Jennifer Lynn Shank - April 23, 1952 - April 12, 2021

Obituary Preview: Jennifer Lynn Shank, age 68, of Delta, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 12, 2021. She was born on April 23, 1952 in Logansport, Indiana to Joe B. Bowyer and Jane E. Eichensehr.
Jennifer attended Onward and then Lewis Cass High School in Walton, IN. In-between high school and working to attain her bachelor’s degree, she became a member of Mensa and was heavily involved with the local artist community and 4-H dog training programs. Later, when she attended college, Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ivy Tech, with a degree in computer technology, ranking twelfth in the state within her class. In her free time, she loved riding horses, drawing, sculpting, painting, attending her kids’ and grandkids’ sporting events, and cooking.
Jennifer worked for many years at Ameri-Tek Manufacturing as an Office Director and after retiring from her position there, began work as a full-time antiquities dealer specializing in glassware from around the world.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michelle Heishman, Sean and Jennifer (Hackett) Shank and Jon Cook; grandchildren, Hana Hettmansperger, Jacob Hettmansperger, Jaxon Hettmansperger, Julie Fox, Maddie Fox, Jonah Shank and Daniel Dale Shank; siblings, Steve (Debbie) Bowyer and Joseph Bowyer and their families; father, Joe Bowyer; dear friends, Debbie Crockett, Joe (Nancy) McIntosh, Gayle (Alex) Parkevich and Terry Lantz; and all of her extended family from the Shank and Bowyer Families; beloved furry friends, Creed, Sophie, and Mona. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane; her husband, Daniel F. Shank, and her brother-in-law, Michael Shank (both in 2020).
At Jennifer’s request, all services were private for her immediate family.
To any who would like to provide a donation or gift for the family, her children would ask that you give the donation to St. Jude’s Hospital for Children. It was the primary charity that she, and her husband Daniel, donated to for many years.

Robert "Mike" Harbour - March 18, 1953 - April 10, 2021

Obituary Preview: Robert "Mike" Harbour was a preacher, husband, and father. Mike had many friends around the country and the world. He went to his eternal reward on April 10, 2021, after becoming suddenly ill.
Mike was born in Huntington, West Virginia, on March 18, 1953 to Sylvester and Iona Harbour. He grew up in Weston, Ohio, and graduated from Otsego High School. After high school, he began working at Campbell's Soup Company where he worked for 22 years. During that time, he met his wife, Mary Jo, and they had three children: Melissa (Keith), Michael (Michelle), and Marshall (Brenna).
Their family moved to Wauseon in 1980 and that same year Mike became a Christian, which led to his true calling for his life. He began preaching the Gospel and teaching others about Jesus, which he continued for the rest of his earthly life. He began preaching full-time in 1995 at the Archbold First Church of Christ and helped begin Christ's Church in Wauseon in 2001. His preaching, humor, and caring attitude gave him the opportunity to minister to thousands in the United States and to others through international humanitarian work.
Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Baylan. Mike is survived by his wife, three children, eleven grandchildren and two sisters (Kathy Fry and Gloria Wicker). They will miss him very much but are thankful that he has fought the good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith.

Obituary Preview: John R. Estel, age 92, of Wauseon passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Fulton Manor in Wauseon. John worked as a press mechanic at Campbell’s in Napoleon for 20 years. He also farmed, was a carpenter, and worked for UPS.
John was born on October 18, 1928 to the late John and Florence (Hatfield) Estel. On November 4, 1950, John married Marilyn Woodard, who preceded him in death in 2017. From 1953 to 1955, John served our country as a member of the United States Air Force. John was an avid golfer, loved to fly remote control airplanes, and was a member of American Legion Post #265 and VFW Post #7424.
Surviving John is his son, John (Teresa) Estel of Colorado; son, Roger (Rhonda) Estel of North Carolina; son, David Estel of Wauseon; son, Jim (Judy) Estel of Wauseon; son, Terry Estel of Wauseon; son, Scott Estel of Toledo; fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Lady. John was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and his sisters,.

Lenore "Honey" E. McQuillin - January 23, 1932 - April 02, 2021

Obituary Preview: Lenore “Honey” McQuillin of Delta, Ohio passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April 2, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Honey was born on January 23, 1932 to Henry (dec.) and Isabel (dec.) (Steinbrecher) Lind. Her nickname came from her dad calling her his Honey girl. She was the sister of Laurence (dec.) (Stazy) Lind and Louise (Robert) Gilson. On November 23, 1950 she married Clarence Elden McQuillin (dec.), nicknamed Buck. From that union came her pride and joy of four children: Mary Jane (Mike) Storeholder, Marilyn (Roger) DeMond, Rex (Joan) McQuillin, and Tim (Ellie) McQuillin.
Surviving Honey are her six grandchildren: Scott (Missy MCullough) Storeholder, Joshua (Nishi) DeMond, Justin (JoDee) DeMond, Melissa (Dustin Hawk) McQuillin, Jessica (Scott) Keller, Tim McQuillin, Jr.; three step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Honey was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Wauseon for most of her life and taught Sunday School for about 35 years to preschoolers that included her son, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren. Honey delivered Meals on Wheels for several years.
Honey was outside more than inside and grew vegetables, fruits, and flowers that she shared with others. She had a great sense of humor, sassy comebacks, and enjoyed country music and line dancing. Honey loved riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle during the summer and decorating her home for the Christmas holidays. Honey was always baking delicious cakes and decorating them for family and friends’ birthdays and weddings.
The family thanks Browning Masonic Pathways staff for the loving care they gave Honey during her dementia years and Ohio Living for the compassionate care provided to Honey and her family.

Michael attended Christ Community Church in Ridgeville and was a member at the Aetna Grange. He was an avid hunter and member of the NRA. He was born to Vernon L. and Carol K. (Siegel) Mull on January 11, 1956.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Elizabeth Siegel; paternal grandparents, Ora and Edith Mull; and mother, Carol Mull. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Alyse Mull; sons, Randy (Sam) Mull and Ryan Mull; and daughter, Traci (Lee) Gobrogge. He is also survived by step-children, Heather (Derek) Ruplinger; Kara (Oscar) Cordova; eight grandchildren: Kennedy, Jamison, Reed, MaKaylah, ILaynah, Gracie, Austin, and Sydney; father, Vernon Mull (Kate Parker); siblings, Denise (Ted) Howard, Steve (Kathy) Mull, Ron Mull, and Lisa (Bob) Cass.
He loved and appreciated his church family and said he didn’t walk alone, he walked with Christ. He enjoyed and loved his family and knew no strangers.

Jo married Paul Brubaker Dec 17th,1988, he survives. Also surviving and left to cherish her memory are 3 sons, Jason (Ruth) Elledge, Josh (Heather) Stump and Ryan (Crystal) Stump. 3 siblings, Debbie Hoover, David (Denise) DeLong and Laurie Wachtmann. Jo was blessed with 10 grandchildren. Nykoma Elledge, Brea Elledge, Mara Elledge, Sophia Elledge, Ashley Barton, Brandon Barton, Ashlyn Morey, Caitlyn Mcdonough, Blake Mcdonough and Bryson Stump and 4 Great Grandchildren, Brodyn, Nevaeh, Braydon and Oaklynn. 9 Nieces and Nephews. Justin (Tina) Williams, Stacia (Pedro) Rodriguez, Alyssa Williams, Christopher (Rachel) Hoover, Anna Hoover, Adam (Shania) DeLong, Devin (Emma) DeLong, Brandon (Erin) Wachtmann and Braden (Kevin) Wachtmann and Brother in Law, Robert Brubaker. 12 Great Nieces and Nephews. Tim Sonnenberg, age 73, of Wauseon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Toledo Hospital. Tim was the son of Victor and Frances (Miller) Sonnenberg of Holgate, Ohio.
Tim served as County Agriculture and 4-H Extension Agent with The Ohio State University in Hocking County in the early 1970’s. He was also a dairy farmer in Henry County, on the family farm in the mid 70’s – 80’s. Tim then served as Senior Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon, Ohio for 24 years, retiring in 2012. Tim also retired from the Air Force as a Lt. Col. serving 38 years active duty and in the Air Force Reserves and Air National Guard. Tim and his wife Diane were Lecturers at Makumira Lutheran Seminary, Tanzania, Africa and at Voi Lutheran Bible School, Kenya – East Africa.
Tim was preceded in death by his son, Rob. He is survived by his wife, Diane; children, Dusty (Cheryl), Carey (Naomi), Jill (Jeremiah) Brinke and Ladd (Sara). He had 9 grandchildren and a sister, Vickie (Tom) Andres and brother, Steve (Karen) Sonnenberg.
Because of the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, funeral services will be private for Tim’s immediate family only.  Private interment will be in Wauseon Union Cemetery.

Alice was born August 18, 1938 in Hudson, MI to the late Elwood and Eunice (Beck) Larned. She graduated from Wauseon High School. Alice was an active member at the Church of the Master in Wauseon, where she was greatly involved in the United Methodist Women's group and served as a longtime delegate to the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving Alice is her son, Mark Potter of Archbold; grandson, Josh Potter of Wauseon; granddaughter, Shelby Potter; granddaughter, Natasha Potter; granddaughter, Amanda (Chris) Asplin; and great-grandson, Aiden Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Potter.

Obituary Preview: Vickey Sue (Denn) Finn, age 79,  passed away from natural causes on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at her home in Wauseon. Vickey was born on April 23, 1941 in Wauseon to Ellet (Chauncey) Denn and I. Alice (Davidson) Denn.  She was raised in Wauseon and attended Wauseon High School graduating from the "new" WHS in 1959.  She then attended Riverside Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1962 with a RN degree.
Vickey married William Finn in 1963 and they were blessed with three boys,  Michael (Terri) Finn of Toledo,  Patrick Finn of Defiance, and John Finn of Denver, Colorado.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and numerous aunts and uncles.  Vickey is survived by her sons, grandchildren, Michaela Finn, Abbey Finn, Jacob Finn, Jordan (Autumn) Finn, Colin Finn, Dekan (Sarah) Finn, and Lilly Finn,  great-granddaughter Adelaide Finn, and her brother, Sam (Sandy) Denn, of Wauseon.  She is also survived by her beloved dog, Maggie.
Vickey worked at Defiance Hospital in the ER and OB-GYN departments for 25 years and then at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida for 5 years in the high-risk neo-natal unit.  After leaving Florida, Vickey was a  traveling nurse in Florida, Texas, and Arizona.  Vickey returned to Wauseon and worked at Henry County Hospital and later as a home health care nurse until her retirement in 2018.
Funeral services will be private with no visitation due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.  A memorial service is being planned for family at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Wauseon. Pastor Steve Geske will officiate.
The family requests no flowers or other gifts but memorial contributions can be given to: Emmaus Lutheran Church, Wauseon, Ohio or to the Fulton County Special Olympics or to the Heartland Hospice.

Shirley M. Brown, age 95, of Wauseon was given her angel wings on February 8, 2021 at CHP Hospice in Defiance, Ohio with her son, Richard, by her side.
Shirley was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 6, 1925 to Albert and Fannie (Wick) Cole. She was the second of nine children. When she was young, the family moved to the Metamora area.
In her teens, she worked jobs in Adrian, Michigan and the Pet Milk Company in Delta, Ohio. It was there she met her husband to be, Donald Brown. They were married on September 26, 1945 and raised four children. After that, Shirley had jobs at Wauseon Manufacturing, Lawson’s and thirteen years as a housekeeper at the Fulton County Health Center until her retirement.
Shirley was preceded in death by husband, Donald; daughter, Linda and son, Harold; five brothers and two sisters. Surviving are daughter, Beverly (George) Walworth; son, Richard Brown; sister, Janice Ridgley of Lees Summit, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Funeral Services will be Private due to ongoing health concerns.
Memorials for Shirley may be given to Emmaus Lutheran Church, Wauseon, Ohio or CHP Hospice in Defiance, Ohio.

Charles E. Keatley, age 67, of Fayette, obtained his wings on Saturday, February 6, 2021, after a long, hard battle with Lung Disease. He was a U.S. Army Veteran with a beautiful soul and a big heart. He dedicated his life to giving to those in need even when he was in need himself at times. He loved going to the Toledo Art Museum, flying airplanes, and teaching children about art. He will be missed tremendously. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Keatley; mother, Doris Brown; and brother, George Keatley.
Surviving is his girlfriend, Lavina Manion; sister, Lani and James Mylek, her children, Tammy Escalera, Dawn Keatley, Troy Keatley; sister, Peggy Keatley, her children, Michelle Keatley, Jody Rome, Alisha Anderson, Johnny Anderson; sister, Jeri Cooper, her children, Brandy and Jason Malarkey, Bobbie and DeVante’ Bryant, Keith and Linda Burgess; son of brother, George, Jacob Keatley. Maurice "Maury" Godden Callender - December 13, 1944 - February 05, 2021

Obituary Preview: Maury, age 76, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at Maple View Farm Assisted Living in Hudson, MI. He was the only child of Neal and Pauline Godden Callender, born in Almont, MI on December 13, 1944. He married Marlene Ann Fulton on June 6, 1970. Maury graduated from Capac High School in 1963. After graduation from high school, he worked for area farmers and worked in Port Huron at Pontiac Motors. Maury entered the United States Army in 1965 and was stationed in Germany. After his term ended, he enrolled at Michigan State University. Upon completion of his degree in Elevator Management, he started working at The Andersons. He worked there for 37 years. He worked in the feed mill and later did feed trials and feed deliveries in the tristate area. After the closing of the feed mill, he transferred to the retail trucking division.
After retiring, he started his Ag products business. He sold and delivered hay, straw, and livestock bedding throughout northwest Ohio and southern Michigan. He also farmed with his son, Neal. They grew corn, soybeans, and baled lots of hay and straw. He enjoyed his livestock also. Maury had a farrow to finish hog operation until the 1990's, then switched to raising beef cattle.
Maury was an active member of Fulton County. He was past master of Aetna Grange, a 4-H Adviser for the Farmers of Tomorrow 4-H Club, the Fulton County Ag Hall of Fame Committee, served on the Clinton Township Zoning Board of Appels and President of the Fulton County Pork Producers. In 2008, he was inducted into the Fulton County Ag Hall of Fame. He also helped his wife with her catering business for seventeen years.

Thomas M Nolan was born on October 2nd, 1955 in Louisville Kentucky to the late Lucille Hartman and Robert Nolan. He grew up in Louisville, Kentucky before joining the Navy for 6 years, obtaining a bachelor's degree, and then becoming an environmental engineer. In 1997 he married Laura Gordon and raised a daughter and son in Whitehouse, Ohio. Surviving is wife Laura of Whitehouse, Ohio, daughter Shelby of Fairborn, Ohio, and son Roy of Maumee, Ohio.
Tom was a devoted father, loving husband, mentor to many, and loyal friend with a sharp wit and tremendous sense of humor. His work ethic was unmatched, there wasn't much he didn't know how to fix, and he was always willing to help family and friends. He loved his children very much and enjoyed driving his daughter Shelby to school and watching her excel at college as well as numerous sporting events. He taught his son Roy how to shoot, hunt, and be a good man.
An avid outdoorsman, Tom spent over 40 years of deer hunting seasons in Zaleski State Forest with his friends and family. He very much enjoyed reloading, working on, and shooting firearms as well as brewing his own beer. Cooking for family and friends was one of his favorite past times, although sometimes it was a bit spicy! Tom experienced many adventures camping with his horse Pandero and spending time with his dog Bandit. The family and close friends plan to bring his ashes back to his favorite hunting place this fall.
Anyone who knew Tom would agree he was an extremely tough and resilient man who didn't always talk alot but when he did, you knew it mattered. He will surely be missed. Per Tom's request there will be no services but in lieu of flowers he did want donations made in his name to:

She married Efrain Cardenas July 19, 1982 in Bryan, Ohio through civil court. Then they married on September 28, 1983 in Mexico.
Maria was a passionate woman who enjoyed working, cooking, shopping, planting flowers, and spending time with her daughters, son in laws and grandchildren. They meant everything to her. Her specialty was making tamales and making sure her flower beds looked amazing. She loved to help others and always gave advice to others and loved to work. She never liked to sit around so she was always finding something to do whether it was doing outside work, cleaning, cooking, or enjoying her grandkids. She was a hard worker and never thought any job was too hard. She loved taking her grandkids out to eat and buying them whatever they wanted. She attended their school and sporting events. She left an amazing legacy.
Maria was extremely loving and proud of her 3 daughters Sara (Pablo) Mateo, Carmelina (Daniel) Jimenez, Martha (Levi) Martinez and her amazing 11 grandkids Jasmin, Daniel Jr., Dulce, Emmanuel, Angel, MariCarmen, Levi Jr., Paula, Ivan, Alexia, and Alejandra.

Diane Louise Drewes (Short) succumbed to COVID-19 on Monday, January 18th 2021 at the age of 75 at the CHP Hospice Center in Defiance, Ohio. Born to Samuel and Rebecca Short on November 29, 1945, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Diane joined the Air Force after graduating high school in Alabama and served during the Vietnam War. While stationed on the east coast she met her husband of 40 years, Larry Drewes, who preceded her in death in 2010. Together they had 4 children: Corby (Roberta) Drewes, Canton, Ohio; Laura (Ken) Brown, Wauseon, Ohio; Georgia (JD) Schnitkey, Wauseon, Ohio; and Damon (Lindsay) Drewes, Wauseon, Ohio. In addition to raising 4 children, Diane was blessed with 12 grandchildren, one of whom was waiting for her in heaven.
Diane was a dedicated mother and grandmother, always putting their needs before her own. She loved watching her kids and grandkids participate in school activities and sports and was always the loudest and proudest fan in the crowd. Her friends knew her as a fun-loving, kind-hearted person who genuinely cared about their well-being. While residing at Fountain Park Assisted Living in Bryan, Ohio she was elected Resident Council President and fiercely advocated for her fellow residents and friends.

Carolyn Sue Colon, age 82, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on January 16, 2021. Sue was born on January 23, 1938, in Wauseon to the late Dallas and Dorotha (Fouty) Spring. On May 5, 1956, she married Richard Allen "Mouse" Colon, to whom she was married for 58 years. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2015.
Sue graduated from Wauseon High School in 1955. After graduation she worked in the office for Wayne Lammon and Sons and for Drs. Cotterman and Davis. In 1968, she received her Practical Nursing License and worked for Detweiler Memorial Hospital and Drs. Cotterman and Davis as a nurse. Sue later worked for Colon-Gype Motors, Inc. She retired in 1998 after working 21 years in Fulton County Clerk's Office, Bureau of Support and Auditors Office, and after retirements, she worked for five years for Aggressive Title.
Sue was a member of First Church of God in Wauseon, where she served as recording secretary for many years and taught in the King's Kids Program. Sue was also a member of the original Fulton County Humane Society and Public Employees Retirees, Inc. She delivered Meals on Wheels and enjoyed helping serve community meals. Sue had a heart for helping people and animals. More than anything, she loved being a mom and grandma; all of the neighborhood children became like one of her kids or grandkids. While she chose the dogs she raised and loved, her cats chose her by appearing at her house out of nowhere.
Surviving are her children, Roy (Diane) Colon of Pettisville and Christine (Darrell) Peckham of Leander, TX; grandchildren, Adam Colon, Tiffany (Bret) Silveus, and Eric and Kiefer Peckham; great-grandchildren, Adilyn Colon, and Drew, Ehren and Kirstin Silveus. Also surviving is sister-in-law, Patricia Spring. Sue was also preceded in death by stepmother, Nola Spring; brother, Russell (Crista) Spring; stepbrothers, Russell (Helen) and Leslie (Thelma) Neuenschwander; and stepsister, Joan Klopfenstein.

Kenneth K. Brink, age 78, of Wauseon passed away January 12, 2021 at St. Luke’s in Toledo, Ohio after a brief illness. Prior to retirement, Kenneth worked at La Choy Food Products in Archbold for over 39 years.
Born on October 1, 1942 in New Bavaria, Ohio, Kenneth was the son of Ira and Lorinda (Retcher) Brink. He graduated from Holgate High School. Kenneth served his country as a member of the United States Navy from 1962 to 1966. Kenneth always had to be busy, and thus was a very dedicated volunteer at the Wauseon Senior Center. He was a member of Legion Post #265, and the Lions Club. He also loved rooting for all Holgate Tiger sports teams. He loved music and was an active member of First Church of God in Wauseon and its choir. Kenneth is survived by his son, William Brink; daughter, Tammy Brink; grandchildren, Abbigail Murphy, Cera Brink, Gary Brink, Nikki Snyder, Lori Farkas, and Kenneth Belman. He is also survived by great-grandchildren Troy Murphy, Finn Snyder, Violet Snyder, Kinsley Snethen,
Caspen Snethen; sister, Anna Marchant; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Cynthea St. Germaine.
