James H. Volk - July 29, 1926 - April 02, 2022

Obituary Preview: James Henry Volk passed away at the age of 95 years on Saturday, April 2,2022.
He was born on July 29,1926 to Howard and Ernestine (Metzger) Volk in Bucyrus, Ohio.
James graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1944 and soon after entered the United States Navy. He was in the Pacific theater, in Japan during the end of WWII.
In the Navy, he was a machinist and also trained in refrigeration. After WWII, James graduated from the Industrial Training Institute of Chicago in 1947 and became an electrician.
He returned to Ohio and married Jeannette Witcher on October 30,1948. Together with Jeannette, James ran Volk Electric in Bellevue, Ohio. James also worked at farming and raising Charolais beef cattle.
During retirement (?!), James and Jeannette built their second home in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
James was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1238 in Bellevue and the American Legion in Sandusky.
Mr. Volk enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and German Shepherds: Sally I, Sally II and Sally III.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannett, their baby girl, his sister, Dorothy; brother, Frederick and parents.
Survivors are his son, Michael (Melanie) Volk from Bellevue, along with grandchildren, Chad (Joe) Volk of Raleigh, North Carolina; Zac (Shelby) Volk of Bellevue and Gretchen Volk (Brian Warner) of Sandusky. He has eight great-grandchildren, River Volk, Opal Volk, Timber Volk, Daisy Volk, Estella Edwards, Silas Edwards, Ledon Warner and Zoey Warner. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews in Bucyrus, Maryland and Oklahoma.
A memorial service will be held on a date to be announced at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.

Obituary Preview: Evelyn Mae (Moyer) Pocock Coup, 92, formerly of Bellevue, died at the home of her daughter in Toledo, on Wednesday, March 30,2022.
Evelyn was born in Bellevue on May 2,1929 to the now deceased Emma (Shaffer) and Ward Ray Moyer.
She graduated from the former York High School in 1947.
For 22 years, Mrs. Coup was a school bus driver for Bellevue City Schools, retiring in July 1991.
Mrs. Coup was a long- time member of the Fremont Baptist Temple. Formerly, she was a member of the Clyde Rosettes Grandmothers Club.
On March 23,1950, she married Rollin Pocock. He preceded her in death on November 25,1965. On October 1, 1972, Mrs. Pocock married Emerson Coup, he preceded her in death on November 5, 1989. Two daughter, Linda Ann Pocock Napier and infant Lauran Ann Pocock, along with a grandson, Bradley Pocock are also deceased.
Survivors include daughter, Connie L. Scroggs of Toledo and sons, Ronald E. (Mary Jacqueline) Pocock and John M. (Tami) Pocock, all of Bellevue. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren survive as well.
Mrs. Coup was the last of her siblings. Margaret Stimson Ward, Leon Ray Moyer, Carl S. Moyer and Rober L. Moyer are all deceased.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 7,2022 from 9:30 am until the service at 11:00 am at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, Ohio. Rev. Gary Click will officiate with burial in York Chapel Cemetery.

He was a 1988 graduate of Margaretta High School. He then graduated from Owens Tech.
Kevin was working at Computer Xtreme. Prior to that he had worked at ODOT.
Survivors include his son, Christopher Moser and daughter, Madison Moser. His mother and father, Mary and David in Bellevue along with the mother of his children, Heather Moser in Oregon, Ohio. Aunts, uncles and cousins survive as well.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 9,2022 from 9:30 am until the service at 11:00 am at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, Ohio. Rev. Dr. Diane Carter will officiate, with burial in Castalia Cemetery.

He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Viet Nam War.
Curt was a member of the Bellevue Moose, Eagles VFW and American Legion.
Mr. Raymond had retired from the Ford Motor Co. in Sandusky.
He is survived by a son, William (Renea) Raymond of Newnan, Georgia, step daughter, Shelly (Donald) Height of Florida and his brother, Bruce Raymond of Bellevue.
Mr. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy M. (Bovan) and Orile Raymond, along with a brother, Brad Raymond.
Curt chose to have no services.

Georgine Koch - February 22, 1926 - March 21, 2022

Obituary Preview: Georgine Koch, 96, of Bellevue, peacefully passed on Monday, March 21, 2022 while being cared for at Providence Care Center in Sandusky.
Following high school, Georgine worked from 1942 to 1947 at the former WT Grant in Bellevue. She continued her working career at JC Penney from 1960-1987. From 1982 until her retirement, she was store manager.
On February 24,1946, she married the love of her life, Delmar Koch. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2013 after 68 years of marriage. They had enjoyed dancing, especially polkas and ball room dancing. They loved horses especially work horses and together traveled all around Ohio, to Michigan and Canada to their favorite horse shows. There they made many life long friendships.
Georgine had been an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Bellevue. She had served on the church council, taught Bible School and was a past church treasurer. Also was a member of Women of the Church, serving on the Altar Committee, along with being active in Lutheran Brotherhood Branch 8592, now known as Thrivent, being a treasurer of that branch.
In 2015 Georgine, transferred her church membership to join a new church family at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Bellevue.
Mrs. Koch was a member of the Downtown Bellevue Architectural Designs Standard Board, serving for 12 years.
She took great pride in her family and enjoyed her home inside and out. She spent hours working in the yard and in her flower beds. She loved to cook and bake always trying new recipes. Pie baking was her specialty having won awards several years in a row at the Bellevue Cherry Festival. Playing Euchre at the Senior Center was a highlight of her day.
Survivors include their two children, Garry (Jan) Koch of Columbus and Barbara (Daniel) Pavlik of Port Clinton. Three granddaughters, whom Georgine adored and doted upon, Danielle, Tiffany and Leslie. Six great grandchildren, Bradley, Brock, Blakely, Mia, Julian and Zachery, survive as well.
Her sisters, Estella Vogt, Helen Lenhart and Laura Warner preceded her.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2,2022 from 10:30 am until the service at 11:30 am at St. Paul United Church of Christ on Kilbourne Street, Bellevue. Rev. Dr. Diane Carter will officiate. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue is assisting the Koch family.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ or Bellevue Historical Society – Tremont House or Four County Young at Heart.

Mrs. Weaver was born in Dutch Valley, Tennessee on March 19,1939 to the now deceased Rosa (Jones) and John Long.
She moved to this area in the 1950's.
On December 23, 1956, Glenna married Franklin Weaver. He preceded her in death on June 12,2007.
Glenna was a member of York Chapel Church. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles and Find A Word, as well as playing the guitar.
Survivors include five children, James (Tammy) Weaver of Bellevue; Roger (Tamara) Weaver of Green Springs; Gena (Ricky) Seeber, Janet (Allen) Dunn and John Weaver, all of Bellevue. Thirteen grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren, along with her sister, Shelby Sexton of Caryville, Tennessee also survive.
Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by two brothers, John Long, Raymond Long and sister, Dolly Mae Long.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 10,2022 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 pm at York Chapel Church. The funeral will be held at the church on Friday, March 11,2022 at 11:00 am with Paster Calvin Robinson officiating. Burial will be in York Chapel Cemetery.

Anthony was born in Jeffersville, Indiana on July 16, 1967. He attended Clyde Schools.
He was serving as the pastor at The Clyde Nazarene Church. Always a people person, he was able to touch all age groups and personalities in a positive way.
Anthony was a great collector of super hero statues.
His mother, Ramona (Hamner) Clark, of Clyde survives, along with two sisters, Janet Lawson of Fremont, Rachel Noe of Clyde and a brother, Bobby O. Clark of Clyde. Eight nieces and nephews survive as well.
His father, Billy Noe is deceased.
Private services will be held.
Memorials, if desired, may be made in care of his mother.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Robert & LeRoy.  He is survived by his brothers, Howard Reinhart of Tennessee and Ralph Reinhart of Bellevue.
Private graveside services will be held at St. Michael's Cemetery, Marywood.

Rochelle was born in Bellevue on May 14,1958 to Dorothy (Barnett) and Thurman Townsend. She was a member of the 1976 graduating class of Bellevue High School.
Mrs. Russell was a member of Faith Bible Church in Bellevue. She loved flowers so much so, that after working for Downtown Florists, she purchased the business and was the owner/operator for many years.
On August 9,1986, she married Keith A. Russell. He along with children, Kristy (Brad) Ungerer, Holly Martin, Nicholas (Beth) Martin, all of Bellevue Joshua (Karen) Russell of Castalia and Sara (Brandon) Hade of Bellevue, survive. Thirteen grandchildren, Justin, Cody, Jessalynn, Colton; Kayla, Jadin, Amaya; Benjamin, Zachary, Rebecca, Jacob, Noah, and Ella also survive. Her mother, Dorothy Townsend survives in Bellevue, along with her brother, Don Townsend and sister, Donna Clark. Rochelle's family, especially her grandchildren, were her focus and reason for life. She adored each and every one!
Preceding her in death are her father and brother, Chris Townsend.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 1,2022 from 3:00 pm - 7:00pm at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Faith Bible Church at 10:30 am with Pastor Scott Jones officiating.
Burial will be in York Chapel Cemetery.

Obituary Preview: George M. Keller, 74, of Bellevue, unexpectedly died at the Bellevue Hospital on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
George was born in Bellevue on July 30,1947 to Esther (Kramer) and Burnell Keller. His parents are now deceased.
Mr. Keller was a graduate of the Bellevue High School, Class of 1965. He began working at Ford Motor in Sandusky, then entered the United States Army, serving for three years, some of this with the Green Berets, then more time in the Army Reserves and National Guard.  He returned to Bellevue, and Ford Motor, retiring in February 2011, after 45 years of employment.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue, the Bellevue Historical Society, Division 4 of the National Model RR Association. He was an avid train, plane and auto enthusiast. He was also serving as the Lyme Township Zoning Inspector. George was a master wood craftsman, enjoying creating many items. He was a very active member of the Mad River & Nickel Plate RR Museum.
On June 10, 1967, he married Sandra Elliott. They were able to celebrate 50 years of marriage in 2017.
Sandra, along with their two children, Matt (Diane) Keller of Huron and Tiffany (Walter) McMahon of North Ridgeville survive, also two sons, Jonathan Keller and Seth Keller both of Sarasota, Florida. Five grandchildren, Jeramy Toller, Victoria Keller and Dane Keller, Alana McMahon and Trevor McMahon also survive. HIs five siblings, Mary Leininger of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; Katherine Moss of Latrobe, Pennsylvania; Joan Wise of Lawton, Oklahoma; Gene Keller of Covington, Kentucky and Jim Keller of Tiffin survive as well. A local niece, Liz Elliott survives in Columbus.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 25,2022 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, Ohio. Military rites will be at 6:00pm on Friday at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be on Saturday February 26,2022 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Kyle Gase officiating.
George's request was in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Railroad Museum or The Bellevue Historical Society or American heart Association.

Dale was born in Bellevue to the now deceased Pauline (Gottschaul) and John "Jack" Vernon Carroll on November 11, 1941. He was a member of the Bellevue Assembly,
Mr. Carroll attended the former Thompson High School and had retired from the Norfolk and Southern Railroad following 35 + years of employment. He spent most of his years in the bridge and building division.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force. On November 14,1965, he married Marion Rebecca Miller.  She preceded him in death on January 12, 2022.,
He is survived by their children, Jeffrey A. (Cynthia Link-Carroll) Carroll of Leesburg, Virginia and Allison R. Carroll of Green Springs. Three grandchildren, Amber Carroll and Alicia Carroll, both of Wesley Chapel, Florida and Jeffrey Carroll Jr. of Purcellville, Virginia, along with four great grandchildren survive.  Two special great nieces Credence and Nevaeh both of Green Springs.  Two sisters, Nancy Carroll Miller of Castalia and JoAnn Wing of Clyde also survive.
Dale was preceded in death by his siblings, Wayne Carroll, Alvin Carroll, Loren Carroll, Kathleen Carroll Walters, William (Bill) Carroll, Janet K. Carroll and Pauline Carroll Bufford.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19,2022 at 10:00 am at the Bellevue Assembly Church, Kilbourne Street in Bellevue.

She was born February 24, 1929 in Haleyville, Alabama to Henry and Blanche (Aderholt) Garrard.  LaVaughn was a member of the Bellevue Church of Christ.  She enjoyed reading her Bible and caring for her family.  In 1948, she graduated from Phillips High School in Bear Creek, Alabama.  She had worked at Faulhaber in Monroeville for 25 years.
On December 27, 1948 she married Ray Bobo.  He preceded her in death on May 26, 1995.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandy (Jim) Browne of Sandusky; daughter-in-law, Judy Bobo of Flat Rock; grandchildren: Chasta (Alfred) Wilson; Vicente Santana; Shay Santana; and Maliah Bobo; her brother, Burnis Garrard of Bellevue; great-grandchildren: Tyler, Allison, Dylan, Emily, Xzavier, Alexis, Elias, Gadsden.
In addition to her parents and her husband, LaVaughn was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Watters; her son, Nick Bobo; and her siblings: Jerome Garrard and Alene Ropchak.
Visitation will be 10:00am-Noon on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue.  Her funeral service will begin at Noon on Tuesday, with Pastor Don Spurlock officiating.  Burial will follow in York Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Winters was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on June 29,1941 to Effie (McGlone) and Henry Fodge.
She graduated from Sandusky High School in 1959.
Dorothy first worked at the Arthur Corp, then retired from bookkeeping at Winkes Boat Storage.
She was a member of the Eagles. Knitting, crocheting and doing puzzles were her favorite pastimes.
Survivors include her two children, David Winters of Monroeville and Bobbi V. Mosley (Thomas Myers) of Wakeman. Also, three grandchildren, Dustin (Kenzie); Danielle; and Devon (Samantha Williams),along with two great grandchildren survive. Her sister Helen Lather in Wauchula Florida and brother, Robert Fodge of Chillicothe are living.
Mrs. Winters was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Raymond Fodge; Violet Barnard; Julia "Judy" Barr; A. Carl Fodge; Beulah Blevins; Virginia Lockhart and Alice Kelley.
As per Dorothy's request, graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 19,2022 at 2:00pm at Bellevue City Cemetery.

She was a 1964 graduate of Bellevue High School.
Mrs.Carroll was a lifetime member of Bellevue Assembly on Kilbourne Street. She liked to bowl and go to the Bellevue Eagles, where she was a member. Visiting Amish country was a favorite past time also. However, Marion was a connoisseur of places to go for dinner! She loved to eat out.
On November 14,1965, she married Dale J. Carroll. He survives, as do their children, Jeffrey A. (Cynthia Link-Carroll) Carroll of Leesburg, Virginia and Allison R. Carroll of Green Springs. Three grandchildren, Amber Carroll and Alicia Carroll, both of Wesley Chapel, Florida and Jeffrey Carroll Jr. of Purcellville, Virginia.  Two special great nieces Credence and Nevaeh both of Green Springs. Her sister Elaine Larson survives in Osh Kosh, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Georgia Miller, Norman Miller and Delbert Miller.

Brenda enjoyed shopping and decorating, especially thinking of others with her purchases. Her most treasured times were spent with her grandchildren. On May 7, 1988 she married Robert C. Weller. He preceded her in death in October 2020. Survivors include her sons: Brandan Mellon of Flat Rock and Jordan (Lisa) Mellon of Flat Rock; grandchildren: Ethan, Kylah, Nevaeh, Victoria, Edward; siblings: Sharon (Paul) Booth of Rose City, Michigan; Jesse Nida, Jr of Findlay; and Robin (Tony) O'Brien of Castalia; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Brenda was preceded in death by her sister, Emma Highlander. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm Thursday, January13, 2022 at the Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue. Her funeral service will be 10:00am Friday, January 14 at the funeral home with her nephew, Rev. Jeremy Highlander officiating. Burial will follow in Bishop Seybert Cemetery, Flat Rock. Obituary Preview: Terry H. Eisenhauer, 72, of Bellevue, died at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky on Saturday, January 8, 2022.
Terry was born in Bellevue on March 5,1949 to Annie (Adams) and Howard Eisenhauer.
He was a 1968 graduate of Margaretta High School.
Terry had started his working life at the former Bellevue Farmers Co-Op, then went on to become the manager of Castalia Elevator; Horn's Crop Service, Manager of the Bellevue operation; the Wilkes' Manager, before beginning his own business, Mid Ohio Sludge. He retired and closed his business in 2019. Mr. Eisenhauer was a member of the Bellevue Eagles and the NRA. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunting and fishing especially. Recently, enjoying a trip with his son and grandson, among others, for hunting. Terry always had the time for his family. His children and grandchildren knew he would be there supporting them in all their activities. His love of his family was worn on his sleeve,
On August 30, 1966, he married Bertha "Bert" Miller. She along with three children, Renee' (Dan) Schoen of Bellevue; Randall (Eileen) Eisenhauer, of Shiloh, and Scott (Heather) Eisenhauer survive. Eight grandchildren, Tanner (Julie) Schoen; Tricia (DJ) Schoen, Tate Schoen; Kaitlyn (Brandon) Spangler, Kristen Eisenhauer; Michaela Eisenhauer, Brandon Eisenhauer and Devyne Eisenhauer also survive. One great grandson, Oliver Spangler survives as well.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sheryl Kluding.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. The funeral will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 11:30 am with Rev. Kyle Gase officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellevue.
Memorials may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the favorite charity of the donor.

He was born September 19, 1953 in Bellevue to George E. & Ignatia (DeLiberto) Trapp. He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1971. A few years ago, George returned to Bellevue, after spending many years living in the Columbusarea. Currently, he was working for Golden Giant. George was a member of St. Gaspar del Bufalo Catholic Church; the Bellevue Elks, and the Dublin Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, and all sports, especially racing and ice hockey. On September 13, 1975 he married Rose M. (Schindley) and she survives in Bellevue. Also surviving are their sons: Joe (Jennifer) Trapp of Louisiana and Anthony (Amanda) Trapp of Lakewood; his brother, Paul Trapp of Amherst; and many extended family members. Visitation will be 9:30-11:00am Thursday, January 13, 2022 at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Catholic Church, 16209 County Road 46, Bellevue. Mass will begin at 11:00am at the church with Rev. Nathan Bockrath officiating. Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bellevue is assisting the family with arrangements. Clifton L. Rose - September 10, 1931 - January 02, 2022

Obituary Preview: Clifton L. Rose, 90, formerly of Bellevue, Ohio, and more recently of New Haven, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Mercy Willard Hospital.
Clif was born in Athens, Alabama on September 10, 1931 to the late Trudie (Rose) Raney. He was raised in Limestone County, Alabama until his enlistment into the United States Army on August 20, 1946 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Clif received the World War II Victory Medal and the Occupation Medal during his time in the service. Clif was a Private in the 82nd and the 101st Airborne Divisions before his Honorable Discharge in July 1949.
On July 30, 1951, Clif married Betty F. (Embry) Rose in Corinth, Mississippi. He is survived by two daughters; Monica Kovacs of New Haven, Ohio and Sonia (Donald) Elliott of Richmond, Virginia. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Justin (Crystal) Kovacs, Jynelle (Shane) Rex, and Christopher (Alexis) Rose; six great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and one brother, Dennis Raney of Moulton, Alabama.
Mr. Rose was preceded in death by his wife, Betty and their son, Gregory Rose.
Clifton was a retired Yardmaster with Norfolk & Southern Railroad in Bellevue, Ohio. Because of his career, Clif was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen.  He was also a member of the Church of Christ and a long-time member of Woodmen of the World.  He was an avid rock hound and went on many digs throughout the country. He began his own business, Clif’s Rock & Gem, while living in Coshocton, Ohio and later became a member of the Mid-Ohio Mineral & Fossil Club. Clif joined the Bellevue Fraternal Order of Eagles #490 in 1998 and remained an active member to date. Golfing, boating, and gardening were among some of his other favorite pastimes.
People will remember Clif’s humor and his love for life. He was a people person and knew no stranger. He had a knack for getting to know each and every person that ever had the privilege of being his neighbor and will be missed by many.

Donald Joseph West - March 16, 1938 - December 27, 2021

Obituary Preview: Donald Joseph West, 83, of Bellevue, died at The Willows of Bellevue on Monday, December 27, 2021.
Mr. West was born on March 16,1938, the third child of the now deceased Gladys (Kramer) and Clifton West in Toledo, Ohio.
He was a 1956 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Then graduating from the University of Toledo in 1960 with a Bachelor's in education. Later, earning a master's and Specialist in Education degree. He was a principal in Seneca East from 1973-1978 and serving with the Bellevue Schools as principal until retirement in 1998. After retirement he was a residential tax assessment person and then finally a sub for the Margaretta Schools.
Don was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Bellevue, along with the Rolls Royce Owners Club of Ohio. Since 1978, he was a member of the Bellevue Lions, where he had served as secretary, President; Zone Chairman and received the Melvin Jones Fellow Award.  Also, Don was a member of the Bellevue Eagles.
On August 29, 1964, he married Ann L. Corbin. She, along with their four children, LeeAnn Hager of Sandusky; Kevin Patrick (Tricia) West of Bellevue; Brian Joseph West of Orange, California and Christopher Paul (Chandalar) West of Findlay survive. Five grandchildren, Amanda; Sean; Emily; Cashel and Connelly, along with five great grandchildren also survive. Ann's siblings, Patricia Bastic of Appleton, Wisconsin and Terry Corbin of Minneapolis, Minnesota survive as well.
Mr. West was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond West and sister, Virginia Kirian.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 29,2021 form 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm with Lion Services at 6:30 pm at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. The funeral mass will be at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Thursday, December 30,2021 with Rev. Kyle Gase officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Bellevue.  The family asks unvaccinated attendees wear masks at all services.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Bellevue Lions Club or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Brian was born in Bradenton, Florida on March 25,1980 to Ivy (Keegan) and Charles Sampsel.
He was a handyman, "jack of all trades" in the area. He especially liked to work with wood.
Brian loved the outdoors, gardening, working with plants. He like the open space.
Survivors include his parents, Ivy and Charles of Bellevue; sisters, Michelle (Teddy) Posey and Andrea Alley all of Clyde, along with his brother, Jason Howey of Bellevue. Nieces and nephews survive as well.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 29,2021 at Noon at Ellsworth Cemetery, Clyde with Pastor James Waugh officiating.

Mary was born in Port Clinton on March 3, 1925 to the now deceased Cora (Hopfinger) and Robert Darr.
In 1929, her family moved to Clyde. She graduated from Clyde High School in 1943, where she had served as secretary and treasurer of her class. For two years, she worked for the City of Clyde as the utility clerk, then she worked for Ohio Fuel Gas (now Columbia Gas) from 1946-1958. Mrs. Meyers ended her working career in 2009 as the co-owner of Meyer Auto & Service and Meyer Marine as the bookkeeper.
On June 19, 1948, she married Robert L. Meyers. Bob died on December 14, 2012.

Survivors include two children, Mark (Mary) Meyers of Lake Mary, Florida and Diane Meyers of Huron. Four grandchildren, Lindsey, Robert, Jason and Ophelia, along with her brother, Harold "Gene" (Irene) Darr and five great grandchildren survive as well.
Mrs. Meyers was preceded in death by a brother Gerald Darr and a sister, Agnes Ejhinger.
Mary was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue, along with the VFW 1238. She had formerly been a member of the Daughters of Isabella and 4 Co. Young at Heart. She enjoyed her flowers and being outside in various activities.
The funeral mass will be on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 10:30 am with visitation for 30 minutes prior to mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Bellevue.
Memorials may be made to the church or to Stein Hospice.

Mr. Binsack was a member of Faith Bible Church, Bellevue. He enjoyed the outdoors by hunting and fishing, but his love was spending time with the grandchildren.
On April 15, 1978, he married Patricia Mykytuk. She, along with their three children, Christopher Binsack of Bellevue; Karen (Joshua) Russell of Castalia and Katie (Brian) Barbour of Monroeville survive. Five grandchildren, Rebecca, Alexis; Addison, James and Jacob also survive. Seven siblings, Alfred Binsack; Linda (David) Kupka all of Fremont; John (Rosanne) Binsack of Columbus; Michael Binsack; Mark (Gina) Binsack, all of Fremont; Mary Binsack of Port Clinton and Marcia Cleveland of Fremont survive as well. Rick was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Marilyn Norman, and Alberta and Victor Widmer, who raised him

Mrs. LaBonte liked to garden and attend her flowers. She had enjoyed cake decorating and crocheting and was an avid reader. Formerly, Barb had been a member of the Clyde Fire Department Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Christian R. LaBonte, along with their children, David A. (Shirley) LaBonte and Kristine A. (Joel Reyna) LaBonte all of Fremont. One brother, Arthur "Bud" (Pauline) Wollenslegel of Clyde survives as well.
Barb was preceded by her parents, brothers Harold and Eugene Wollenslegel and sisters, Mary Ellen Dick and Ruth Schumacher.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 10,2021 from 10:00 am until the service at Noon at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia Street, Bellevue. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Bellevue.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children or the Humane Society.

Velma is survived by her daughters: Rhonda (Don) Wilcox of Bellevue; Shari (Dan) Renwand of Bellevue; Dawn (Lee) Beckman of Bellevue; and Tonya Laviola of Norwalk; grandchildren: Matthew (Jessi) Wilcox; Bryan Wilcox; Lesa (Matt) Jarvis; Kevin Wilcox; Shelby (Tyler) George; Cory Silcott; Felicia Beckman; Lacey (Garrick) Gorgan; Mitchell Strow; Gabby Laviola; great-grandchildren: Londen, Tristen, Carter, Aubree, Amelia, Airyana, Braylon; her sister, Julie Kennedy of Tennessee; and sister-in-law, Sue Strow of Bellevue.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Ernie Strow and Rodney Strow; and her brother-in-law, Jim Kennedy.
Private family services will be held for Velma.  Memorial contributions in her memory may be given to Fish 'n' Loaves, 203 Maple St, Bellevue; Project Linus, PO Box 1548, Belton, MO 64012-1108; The Bellevue Public Library, 224 E. Main St, Bellevue.
