She loved home decor and spent many years as a sales associate at Rabaut's Interiors in Grosse Pointe. She also worked at General Motors were she met Donald, her husband of 44 years. She had fantastic taste and loved to decorate and was willing to help friends and families add the finishing touches to their homes. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Louis Parish, 24415 Crocker Blvd., Clinton Twp., MI 48036 on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 11:00am. Obituary Preview: Matthew John Kniespeck, age 87, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at his home in Sterling Heights. He was born on February 22, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Mathew Kniespeck and the late Hedwig (nee: Biernck) Kniespeck.
Matt grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Trade School where he learned the ins and out of being an electrical technician. Matt went on to work at DTE Energy for 37 years as a Relay Technician and a Field Representative.
Matt met Lynn in 1988 at a golf course. The couple finally married in 2013 and has lived in wedded bliss since. He enjoyed golfing, especially up north. If you asked him about any course, he would know about it. He loved to golf with Lynn as well as in groups and with friends.
Matt also liked to travel and taking cruises to the Carribean. He enjoyed going on his Vegas trips. Matthew was a card shark. He loved to play Bridge, Euchre and Pinochle. He also liked to eat out.
He was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Matt will be missed by all who knew him.
Matthew was the loving husband of Lynn Allen. Beloved father of Dee, Bruce, the late Roddy, and the late Kent. Dear brother of Marlene Rodriguez, the late Marie (Kniespeck), the late Michael, and the late Martin. Also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Obituary Preview: Diana L. Sgrazzutti passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the age of 74. She was born on January 15, 1945 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan to William Koerber and Ida Mae Koerber Massnick. She was the only girl amongst 7 brothers and received the nick name “Snow White” by the Detroit News when they ran an article about her family. Snow met her Prince Charming, James Sgrazzutti and they married in 1966. Together they raised their two children, Kimberly and Timothy and became actively involved at St. Blase Catholic Church. Prior to her marriage, Diana graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from St. Joe’s in Mt. Clemens. Her career proved to serve her outside of work as well. She was well known for her organizational skills and record keeping skills critical for being a nurse. She was the family’s record keeper and historian. She also used those skills to teach Catechism at St. Blase. In addition to her career, raising a family, and volunteering for the church, Diana enjoyed needle point, knitting, and gardening. Her family knew her to be the ultimate caregiver and fighter. Diana bravely fought and beat breast cancer 20 years ago and as a way to help others she actively participated with Relay For Life to Help raise funds and awareness so that one day others won’t have to endure the disease. In addition to her husband James, Daughter Kimberly (Randall) Tanascu, and Son, Timothy (Michelle); Diana was survived by her grandchildren, Matthew, Patrick, Robert, Nicholas, James, Anthony, Tiffany, and Lea; her brothers, Robert, Ralph (Mary Lou), and Randall (Donna); sister-in-law, Betsy, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Koerber and Ida Mae Koerber Massnick and her brothers, Roger, Richard, Ross, and Raymond.
