He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, as nothing made him happier than to be with family. In his younger years Joe enjoyed camping with his family as well as visiting family and friends. He also had a love for animals especially his dogs.

Joseph has joined the love of his life, Gail, in Heaven. He is survived by his son, Joseph "Joey" III (Leah) Flynn of Mobile, AL; daughter Keri Ann (Michael) Cooper of Mongaup Valley, NY; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his long-time best friend and brother from another mother Larry Pugliese (Pam).

He was born September 26, 1963 in Monticello New York to the late Paul and Frances Borko. He graduated from Fallsburg High School in 1982.

Eric was a life-long Sullivan County resident, a devoted family man and overall an amazing person. He enjoyed spending time with his girls, being in his garage (or Larry's), camping, boating, and anything Mopar.

She was the daughter of the late William and Roma Soracco Sutherland, born on May 27, 1954 in Liberty, NY.

Maria was a proud graduate of Liberty High School and attended Catholic School at St. Peter's. She worked as the Vice President of Fleet Bank until her retirement; she then went on to work as a supervisor for Kohls Distribution Center. In her younger years, Maria enjoyed being active, and could often be found roller skating or water skiing. In her free time she enjoyed the outdoors, she loved her garden among the flowers, walking along the beach but especially being at the family camp on the Delaware River in Callicoon which was truly her happy place. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking and could often be found relaxing watching Good Morning America, her cooking shows or a soap opera. But above all else she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She leaves behind her children Eugene Ackerley Jr. (Rebecca), Lindsay Garvey and her husband Luke and Meghan Ackerley (Kelvin); her grandchildren Logan, Lexi and Lyla Garvey, Kali Early and Cora Ackerley; her siblings Margaret "Peggy" Morgans and her husband Lynn, William "Bill" Sutherland, Jr. and his wife Mary, and Jon Sutherland and his wife Justine; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Maria now joins in Heaven her husband Eugene Ackerley, Sr. who passed away in 2013.

Obituary Preview: With profound sadness we announce the passing of Alexandra Krawec, our loving and devoted, mother, wife, grandmother and friend to many.

She left us peacefully surrounded by family at her Mountaindale residence after a long illness on October 17 , 2019. She was 79.

Born in Lutsk, Volyn province Ukraine on January 25, 1940 to Ananij and Nadia Falatiuk, she arrived into the world during a time of conflict, and despair in Europe during WWII. Surviving the end of the war, and spending time in a displaced persons camp in Germany, she and her family immigrated to the United States in 1951, settling in Brooklyn New York, where she was active in the Ukrainian youth organizations and sports community.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years Eugene J. Krawec, sons Eugene S. Krawec of Edmonton Canada, his daughter Nina of Irvine California , Victor Krawec, his wife Romana, their children Olena and Toma of New Jersey, Sister Luba Eubanks, her husband Norman of South Carolina and faithful in-laws Dr. George and Nadia Kihiczak of New Jersey.

Alexandra lived a full life as a loving mother, grandmother, an amazing cook, who also exhibited a passion for plants, flowers and animals. Most of all, she loved spending quality time with her family and many close family friends. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 10:00am-12:00pm. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Luna Organization Cemetery.

Obituary Preview: Dr. John R Muccia departed this world peacefully in the arms of his loving wife, Petra, on October 3, 2019. His faith was unwavering and he spoke often of the eternal reward that awaited him after this life.

Born on Manhattan in 1941 to parents Michael and Helen Muccia (predeceased), John enjoyed his childhood alongside his brother, Michael (predeceased), and his large and loving Italian family. Throughout his life he maintained strong friendships with his classmates from Good Shepard Elementary School and Xavier High School. He attended Manhattan College and then the University of Bologna, Italy, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. John was completely devoted to his patients during his 35 years of practice in cardiology and internal medicine. He was a lifelong student who loved sharing his knowledge with others. After retiring he challenged himself by taking classes and continuing to study many foreign languages. During his retirement, he delighted in the fellowship of his Knights of Columbus

brothers, time with his dearest cousins, closest friends and colleagues. He treasured the company of his beloved wife Petra, his mother in law “Oma” (predeceased), son Michael, daughter Monica, son in law Neil, and his grandsons Jacob and John.

His sense of humor, kind heart, generosity and gentle, loving nature will be missed and never forgotten. Our hearts are sorrow filled, but we are grateful for the love he provided and are comforted to know that he found what he desired most in life: a family, true friends, a profession to which he felt called, and a deep faith.

The calling hours are on Monday, October 7, 2019, from 2 – 4 pm and 7-9 pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, New York 12788. Mass of Christian burial will be officiated by Father Edward Bader on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 11:45 am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Liberty, New York. John’s final resting place will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs, New York.

After a rewarding career with Procter & Gamble, Richard enjoyed playing tennis and driving scenic country roads in his convertible with his wife. Happiest at home, he took pleasure cultivating the landscape of his backyard sanctuary and nurturing his Koi pond.

Richard is remembered by Annette Korcak, his wife of 35 years who he affectionately referred to as the love-of-his-life, his three loving daughters Linda and her husband John Miller of Knotts Island, NC, Anita and her husband Michael Hayes of Westport, CT, and Nora and her husband Donald Dorste of Napanoch, NY, as well as three step-sons Gil, Richard, and Dean Avery of Tucson, AZ, and four grandchildren Tyler and Shawn McNamara, Cody Dorste and Maeson Hayes.

A private memorial service will be held overlooking his beloved Koi Pond.
