He attended school in the Forrest City School District where he played in the Mustang Band and was also a reporter on “high school happenings” which aired on KXJK Radio.
He joined Salem Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.
As a teen, he played baseball, and a member of the swim team and the 4-H Club. After high school he attended East Arkansas Community College (EACC) and it was during this time that Eric’s health began to decline and continued until his death.
He leaves to cherish fond memories, His mother, Mrs. Vivian Ryan of the home, a son, Dario of Dallas, TX, three brothers, Arnold of Forrest City, Alaxie of Dallas, TX, Oran of Atlanta, GA and many other relatives and friends.
