Ezelita Caetano Rocha - February 02, 1955 - February 25, 2022

Departed: 02/25/2022 (Marlborough)
Obituary Preview: Ezelita “Grace” Caetano Rocha
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ezelita Rocha. Better known as “Graça”, or Grace, Ezelita was a loving mother, grandmother, and loyal friend. Above all, she was a devout Christian who never faltered from her faith, making her purpose in life to serve God and glorify his name.
On the afternoon of February 23rd, 2022, Grace was involved in an unexplainable accident involving a motor vehicle, resulting in her passing. An event which forever changed the lives of all family members and loved ones, and the many people she touched during her time here. She will be forever remembered as the mother to many, loyal friend who was always willing to help even when she needed help the most, and a defined servant of God. Through reason, we cannot understand why her time was cut so short, but by faith we accept that this was God’s will.
Ezelita Caetano Rocha, 67, died Friday February 25, 2022 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center. She was born, raised and educated in São Mateus,  Espírito Santo, Brazil and was the daughter of the late Agenor Caetano and Claudina Scalfane Caetano. She leaves her son Patrick Rocha and his wife Flavia of Lawrence; her daughter Monick Caetano Dornelas and her husband Herbert of Webster; a brother Valdeci Caetano of Espírito Santo, Brazil and her sister Naldina Perreira of Webster; her grandchildren Julia Rocha and Jonathan Rocha of Lawrence, and Joseph Dornelas of Webster. She was a member of Maranatha Christian Church in Everett, MA, a place she held dear to her heart. There, she would often volunteer to watch over the children and help with the events of the church. Even when she was tired she looked forward to being present and being of help in such events as she trusted to rest was to be in God’s presence and of service to him. She often offered to give people rides to the church and wanted to leave no one behind. Grace loved to cook and enjoyed being around the kitchen, looking forward to what she would cook next, and would always make a little bit of what everyone liked, that way no one felt left out. She enjoyed going for a walk with her sister Naldina in the afternoon and after their walk they would have their afternoon coffee, every day. In the summers, Ezelita loved to spend time with her grandchildren by the pool. She enjoyed gardening and making flower arrangements. The legacy Ezelita leaves is one of love for family, hard work, honesty, determination, generosity, above all commitment to God’s word, faith, and a genuine love for others.

Edward T. Condon, Jr. - June 08, 1956 - January 17, 2022

Departed: 01/17/2022 (Marlborough)
Obituary Preview: Edward T. Condon Jr passed away on January 17 following a short illness. Born in Texas while his parents lived on a military base there, Ed was raised and spent most of his life in Marlborough, a town he loved, and where he had a long successful career in construction.
In 2006, Ed met the love of his life, Eliana. Together they built a loving home with her sons Thiago and Pablo (Elora), and now five grandchildren, Samuel, Isaac, Chloe, Leah and Daniel.  Family was the center of Ed’s universe and his greatest source of pride.
Predeceased by his father, Edward T. Condon, Ed is also survived by his mother Laurine (Turner) Condon, brothers Bruce (Kay) and Cliff (Zjef), a large extended family, and many friends who will miss him immeasurably.
While Ed served in the US Army as a young man, his warmth and charm led the people he met -- whether hitchhiking through Germany or talking to bunkmates -- to share with him the stories of their lives and local history. When he returned home to Marlborough, he said the stories that people from around the world shared with him were his greatest education.
That warmth and charm continued throughout his life. Ed was known for his quick laugh and big heart, always going out of his way to help others. His contagious smile brightened every room. One of the “good guys,” Ed is gone far too soon and will be missed by all that knew him.
