Mrs. Rhodes is survived by her daughter- Sandra (Donald) Hawkins of Wingo, KY; son- Rick (Gail) Rhodes of Farmington, KY; four grandchildren- Brad Hawkins of Pembroke, KY, Chad (Jonelle) Hawkins of Russell Springs, KY, Kayla (Matt) Ruby of Charlotte, NC, and Mark (Julia) Rhodes of Murray, KY; 2 great-grandchildren- Gabriella Hawkins and Zhanelle Hawkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband- Tom Rhodes; brother- Alden Adams; parents- James Elmer & Louella Mullins Adams.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo, KY with Bro. Miles Mayo officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 AM on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo, KY.

Obituary Preview: Marcie Kimbel, age 76, of Wingo, KY passed away at 10:57a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at her residence. She was a member of Wingo Baptist Church and a retired RN from Baptist Health Paducah.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather (Brent) Farmer of Clinton, KY and son, Tracy (Lorri) Fagan of Wingo, KY. She is also survived by her children by heart Keith and Deena Green and Jen Ellegood. Surviving are her grandchildren: Hunter Carr, Isabell Farmer, Montana Farmer, Dakota Farmer, Madison (Dawson) Fowler, Maci Green, Evan Green, Eily Green, Mariah (Brett) Burkeen, Kristopher Ellegood, Lakien Ellegood, Kelsey (Colin) Doty, Logan (Tierra) Roberts, Zachary Fagan, Abby Fagan, Carlie Fagan, Austin Fagan, Kaideon Fagan, Keyden Fagan, Ethan Fagan, Levi Fagan, Tiara Arant, Danaria Fagan, Elijah Fagan, and Ava Fagan. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Marcie is also survived by dear friends and sisters by heart, Sherry Perkins and Malinda Mays.
Marcie was preceded in death by her parents Johnnie Buton and Johnnie Marie Lamb Kimbel and her brother James Riley Kimbel.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Wingo, KY with Bro. Chris Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Walker’s Cemetery in Paris, TN. Pallbearers will be David Foy, Tillman Paschall, Keith Green, Frankie Crittenden, Jen Ellegood and Danni Ward. Honorary pallbearer will be Preston Byrn. Obituary Preview: Paul James Dowdy of Wingo passed away at 4:57 AM on Sunday, February 04, 2024, at his residence. Born on January 14, 1957 to James Edward and Vera Fields Dowdy in Fulton, KY. After high school, Paul completed mechanic trade school. He was a mechanic and Service Manager at Castleman Tire & Repair for over 30 years. He was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered as a person that brought comfort and laughter to all that knew him. Paul was 67 years old.
Those left to cherish Paul's memory are his five children, Trisha Renee of Lexington, Heather Newton (Dustin Spresser) of Paducah, P.J. Dowdy of Mayfield, Courtney Danielle (Josh Robinson) of Mayfield, and Allison Garber (Samuel) of Wingo; four granddaughters; eight grandsons; two great-grandsons; and two sisters, Marjorie Overstreet (Mark) and Edna Melton, both of Wingo. Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his aunt, LaDone Hill.
Funeral services for Paul James Dowd will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 06, 2024 at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo. Rev. Chad Lamb will officiate the services and burial will follow at the Holifield Cemetery in Wingo. Friends are invited to call from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour on Tuesday at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo.
Pallbearers will be P.J. Dowdy, Keaton Bernardo, Preston Dowdy, Aeden Harris, Josh Robinson, Dustin Spresser, Alex Harris, and Michael Chambers.

Obituary Preview: Margaret Ann Gilbert, 80, of Cuba, Kentucky, passed away on January 3, 2024, at Cedar Ridge Health Campus in Cynthiana, Ky.
Margaret dedicated her life to nursing, retiring as a Registered Nurse of over 40 years from Pinelake Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky, after graduating from St. Luke’s School of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri in 1964. Margaret was a devoted member of the Cuba Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son David (Brandy) Crutchfield, and cherished grandsons Caden and Cohen. She leaves behind a husband David Gilbert, his son, Brian, and grandsons, Anthony and Austin. Margaret also leaves behind her brothers David (Joyce) Douthitt and Steve (Debbie) Douthitt.
Margaret was predeceased by her son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Tracy Crutchfield, and her parents, Louis and Reba Douthitt.
In honor of Margaret’s wishes, her body will be bequeathed to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. A celebration of life will be held at Cuba Church of Christ, Monday, January 15 at 12:00 PM, friends may call after 11:00 AM on Monday, January 15, 2024 at the Cuba Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son - James "Mark" Majors of Wingo, KY, daughter - Cathey (Majors) Seaton of Hickory, KY, daughter - Amy (Majors) Cavitt, of Wingo, KY, a sister - JoAnn Ritchie of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA and five grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her husband - James F. Majors, her parents - William Claude Luther & Eunice Grahm Boyd, and a special aunt - Ruby Luther Holland.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest Howard; parents; children, Deliah Howard and Randall Howard.
Funeral services for Evelyn Howard Clark will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo with burial to follow at the Calvary Community Cemetery. Rev. Charles Southerland and Rev. Eric Burress will officiate the services.

Dowdy, Danielle Rogers, Allison Garber, Victoria Chambers, and Lara Henson; twenty great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren with one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Vera Dowdy; parents; one brother; and three sisters.
Funeral services for Mr. James Edward Dowdy will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo with Rev. Dickie Burgess officiating.
