Frame of Herndon, Va.; one sister Crystal M. (Rick) Kunesh of Melbourne, Fl.; as well as one niece Kelly Winslow of Chesapeake, Va.; one nephew Richard (Elizabeth) Frame of Alexandria, Va. He is also survived by his long-time companion Shelly McCann of Eldred.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Leeland and Helen Hager and great aunt Mildred Huch.
Friends may call on Thursday (April 14, 2002) at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred from 2:00-4:00and 6:00 to 9:00 and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m, at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Lynn Gatz and Rev. Jim Kazimer, co-officiating. Burial will follow in Moody Hollow Cemetery, Coryville, PA.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Eldred Area Free Library Association, No Feline Left Behind, or Holbrook Indian School.

Kenneth J. “Ken” Shelander - October 27, 1948 - March 26, 2022

Obituary Preview: Eldred—Kenneth J. “Ken” Shelander,  73, of Loop Rd., passed away on Saturday March 26th, 2022) at Roswell Park in Buffalo.
Born October 27th, 1948 in Olean he was a son of Kenneth A. and Mary E. Zink  Shelander. On March 16th, 1968 in St. Raphael’s Church in Eldred he married Florence N. Hoke, who preceded him in death on February 15th, 2019.
Mr. Shelander was a 1967 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School and then went on to receive a business degree from the Olean Business Institute in 1968.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the US Army from 1968 to 1971 including a 1 year deployment in Vietnam.
Ken spent his career employed in the billing department at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.
He was a lifelong member of St. Raphael’s Church in Eldred, as well as the Knights of Columbus and the National Rifle Association.  He was an avid outdoorsmen and greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Surviving are one son, Kenneth M. Shelander of Eldred; two granddaughters, Chelsea (Kyle Mitchell) Shelander of Enfield, Connecticut, and Alyssa (Damen Palmer) Shelander of Duke Center; and one sister, Karen (Kevin) Wible of Erie, Pa; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife of fifty years, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark A. Shelander and his daughter in law, Kathleen L. Shelander, both on November 20th, 2021.
Friends may call on Tuesday (March 29th, 2022) at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  A mass of Christian Burial will then be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at St. Raphael’s Church in Eldred with the Rev. Thomas E. Brown as Celebrant.  Burial will follow in St. Raphael’s Cemetery , Eldred.

Leon “Ozzy” Hillyard - December 26, 1944 - March 13, 2022

Obituary Preview: Eldred—Leon “Ozzy” Hillyard, 77, of Canfield Hollow Rd., passed away on Sunday (March 13th, 2022) at home.
Born December 26th, 1944 in Olean, he was a son of Ernest and Vivian Mueller Hillyard.
Leon was a 1961 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School and after school he joined the US Airforce in which he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Hillyard spent many years employed as a roustabout working in production for Pennzoil of Bradford until the time of its closing, after which he went to work for Ethan Allen Furniture of Eldred until his retirement.
Leon was a member of the American legion post # 887 of Eldred and a 49 year member of the NRA.  He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing and in his earlier years he was a skilled trapper.  He enjoyed Writing and was a quite prolific at sending “Letters to the Editor” in the local papers.
Surviving are three sons, Mark Hillyard of Bradford, Matthew Hillyard of St. Marys, and Aaron (Sonja)  Hillyard of Bradford; one daughter, Barbara (Jamey) Bernecky of Paigeland South Carolina; 10 grandchildren, Jaryd and Tylin Hillyard, Dylan and Lucas Hillyard, Tiah, Trinity, Jayden, Jaron, and Tegan Bernecky; two sisters, Bonnie (Tom) Jacoby of Duke Center, and Sharon Southard of Prentisvale; and six nieces and one nephew.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Hillyard in 2021, a brother in law, Gary Southard in 2022 and a sister, Cynthia Hillyard in 1979.
Friends may call on Saturday (March 19th, 2022) at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Mike Rex officiating.  Burial will follow in Lamphier Cemetery, Eldred.

Obituary Preview: Steven L. Ault, 61, of Eldred, PA passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at his home.
Born on January 24, 1961 in Bradford, PA., he was the son of Harold K. Ault Sr. and Lucille M. Ault.
Steven was a 1979 graduate of Smethport High School. He had worked for Adelphia in Coudersport, PA. He graduated with Bachelor of Arts  from The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in 2000.
Steve enjoyed fixing things around the house, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandson.
He leaves behind one daughter Tiffany (Christopher) Burr of Roulette, PA; One sister Valerie Ault-Caskey; and six grandchildren Shaylei Burr, Isaac Burr, Meryk Ault, Zofia Burr, Addison Burr and Lorelai Burr.
He was preceded in death by his brother Harold Ault Jr. and his parents.
Service will be held on April 9, 2022 at 12pm at Coryville Church of Faith.

Donald “Butch” Baker - August 11, 1945 - February 13, 2022

Obituary Preview: Donald “Butch” Burton Baker, 76, of Eldred passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 13 at UPMC Cole Hospital in Coudersport surrounded by his children. Fighting a hard and valiant battle with cancer and heart disease, he was finally overcome.
He was born August 11, 1945 in Olean, NY, the son of Fred M. and H. Pauline Baker. On April 25, 1964, he married his high-school sweetheart, Patricia Crandell, who survives.
Don graduated in 1964 from Otto-Eldred High School, where he lettered in varsity football and basketball.
Don enjoyed working with his hands, spending time in his garage building and fixing things, coaching youth sports, and being outdoors gardening, hunting, and golfing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, dedicated father, adored grandfather, and generous friend who did things his way and never let you down when you needed him most.
In addition to his wife of 57 years, he leaves behind his four children Denise (Randy) Cussins of Eldred, PA, Lori (Paul) Damon of Cattaraugus, NY, Susan (Peter) Tyrrell of Akron, NY, and Donald (Tina) Baker of Eldred, PA; his grandchildren Gina (Michael) Brady, Ryan (Jonathan) Rosenswie, Jason (Elba) Keyser, Elizabeth Burns (Ceegan Danielson), Scott Hardway (Anna Frost), Shane Baker (Grant Duke), Joseph (Devon) Burns, Donald Baker, Mitchell Baker and Hannah Powers; seven treasured “great-grands” Ryley, Kellan, Julia, Ameliya, Nash, Beckham, and Ferren; sister-in-law Joyce Baker; sister Marlene (Jerry) Burrows; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Fred Baker, sister Audrey Neily McDonald, and his parents.
Per his request there will not be traditional funeral services. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 19 at the Eldred American Legion at 2:00 PM. Frame Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Penny VanCamp - March 15, 1967 - February 04, 2022

Obituary Preview: Eldred-Penny VanCamp – a ray of sunshine to everyone. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend to all. She proudly held the title “Grammy,” given to her by her grandchildren.
She was surrounded in love by her family as she departed this world on February 4, 2022, at the age of 54.
Penny was born in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania on March 15, 1967, to Marjorie and Lewis Ryder, of Eldred, Pennsylvania.
She was a 1985 graduate of Otto Eldred High School, and had been employed as a paralegal at Kehoe and DeRose Associates for many years.
Penny was the most amazing and devoted wife to her husband, Gregory VanCamp, who were married on December 24, 1983 at the Duke Center Free Methodist Church. She married the love of her life and best friend on the coldest day of the year in the middle of a blizzard, as she would jokingly say. From that day forward they lived a life honoring and serving God raising their two children in Eldred, Pennsylvania. Penny was the epitome of the best mother who gave her all to her children, Keith and Ashley.
Penny was known for her infectious smile and big heart, patience, work ethic, dedication to her career and her devotion for her Lord Jesus. Her hobbies included taking walks with Greg, going on beach vacations with her family, shopping with her daughter, going to the movies, singing praise and worship, attending church, but most importantly being present with her family. She was a devoted fan to her Pittsburgh Steelers, even in the tough times. She was an avid animal lover as her pets were an important part of her family. She was most proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed spending as much quality time with them as she could. She is survived by her husband of thirty eight years, Gregory VanCamp, son Keith and Kayla VanCamp, daughter Ashley and Adam Farr, and four grandchildren she
affectionately referred to as her sun, moon, and stars Grady, Tessa, Lincoln, and Ledger. Also surviving are two brothers Myron and Dean Ryder and several in-laws and extended family members that she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and Lewis Ryder, an infant sister Connie, as well as her mother-in-law Lorraine VanCamp.
A viewing will be held in Eldred at the First Church of God on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 4:00-8:00 pm. Services will be held at the First Church of God on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00 am followed by a luncheon.

Born on July 23, 1948 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Charles E. and Mildred Pelham Slaugenhaupt. Betty attended the Otto Eldred High School and then went on to obtain her GED..
She previously worked for Werzalit in Bradford, Jaguar Clothing Manufacturing in Smethport and then Ethan Allen until her retirement.
Betty loved and collected everything Betty Boop. She also enjoyed doing puzzles, word search, color by numbers, crocheting, reading, Sudoku, and playing cards.
Surviving are three sons, Scott (Delann) Dowell of Eldred, Steven (Bridget Hall) Dowell of Troupsburg, NY., and Dwayne (Elizabeth) Shaw of Eldred; one daughter, Mary (Paul) Doty of Marienville; one sister, Carol Compton of Kane; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren, and a very special nephew Joseph and (Tammy) Slaugenhaupt Jr. of Bradford who was her caretaker.
Preceding her in death is one son, Brian Dowell who passed July 13, 2007; four brothers Robert Slaugenhaupt, Chester Slaugenhaupt, Richard Slaugenhaupt, and Joseph Slaugenhaupt Sr.; and one sister Donna Causer.
Visitation will be held on Sunday (February 06, 2022)from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm with the Funeral Service on Monday (February 07, 2022) at 11 am with Pastor Jim Kazimer officiating. Burial will be in Lamphier Cemetery, Eldred.

Born on July 14, 1943 he was the son of William and Ruby Armstrong Lawhead. On April 30, 1962 in the Baptist Church in Mahaffy, PA he married Darleane who survives.
Richard was a graduate of Purchaseline High School, and resided in Cleveland, OH before moving to Eldred in 1966. He was previously employed by Clark Bro. and later Dresser Rand from 1966 until his retirement in 2009, and retired as a machine shop inspector.
He was a member of the United Steel Workers and enjoyed riding motorcycles along with hunting.
Surviving including his wife, is two sons; Richard Lawhead of Florida, Kendall (Laurie) Lawhead of West Eldred Road, two daughters; Tina (Tom) Brooks of Berwick, Pa. and Tammy (Cory) Gustin of Eldred, six grandchildren Jeffrey Lawhead, Megan Brooks, Becky Brooks, Haley Brooks, Emma Gustin, and Noah Gustin.
Visitation will be held on Monday (January 24, 2022) from 4 to 6pm  and 7 to 9pm with the Funeral Service on Tuesday (January 25, 2022) at 11am with Pastor Jim Cannistraci officiating.  A luncheon will be held at the Eldred American Legion Post# 887 following the service.  Burial will be in Lamphier Cemetery, Eldred. SMETHPORT — David A. “Dave” Kimble Sr., 59, of Valley Crossroad passed away on Sunday (January 16, 2022) at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on April 8, 1962, he was the son of Emmit P. and Carolyn S. Smith Kimble.
Dave was a 1979 graduate of Smethport High School. He was a veteran of the US Navy where he served  as an Aviation Ordnanceman. After the Navy he was employed by Case Cutlery and Zippo Manufacturing, both in Bradford, for over 24 years prior to retiring due to illness.
He was a member of both the VFW Post 2497 and the Bucktail Post #138 of the American Legion in Smethport. Dave enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, going on joy rides in his truck, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving is one son, David (Lexi) Kimble Jr. of Smethport; four daughters, Dynah Kimble of Smethport, Brooke (Anthony Cesa) Taggart of Smethport, Heather Kimble of Smethport, and Tanya Kimble in Wisconsin; two brothers, Steven Kimble of Coleville and Carl (Jen) Kimble in Mississippi; and three sisters, Kathy (Amon Brock) Gallagher of Coleville, Brenda (Dana) Gordon of Eldred and Corinne (Tracy) VanVolkenburg of Falconer, N.Y.;  as well as five grandchildren, Jordan, Matthew, Wylie, Caden, and Miley.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Stephanie George in 2021.
Visitation will be held on Thursday (Jan. 20, 2022) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, where funeral services will be held on Friday (Jan. 21, 2022) at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jim Cannistraci officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Farmers Valley.

He enjoyed taking care of his parents and going on vacation with his daughters.

Preceding him in death including his parents and wife are three brothers; Paul Hahn, Lloyd Hahn, and his twin brother Jerry, three sisters; Eileen Holly, Bernice Ward, and Anna Wells, two great grandchildren; Andrew Halliday, Jacob Halliday.
Visitation will be held on Monday (January 10, 2022) at the Frame Funeral Home from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday (January 11, 2022) at St. Raphael’s Church at 11 am with Father Joe Gutting officiating.

Kathleen Bryan-Milliron - June 24, 1959 - January 02, 2022

DUKE CENTER — Kathleen L. “Kathy” Bryan-Milliron, 62, went to be with the love of her life, Bruce, on Sunday (Jan. 2, 2022) surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born June 24, 1959 in Olean, N.Y., she was a daughter of Harold and Annie Bowley Kohn. On Feb. 18, 1996, she married Bruce E. Milliron, who preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2010.
Kathy was a 1977 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School and upon graduation, enlisted in the U.S. Navy. During her time in the Navy she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. Mrs. Milliron served her country for almost twenty years as a corpsman, finally retiring as a Chief Petty Officer (E-7).
After her service, Kathy dedicated her life to raising her children. Along with her family, she spent eight years living in Florida prior to moving back to Duke Center after Bruce’s death in 2010. In Duke Center, she became involved with the Otto-Eldred School Board, launching the annual Milliron Marshall Memorial Run and most of all, she was devoted to her family and to being a fantastic friend.
Surviving are one son, Hobie (Kirstyn Whitman) Milliron of Duke Center; and two daughters, Hannah (Brianna Strickland) Milliron of Pensacola, Fla. and Tereina (Christopher) Walk of Lake Worth, Fla.; three grandchildren, Madden Milliron, Michael and Scarlett Walk; and four siblings, Nancy Larson Carney, Patti Larson Prosser, Terry Kohn and Julie Kohn Thompson.
In addition to her husband of fourteen years, she was preceded in death by her parents.
At Kathleen’s request no public services are to be held, private services are to be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Moody Hollow Cemetery.

She was a 1952 graduate of Otto Eldred High School and a 1954 graduate of Buffalo University. In 1954 she married Franklin J. Stebbins Jr who has since passed away. She then married Lorain L. Swatt on October of 1967 in Winchester, Virginia, he preceded her in death on July 17th, 1978. In September of 1980 she married Robert W. Stohr at the Presbyterian Church in Port Allegany, who has also proceeded her in death on June 10th 2002.
In the early 1980's she helped start the VNA and Hospice in McKean and Potter County. Janet was also on the Board for VNA for many years through the Office of Human Services and received the Mary Keller award for several years for outstanding service. She was the former Owner of the Victorian Shopee in Port Allegany, former co-owner of Victorian Gardens Flower antique and gift shop in Smethport, and co-owner of the Black Berry Inn Bed and Breakfast and the Carriage House Antique Flower Gift Shop in Smethport along with her son Ric Stebbins.
Janet was a dedicated member right up until its closing of the St. Matthews Episcopal Church, a member of St. Joseph's Episcopal Church, First Presbyterian Church both of Port Allegany, and towards the end a  member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Smethport. During those times she was a lay reader, Sunday school teacher, and a member of the choir where her singing voice will always be remembered.  Janet enjoyed painting, sewing, knitting, collecting antiques, gardening, and other arts and crafts. She was also a die hard Penn State fan. She loved the holidays and being with the family and cooking large meals. She was well known for her baking skills.
Surviving are two sons, Robert A. Stebbins of Eldred and Joseph J. Swatt III (JoAnn Love) of Cuba, NY; one daughter-in-law Wanda Stebbins (Boyd Fitzsimmons) of Eldred; four grandchildren, Matthew J. (Maria) Stebbins of New Castle, Jeffrey M. Stebbins (Grant Cupp) of Pittsburgh, Devon L. (Ashley) Swatt of Warren and Joshua (Danielle) Stebbins of Eldred; three great grandchildren Kameca and Brice Stebbins and Emmett Swatt.
Preceding her in death including her parents and late husbandswere two sons Richard “Ric” T. Stebbins of Smethport on February 1st 2002 and Randy F. Stebbins of Eldred on February 2nd 2004.
Visitation will be held on Friday (January 07, 2022) from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Charles Frame Funeral Home in Eldred with the funeral service on Saturday (January 08, 2022) at 11 a.m. at St.Luke's Episcopal Church in Smethport.
Following the service, dinner will be provided by The Son's of the American Legion at the American Legion in Elderd.
Memorial contributions may be made to the McKean County VNA or Hospice.

She graduated from Bradford High and was a lifelong member of McKean County.
Gladys was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, along with crafting, puzzles, playing games and doing paint by numbers.
She is survived by her husband, two sons; Nicholas (Bobbi) Herbstritt of Port Allegany and Michael (Terri) Herbstritt of Custer City, three brothers; Tony Chirillo of Kane, Joe Chirillo of Bradford, and Jake Chirillo of Kane, three sisters; Mary Beth Alcorn of Bradford, Rose Mary Saltsman of Routlette and Kathy Carlson of Kane; 15 grand children; Joshua Harris, William Harris, Christopher Harris of Bradford, Courtney Harris of Port Allegany, Cora Herbstritt of Port Allegany, Sydney Fitzsimmons of Custer City, Reece Kittilson of Port Allegany, Zachary Herbstritt of Olean, NY, Kyle (Kim) Herbstritt of Eldred, Jenna Herbstritt of Tennessee, Trenton Dowell, Abrianna Dowell, Kayleigha Dowell, Stephen Herbstritt, CeCe Herbstritt of Port Allegany, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death along with her parents are one daughter; Dawn Marie Harris who passed in December 28, 2006 and two sisters; Cindy Bean of Kane, and Jackie Daise of Kane.
There will be no services at this time.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Obituary Preview: FARMERS VALLEY — David L. Shick, 78, of Farmers Valley passed away unexpectedly on  Friday (Dec. 24, 2021).
Born on June 13, 1943, in Olean, N.Y., he was the son of Frank F. and Anna Eleonora Okerlund Shick. Mr. Shick lived in Coryville until July 27, 1963 when he married Linda R. Brown, who resided in Farmers Valley.
Mr. Shick attended the Eldred Township School at Indian Creek and the Otto-Eldred High School in Duke Center.
He was employed by Quaker State Oil Refining Company as Sign Painter/Paint Shop Foreman until his entry into the Army.
After the military, he attended Spartan College of Aeronautics acquiring his single and multi-engine pilot and flight instructor certifications.
He worked at Midstate Airlines in Wisconsin where he managed an airport along with a flight school at three airports. He also managed Midstate in acquiring a Piper Aircraft Dealership.
In the late 70s he accepted a position with Viking Aviation in Lacrosse, Wisc., as Chief Instructor and Pilot Examiner.
In 1986 he accepted a position with the Federal Aviation Administration in South Bend, Ind. as an Aviation Safety Inspector which was followed four years later as the Front-Line Manager of the FAA office.
David retired from the FAA in January 2010 and returned with Linda to Farmers Valley.
He loved hunting and fishing and loved his English Setters.
Surviving are his wife Linda, their son, David (Connie) Shick Jr. of Rixford; daughter, Danette L. Swanson of Plainfield, Ind.; along with grandchildren Andrew Shick, Ryan and Anna Swenson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Donald, and sister Janet.
Friends may call on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Dec. 29, 2021) at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Rick Price officiating. Burial will be in Moody Hollow Cemetery, Coryville.

Born on August 23, 1936 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Paul and Winnie Gulnac Sr.  She attended the Otto High School and had been a lifetime resident of the area.  Janet had been employed by the Viko Furniture Co. in Eldred for several years and later was employed at the Bradford Nursing Pavilion for twenty years as a Nurses Aid.  For many years she worked at the family service station, Gulnac Service in Prentisvale, PA.  She was a former member of the Lighthouse Community Church in Prentisvale before it closed.  Janet loved dancing and working crossword puzzles.
Surviving are two sons, Keith (Donna) Bidwell and Paul (Stephanie) Bidwell both of Eldred and two daughters, Mary Lou (Dana) Bennett of Rixford and Cathy (Gary) Brown of Eldred, sixteen grandchildren, Stephanie, Jessica and Jermey; Travis, Shelbey and Tanya; Adrianna, Zac, Damian, Shane and Cody; Paul Jr., Bryan, Ashley, Susan and Nathan, thirty-one great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
