Funeral Services for Shirley will be conducted on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home with Pastor Don McCollough and Pastor Shawn Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Jordan’s Field of Dreams at Sunset Park Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
A Lewisburg native, Shirley was born on August 9, 1950, to the late Houston Watkins and the late Irona Shelton Watkins. She loved camping, watching birds & animals, and her coffee. Mrs. White worshiped at Hope Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS.
Survivors include her husband, Michael White of Byhalia,MS; daughters, Jan (Jeremy) Gillum of Murfreesboro, Wende (Patrick) Ellison of Lewisburg, Kendra (Matthew) Dickens of Leoma; son, Brandon (Amanda) White of Leoma; grandchildren, Savannah Shadrick, Mason Shadrick, Krista Lawson, Ashland Dickens, Makenna Dickens, Brayden White, Harrison White; brother, Junior (Betty) Watkins; and sister-in-law, Kyle Watkins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Watkins, and grandson, Jordan Curtis.

Obituary Preview: Mrs. Mary Joyce Harmond Allison, 87, longtime resident of Lewisburg, died on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Williamson Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 3rd at 3:00 pm at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.
A Marshall County native, she was born on September 25, 1934 to the late Willie Lee Harmond and the late Mamie Kate Sharp Harmond. Joyce was a retired employee of Peoples & Union Bank. She later served as a board member of the Marshall County Chapter of the American Heart Association and was a longtime member of the Republican Women of Marshall County. She loved music, dogs, flowers, antiquing, and researching genealogy. Above all, her greatest love was for her grandsons. Mrs. Allison was a devoted member of East Commerce Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Amy Allison Fox of Brentwood; and grandchildren, William Allen Fox and James Thomas Fox.

One Brother Terrance “Maurice” Crutcher (Brooke) of Lewisburg, One sister Robbie Oglesby of Collage Grove, TN.Four Nieces: Tessa Crutcher of Nashville, TN, Ciara Crutcher, Lyric Patin and Keirsdyn Crutcher all of Lewisburg, TN. One nephew: Jeffery Crutcher of Columbia, TN. Two great nieces: Bryonna Miller of Nashville, TN and Melanie Nivens of Lewisburg, TN. Eight great nephews: Kristopher Franklin, Zach Crutcher, Ezekiel Crutcher, Layne Crutcher, Zayden Jackson, Zavonte Jackson, Kessler Nivens and Kyler Patin
Rickie Crutcher departed his family and friends on August 11th, 2022, at St. Thomas west in Nashville, TN with his family by his side. Rickie graduated with high honors from Marshall Co. High school in 1983 and turned his life over to the Lord at an early age at Greater First Baptist in Lewisburg, TN. He passionately studied and enjoyed reading the scripture daily and enjoyed teaching and talking of the scripture to his family and friends. Rickie was self-employed as a general contractor of Crutcher’s Mobile. Rickie was a man of nature who enjoyed fishing, cooking, wrestling, and spending time with his family and friends.
Rickie has donated to the St. Jude for children since early 2000. And in his latest accomplishment Has proudly founded the Willy J Mitchell Foundation for the children of Marshall County, TN.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, August 15th at 1 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service from 12 PM until 1 PM.

He was born on September 5, 1992, to George and Jennifer Adams, who preceded him in death. He was raised by his grandmother, who he called “Granny”. Austin was a blessing in life. She says he saved her more times than she saved him. His laugh was infectious, and his heart was bigger than his body. The world will never know the true hero it has lost. He served his country in the United States Army, and received the Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service while serving in the intelligence company. His dedication to duty and selfless service are in keeping with the finest tradition of military service. Austin was an avid gamer and loved hiking.
Austin leaves his son, Maverick Adams, who he adored. His Granny Adams; aunts, Shelia Linley and Stacy Harris; uncle, Toby (Kim) Adams, Troy Adams; special cousin, Jarika Ford; and “Granddaddy”, Dwayne Locke.

A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at 1:00 PM CST at Lone Oak Cemetery with Reverend Steve Thomas. Active pallbearers include Terry Haislip, Bryan Vernon, Jake Vernon, Greg Scott, Rodney Haislip, Jason Haislip
A Marshall County native, Joyce was the daughter of the late Gladys Marie Shaw Harrison and the late Joe Melvin Hastings. She was a very caring and giving woman. Joyce made everyone she met feel like family and would do anything in the world for them. She would light up every room she walked in! Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren. Her favorite past times were being with family and watching college football, specifically the Georgia Bulldogs! She loved wearing Red and Black and cheering on the DAWGS every Saturday.
Survivors include her brother, Terry Haislip; daughter: Tonya Vernon, husband Bryan Vernon and their children Callie and Jefferson “Jake”; and son, Gregory Scott. Joyce is also survived by her stepchildren, Mary Lou Walls (Tom), Barry Frazee, Karen Myers, five step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.

Obituary Preview: Waydean T. Haislip was born on March 11, 1959 in Lewisburg, TN. She accepted the Lord at an early age and was baptized at Greater First Baptist Church. Upon relocating to Maryland, she moved her membership to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. After returning to Lewisburg, she united with the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church congregation. She departed her earthly home on a journey to her heavenly home on August 7, 2022.
Waydean was a tender, caring, and kind-hearted person, who never met a stranger. After graduating from Marshall County High School in 1977, she was briefly employed by Teledyne before beginning a 30-year career at FedEx in Washington, DC.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Frank and Lucille Turner; brother, Reverend William “Bud” Turner; and nephew, James Quentin Turner.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories a devoted husband, Roy “Bam” Haislip of Lewisburg; mother-in-law, Mary G. Harris of Lewisburg; sisters-in-law, Tamekia Harris and Carmelia (Todd) McLean both of Lewisburg; step-daughter, Dorian Haislip of Lewisburg; brothers, James Gary Turner and Gary Ricardo Turner both of Nashville; sister, Dorothy Anne Monette of Nashville; children, Carlos McFall of Nashville, Jordan Talley and Mijan Talley both of Germantown, MD; grandchildren, Gino Kennedy, Aarion Kennedy, Arielle Talley all of Germantown, MD, Carl McFall of Nashville; nephews, Garry Turner and Terrance M. Blair both of Nashville; niece, Tanya Blair (James) Bledsoe of Nashville; great-niece, Breanna Bledsoe of Nashville; great-nephews, Joshua Blair and Terrance Blair of Nashville; three life-long friends/sisters, Jackie Frye of Nashville, Renea Freeman of Lewisburg, Rhonda (Ray) Bodie of Nashville; and one exceptional aunt, Mamie Mayes of Lewisburg.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, August 13th at 12:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home with Pastor David McConnell officiating. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery in Cornersville. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, August 11th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers include Edwin Lane, Terry Haislip, Cedrick Allen, Larry Jones, Conar McGuire, and Da Michael McLean. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda (Billy) Hasting; grandchildren, Belinda Sharp and Grey McConnell; great grandchildren, Alyssa Sharp, Tiffanie McCafferty and Tilly Olszowka; great great grandchild, Bryson Fields; several nieces and nephews and special care givers, Carol Gardner and Kay Hopper.

Lino was a hard-working man; if something needed to be done, he would do it. He was a graduate of TCAT-Shelbyville, where he received his certification in Industrial Maintenance. Lino was an employee of MI Metals, Inc. He enjoyed singing and traveling. Mr. Alvarez was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Born in Georgia, Ruth was born on January 11, 1941, to the late Mark H. Jones and the late Lela Foster Jones. She enjoyed baking, reading, and gardening. Mrs. Ruth was a wonderful wife, mother grandmother and was always caring for other people. She was very giving and never expected anything in return. Mrs. Ruth was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her sons, Hugh (Brenda) Sandifer and Regan (Marie) Sandifer; brothers, Robert (Brenda) Jones and Kenneth (Brenda) Jones; sister Jo Jones and grandchildren, Lewis Clay Sandifer and Jonathan C. Sandifer.

Born February 11, 1937, in San Antonio, TX, he was the son of the late Charles C. Bless and Edna Bush. He served his country in the Airforce.

Born July 28, 1944, in Mobile, AL, he was the son of the late Reuben W. Jones and Clara Broom Jones. He graduated from Deshler High School in Tuscumbia, AL and then went on the attended The University of Alabama System. He was a huge Alabama football fan. He enjoyed talking about the football team, Bear Bryant, and Nick Saban. Mr. Jones was an avid reader, playing cards especially Rook and Bridge, enjoyed working on his bonsai plants and playing pool. He retired from the TVA after 30 years of service in Huntsville, AL. Mr. Jones was married to his wife Betty for 21 years.
Survivors include wife, Betty Ann Richardson Jones; daughters, Rebecca Southard and Daphne Maples; son, Ben W. Jones; stepson, Jeff Lyons; sisters, Mary Jones and Ruth Jones; brother, David (Donna) Jones; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Born March 2, 1949, in Lewisburg, TN, he was the son of the late Christine Crutcher. Charles enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and riding around town. He was known to be very laid back.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Crutcher; son, Shannon (Tracy) Crutcher; daughter, Salica (BC) Cannon; brothers, Jack (Kim) Crutcher and Jimmy Lee (Sis) Crutcher; sisters, Betty Long and Fay (Charles) Bowers and grandchildren, Tre’ Crutcher, Dionna Crutcher, Traison Crutcher, Bre’Aria Cannon, Bra’Sharion Cannon; step-children, Patrick Summers, Dale Summers, Millie Summers RIco Summers; and a host of grandchildren.

She worked at Ken Koat where she met her husband of 28 years and made many lifelong friends. At Tuscarora/Nichirin she especially loved her time as a forklift operator. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching Supernatural & Charmed, hanging out at her daughter’s store Marshall Trading Company, and spending time with family. She participated in church ministry at Marshall County Jail and volunteered at the Pregnancy Resource Center as a counselor or helping out in the baby boutique. She loved helping others, secretly paying for a soldier’s meal, and sending TikTok’s to absolutely everyone!

She was a member of TN Society of Colonial Danes – 17th Century, Daughters of American Revolution, and United Daughters of the Confederacy. Mrs. Martha was also an avid supporter of local Civil War history and education where she organized and helped in Civil War Reenactments. Mrs. Martha also cofounded the Farmington Battlefield Confederate Cemetery Association. She was co-owner with her husband with Watt Roofing. She will be dearly missed by her family.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Watt of Lewisburg, TN; son, Chris “LeighAnn” Watt of Lewisburg; daughter, Laura (Joe) Bailey of Camden Point, MO; brothers, Eddie (Pat) Reynolds of Smyrna, TN, and Fred (Linda) Reynolds of Franklin, TN and grandson, Dylan Watt of Lewisburg, TN.
