He was born October 9, 1971 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of Gene (Joan) Wilburn of White Bluff, Tennessee and the late Linda Conley Hardin. Also surviving are his three children, Corey (Andrea) Willburn of Lucasville, Ohio, Shyann (Jared) Hoover of Beaver, Ohio, and Kayla Wilburn of Clarktown, Ohio, five grandchildren, two brothers, Barry Wilburn of Columbus, Ohio and Mike (Vicki) Wilburn of Antioch, Tennessee, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Wilburn.
Kevin was a welder and iron worker.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday April 19, 2022 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with William Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Germany Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.

She was born August 14, 1926, in Waverly, OH, to the late Lloyd Ellis Johnson and Lucy Jane Claytor Johnson. On Feb. 11, 1942 she married James Ernest “Runt” Minor who passed Nov. 3, 2006.
Surviving are her children, James (Janet) Minor of Waverly, OH, Gary Minor of Waverly, OH, Lonnie (Susan) Minor of Tehachapi, CA, Connie Downing of Waverly, OH and Randy (Jeanne) Minor of Waverly, OH.  She also leaves 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Among her many relatives and friends, she also leaves her friends at the Bethel Ridge Baptist Church where she was a member.
Mary is Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and son-in-law Barry Scott Downing.  She was also preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Lawson and Patricia Poling and brothers, Paul Johnson, Harry Johnson, Gerald Johnson, and Gene Johnson.
There will be a celebration of life for Mary at a later date.

She was born September 4, 1970 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late George Peters and Betty Crider Peters. She was united in marriage September 10, 2013 to her husband, Douglas E. Goodwin, who survives. Also surviving are her children, T.J. (Ashley) Baker of Waverly, Ohio and Kaylee (Michael) Cheesman of Waverly, Ohio, her grandchildren, Kylie Lennox and Adilee Baker and one grandchild, Baby Poppy, who is on the way, three sisters, Janice (Everett) Neal of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Fonda (Glenn) Marcinko of Waverly, Ohio, and Lavinia (Doug Cook) Peters of Beaver, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Evi loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an ordained minister and was very proud to have the pleasure of marrying both her son and her daughter. She was formerly employed as a Correctional Officer at the Chillicothe Correctional Facility and was the first female officer to have a permanent position on death row. She was also a member of numerous other teams at the facility as well. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and shopping. Evi was loved by many.
Memorial services will be 12:00 P.M. Sunday March 27, 2022 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Mike Gifford officiating. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home.

Nakilia always had an infectious smile and laugh. She loved life despite all the trials and tribulations that she had to go through in her short time on this earth. She always overcame any obstacles that was thrown at her with her head held high. Although her life was cut short, she lived her life to the fullest. She has left an impact on so many peoples live’s and will never be forgotten.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m.  Sunday March 13, 2022, at Eastern High School in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Ed Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery on Johnson Rd. in Jackson, Ohio. The Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Sunday at Eastern High School. There will be a dinner to follow at the Scioto Township Volunteer Fire Department in Jackson, Oh. Ken was a Control Systems Leader at Owens Corning Fiberglass Research Center. He previously worked at Hoeschst Fibers in Spartanburg, SC, Bowater Paper in Rock Hill, SC and Mead Paper in Chillicothe, Ohio.
Ken loved watching sports, attending high school basketball tournaments, his farm in Utica, and spending time with family. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Jo Rapp (Brooks). He is survived by his daughter Sherry Culp (Tim) of Prospect, KY, three sons Michael Rapp (Sarah) of Naples, FL, Brian Rapp (Nancy) of Granville, OH and Chris Rapp (Jim) of Rockbridge, OH; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A visitation for Kenneth Lee Rapp, age 83, of Granville, will be held from 5-8 on Monday, March 7th, 2022, at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street in Newark.

Obituary Preview: Minnie Opal Lowe Ramey, 84, of Beaver was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on March 1, 2022 at Ohio State University surrounded by her loving family. Minnie was born at the family home in Beaver, Ohio, on November 12, 1937. She was preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Minnie Lowe, brother, Jesse Lowe, sister, Mary Esther Lowe Hickman, by her first husband, James Johnson and her second husband, Lesta Ramey. Minnie leaves to cherish her memory daughters Melanie (Cliff) White and Elaine (Michael) Rinehart, grand-daughters Mindy and Kendra Rinehart and Makaela (Clint) Bapst. Great grandchildren Braxton, Kohen and Nora Dreitzler. She is survived by nieces and nephew: David, Cathy (John), Cindy (Bob) and Lynn (Gary). She also leaves behind a very dear friend and a very special doctor, Dr. Moni Stein.
Minnie graduated from Beaver High School in 1955. She attended Paramount Beauty Academy where she became a licensed beautician and owned and operated Johnson Beauty Salon at her place of residence. She was also a dedicated employee at Pike Water after retirement at her beauty salon. She also enjoyed volunteering her time at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home. Minnie served as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Beaver High School Alumni for many years. Minnie was known for her cooking and baking. Her homemade bread, cookies and candy were out of this world. She sure could fix a delicious meal that would have you going back for seconds and third helpings. Her favorite past time was mowing her grass on her John Deere lawnmower. She would cut her grass two to three times a week and maybe twice in one day. She loved cutting grass so much she thought about getting a job for the state cutting grass. Another hobby of hers was keeping a journal of her granddaughter Makaela who she often called “doodle bug.” Makaela was holding her hand as she took her final breath. Their bond was very special to her. Minnie attended Beaver Emmanuel Church where she sang in the choir.
Friends may call at Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m with the funeral on Saturday March 5, 2022 at 11:00 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home with Pastors Chris Clark and Herman Stewart officiating. Surviving is his wife of 50 years, Angela (Taylor) Wheeler, who he married March 14, 1971, one son, Pat (Michelle) Wheeler of Beaver, Ohio, his grandchildren, Wyatt (Jenny) Wheeler, Payton Wheeler and Bryton Wheeler, all of Beaver, Ohio, Kristen (Devin) Zavatsky of Waverly, Ohio, three great-grandchildren, Liam, Sayloor and Carter Lee of Beaver, Ohio, two sisters, Ardith (James) Henry of Waverly, Ohio and Kathy (Kenny) Bobst of Beaver, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Donald Wheeler.
Gary graduated from Eastern High School in 1965. He went on to pursue his education at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in education. He was employed at the Eastern Local School district for 30 years. He retired in 2000 from teaching. Gary enjoyed gardening, going to auctions with his son and his special friend Jerry, spending time with family and friends talking about the old days on the front porch, helping his wife and his sister with their wood crafts, but above all, he loved playing with Liam, Sayloor, and meeting Carter Lee and his weekly outings with his grandson, Wyatt. Gary was a member of Mary Chapel Church in Waverly, Ohio.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday February 15, 2022 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Bro. Arvil Murray Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. He was born April 17, 1944, in Lucasville, Ohio to the late Sim and Grace Alley.  On March 20, 1962, he married Linda “Cookie” Alley who survives.
Also surviving are his sons, Terry (Cathy) Alley of Beaver, Dustten (Tyleah) Alley of Chillicothe, grandchildren, Tiara (Daniel) Silcott of Loris, South Carolina, TJ Alley of Beaver, Tanner (Kayla) Alley of Loris, South Carolina, step-grandchildren, Jordan Riffitt of Springfield, and Alexandria (Steven) Castle of Jackson, great-grandchildren, Lukas Silcott, Laylah and Landon Alley, Willow Alley and step-great-grandchildren Ember Castle and Odessa Yarbrough.  His grandchildren were very special to him, and he loved them very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant son, Thomas Alley, his brothers William “Sprad”, Roger, Ben and Steve Alley and a sister, Barb Holsinger.
Bob was a devoted Christian and a Preacher of God’s word.  He attended Stockdale Baptist Church, Givens Freewill Baptist Church and Pleasant Valley Community Church.  He was a brick mason for over 40 years and a member of Local 55 in Columbus, Ohio.  He was much loved and will be greatly missed by his family and all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Calling hours will be Monday, January 31, 2022, from noon until 2pm at Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver.  A small funeral service and burial will follow at the Beaver Union Cemetery.  The family has requested all attendees to wear masks during the services.

Also surviving are two children, Brett (Bobbie) Hines of Waverly, Ohio and Scott (Christina) Martin of Waverly, Ohio and five grandchildren, Jade (Rob) Martin-Willis of Keene, New Hampshire, Tyler Martin of Grundy, Virginia, Brenon (Anna) Hines of Waverly, Ohio, Wyatt Hines of Waverly, Ohio, and Levi Hines of Beaver, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bruce “Gig” Hines.
Mary attended the Beaver Faith United Methodist Church in Beaver, Ohio when her health allowed. Throughout her life, she was employed as a cosmetologist with over 40 years of service at various salons, eventually retiring while working at Trend Setters in Waverly, Ohio. Mary was a loving and caring person who adored her family and cherished her grandchildren. She was warmhearted and kind, and never knew a stranger nor had a negative word to speak of anyone. She will be greatly missed by many.
A funeral church service will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday January 27, 2022 at the Beaver Faith United Methodist Church in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Brian Hedden officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Cox Burkitt Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Surviving are her children, Rita Pullman of Columbus, Ohio, Harold (Barbara) Pullman of Jackson, Ohio, Darrell (Cathy) Pullman of Jackson, Ohio, and Larry Pullman of Delaware, Ohio, numerous grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday January 24, 2022 in the Beaver Union Cemetery with Chaplain Jason Coriell officiating. Burial will follow at the conclusion of services. Cox Burkitt Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Debby Alexander, and an infant daughter.
Trudy enjoyed spending time outside tending to her yard, going to yard sales, and playing Bingo. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Trudy attended church at Givens Chapel.

Rick was an avid fisherman, gun collector and jokester who spent most of his career in the transportation field. He was always the life of the party and could make anyone laugh. He never met a stranger, and was loved by anyone he ever met.
Although gone from our sight he will always remain in our hearts. He will always be missed.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Brad Bauer.
Betty grew up in the Beaver Community and later moved to Columbus after getting married. She was a 1952 graduate of Beaver High School, attended OSU School of Nursing, and received her RN certificate from the Portsmouth General Hospital. As a young adult, she was employed as a nurse at various places and then later chose to stay home to raise her children and care for her family. After her husband died in 2014, she lived with her daughter Paula and her family and was surrounded by love and five grandchildren of whom she helped raise.
Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Wednesday December 8, 2021 at the Beaver Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Chris Clark officiating.
