Christine Marie Longo - May 13, 1952 - February 28, 2020

Departed: 02/28/2020 (Toms River)
Obituary Preview: Christine Marie Longo was welcomed into heaven on February 28, 2020. Her husband Tom was waiting for her with a big smile and an even bigger hug.
Christine was born on May 13, 1952 in Erie, PA. She was an inspiration to those who knew her. She taught us all some very valuable life lessons: to never give up despite your circumstances, to always tell those around you how much you love them, and to live each day with gratitude. She was her happiest when she was making homemade crafts with her grandchildren, hanging out with family, and playing the slots in Atlantic City. Her strength inspired those around her to always persevere. Her smile could light up a room - but nothing could make her smile bigger than some homemade Italian food.
Christine was a lover of elephants, which makes sense because they are considered to be a symbol of luck, strength, and compassion. She was lucky enough to have a beautiful life here on earth, surrounded every day by those she loved so much. She had the strength to overcome any obstacle thrown her way with grace. Her compassion shined through each day by the kindness and respect she showed everyone she came in contact with. She will be so deeply missed, because she was so incredibly loved.
Christine is predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas Peter Longo II; parents, Patsy E. Morabito and Rose M. Morabito; sibling Patrick Morabito. Christine is survived by her children, Thomas Peter Longo III and wife Nicole Longo; Andrew Longo and his wife Meghan Longo; brother, Joseph Morabito and wife Lois Morabito; sister in law Ginny Morabito. She was a proud grandparent to Colette Longo and Thomas Peter Longo IV.
The family will receive relatives and friends Friday, March 6, 2020 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River, New Jersey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30am, Saturday, March 7, 2020 at St. Justin the Martyr Roman Catholic Church, 975 Fischer Blvd., Toms River, New Jersey with entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.

Departed: 11/10/2019 (Toms River)
Obituary Preview: Daniel V. Foley 23 of Toms River NJ passed away instantly in an automobile accident on Sunday, November 10th, 2019.
Born in Bayonne, moved soon after to Toms River. Graduated from Toms River East High School and worked for the Brick MUA. Dan was always a role model for all and was there to lend a helping hand. He became the kind and compassionate man from the endless lessons learned from his family, especially his father, whom he respected immensely. He grew up with a passion and knowledge of building and restoring muscle cars, a bond he shared with his loving dad. Mom will forever cherish their morning coffee time together, amazing hugs, and “love you” goodbyes as the sun would rise before work. Until they hug again, she will feel his embrace in the blowing wind and start her day with strength from God and a morning sunrise. While there are no words for a sister’s love for her brother, she will be comforted remembering her brother saying “love ya Kate” every night before bed, concluding every phone call, or when parting ways for the day, without hesitation. For now, it’s “love ya Dan, I miss you, and I’ll be seeing you, my best friend.”
Dan treasured his time with family and friends. His interests consisted of the love of longboarding, spending time at the beach and snowboarding with his cousin Jimmy the second a snowflake fell.
Dan will forever live in the hearts of his loving parents Ned and Tina, sister Katie and beloved dog Jamie.
He will be missed by his grandparents, Donna and the late Aloysius Olencewicz; Donald and Lillian Foley Sr. Aunts and Uncles, Maryann and the late John Bruno; Lisa Murillo, husband Frank; Don Foley Jr, Sandy Szczepanski; Jason Foley, wife Maureen
Cousins, Christina and her husband Christopher, their sons Cody and Casey; Maria; DJ and wife Katelyn, their daughters Sophia and Olivia; Zackary and Devon; Jimmy, girlfriend Brianna; Jessica, husband Tim; Michaela, Maura, and Kieran.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 15th from 3pm to 7 pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Justin’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 16th at 9:30am. Burial will be private.

Annie loved her birthday (should’ve been a national holiday). She loved, a beer, wine, a party, dancing (especially dancing with all her nephews together), swimming and the Yankees and Giants. Annie loved everyone! When asked “Am I your favorite?” Annie would reply, “I love everyone the same.” Trust us we all tried to get her to pick “ME!” She loved teasing but then would say, “I teasing you!” and laugh. Her favorite present, “Hugs and kisses are the best!” she gave us kisses everyday including her last.
Annie had a very important job at Social Services where she worked for 23 years. She did not miss a day of work willingly, it had to be preplanned in advance. She would remind us, “my staff needs me.” Annie trusted and loved all her coworkers over the years and they watched over her like she was one of their own. Annie resided in 21+ group homes and apartments for over 30 years. She loved her 21+ family and was grateful for all the care and opportunity they provided her. Many of her roommates were very special to her including her “coffee buddy” Sheila.
Anne was predeceased by her parents Jack and Jane (nee Hartnett) McCarthy.
Annie is survived by her brothers and sisters, as well as her many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Annie was part of a large extended family that treasured her. She returned that love every minute of every day of her life. Annie was a source of unconditional love to anyone lucky enough to cross her path and a blessing to everyone she met.
