We watched her suffer, day by day; It caused us bitter grief; To see her slowly pine away; And could not give relief. Her weary hours and days of pain; Her troubled nights are past; And in our aching hearts we know; She has found sweet rest at last. 'Tis sweet to know we will meet again; Where parting is no more; And my dear wife I loved so well; Has only gone before. God knows how much I miss her.  He counts the tears I shed; And whispers, "Hush, she only sleeps; Your wife is not dead." Someday, some time, my years shall see; the face I loved so well. Someday, some time, her hand I'll clasp; And never say farewell. My love always, Allen

If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss , Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much ; Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your head and share with me; God wanted me now.  He set me FREE!
