Obituary Preview: Edward A. Bartnicki, age 86, of Romulus, Michigan, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018. Edward was born June 28, 1932 in Wyandotte, Michigan. He was the son of the late Andrew Bartnicki and Bernice (Herod) Bartnicki.
Edward enjoyed riding bicycles, golfing, woodworking, fishing, traveling and he was an avid reader. He retired from Kelsey-Hayes Wheels in 1995, after 30 years of service as an Experimental Tool & Die Maker.
To cherish his memory he leaves three daughters; Marsha (Charles) Miller, Bernice (Tom) Daly and Susanne O’Boyle, one son; Gerald (Michelle) Weidemann, one daughter in law; Carol Weidemann, eight grandchildren twelve great grandchildren, and many many nieces and nephews.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents; Andrew and Bernice Bartnick, his beloved wife; Barbara Bartnicki, one son; Craig Weidemann, six brothers; Stanley, Frank, Peter, Alex, Paul and John, and three sisters; Helen Ryzewicz, Frances Hinsman and Mary Kuzava.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Crane Funeral Home, 36885 Goddard Rd. Romulus, Michigan 48174, (734) 941-9200. The funeral service will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Church in New Boston, on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00am, with Rev. John Schwartz officiating.
