Obituary Preview: Cheshire: Eileen Wells Nuttall, 104, of 90 North Street in Cheshire passed away at home on Easter Sunday. Born in Brooklyn, NY on November 28, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Nina Hathaway Wells. A lifelong resident of Cheshire, she was educated in Cheshire and Adams schools and was a 1931 graduate of the former Adams High School. She also attended the New York School of Interior Design. She proudly served our country during World War II in the United States Army Women’s Air Corp 311 with the photo reconnaissance wing. She married her husband, the late Hollis J. Nuttall on February 25, 1950 at the First Baptist Church of Cheshire. He died on December 24, 1986. A homemaker, she was very active in the Cheshire community. She attended the First Baptist Church of Cheshire; she had been a member of the Ladies Reading Club since 1933 and was a founding member of the Cheshire Historical Commission and a member of the Adams Historical Society. She was also a member of the Stafford Chapter of Eastern Star of Cheshire and the Eastern Star Franklin Chapter #92 of Adams. She enjoyed antiques and all things historical, especially studying the history of Cheshire. She leaves two sons; Bruce W. Nuttall of Fort Collins, Colorado and Alan R. Nuttall and his companion Barbara Halek of Cheshire. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three brothers; Ronald, Robert and John Wells and by her sister; Barbara Wells. She was also predeceased by her nephew; Douglas Wells. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Eileen W. Nuttall, 104, of Cheshire who passed away April 16, 2017 will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Cheshire conducted by the Rev. Christopher Adorno, pastor. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 7 PM at the DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME. Memorial donations in memory of Eileen may be made to the Cheshire Fire Department or to the First Baptist Church of Cheshire both in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 445, Cheshire, MA 01225. North Adams Schools. She married Chester C. Bialas on January 3, 1948 and they lived in Cheshire for 23 years. She worked at England Brothers in Pittsfield as an auditor and later at Arnold Print Works in Adams until her retirement. They then moved to New Hampshire for 18 years before returning to Pittsfield. They loved to travel. Her

greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Barbara Garbati and her husband Robert of Wilmington, MA, David Bialas and his wife Julie of Cheshire, Diane Briggs of Cheshire, and Nancy Gregory of Lafayette, CO. She leaves seven grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Marc, Matt, Heather, Andy, and Jackie, and six great-

grandchildren, Joshua, Kassandra, Lucas, Kaitlyn, Harper and Maxwell. She was predeceased by her husband Chester who died November 21, 2014, her
