Norma is preceded in death by her Father, Rogelio Patiño Sr, mother, Teresa Patiño, sister, Velma Patiño, brother, Juan Jose Patiño and brother, Rogelio Patiño Jr. Norma is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Jesus Javier González Sr, Daughter, Melissa and husband, David Mares. Son, Jesús J. González Jr and wife, Jocelyn. Grandchildren, Evelyn and Emryn Mares and Jaelyn and Jesse Gonzalez. Sister, Gema Hernández of San Angelo, Tx. Sister Frances and husband, Jose Martínez of Amarillo, Tx. Sister, Teresa and husband Jose Loera of Elkhart, Indiana. Brother, Melchor Patiño of Del Rio, Tx and Brother, Jose Angel Patiño of Del Rio, Tx. Including numerous nieces and nephews whom she cherished.

Elda vivió la esencia de la vida, la risa y el amor incondicional para todos los afortunados de ser parte de su familia y círculo de amigos. Su naturaleza amable y desinteresada, junto con su corazón generosamente entregado, la convirtieron en un faro de calidez y compasión. Elda tenía una pasión inquebrantable por ayudar a los demás dejando una huella eterna en la vida de todos aquellos que la conocieron.
