He was born in 1952 to James and Charlotte Patton. In his youth he spent time as  a member of the National Guard. James recently retired from running his own home repair franchise. James was a Master Plumber and Project Manager on many construction projects from Baltimore to the Eastern Shore. He enjoyed spending time with his wife,daughter, and dogs. He enjoyed gardening, going to the beach, smoking cigars, watching historical documentaries, and making amazing Dad jokes.
He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Patton, his sister, Doreen McGurl, and his loving  mother, Charlotte Patton.
He was recently preceded in death by the love of his life and his wife of 44 years Elizabeth Patton and his father James Patton. Memorial donations may be made to the Seasons Hospice Foundation. http://seasonsfoundation.org/donate/
A Celebration Of Life service for both James and Betsy Patton will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home and Crematory (in Odenton) on Saturday, August 4th at 2 pm.
